1Late Carboniferous to early Permian sedimentaryetectonic evolution of the north of Alxa, Inner Mongolia, China: Evidence from the Amushan Formation显示文摘The late Paleozoic evolution of the Wulijishanhen(WSH)-Shangdan(SD) area near to the Chaganchulu Ophiolite belt is reinterpreted. Analysis of the upper Carboniferous to lower Permian sedimentary sequence, biological associations, detrital materials, sandstone geochemistry and volcanic rocks indicates that the SD area was an epicontinental sea and rift during the late Paleozoic rather than a large-scale ocean undergoing spreading and closure. This study reveals that the actual evolution of the study area is from the late Carboniferous to the early Permian. The fusulinids Triticites sp. and Pseudoschwagerina sp.in the limestones demonstrate that the Amushan Formation develops during the late Carboniferous to the early Permian. The limestones at the base of the SD section indicate that it is a stable carbonate platform environment, the volcanic rocks in the middle of the sequence support a rift tectonic background, and the overlying conglomerates and sandstones are characteristic of an epicontinental sea or marine molasse setting. The rift volcanism made the differences in the fossil content of the SD and WSH sections and led to two sections expose different levels within the Amushan Formation and different process of tectonic evolution. Moreover, the geochemical characteristics and detrital materials of the sandstones show that the provenance and formation of the sandstones were related to the setting of active continental margin. The quartz-feldspar-lithic fragments distribution diagram indicates that the material source for the sandstones was a recycled orogenic belt. Thus, the source area of the sandstones may have been an active continental margin before the late Carboniferouseearly Permian. 2Dynamic linear calibration method for a wide range neutron flux monitor system in ITER显示文摘As a key part of the diagnosis system in the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor(ITER),the neutron flux monitor(NFM),which measures the neutron intensity of the fusion reaction,is a Counting-Campbelling system with a large dynamic counting range.A dynamic linear calibration method is proposed in this paper to solve the problem of cross-over between the different counting and Campbelling channels,and improve the accuracy of the cross-calibration for long-term operation.The experimental results show that the NFM system with the dynamic linear calibration system can obtain the neutron flux of the fusion reactor in real time and realize the seamless measurement area connection between the two channels.LI Shiping XU Xiufeng CAO Hongrui YANG Qingwei YIN Zejie 2013Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,4:3
3A Fast Calculation Method for Long-term Security-constrained Unit Commitment of Large-scale Power Systems with Renewable Energy显示文摘With the increase in the penetration rate of renewable energy, the planning and operation of power systems will face huge challenges. To ensure the sufficient utilization of renewable energy, the reasonable arrangement for the long-term power generation plan has become more crucial. Security-constrained unit commitment(SCUC) is a critical technical means to optimize the long-term power generation plan. However, the plentiful power sources and the complex grid structure in largescale power systems will bring great difficulties to long-term SCUC. In this paper, we propose a fast calculation method for long-term SCUC of large-scale power systems with renewable energy. First, a method for unit status reduction based on temporal decomposition is proposed, which will reduce plenty of binary variables and intertemporal constraints in SCUC. Then,an efficient redundant constraint identification(RCI) method is developed to reduce the number of network constraints. Furthermore, a joint accelerated calculation framework for status reduction and RCI is formed, which can reduce the complexity of long-term SCUC while ensuring a high-precision feasible solution. 4An automatic gain adjustment Campbell integrator for neutron flux detection in ITER显示文摘Neutron Flux Monitor, a key diagnostic system in International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, may provide for reading a series of important parameters in fusion reaction process. We designed an important part of its main electronic system - Automatic Gain Adjustment Campbell Integrator (AGACI), expanding the detecting neutron counting rate of 104-108 cps (counts per second). The total gain of AGACI in five files is divided into 1, 10, 100, 1000, and 10 000 times, and can be automatically adjusted. 5Solubility of the silver nitrate in supercritical carbon dioxide with ethanol and ethylene glycol as double cosolvents: Experimental determination and correlation显示文摘Solubility of the silver nitrate in the supercritical carbon dioxide containing ethanol and ethylene glycol as double cosolvents was measured under certain pressure and temperature range(10–25 MPa, 323.15–333.15 K). The impact of the pressure and temperature on the solubility was also investigated. Based on the experiment data,a correlation model concerning solid's solubility in supercritical fluids was established by combining the solubility parameter with the thermodynamic equation when a binary interaction parameter and a mixed solvent solubility parameter were defined. Experiments show the solubility of AgNO_3 increases with the pressure at a certain temperature. However, the influence of temperature is related to a pressure defined as the turnover pressure(12.3 MPa). When the pressure is higher(or lower) than this turnover pressure, silver nitrate's solubility shows increasing(or decreasing) trend as the temperature rises. 6Simulation and calibration of the response function of multi-sphere neutron spectrometer显示文摘In order to realize the on-line real-time measurement of neutron spectrum of ITER fusion,this paper presents a multi-sphere spectrometer system which consists of eight thermal neutron detectors,namely SP9 3He proportional counter,embedded in eight different diameter polyethylene spheres.The response function of eight polyethylene spheres of multi-sphere neutron spectrometer was calculated after the simulation of the neutron transport processes in multi-sphere spectrometer by adopting software Geant4.The peak of the response function is in the low energy region for smaller diameter polyethylene sphere.As the polyethylene sphere diameter increased,the peak of the response function moves to the high energy region.The experimental calibration adopts 241Am-Be neutron source.The relative error between normalized data of experiment 4πsolid angle counts and normalized data of simulated detection efficiency of 4in to 8in polyethylene sphere is from 1.152%to 12.222%.The experimental results verify the response function of the simulation.All these results provide a theoretical and experimental basis for solving the on-line real-time neutron spectrum of ITER fusion.JIANG Xiaofei CHEN Chao CAO Jing CAO Hongrui LI Shiping SONG Xianying YIN Zejie 2013Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,6:0
