| 1 | Immunodiagnostic efficacy of detection of Schistosoma japonicum human infections in China:a meta analysis显示文摘Objective:To assess the diagnostic efficacy of the currently most widely used indirect hemagglutination assay(IHA) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) for detection of Schistosoma japonicum human infections.Methods:A comprehensive search was undertaken from China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database.VIP Database,PubMed. Cochrane Library,Science Citation Index Expanded.Proquest,and the inclusion and exclusion criteria were strictly settled.The funnel plot was used to assess the publication bias.Cochran’s Q test was employed to measure the homogeneity between studies,a summary receiver operating characteristic(SROC) curve was used to compare the diagnostic accuracy between the IHA and ELISA qualitatively by means of the Weighted Least Square method,the Ordinary Least Square method and the Robust regression method,and the diagnostic odds ratio(DOR) was drawn to compare the accuracy quantitatively.Results:Out of 785 publications,19 papers were eventually selected for analysis.Literature finality assessment indicated that minor publication bias existed in studies pertaining IHA test,but no bias was found in literatures regarding ELISA test.The heterogeneity test showed a heterogeneity between studies was present(χ~2 =466.07 and 34.67. both P values<0.0001).The areas under the SROC curves of IHA were all higher than that of ELISA test using the three methods(Weighted Least Square method:0.766 vs.0.695.Ordinary Least Square method:0.826 vs.0.741.Robust regression:0.815 vs.0.715).The TPR* values for IHA and EUSA were 0.710.0.759.0.749.and 0.650.0.686 and 0.666.respectively,and OR values were 5.997.9.937.8.893.and 3.432.4.784 and 3.959.respectively.The DOR of IHA was 9.41(95% CI:4.88-18.18).and 4.78(95%CI:3.21-7.13) for ELISA.Conclusions:All above results revealed that the diagnostic performance of IHA is better than that of ELISA.However,taking into account their unsatisfactory diagnostic value in areas with low infection intensity,a search for a better diagnostic test that can be applied in field situations in China should be given high priority. | Wei Wang Youzi Li Hongjun Li Yuntian Xing Guoli Qu Jianrong Dai Yousheng Liang | 2012 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2012,5,1: | 4 |
| 2 | Pathological features of COVID-19-associated lung injury:a preliminary proteomics report based on clinical samples显示文摘The COVID-19 pandemic has emerged as a global health emergency due to its association with severe pneumonia and relative high mortality.However,the molecular characteristics and pathological features underlying COVID-19 pneumonia remain largely unknown.To characterize molecular mechanisms underlying COVID-19 pathogenesis in the lung tissue using a proteomic approach,fresh lung tissues were obtained from newly deceased patients with COVID-19 pneumonia.After virus inactivation,a quantitative proteomic approach combined with bioinformatics analysis was used to detect proteomic changes in the SARS-CoV-2-infected lung tissues.We identified significant differentially expressed proteins involved in a variety of fundamental biological processes including cellular metabolism,blood coagulation,immune response,angiogenesis,and cell microenvironment regulation.Several inflammatory factors were upregulated,which was possibly caused by the activation of NF-κB signaling.Extensive dysregulation of the lung proteome in response to SARS-CoV-2 infection was discovered.Our results systematically outlined the molecular pathological features in terms of the lung response to SARS-CoV-2 infection,and provided the scientific basis for the therapeutic target that is urgently needed to control the COVID-19 pandemic. | Ling Leng Ruiyuan Cao Jie Ma Danlei Mou Yunping Zhu Wei Li Luye Lv Dunqin Gao Shikun Zhang Feng Gong Lei Zhao Bintao Qiu Haiping Xiang Zhongjie Hu Yingmei Feng Yan Dai Jiang Zhao Zhihong Wu Hongjun Li Wu Zhong | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 4 |
| 3 | Calculation and decomposition of regional household energy consumption in China:based on perspectives of urbanization and residents' consumption显示文摘Demographic urbanization caused great changes in scale of residents' consumption and residents' lifestyle and then impacted changes of regional household energy consumption. This paper expanded Logarithmic Mean Decomposition Index method through introducing variables of urbanization and residential consumption into the model. It also analyzed the influences of six factors as energy structure, energy intensity, population scale, urbanization, residential consumption, and consumption inhibit on regional household energy consumption. Results showed that in 2003-2012, impact of urbanization on regional household energy consumption of Chinese three areas was significantly higher than population size. The 'population gathered in eastern region' phenomenon caused eastern region getting the largest population scale effect. Driving force of residential consumption on regional household energy consumption was much higher than the other five effects. Due to the comparative advantage of residential consumption compared with government consumption, investment, and net export, the decrease of consumption ratio promoted the growth of regional household energy consumption. Energy intensity in Chinese three regions kept reducing in 2003-2012. | 10 | Chemical Quenching and Inhibition of Positronium in Cr_2O_3/Al_2O_3 Catalysts显示文摘The pore structure of Cr2O3/Al2O3 catalysts and the surface chemical properties of these pores were characterized by positron lifetime and coincidence Doppler broadening (CDB) measurements. Four lifetime components could be resolved from the positron lifetime spectrum, with two long lifetime components and two short lifetime components. The two long lifetimes τ4 and τ3 are attributed to ortho-positronium (o-Ps) annihilation in large pores and microvoids, respectively. With increasing Cr2O3 content, both τ4 and its intensity I4 show sharp decrease, while τ3 and its intensity I3 keep nearly unchanged. The Doppler broadening S parameters also show sharp decrease with increasing Cr2O3 content. Detailed analysis of the CDB spectrum reveals that the parapositronium (p-Ps) intensity also decreases with increasing Cr2O3 content. This indicates that the change of o-Ps lifetime τ4 is due to the chemical quenching by Cr2O3 but not spin-conversion of positronium.
