1Experimental studies on the P-T stability conditions and influencing factors of gas hydrate in different systems显示文摘The P-T stability conditions of gas hydrate in different systems (i.e., solution, silica sand, and marine sediment) were studied using multi-step decomposition method with our experimental equipment. The effects of different ions with various concentrations and sediment grains on the P-T stability conditions of gas hydrate were investigated. The results show that different ions have different influences on the phase equilibrium of gas hydrate. However, the influence of ions is in a similar trend: the larger the concentration, the bigger the P-T curve shifts to the left. For the silica sand, the influence of pore capillarity of coarse particles (> 460 μm) can be negligible. The P-T curve measured in coarse silica is in agreement with that in pure water. However, the influence of pore capillarity of fine particles (< 35 μm) is significant. The maximum reduction value of temperature is 1.5 K for methane hydrate under stable state. The sediment from the South China Sea significantly affects the P-T stability conditions of methane hydrate, with an average reduction value of 1.9 K within the experimental conditions. This is mainly the result of both the pore water salinity and the pore capillarity of sediment. 2Surface free energy of copper-zinc alloy for energy-saving of boiler显示文摘Cu-Zn, Cu-Zn-Sn, Cu-Zn-Ni alloys were melted by vacuum smelter. The effect factors to the surface free energy of the alloys such as chemical composition, crystal structure and surface crystal lattice distortion etc. were investigated by OCA30 automatic contact angle test instrument, metallography microscope and XRD instrument etc. Results suggests: adding alloy element to Cu may increase its surface free energy, and the more kinds of alloy elements are added, the more surface free energy increases; the alloy element Sn an increase the surface free energy of Cu-Zn alloy; Cu-Zn alloy with fir-tree crystal structure, great phase discrepancy and obvious composition aliquation has greater surface free energy; Cu-Zn alloy with compounds and serious surface crystal lattice distortion has greater surface free energy.WANG Man LIANG Jinsheng TANG Qingguo MING Xing MENG Junping DING Yan 2006Rare Metals2006,25,z1:6
3Modified micro-mechanics based multiscale model for progressive failure prediction of 2D twill woven composites显示文摘To consider fiber random distribution at the microscale for the multiscale model based on the micro-mechanics failure(MMF)theory,clustering method is used for the extraction of amplification factors.As the clustering method is a kind of unsupervised machine learning method,the elements with similar mechanical behavior under external loading can be included in a cluster automatically at the microscale.With this modification,the fiber random distribution model can be used for multiscale damage analysis in the framework of MMF theory.To validate the modified multiscale analysis method,progressive damage analysis of a kind of 2D twill woven composites is conducted based on different microscale models.The stress values for microscale models with fiber hexagonal and random distribution patterns are compared first.Much higher stress concentration is generated in the fiber random distribution model due to the smaller inter-fiber distance especially under longitudinal shear loading.The obtained cluster distribution results exhibit the characters of the stress distribution in the two microscale models.Thereafter,tensile and compressive responses of the 2D twill woven composite are predicted with the modified multiscale analysis method and accuracy of the method is verified through comparison with published experimental results.From the simulation results,it can be found that the matrix damage initiation from the model based on the fiber random distribution model is premature compared with that from the model based on the fiber hexagonal distribution model.Besides,under tensile loading,the damage all initiates from the fill tows and propagates to the wrap tows.However,under compressive loading,the matrix damage initiates from the wrap tows in the model based on the fiber random distribution model.Meng WANG Peiwei ZHANG Qingguo FEI Fei GUO 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,7:4

6Effect of Methane Gas on Acoustic Characteristics of Hydrate-Bearing Sediment–Model Analysis and Experimental Verification显示文摘Gas leakage is an important consideration in natural systems that experience gas hydrate accumulation.A number of velocity models have been created to study hydrate-bearing sediments,including the BGTL theory,the weighted equation,the Wood equation,the K-T equation,and the effective medium theory.In previous work,we regarded water as the pore fluid,which meant its density and bulk modulus values were those of water.This approach ignores the presence of gas,which results in a biased calculation of the pore fluid's bulk modulus and density.To take into account the effect of gas on the elastic wave velocity,it is necessary to recalculate the bulk modulus and density of an equivalent medium.Thus,a high-pressure reactor device for simulating leakage systems was developed to establish the relationship between wave velocity and hydrate saturation in methane-flux mode.A comparison of the values calculated by the velocity model with the experimental data obtained in this study indicates that the effective medium theory(EMT,which considers gas effects)is more applicable than other models.For hydrate saturations of 10%–30%,the result ranges between EMT-B(homogenous gas distribution)and EMT-B(patchy gas distribution).For hydrate saturations of 30%–60%,the results are similar to those of the EMT-B(homogenous gas distribution)mode,whereas hydrate saturations of 60%–70%yield results similar to those of the EMT-A mode.For hydrate saturations greater than 80%,the experimental results are similar to those of the EMT-B mode.These results have significance for hydrate exploitation in the South China Sea.BU Qingtao HU Gaowei LIU Changling DONG Jie XING Tongju SUN Jianye LI Chengfeng MENG Qingguo 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,1:2
7Enhanced zinc storage performance of mixed valent manganese oxide for flexible coaxial fiber zinc-ion battery by limited reduction control显示文摘While manganese-based cathodes have been intensively studied for zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs),the limited rate capability and cycle life have always been a difficult problem to be solved.Here,we report a mixed valent manganese oxide(MnOx)cathode with superior electrochemical performance,which exhibits a high specific capacity of 450 mA h/g at 0.2 C and a satisfactory specific capacity of 158.3 mA h/g at a high rate of 5 C.The mixed cathode system reduces the charge transfer resistance,and show good surface stability and adsorption properties,so it is beneficial for the storage of Zn^(2+).Meanwhile,coaxial fiber ZIBs(CFZIBs)with splendid flexibility are assembled utilizing the elaborately prepared cathode material.The CFZIBs achieve a reversible capacity of 255.8 m A h/g and the capacity retention rate is as high as 80%after 1000 bending deformations.This study provides new opportunities for designing ZIBs with high performance and high flexibility.Xiaobei Zang Li Lingtong Jiaxin Meng Lijia Liu Yuanyuan Pan Qingguo Shao Ning Cao 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,15:2

