| 1 | Multi-mode diagnosis of a gas turbine engine using an adaptive neuro-fuzzy system显示文摘Gas Turbine Engines(GTEs) are vastly used for generation of mechanical power in a wide range of applications from airplane propulsion systems to stationary power plants.The gaspath components of a GTE are exposed to harsh operating and ambient conditions, leading to several degradation mechanisms.Because GTE components are mostly inaccessible for direct measurements and their degradation levels must be inferred from the measurements of accessible parameters, it is a challenge to acquire reliable information on the degradation conditions of the parts in different fault modes.In this work, a data-driven fault detection and degradation estimation scheme is developed for GTE diagnostics based on an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System(ANFIS).To verify the performance and accuracy of the developed diagnostic framework on GTE data, an ensemble of measurable gas path parameters has been generated by a high-fidelity GTE model under(a) diverse ambient conditions and control settings,(b) every possible combination of degradation symptoms, and(c) a broad range of signal to noise ratios.The results prove the competency of the developed framework in fault diagnostics and reveal the sensitivity of diagnostic results to measurement noise for different degradation symptoms. | Houman HANACHI Jie LIU Christopher MECHEFSKE | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018，31，1： | 5 |
| 2 | A review on dural tail sign显示文摘'Dural tail sign' (DTS) which is a thickening of the dura adjacent to an intracranial pathology on contrast-enhanced T1 MR Images, was first thought to be pathognomonic of meningioma, however, many subsequent studies demonstrated this sign adjacent to various intra and extra-cranial pathologies and in spinal lesions. In this paper we outline the history, accompanying pathologies and the differentiation and probable pathophysiology of DTS. | 3 | Scenario-based estimation of catchment carbon storage: linking multi-objective land allocation with InVEST model in a mixed agriculture-forest landscape显示文摘This study performed a scenario-based land allocation in a mixed agriculture-forest landscape in northern Iran to investigate how different land use policies contribute to changes in carbon storage.In pursuit of this goal,a temporal profile of the trade-off between the region’s land use land cover(LULC)classes was produced using Landsat image of the year 2016.The weighted linear combination procedure was also used to map the suitability of land for agriculture,forest,urban,and rangeland based on ecological and socio-economic criteria.The suitability maps were analyzed through the Multi-Objective Land Allocation procedure under five scenarios with differing areas devoted to each LULC to generate different patterns of LULC distribution in the region.In addition,the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs(InVEST)model was used to estimate the potential of LULC classes in carbon storage.The amount of carbon storage differed significantly between the scenarios,ranging from 1.29 tons/ha/year when the majority of the land was devoted to agriculture(76%of the area)to 5.40 tons/ha/year when the landscape was dominated by forest(77%of the area).The extreme conditions presented in this research may not be as likely to occur,but opens a dialog between different stakeholders and informs of a probable trend of ecosystem service loss due to agricultural land expansion. | Rahmatollah Niakan Lahiji Naghmeh Mobarghaee Dinan Houman Liaghati Hamidreza Ghaffarzadeh Alireza Vafaeinejad | 2020 | Frontiers of Earth Science2020，14，3： | 2 |
