1Effects of ultrasonic pretreatment on sludge dewaterability and extracellular polymeric substances distribution in mesophilic anaerobic digestion显示文摘Effect of ultrasonic pretreatment on sludge dewaterability was determined and the fate of extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) matrix in mesophilic anaerobic digestion after ultrasonic pretreatment was studied. Characteristics of proteins (PN), polysaccharides (PS), excitation-emission matrix (EEM) fluorescence spectroscopy and molecular weight (MW) distribution of dissolved organic matters (DOM) in different EPS fractions were evaluated. The results showed that after ultrasonic pretreatment, the normalized capillary suction time (CST) decreased from 44.4 to 11.1 (sec·L)/g total suspended solids (TSS) during anaerobic digestion, indicating that sludge dewaterability was greatly improved. The normalized CST was significantly correlated with PN concentration (R2 = 0.92, p < 0.01) and the PN/PS ratio (R2 = 0.84, p < 0.01) in the loosely bound EPS (LB-EPS) fraction. Meanwhile, the average MW of DOM in the LB- EPS and tightly bound EPS (TB-EPS) fractions also had a good correlation with the normalized CST (R2 > 0.66, p < 0.01). According to EEM fluorescence spectroscopy, tryptophan-like substances intensities in the slime, LB-EPS and TB-EPS fractions were correlated with the normalized CST. 2Recovery of phosphorus as struvite from sewage sludge ash显示文摘Phosphorus(P) is an element vital for all living organisms,yet the world's reserves of phosphate rock are becoming depleted.This study investigated an effective P recovery method from sludge ash via struvite precipitation.Results showed that more than 95% of the total P content was extracted from sludge ash by applying 0.5 mol/L HCl at a liquid/solid ratio of 50 mL/g.Although heavy metal leaching also occurred during P extraction,cation exchange resin efficiently removed the heavy metals from the P-rich solution.Orthogonal tests showed that the optimal parameters for P precipitation as struvite would be a Mg:N:P molar ratio of 1.6:1.6:1 at pH 10.0.X-ray diffraction analysis validated the formation of struvite.Further investigations revealed that the harvested precipitate had a high struvite content(97%),high P bioavailability(94%),and low heavy metal content,which could be considered a high quality fertilizer.Huacheng Xu Pinjing He Weimei Gu Guanzhao Wang Liming Shao 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,8:15
3Enhanced anaerobic digestion and sludge dewaterability by alkaline pretreatment and its mechanism显示文摘To investigate the influences of alkaline pretreatment on anaerobic digestion(AD) and sludge dewaterability after AD,waste activated sludge was adjusted to different pH values(8,9,10,11,12) and placed at ambient temperature for 24 hr.The samples were then adjusted to the initial pH and subjected to 25 days of AD.The results showed that,when compared with the control(pH 6.8),total suspended solids(TSS) and volatile suspended solids(VSS) reduction following pretreatment at pH 9-11 increased by 10.7%-13.1% and 6.5%-12.8%,respectively,while biogas production improved by 7.2%-15.4%.Additionally,significant enhancement of sludge dewaterability after AD occurred when pretreatment at pH 8-9 was conducted.The proteins and carbohydrates transferred from the pellet and tightly bound extracellular polymeric substances(TB-EPS) fractions to the slime and loosely bound EPS(LB-EPS) fractions after pretreatment and during the AD process,and the concentrations of proteins and carbohydrates in the slime fraction had a good linear relationship with the normalized capillary suction time(CST).During the AD process,the normalized CST was positively correlated with the organic materials in the loosely bound fraction of the sludge matrix(R 2 0.700,p < 0.01),while it was negatively correlated with the organic materials in the tightly bound fraction(R 2 0.702,p < 0.01).These results suggest that alkaline pretreatment could break the EPS matrix and release inner organic materials,thus influencing the efficiency of the AD process and dewaterability after AD.Liming Shao Xiaoyi Wang Huacheng Xu Pinjing He 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,10:10
4Effects of activated sludge flocs and pellets seeds on aerobic granule properties显示文摘Aerobic granules seeded with activated sludge flocs and pellets (obtained from activated sludge flocs) were cultivated in two sequencing batch reactors and their characteristics were compared. Compared with granules seeded with activated sludge flocs, those seeded with pellets had shorter start-up time, larger diameter, better chemical oxygen demand removal efficiency, and higher hydrophobicity, suspended solid concentration, and Mg 2+ content. The different inocula led the granule surface with different microbial morphologies, but did not result in different distribution patterns of extracellular polymeric substances and cells. The anaerobic bacterium Anoxybacillus sp. was detected in the granules seeded with pellets. 6Unsteady supercritical/critical dual flowpath inlet flow and its control methods显示文摘The characteristics of unsteady flow in a dual-flowpath inlet, which was designed for a Turbine Based Combined Cycle(TBCC) propulsion system, and the control methods of unsteady flow were investigated experimentally and numerically. It was characterized by large-amplitude pressure oscillations and traveling shock waves. As the inlet operated in supercritical condition,namely the terminal shock located in the throat, the shock oscillated, and the period of oscillation was about 50 ms, while the amplitude was 6 mm. The shock oscillation was caused by separation in the diffuser. This shock oscillation can be controlled by extending the length of diffuser which reduces pressure gradient along the flowpath. As the inlet operated in critical condition, namely the terminal shock located at the shoulder of the third compression ramp, the shock oscillated,and the period of oscillation was about 7.5 ms, while the amplitude was 12 mm. At this condition,the shock oscillation was caused by an incompatible backpressure in the bleed region. 