9Single-Atom Pd–N_(3)Sites on Carbon-Defi cient g-C_(3)N_(4)for Photocatalytic H_(2)Evolution显示文摘Photocatalytic hydrogen evolution is an attractive fi eld for future environment-friendly energy.However,fast recombination of photogenerated charges severely inhibits hydrogen effi ciency.Single-atom cocatalysts such as Pt have emerged as an eff ective method to enhance the photocatalytic activity by introduction of active sites and boosting charge separation with low-coordination environment.Herein,we demonstrated a new strategy to develop a highly active Pd single atom in carbondefi cient g-C_(3)N_(4)with a unique coordination.The single-atom Pd–N_(3)sites constructed by oil bath heating and photoreduction process were confi rmed by HADDF-STEM and XPS measurements.Introduction of single-atom Pd greatly improved the separation and transportation of charge carriers,leading to a longer lifespan for consequent reactions.The obtained singleatom Pd loaded on the carbon-defi cient g-C_(3)N_(4)showed excellent photocatalytic activity in hydrogen production with about 24 and 4 times higher activity than that of g-C_(3)N_(4)and nano-sized Pd on the same support,respectively.This work provides a new insight on the design of single-atom catalyst.Guimei Liu Haiqin Lv Yubin Zeng Mingzhe Yuan Qingguo Meng Yuanhao Wang Chuanyi Wang 2021Transactions of Tianjin University2021,27,2:1
10Synthesis, structure, and magnetism of three manganese-organic framework with PtS topology显示文摘Three 3D manganese-organic frameworks, Mn2(BPTC)(DMF)2(H2O)·DMF·3H2O(1), Mn2(BPTC)(bipy)(DMF)·DMF·H2O(2), and Mn2(BPTC)(phen)(DMF)·EtOH(3), have been solvothermally synthesized using 3,3′,5,5′-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid(H4BPTC). All complexes are characterized by PXRD, EA, IR and TG. The results show that they all bear the PtS topology with(42.84)(42.84) for the vertex symbols of the planar and tetrahedral nodes, in which the BPTC ligand is considered as a square-planar 4-connected linker, and every binuclear SBU connected to the four BPTC ligands is simplified into tetrahedral 4-connected nodes. Because the three coordination sites of one metal center of SBU are occupied by the coordinated solvent molecules, complex 1 exhibits low stability. After substituting 2,2′-bipy or 1,10-phen for two coordinated solvent molecules, complexes 2 and 3 display evidently higher structure stability. 12The Variation of Microbial(Methanotroph)Communities in Marine Sediments Due to Aerobic Oxidation of Hydrocarbons显示文摘Methanotrophs in marine sediments and overlying water attenuate the emissions of methane into the atmosphere and thus play an important role for the global cycle of this greenhouse gas.However,gas released from natural hydrocarbon seeps are not pure methane but commonly mixed hydrocarbons.Currently,how methanotrophic bacteria behave in the co-presence of methane and heavier hydrocarbons remains unknown.In this paper,the bacteria were cultured aerobically in fresh sediment samples(collected from Bohai Bay in eastern China)at 28℃under the atmospheres of pure methane and methane+ethane+propane mixed gas,respec-tively.The prevailing terrigenous n-alkanes and fatty acids in the original sediment samples varied consistently after incubations,confirming the proceeding of aerobic bacterial activities.The real-time quantitative PCR assay and sequencing of the 16S rRNA and particulate methane monooxygenase(pmoA)genes revealed the changes of microbe communities to a methanotroph-dominating structure after incubations.Particularly,after incubations the family Methylococcaceae(typeⅠmethanotrophs)became dominant with proportions higher than 40%,whereas Methylocystaceae(typeⅡmethanotrophs)nearly disappeared in all incubated samples.More-over,the species of methanotrophs from the samples treated with pure methane were dominated by Methylobacter luteus,whereas Methylobacter whittenburyi took the predominant proportion in the samples treated with mixed gas.The phenomenon suggests that some methanotrophs may also utilize ethane and propane.Collectively,this study may help to gain a better understanding of the ef-fects and contributions of microbial activities in marine hydrocarbon seep ecosystems.LI Jing LIU Changling WU Nengyou HE Xingliang HAO Xiluo LI Feng CHEN Ye MENG Qingguo 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,3:1

17Preparation and Luminescence Properties of Terbium-Sal Complex In-situ Synthesized in Silica Matrix by a Two-Step Sol-Gel Process显示文摘In-situ synthesis of terbium complex with saiicylic acid (Sal) in silica matrix was made by a two-step sol-gel process. The terbium complex with salicylic acid was formed in sol-gel derived silica gel, and confirmed by the luminescence excitation spectra and infrared(IR) spectra. As compared to the pure terbium complex powder, the silica gel containing terbium complex exhibits its characteristic emission and presents a longer fluorescence lifetime than that for the pure complex. The luminescence properties of the complex containing silica gel were investigated and compared with that of both terbium doped the silica gel and the pure complex powder.
