| 1 | Broadband achromatic metalens in terahertz regime显示文摘Achromatic focusing is essential for broadband operation, which has recently been realised from visible to infrared wavelengths using a metasurface. Similarly, multi-terahertz functional devices can be encoded in a desired metasurface phase profile. However, metalenses suffer from larger chromatic aberrations because of the intrinsic dispersion of each unit element. Here, we propose an achromatic metalens with C-shaped unit elements working from 0.3 to 0.8 THz with a bandwidth of approximately 91% over the centre frequency. The designed metalens possesses a high working efficiency of more than 68% at the peak and a relatively high numerical aperture of 0.385. We further demonstrate the robustness of our Cshaped metalens, considering lateral shape deformations and deviations in the etching depth. | 2 | Challenges of 22 nm and beyond CMOS technology显示文摘It is predicted that CMOS technology will probably enter into 22 nm node around 2012. Scaling of CMOS logic technology from 32 to 22 nm node meets more critical issues and needs some significant changes of the technology, as well as integration of the advanced processes. | 3 | Atomistic Surface Passivation of CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3) Perovskite Single Crystals for Highly Sensitive Coplanar-Structure X-Ray Detectors显示文摘Organic-inorganic halide perovskites(OIHPs)are recognized as the promising next-generation X-ray detection materials.However,the device performance is largely limited by the ion migration issue of OIHPs.Here,we reported a simple atomistic surface passivation strategy with methylammonium iodide(MAI)to remarkably increase the ion migration activation energy of CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)single crystals.The amount of MAI deposited on the crystal surface is finely regulated by a self-assemble process to effectively suppress the metallic lead defects,while not introducing extra mobile ions,which results in significantly improved dark current stability of the coplanar-structure devices under a large electric field of 100Vmm^(-1).The X-ray detectors hence exhibit a record-high sensitivity above 700,000μC Gy^(-1)_(air) cm^(-2)under continuum X-ray irradiation with energy up to 50 keV,which enables an ultralow X-ray detection limit down to 1.5 nGy_(air)s^(-1).Our findings will allow for the dramatically reduced X-ray exposure of human bodies in medical imaging applications. | Yilong Song Liqi Li Weihui Bi Mingwei Hao Yifei Kang Anran Wang Zisheng Wang Hanming Li Xiaohui Li Yanjun Fang Deren Yang Qingfeng Dong | 2020 | Research2020,,1: | 5 |
| 4 | (N,F)-codoped TiO_2 Nanocrystals as Visible Light-activated Photocatalyst显示文摘(N, F)-codoped anatase TiO2 nanocrystals with active visible light response were prepared by using a simple sol-gel approach. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements suggested that the substitutional N and F species replaced the lattice oxygen atoms in TiO2 nanocrystals. Such nanocrystals showed strong absorption from 400 to 550 nm, which was mainly induced by nitrogen doping. The phase transformation from anatase to rutile was hindered by fluorine doping at high calcination temperatures, which was verified by XRD patterns. The N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms revealed the absence of mesopores in these nanocrystals. | 5 | Study of hot electrons generated from intense laser-plasma interaction employing Image Plate显示文摘Image Plate (IP) is convenient to be used and very suitable for radiation detection because of its advantages such as wide dynamic range, high detective quantum efficiency, ultrahigh sensitivity and superior linearity. The function mechanism and characteristics of IP are introduced in this paper. IP was employed in the study of hot electrons generated from intense laser-plasma interaction. The angular distri- bution and energy spectrum of hot electrons were measured with IP in the experi- ments. | 7 | Boron difluoride formazanate dye for high-efficiency NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence imaging-guided cancer photothermal therapy显示文摘The small molecular second near-infrared(NIR-Ⅱ, 1000–1700 nm) dye-based nanotheranostics can concurrently combine deep-tissue photodiagnosis with in situ phototherapy, which occupies a vital position in the early detection and precise treatment of tumors. However, the development of small molecular NIR-Ⅱ dyes is still challenging due to the limited electron acceptors and cumbersome synthetic routes.Herein, we report a novel molecular electron acceptor, boron difluoride formazanate(BDF). Based on BDF, a new small molecular NIR-Ⅱ dye BDF1005 is designed and synthesized with strong NIR-I absorption at 768 nm and bright NIR-Ⅱ peak emission at 1034 nm. In vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrate that BDF1005-based nanotheranostics can be applied for NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence imaging-guided photothermal therapy of 4T1 tumor-bearing mice. Under 808 nm laser irradiation, tumor growth can be effectively inhibited. | 8 | AQR is a novel type 2 diabetes-associated gene that regulates signaling pathways critical for glucose metabolism显示文摘Type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2 DM) is a common metabolic disease influenced by both genetic and environmental factors. In this study, we performed an in-house genotyping and meta-analysis study using three independent GWAS datasets of T2 DM and found that rs3743121, located 1 kb downstream of AQR,was a novel susceptibility SNP associated with T2 DM. The risk allele C of rs3743121 was correlated with the increased expression of AQR in white blood cells, similar to that observed in T2 DM models. The knockdown of AQR in HepG2 facilitated the glucose uptake, decreased the expression level of PCK2,increased the phosphorylation of GSK-3β, and restored the insulin sensitivity. Furthermore, the suppression of AQR inhibited the mTOR pathway and the protein ubiquitination process. | 20 | Parametric Study of Operating Conditions on Performances of a Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cell显示文摘The operating conditions greatly affect the electrolysis performance and temperature distribution of solid oxide electrolysis cells(SOECs).However,the temperature distribution in a cell is hard to determine by experiments due to the limitations of in-situ measurement methods.In this study,an electrochemical-flow-thermal coupling numerical cell model is established and verified by both current-voltage curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)results.The electrolysis performance and temperature distribution under different working conditions are numerically analyzed,including operating temperature,steam and hydrogen partial pressures in the fuel gas,inlet flow rate and inlet temperature of fuel gas.The results show that the electrolysis performance improves with increasing operating temperature.Increasing steam partial pressure improves electrolysis performance and temperature distribution uniformity,but decreases steam conversion rate.An inappropriately low hydrogen partial pressure reduces the diffusion ability of fuel gas mixture and increases concentration impedance.Although increasing the flow rate of fuel gas improves electrolysis performance,it also reduces temperature distribution uniformity.A lower airflow rate benefits temperature distribution uniformity.The inlet temperature of fuel gas has little influence on electrolysis performance.In order to obtain a more uniform temperature distribution,it is more important to preheat the air than the fuel gas. | CHEN Hanming WANG Jingyi XU Xinhai | 2023 | Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,6: | 0 |
