Guidelines on multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and management of diabetic foot disease(2020 edition)显示文摘In recent years,as living standards have continued to improve, the number of diabetes patients in China, along with the incidence of complications associated with the disease, has been increasing.Among these complications, diabetic foot disease is one of the main causes of disability and death in diabetic patients.Due to the differences in economy, culture, religion and level of medical care available across different regions, preventive and treatment methods and curative results for diabetic foot vary greatly. In multidisciplinary models built around diabetic foot, the timely assessment and diagnosis of wounds and appropriate methods of prevention and treatment with internal and external surgery are key to clinical practice for this pathology. In 2019,under the leadership of the Jiangsu Medical Association and Chinese Diabetes Society, the writing group for the Guidelines on multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and management of diabetic foot disease(2020 edition)was established with the participation of scholars from the specialist areas of endocrinology, burn injury, vascular surgery, orthopedics, foot and ankle surgery and cardiology.Drawing lessons from diabetic foot guidelines from other countries, this guide analyses clinical practices for diabetic foot, queries the theoretical basis and grades and gives recommendations based on the characteristics of the pathology in China. This paper begins with assessments and diagnoses of diabetic foot, then describes treatments for diabetic foot in detail, and ends with protections for high-risk feet and the prevention of ulcers. This manuscript covers the disciplines of internal medicine, surgical, nursing and rehabilitation and describes a total of 50 recommendations that we hope will provide procedures and protocols for clinicians dealing with diabetic foot. | Aiping Wang Guozhong Lv Xingbo Cheng Xianghua Ma Wei Wang Jianchao Gui JiHu Meng Lu Guoping Chu Jin’an Chen Hao Zhang Yiqiu Jiang Yuedong Chen Wengbo Yang Lin Jiang Houfa Geng Rendong Zheng Yihui Li Wei Feng Boey Johnson Wenjuan Wang Dalong Zhu Yin Hu | 2020 | Burns & Trauma2020,8,1: | 34
Study and Application of Mold Filling Simulation of Shaped Castings显示文摘In this paper, an algorithm for simulating fluid flow and heat transfer for mold filling of shaped castings is presented. The main features of the algorithm include: 1) a simple but practical technique based on VOF method to determine free surface, 2) an explicit scheme of enthalpy to solve the energy equation more efficiently, and 3) an effective treatment to modify the flux deviation due to pressure iteration. In order to verify these methods, well controlled experiments have been repeatedly done with both water analog and gray iron pouring experiments to record the flow patterns and temperature variations. The calculated results are in accordance with the experimental ones. For the applications, the simulated initial temperature distribution right after mold filling was used to analyse subsequent solidification and to predict shrinkage defects.Actual castings were poured and tested in a foundry plant. The reuslts show that the defects predication with considering fluid flow effects is more precise than that without considering the effects. | Baicheng LIU Wei QIU Houfa SHEN Zhiqiang GAO (Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University Beijing 100084, China) | 1997 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology1997,13,2: | 5
Numerical simulation on multiple pouring process for a 292 t steel ingot显示文摘A ladle-tundish-mould transportation model considering the entire multiple pouring(MP) process is proposed. Numerical simulation is carried out to study the carbon distribution and variation in both the tundish and the mould for making a 292 t steel ingot. Firstly, the fluid flow as well as the heat and mass transfer of the molten steel in the tundish is simulated based on the multiphase transient turbulence model. Then, the carbon mixing in the mould is calculated by using the species concentration at the tundish outlet as the inlet condition during the teeming process. The results show a high concentration of carbon at the bottom and a low concentration of carbon at the top of the mould after a MP process with carbon content high in the first ladle and low in the last ladle. Such carbon concentration distribution would help reduce the negative segregation at the bottom and the positive segregation at the top of the solidified ingot. | Tu Wutao Zhang Xiong Shen Houfa Liu Baicheng | 2014 | China Foundry2014,11,1: | 4
Analysis of solute redistribution and centerline segregation in continuously cast thin slab显示文摘1 .Introduction Macro-segregation is induced by the solute redistributionnear the solidification interface and it is affected by thefluid flow in the mushy zone. Centerline segregation oftenformed in continuous casting strands along the castingdirection, so the property uniformity of products isseverely destroyed. | Changwen MA, ~*Houfa SHEN, Tianyou HUANG, Baicheng LIU (Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing iooo84, P. | 6 | Modeling of Mold Filling and Solidification in Lost Foam Casting显示文摘Based on the characteristics of the lost foam casting (LFC) and the artificial neural network technique, a mathematicalmodel for the simulation of the melt-pattern interface movement during the mold filling of LFC has been proposed andexperimentally verified. The simulation results are consistent with the experiments in both the shapes of melt frontand filling sequences. According to the calculated interface locations, the fluid flow and the temperature distributionsduring the mold filling and solidification processes were calculated, and the shrinkage defect of a lost foam ductileiron casting was predicted by considering the mold wall movement in LFC. The simulation method was applied tooptimize the casting design of lost foam ductile iron castings. It is shown that the model can be used for the defectsprediction and for casting design optimization in the practical LFC production. | Fengjun LI, Houfa SHEN and Baicheng LIUDepartment of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing 100084, China | 2003 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2003,19,5: | 1

