1Exercise as a prescription for patients with various diseases显示文摘A growing understanding of the benefits of exercise over the past few decades has prompted researchers to take an interest in the possibilities of exercise therapy.Because each sport has its own set of characteristics and physiological complications that tend to occur during exercise training,the effects and underlying mechanisms of exercise remain unclear.Thus,the first step in probing the effects of exercise on different diseases is the selection of an optimal exercise protocol.This review summarizes the latest exercise prescription treatments for 26 different diseases:musculoskeletal system diseases(low back pain,tendon injury,osteoporosis,osteoarthritis,and hip fracture),metabolic system diseases(obesity,type 2 diabetes,type 1 diabetes,and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease),cardio-cerebral vascular system diseases(coronary artery disease,stroke,and chronic heart failure),nervous system diseases(Parkinson’s disease,Huntington’s disease,Alzheimer’s disease,depression,and anxiety disorders),respiratory system diseases(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,interstitial lung disease,and after lung transplantation),urinary system diseases(chronic kidney disease and after kidney transplantation),and cancers(breast cancer,colon cancer,prostate cancer,and lung cancer).Each exercise prescription is displayed in a corresponding table.The recommended type,intensity,and frequency of exercise prescriptions are summarized,and the effects of exercise therapy on the prevention and rehabilitation of different diseases are discussed.Xin Luan Xiangyang Tian Haixin Zhang Rui Huang Na Li Peijie Chen Ru Wang 2019Journal of Sport and Health Science2019,8,5:61
2Earth surface processes and their effects on human behavior in monsoonal China during the Pleistocene-Holocene epochs显示文摘There is a wide diversity of landforms in China.The topography of three major terraces,decreasing in height stepwise from west to east,was formed by the early Miocene.With the commencement of the Great Northern Hemisphere Glaciations(GHGs)and the glacial-interglacial cycles in the Pleistocene,thick loess deposits accumulated in north China,and fluvial terraces were formed and lakes expanded and contracted in eastern and central China.The earliest evidence of hominins in China is dated to ~1.7 Ma;they occupied the monsoon-dominated region for a long interval,until the late Pleistocene,~50 ka.In this study,we investigated a large area rich in the relics and artifacts of early man.The results indicate that the early humans occupied riverine areas,especially medium-sized fluvial basins,and lake shores.Even in the relatively recent geological past,the occupation and abandonment of settlements were directly forced by the shifting of sand dune fields in the desert-loess transitional zone,which in turn was closely associated with variations in the monsoon climate and vegetation patterns.Our observations indicate that landforms were one of the main determinants of early human behavior,in that loess tableland,large alluvial plains,desert-Gobi areas,and the Tibetan Plateau,were not suitable environments for early human settlement.We infer that the early humans in China adapted their behavior to specific landforms and landform processes.The monsoon climate,which shapes the large-scale step-like pattern of fluvial landforms,promotes vegetation coverage and dominates soil formation,provides a crucial context for early human adaptation.The adaptation of early humans to earth surface processes in East Asia is investigated for the first time in this study.Future investigations will provide further information that will increase our understanding of the linkage between early human behavior and landform processes in East Asia.LU Huayu ZHUO Haixin ZHANG Wenchao WANG Shejiang ZHANG Hongyan SUN Xuefeng JIA Xin XU Zhiwei WANG Xianyan 2017Journal of Geographical Sciences2017,27,11:12
3Drag prediction method of powered-on civil aircraft based on thrust drag bookkeeping显示文摘A drag prediction method based on thrust drag bookkeeping(TDB) is introduced for civil jet propulsion/airframe integration performance analysis.The method is derived from the control volume theory of a powered-on nacelle.Key problem of the TDB is identified to be accurate prediction of velocity coefficient of the powered-on nacelle.Accuracy of CFD solver is validated by test cases of the first AIAA Propulsion Aerodynamics Workshop.Then the TDB method is applied to thrust and drag decomposing of a realistic aircraft.A linear relation between the computations assumed free stream Mach number and the velocity coefficient result is revealed.The thrust losses caused by nozzle internal drag and pylon scrubbing are obtained by the isolated nacelle and mapped on to the in-flight whole configuration analysis.Effects of the powered-on condition are investigated by comparing through-flow configuration with powered-on configuration.The variance on aerodynamic coefficients and pressure distribution is numerically studied.Zhang Yufei Chen Haixin Fu Song Zhang Miao Zhang Meihong 2015Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,4:11

5A Karman-Vortex Generator for passive separation control in a conical diffuser显示文摘Flow separation in a conical diffuser with large divergence angle(29.14°) and large area ratio(3.533) is eliminated by a novel passive flow control device called Karman-Vortex Generator(KVG).The effect of the KVG is verified and investigated by the URANS,DES and DDES methods based on the SST model.CFD results show that the performance coefficient of the diffuser can be doubled by the KVG,and the total pressure recovery coefficient can be improved by about 1.2%.DES and DDES results show that the KVG can introduce a Karman-vortex street frequency in the diffuser.This frequency decays rapidly,and could not be detected in the ending plane of the expansion section.Different KVG configurations with different locations and dimensions are numerically simulated and compared.Some suggestions are provided.ZHANG YuFei CHEN HaiXin FU Song 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,5:7
