1Characterization of Iron Grains near the P/T Boundary in the Meishan Section of China显示文摘The Meishan section of China has been confirmed as the “Global Stratotype Section and Point” of the P/T boundary. In the section, the authors found several types of iron grains, including pyrite, pure iron grains and goethite. From the research of macro minerals, it is easy to find that the grains rich in iron appear from the bottom of the event layer of the section. In other words, it is probably residue of the geochemical catastrophe of that time. Therefore, it is important to trace the source of these iron grains and their relationships, which probably provides evidence for volcanic eruption or impact-volcanoes and has directive significance to the crisis during the P/T transitional period. 8Noninvasive in vivo study of NADH fluorescence and its real-time intrinsic dynamical changes: Experiments and seven-layered skin model Monte Carlo simulations显示文摘Reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH)plays a crucial role in many biochemical reactions in human metabolism.In this work,a flow-mediated skin fluorescence(FMSF)-postocclusion reactive hyperaemia(PORH)system was developed for noninvasive and in vivo measurement of NADH fluorescence and its real-time dynamical changes in human skin tissue.The real-time dynamical changes of NADH fluorescence were analyzed with the changes of skin blood flow measured by laser speckle contrast imaging(LSCI)experiments simultaneously with FMSFPORH measurements,which suggests that the dynamical changes of NADH fluorescence would be mainly correlated with the intrinsic changes of NADH level in the skin tissue.In addition,Monte Carlo simulations were applied to understand the impact of optical property changes on the dynamical changes of NADH fluorescence during the PORH process,which further supports that the dynamical changes of NADH fluorescence measured in our system would be intrinsic changes of NADH level in the skin tissue.Huayi Hou Gongzhi Du Yuancheng Wang Chunping Su Lianbo Guo Xiangbai Chen 2022Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2022,15,3:0
9RGBD Salient Object Detection by Structured Low-Rank Matrix Recovery and Laplacian Constraint显示文摘A structured low-rank matrix recovery model for RGBD salient object detection is proposed. Firstly, the problem is described by a low-rank matrix recovery, and the hierarchical structure of RGB image is added to the sparsity term. Secondly, the depth information is fused into the model by a Laplacian regularization term to ensure that the image regions which share similar depth value will be allocated to similar saliency value. Thirdly, a variation of alternating direction method is proposed to solve the proposed model.
