| 1 | ^(15)N isotope fractionation in an aquatic food chain:Bellamya aeruginosa(Reeve) as an algal control agent显示文摘15N isotope tracer techniques and ecological modeling were adopted to investigate the fractionation of nitrogen,its uptake and transformation in algae and snail(Bellamya aeruginosa Reeve).Different algal species were found to differ in their uptake of nitrogen isotopes.Microcystis aeruginisa Ktz.demonstrated the greatest 15N accumulation capacity,with the natural variation in isotopic ratio(δ 15N) and the isotope fractionation factor(ε,‰) being the highest among the species investigated.The transformation and utilization of 15N by snails differed depending on the specific algae consumed(highest for Chlorella pyrenoidosa Chick.,lowest for M.aeruginisa).When snails was seeded in the experimental pond,the algae population structure changed significantly,and total algal biomass as well as the concentration of all nitrogen species decreased,causing an increase in water transparency.A model,incorporating several chemical and biological parameters,was developed to predict algal biomass in an aquatic system when snails was present.The data collected during this investigation indicated that the gastropods such as snails could significantly impact biological community and water quality of small water bodies,suggesting a role for biological control of noxious algal blooms associated with eutrophication. | Shiqun Han Shaohua Yan Kaining Chen Zhenhua Zhang Rengel Zed Jianqiu Zhang Wei Song Haiqin Liu | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,2: | 14 |

| 3 | Extraction and separation of heavy rare earths from chloride medium byα-aminophosphonic acid HEHAPP显示文摘The extraction and separation of heavy rare earths(REs) using newly synthesized a-aminophosphonic acid extractant 2-ethylhexyl-3-(2-ethylhexylamino)pentan-3-yl phosphonic acid(HEHAPP, HA) in nheptane were investigated from chloride medium. The extraction stoichiometries of lanthanum, gadolinium, yttrium and lutetium are determined to be REA3 by the slope analysis method. The favorable separation factors of adjacent heavy REs(Ⅲ),i.e. β_(Y/Ho), β_(Er/Y),β_(Tm/Er),β_(Yb/Tm) and β_(Lu/Yb), are determined to be1.87,1.36, 3.21,3.22 and 1.93, respectively, when extracted from a binary system at proper condition. The loading capacities of HA for Ho, Er, Yb and Lu increase in the order Ho < Er < Yb < Lu with the values being 0.201, 0.205, 0.216 and 0.229 mol/L, respectively. So HA would be a potential extractant for the separation of heavy REs(Ⅲ). | 5 | 3D urchin like V-doped CoP in situ grown on nickel foam as bifunctional electrocatalyst for efficient overall water-splitting显示文摘Cobalt phosphide (CoP) is considered to be a potential candidate in the field of electrocatalysis due to its low-cost, abundant resources and high electrochemical stability. However, there is a great space for further improvement of its electrocatalytic performance since its charge transfer rate and catalytic activity have not reached a satisfactory level. Herein, we design and fabricate a three dimensional urchins like V-doped CoP with different amounts of V-doping on nickel foam electrode. The V-doped CoP/NF electrode with optimized amounts of V-doping (10%) exhibits outstanding hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) performance under universal-pH conditions and preeminent oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performance in alkaline media. Notably, the assembled water-splitting cell displays a cell voltage of only 1.53 V at 10 mA·cm−2 and has excellent durability, much better than many reported related bifunctional catalysts. The experiment results and theoretical analysis revealed that vanadium atoms replace cobalt atoms in CoP lattice. Vanadium doping can not only raise the density of electronic states near the Fermi level enhancing the conductivity of the catalyst, but can also optimize the free energy of hydrogen and oxygen-containing intermediates adsorption over CoP, thus promoting its catalytic activity. Moreover, the unique nanostructure of the catalyst provides the various shortened channels for charge transfer and reactant/electrolyte diffusion, which accelerates the electrocatalytic process. | 6 | Puerarin decreases hypoxia inducible factor-1 alpha in the hippocampus of vascular dementia rats显示文摘In this study, a rat vascular dementia model was established by permanent bilateral common carotid arterial occlusion. Rats were intraperitoneally injected with puerarin 3 days before modeling, for 45 successive days. Results demonstrated that in treated animals hippocampal structures were clear, nerve cells arranged neatly, and cytoplasm was rich in Nissl bodies. The number of cells positive for hypoxia inducible factor-1 alpha, erythropoietin and endothelial nitric oxide synthase was reduced; and the learning and memory abilities of rats were significantly improved. They have recently developed dramatically due to the advent of optical clocks. State-of-the-art narrow-linewidth lasers have been constructed by using the Pound-Drever-Hall (PDH) technique to lock the laser frequencies to the resonance of ultra-stable external optical cavities with high finesse. This paper introduces the developments of narrow-linewidth lasers, with a focus on the improvements of length stability of optical reference cavities, including optical cavity designs of vibration insensitivity and low thermal noise. | 9 | Nonlinear vibration response characteristics of a dual-rotor-bearing system with squeeze film damper显示文摘Rolling bearing and Squeeze Film Damper(SFD)are used in rotor support structures,and most researches on the nonlinear rotor-bearing system are focused on the simple rotor-bearing systems.This work emphasizes the comparative analysis of the influence of SFD on the nonlinear dynamic behavior of the dual-rotor system supported by rolling bearings.Firstly,a reduced dynamic model is established by combining the Finite Element(FE)method and the freeinterface method of component mode synthesis.The proposed model is verified by comparing the natural characteristics obtained from an FE model with those from the experiment.Then,the steady-state vibration responses of the system with or without SFD are solved by the numerical integration method.The influences of the ball bearing clearance,unbalance,centralizing spring stiffness and oil film clearance of SFD on the nonlinear steady-state vibration responses of the dual-rotor system are analyzed.Results show that SFD can effectively suppress the amplitude jump of the dual rotor system sustaining two rotors unbalance excitations.As the ball bearing clearance or unbalance increases,the amplitude jump phenomenon becomes more obvious,the resonance hysteresis phenomenon strengthens or weakens,the resonant peaks shift to the left or the right,respectively.SFD with unreasonable parameters will aggravate the system vibration,the smaller the oil film clearance,the better the damping performance of the SFD,the larger the centralizing spring stiffness is,the larger resonance amplitudes are. | Xinxing MA Hui MA Haiqin QIN Xumin GUO Chenguang ZHAO Mingyue YU | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,10: | 3 |