6Effectiveness and clinical benefit of a therapy of combined non-pharmaceutical Traditional Chinese Medicine for knee osteoarthritis: a randomized controlled study显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To compare the efficacy of honey mouthwash 12.5% and chlorhexidine solution 0.2% to reduce the rate of oropharyngeal bacterial colonization in mechanically-ventilated patients.METHODS: This study was a randomized, single blind, phase Ⅲ controlled clinical trial. Sixty patients newly admitted to internal and trauma Intensive Care Units of the two educational hospitals of Sanandaj city affiliated with Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences were selected by convenience sampling and allocated to two groups of 30 patients using random blocks design. In each group,the mouthwash was applied twice a day for four consecutive days. Swab samples were taken from the mouth and throat of all patients three times a day(pre-intervention, two days, and four days after the intervention) and then the samples were transferred onto the blood agar and eosin methylene blue(EMB) culture plates and investigated for bacterial growth and colonization after 24-48 h.RESULTS: The findings showed that oropharyngeal colonization was not significantly different between the two groups, pre-intervention, two days,and four days after the intervention(P > 0.05). Rinsing with honey mouthwash 12.5% led to the inhibition of Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa on the fourth day of the intervention in all samples.CONCLUSION: None of the studied solutions contributed to the reduction of oropharyngeal bacterial colonization. 8Effect of acupuncture therapies combined with usual medical care on knee osteoarthritis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of acupuncture or electroacupuncture(EA) combined with usual medical care for treating knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS: A total of 90 patients with KOA were randomly allocated to 3 groups: usual care group(UC group, n = 30) was treated by pharmacological treatment of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) and drugs for activating blood circulation(Ds-ABC), acupuncture(AP) combined with usual care group(UC group)(AP + UC group, n =30) and EA combined with UC group(EA + UC group, n = 30). The primary outcome measurements included pain visual analogue scale/score(VAS), Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC Index) and its subscales. Secondary outcome measurement was Assessment of Quality of Life instrument version of the 36-item Short Form Health Survey(AQoL-SF36).RESULTS: By the end of the 1 st week, AP + UC group and EA + UC group exhibited statistically significant improvements in primary outcome measures, except for WOMAC stiffness, compared with the UC group(P < 0.05). Moreover, the energy/fatigue domain of AQoL-SF36 in the AP + UC group showed better results than UC group(P < 0.05). By the end of the 2 nd week, all the primary outcome measures revealed that either the AP + UC or EA +UC group demonstrating remarkable advantages compared with the UC group(P < 0.05). The social functioning and general health domains of AQoLSF36 in the two acupuncture-intervention groups were improved significantly than UC group(P <0.05). 9Pressure distribution guided supercritical wing optimization显示文摘Pressure distribution is important information for engineers during an aerodynamic design process. Pressure Distribution Oriented(PDO) optimization design has been proposed to introduce pressure distribution manipulation into traditional performance dominated optimization.In previous PDO approaches, constraints or manual manipulation have been used to obtain a desirable pressure distribution. In the present paper, a new Pressure Distribution Guided(PDG) method is developed to enable better pressure distribution manipulation while maintaining optimization efficiency. Based on the RBF-Assisted Differential Evolution(RADE) algorithm, a surrogate model is built for target pressure distribution features. By introducing individuals suggested by suboptimization on the surrogate model into the population, the direction of optimal searching can be guided. Pressure distribution expectation and aerodynamic performance improvement can be achieved at the same time. The improvements of the PDG method are illustrated by comparing its design results and efficiency on airfoil optimization test cases with those obtained using other methods. Then the PDG method is applied on a dual-aisle airplane's inner-board wing design. 10Optimization design of airfoils under atmospheric icing conditions for UAV显示文摘Natural ice accretion on the lifting surface of an aircraft is detrimental to its aerodynamic performance, as it changes the effective streamlined body. The main focus of this work considers the optimization design of airfoils under atmospheric icing conditions for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV). The ice formation process is simulated by the Eulerian approach and the three-dimensional Myers model. A three-equation turbulence model is implemented to accurately predict the stall performance of the iced airfoil. In recognition of the real atmospheric variability in the icing parameters, the medium volume diameter of supercooled water droplets is treated as an uncertainty with an assumed probability density function. A technique of polynomial chaos expansion is used to propagate the input uncertainty through the deterministic system. The numerical results show that the multipoint/multiobjective optimization strategy can efficiently improve both the ice tolerance and the cruise performance of an airfoil. 