A response to numerical benchmark for solidification of binary alloys: macro-segregation with thermo-solutal convection显示文摘As a necessary step toward the quantitative predictions of macro-segregation commonly found in metal castings, classical experiments and numerical benchmarks have been used to validate a simplified binary- alloy solidification model. The model consists of fully coupled conservation equations for the transport phenomena (heat transfer, solute redistribution, and melt convection)that lead to macro-segregation in a solidifying ingot with a fixed solid phase.Simulations were performed for solidification of either a Pb-48wt.%Sn or a Sn-5wt.%Pb alloy in a rectangular cavity. The present predictions were compared with experimental data and numerical reference results reported in the literature.Subsequently, the model was applied to a numerical benchmark problem described in the literature for solidification of a Sn-10wt.%Pb alloy.Simulation results for flow velocity, liquid fraction evolution, and macro-segregation maps also were compared with literature predictions, showing similar trends. It is concluded that additional comparisons to experimental results are still required to assess more complex solidification models. | Li Wensheng Shen Houfa Liu Baicheng | 2012 | China Foundry2012,9,2: | 1

Wetting behavior of CaO-Al_(2)O_(3)-based mold flux with various BaO and MgO contents on the steel substrate显示文摘The Interfacial phenomena in mold have a great impact on the smooth operation of continuous casting process and the quality of the casting product. In this paper, the wetting behavior of CaO-Al_(2)O_(3)-based mold flux with different BaO and MgO contents was studied. The results showed that the contact angle between molten flux and interstitial free(IF)steel substrate increased from 62.4°to 74.5°with the increase of BaO content from 3 wt%to 7 wt%,while it decreased from 62.4°to 51.3°with the increase of MgO content from 3 wt%to 7 wt%.The interfacial tension also increased from 1630.3 to 1740.8 mN/m when the BaO content increased, but it reduced from 1630.3 to 1539.7 mN/m with the addition of MgO.The changes of contact angle and interfacial tension were mainly due to the fact that the bridging oxygen(O^(0)) at the interface was broken into non-bridging oxygen(O^(-)) and free oxygen(O_(2-)) by MgO.However, more O^(-) and O_(2-) connected into O^(0) when BaO was added, since the charge compensation effect of BaO was so stronger that it offset the effect of providing O_(2-). | Lejun Zhou Hao Luo Wanlin Wang Houfa Wu Erzhuo Gao You Zhou Daoyuan Huang | 2022 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,6: | 0
Modelling of Level Fluctuation in Continuous Casting显示文摘The free surface profile and fluid flow in the mold of continuous casting have been calculated by the VOF method couplingthe SIMPLER algorithm. The SIMPLER-VOF model developed is validated by solving a classical experiment, broken damproblem. The calculated surface profile is consistent with water modelling. It is found that the free surface profile is coherentlyrelated to the position of circumfluence in the mold of continuous casting. With the increase of nozzle port inclination, thepositive vortex above the jet is near to the meniscus and the level fluctuation becomes prominent. | Xiao LIU Huanxin ZHANG Rongjun XU Yongquan LI Houfa SHEN Baicheng LIU | 2003 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2003,19,z1: | 0
Runoff Modeling in Ungauged Catchments Using Machine Learning Algorithm-Based Model Parameters Regionalization Methodology显示文摘Model parameters estimation is a pivotal issue for runoff modeling in ungauged catchments. The nonlinear relationship between model parameters and catchment descriptors is a major obstacle for parameter regionalization, which is the most widely used approach.Runoff modeling was studied in 38 catchments located in the Yellow–Huai–Hai River Basin(YHHRB).The values of the Nash–Sutcliffe efficiency coefficient(NSE),coefficient of determination(R2),and percent bias(PBIAS)indicated the acceptable performance of the soil and water assessment tool(SWAT)model in the YHHRB.Nine descriptors belonging to the categories of climate, soil, vegetation, and topography were used to express the catchment characteristics related to the hydrological processes. The quantitative relationships between the parameters of the SWAT model and the catchment descriptors were analyzed by six regression-based models, including linear regression(LR)equations, support vector regression(SVR),random forest(RF),k-nearest neighbor(kNN),decision tree(DT),and radial basis function(RBF).Each of the 38 catchments was assumed to be an ungauged catchment in turn. Then, the parameters in each target catchment were estimated by the constructed regression models based on the remaining 37 donor catchments.Furthermore, the similaritybased regionalization scheme was used for comparison with the regression-based approach. The results indicated that the runoff with the highest accuracy was modeled by the SVR-based scheme in ungauged catchments.Compared with the traditional LR-based approach, the accuracy of the runoff modeling in ungauged catchments was improved by the machine learning algorithms because of the outstanding capability to deal with nonlinear relationships. The performances of different approaches were similar in humid regions, while the advantages of the machine learning techniques were more evident in arid regions. When the study area contained nested catchments, the best result was calculated with the similarity-based parameter regionalization scheme because of the high catchment density and short spatial distance. The new findings could improve flood forecasting and water resources planning in regions that lack observed data. | Houfa Wu Jianyun Zhang Zhenxin Bao Guoqing Wang Wensheng Wang Yanqing Yang Jie Wang | 2023 | Engineering2023,,9: | 0
