2The blooming intersection of transcatheter hepatic artery chemoembolization and nanomedicine显示文摘Transcatheter hepatic artery chemoembolization(TACE)is a universal treatment for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)that inhibits tumor growth by cutting off the blood supply and provides chemotherapeutics locally to the tumor.The strategy of combining TACE formulation with image-guided ablation holds tremendous potential,but patient tolerance and undesired toxicity/immunosuppression remains a challenge.The application of nanotechnology in TACE opens new doors for the treatment of HCC.Strikingly,nanomaterials or nano-drugs dispersed in the TACE formulation can effectively improve the delivery efficiency of drugs by achieving both controlled and continuous release.In addition,the utilization of multifunctional nanoparticles can provide guidance and monitoring for various advanced imaging methods for TACE treatment,and can realize the combination therapy of thermal ablation,microwave ablation,in situ radiotherapy,and other therapies,greatly expanding the therapeutic strategies available for HCC treatment.Here,the current exploration of nanotechnology in TACE of HCC is briefly summarized and the challenges of TACE with nanoformulations for clinical translation are comprehensively discussed.Hu Chen Hongwei Cheng Wenying Wu Dengfeng Li Jingsong Mao Chengchao Chu Gang Liu 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,6:4

4Effect of nano-TiC dopant size on magnetic properties and corrosion resistance of hot-deformed NdFeB显示文摘Effects of dopant size on the magnetic properties and corrosion behavior of hot-deformed NdFeB with the intergranular additions of nano-TiC were investigated using X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectrometer(XPS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),electrochemical and magnetic measurement technologies.Additions of 50 nm-TiC,unlike 30 nm- and 40 nm-TiC,are found to increase the magnetic energy product and comprehensive magnetic properties,due in main to the improvement of magnet orientation by more strip-shaped Nd-rich phases.Nano-TiC dopants especially with a size of40 nm can increase the electrochemical corrosion resistance of magnets.It is attributed to the hindrance of additives on the reaction channel formation and their barrier effect on the oxidations of Nd and Fe.For 40 nm-TiC doped magnet,the charge transfer resistance in electric double layer structure reaches 15000 Ω·cm^(2) that is one order of magnitude higher than other cases,which is responsible for the lowe st corrosion current density and accordingly the best anti-corrosion properties.Xiaoqiang Li Jian Li Kai Xu Zhiwei Wang Yu Bian Yuxuan Shao Chengchao Hu Junjie Ni 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,6:1
5Structural and Piezoelectric Properties of Sr_(0.6)Ba_(0.4)Nb_2O_6 Micro-rods Synthesized by Molten-Salt Method显示文摘Sr0.6 Ba0.4 Nb2 O6 micro-rods are prepared by the molten-salt method with K2 SO4,KCl-K2 SO4,and KCl as fluxes.It reveals that the Sr0.6 Ba0.4 Nb2 O6 synthesized with KCl as a flux exhibits a single phase with tetragonal tungsten bronze structure.The measurement of X-ray diffraction indicates that the Sr0.6 Ba0.4 Nb2 O6 micro-rods synthesized at 1 300℃are anisotropic.The morphology of the powers is examined by transmission electron microscope.It reveals that the length-diameter ratio of Sr0.6 Ba0.4 Nb2 O6 micro-rods increases with increasing annealing temperature from 900℃to 1 300℃.At 1 300℃,the rod possesses a large length-diameter ratio of 8∶1.Moreover,the analysis of the piezoelectric properties of single micro-rods using apiezo-response force microscope indicates that the domains of the material are arranged along its radial direction.Zhang Guangbin Hu Chengchao Shi Yangguang Shi Daning 2018Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2018,35,3:0
6Large electrostrictive effect and strong photoluminescence properties in Sm_(2)O_(3)-modified lead-free potassium sodium niobate-based piezoelectric ceramics显示文摘In this work,the phase transition behavior and electrostrictive and photoluminescence properties of Sm_(2)O_(3)-modified 0.965(K_(0.48)Na_(0.52))(Nb_(0.95)Sb_(0.05))e_(0.035)Bi_(0.5)(Na_(0.82)K_(0.18))_(0.5)HfO_(3)(KNNSe0.035BNKH)ceramics were investigated.Results showed that the phase structure of the Sm2O3-modified ceramics evolved from coexisting orthogonal and tetragonal ferroelectric phases to a relaxor pseudocubic phase along with the strong destruction of the long-range ferroelectric order.Domain switching in Smmodified ceramics with a relaxor pseudocubic phase became difficult,evident from the PFM images.Consequently,large electrostrictive effect with an electrostrictive coefficient of 0.022 m4/C2 was obtained in 1.0 mol%Sm-modified samples.With regard to long-term stability,the materials exhibited temperature-independent(20-100℃)and fatiguefree(up to 105 cycles)behavior,which guarantees their application in various devices.The KNNSe0.035BNKHexSm ceramics have the advantages of photoluminescence performance with bright orange emission under 407 nm visible light excitation.Overall,KNNS0.035BNKHxSm ceramics have broad application prospects in multifunction devices due to their large electrostrictive effect,excellent photoluminescence performance,and long-term stability.Wei Li Jigong Hao Peng Fu Juan Du Peng Li Chengchao Hu Wei Li Zhenxing Yue 2020Journal of Materiomics2020,6,4:0