11Tranexamic acid for acute intracerebral haemorrhage growth based on imaging assessment (TRAIGE): a multicentre, randomised, placebo- controlled trial显示文摘Background Studies show tranexamic acid can reduce the risk of death and early neurological deterioration after intracranial haemorrhage.We aimed to assess whether tranexamic acid reduces haematoma expansion and improves outcome in intracerebral haemorrhage patients susceptible to haemorrhage expansion.Methods We did a prospective,double-blind,randomised,placebo-controlled trial at 10 stroke centres in China.Acute supratentorial intracerebral haemorrhage patients were eligible if they had indication of haemorrhage expansion on admission imaging(eg,spot sign,black hole sign or blend sign),and were treatable within 8 hours of symptom onset.Patients were randomly assigned(1:1)to receive either tranexamic acid or a matching placebo.The primary outcome was intracerebral haematoma growth(>33% relative or>6 mL absolute)at 24 hours.Clinical outcomes were assessed at 90 days.Results Of the 171 included patients,124(72.5%)were male,and the mean age was 55.9±11.6 years.89 patients received tranexamic acid and 82 received placebo.The primary outcome did not differ significantly between the groups:36(40.4%)patients in the tranexamic acid group and 34(41.5%)patients in the placebo group had intracranial haemorrhage growth(OR 0.96,95% CI 0.52 to 1.77,p=0.89).The proportion of death was lower in the tranexamic acid treatment group than placebo group(8.1%vs 10.0%),but there were no significant differences in secondary outcomes including absolute intracranial haemorrhage growth,death and dependency.Conclusions Among patients susceptible to haemorrhage expansion treated within 8 hours of stroke onset,tranexamic acid did not significantly prevent intracerebral haemorrhage growth.Larger studies are needed to assess safety and efficacy of tranexamic acid in intracerebral haemorrhage patients.Jingyi Liu Ximing Nie Hongqiu Gu Qi Zhou Haixin Sun Ying Tan Dacheng Liu Lina Zheng Jiahui Zhao Yan Wang Yibin Cao Haomeng Zhu Yunpeng Zhang Lijin Yi Yuehua Pu Miao Wen Zhonghua Yang Shengjun Sun Wenzhi Wang Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Yongjun Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:3

13Numerical study of a supercritical airfoil/wing with variable-camber technology显示文摘Variable-camber technology is considered an effective way to adaptively improve the aerodynamic performance of aircraft under various flight conditions.This paper studies the aerodynamic characteristics of the trailing-edge variable-camber technology by means of Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)and a drag decomposition method.Trailing-edge variable-camber technology can be simply realized by the continuous deflection of the flaps and ailerons of a wing.A supercritical airfoil is used to study the two-dimensional effect of variable-camber technology,and a wide-body airplane model is used to validate the three-dimensional improvement in the wing’s airfoil made by variable-camber technology.An optimization strategy for airfoil that incorporates variable-camber technology is proposed.The optimization results demonstrate that the proposed method can obtain better results than the traditional segregated shape optimization.Wei NIU Yufei ZHANG Haixin CHEN Miao ZHANG 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,7:3

17An iterative data-driven turbulence modeling framework based on Reynolds stress representation显示文摘Data-driven turbulence modeling studies have reached such a stage that the basic framework is settled,but several essential issues remain that strongly affect the performance.Two problems are studied in the current research:(1)the processing of the Reynolds stress tensor and(2)the coupling method between the machine learning model and flow solver.For the Reynolds stress processing issue,we perform the theoretical derivation to extend the relevant tensor arguments of Reynolds stress.Then,the tensor representation theorem is employed to give the complete irreducible invariants and integrity basis.An adaptive regularization term is employed to enhance the representation performance.For the coupling issue,an iterative coupling framework with consistent convergence is proposed and then applied to a canonical separated flow.The results have high consistency with the direct numerical simulation true values,which proves the validity of the current approach.Yuhui Yin Zhi Shen Yufei Zhang Haixin Chena Song Fu 2022Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Letters2022,12,5:1
18Structure optimization of connection frames based on frequency sensitivity in macro-micro motion platforms显示文摘High-performance connection frames are of great significance for ultra-high acceleration and ultra-precision positioning in macro-micro motion platforms. This paper first takes the connection frame as a research object,builds a finite element model(FEM) of the natural frequency of the frame, and then verifies the correctness of this model. The frequency sensitivity method is then used to perturb the structural parameters of the FEM of the connection frame, and the sensitivities of the first-order natural frequency and mass of the corresponding structural parameters are obtained by calculation and analysis. The design variables are also determined. The natural frequency is used as the optimization objective, and the design parameters and mass of the connection frame are constrained. The structural parameters of the connecting frame are obtained through optimization, and the model is built and verified by experiments. The results show that the first-order natural frequency of the connecting frame is effectively improved by the frequency sensitivity method, avoids resonance between the connecting frame and the voice coil motor, and realizes the lightweight design of the connection frame.