10Scrolling bilayer WS2/MoS2 heterostructures for high-performance photo-detection显示文摘Recently,transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)nanoscrolls have exhibited unique electronic and optical properties due to their spiral tubular structures,which are formed by rolling up monolayer TMDCs nanosheets.Inspired by the excellent physical and chemical properties of TMDCs van der Waals heterostructures(vdWHs),it is highly desirable to scroll TMDCs vdWHs for potential optoelectronic applications.In this work,WS2/MoS2 vdWHs nanoscrolls were massively prepared by dropping aqueous alkaline droplet on chemical vapor deposition(CVD)-grown bilayer WS2/MoS2 vdWHs,which were formed by growing monolayer WS2 islands on top of monolayer MoS2 nanosheets simultaneously.The optical microscopy(OM),atomic force microscopy(AFM),ultralow frequency(ULF)Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)were utilized to characterize the WS2/MoS2 vdWHs nanoscrolls.As-obtained WS2/MoS2 vdWHs nanoscrolls exhibited new ULF breathing mode as well as shear mode peaks due to the strong interlayer interaction.Notably,the photosensitivities of WS2/MoS2 vdWHs nanoscrolls-based devices were about ten times higher than those of WS2/MoS2 vdWHs-based devices under blue,green and red lasers,respectively,which could be attributed to the ultrafast charge transfer at alternative WS2/MoS2 and MoS2/WS2 multi-interfaces in scrolled structure.Our work suggested that TMDCs vdWHs scrolls could be promising candidates for optoelectronic applications.Lin Wang Qiuyan Yue Chengjie Pei Huacheng Fan Jie Dai Xiao Huang Hai Li Wei Huang 2020Nano Research2020,13,4:1

13Prevention and Control Effects of Aphidius gifuensis against Myzus persicae in Shuicheng显示文摘The prevention and control effects of Aphidius gifuensis against Myzus persicae in four major tobacco planting villages and towns in Shuicheng County were investigated from 2015 to 2016. The results showed that the parasitic rate of M. persicae before A. gifuensis release was 0. 85% in field,and that at 20 d after A. gifuensis release was 59. 49%. The incidence rate of aphid-transmitted virus disease was controlled at 0. 62%. The release of A. gifuensis increased its natural population quantity in field,and had obvious direct control effects against M. persicae. 15Numerical study on the role of microwave-metal discharge in microwave pyrolysis of WPCBs显示文摘As a promising green technology,microwave heating is highlighted by its high efficiency and low consumption,especially in the fast pyrolysis treatment for e-waste recycling.Electric discharge induced by microwave-metal interaction plays a significant role in the process,and its contribution to heat generation is,however,always hard to define qualitatively through direct experiments.In this simulation,a microwave heating model featuring the pulsed microwave-metal(MW-m)discharge was designed in multi-dimensions,using COMSOL Multiphysics software,to emphatically probe the depth and extent of the hot-spot effect as well as its auxo-action on the pyrolysis process of waste printed circuit boards(WPCBs).The energy loss generated by MW-m discharge was added into the models in the form of a built-in fluctuating heat source,and it is found that at a relatively low microwave energy-to-heat conversion rate(31.5%,220.5 W),due to the unique thermal effect of microwave-metal discharge,it can achieve an ideal pyrolysis effect.Based on the results,the instantaneous heat by discharge is generated in the similar trend of radiation pulses,and the local temperature of discharge spots can reach more than 2000 K the instant the discharge occurs,shortening the overall pyrolysis from dozens of minutes to around 200 s.Zhenyu Jiang Jing Sun Wenlong Wang Huacheng Zhu Jingwei Li Zhanlong Song Xiqiang Zhao Yanpeng Mao Shouyan Chen 2021Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2021,3,3:0
16Removal of Anionic Dyes from Aqueous Solution with Layered Cationic Aluminum Oxyhydroxide显示文摘It is highly desired yet challenged to find an adsorbent with low cost and excellent performance in the removal of organic dyes from aqueous solution. Here we reported that a layered cationic aluminum oxyhydroxide material hydrothermally synthesized from the low-cost source materials of AlCl_(3)·6H_(2)O, CaO and H_(2)O, known as JU-111, can meet such criterion in removing methyl orange(MO) and Congo red(CR). JU-111 shows fast adsorption kinetics[especially for CR(15 s)] and high adsorption capacity(MO: >1000 mg/g;CR: >2900 mg/g), surpassing most of the reported adsorbents. Comprehensive characterizations of the adsorption process of MO and CR revealed that both adsorptions were achieved via the anion exchange process. 17Cold Start Problem of Vehicle Model Recognition under Cross-Scenario Based on Transfer Learning显示文摘As a major function of smart transportation in smart cities,vehicle model recognition plays an important role in intelligent transportation.Due to the difference among different vehicle models recognition datasets,the accuracy of network model training in one scene will be greatly reduced in another one.However,if you don’t have a lot of vehicle model datasets for the current scene,you cannot properly train a model.To address this problem,we study the problem of cold start of vehicle model recognition under cross-scenario.Under the condition of small amount of datasets,combined with the method of transfer learning,load the DAN(Deep Adaptation Networks)and JAN(Joint Adaptation Networks)domain adaptation modules into the convolutional neural network AlexNet and ResNet,and get four models:AlexNet-JAN,AlexNet-DAN,ResNet-JAN,and ResNet-DAN which can achieve a higher accuracy at the beginning.Through experiments,transfer the vehicle model recognition from the network image dataset(source domain)to the surveillance-nature dataset(target domain),both Top-1 and Top-5 accuracy have been improved by at least 20%.Hongbo Wang Qian Xue Tong Cui Yangyang Li Huacheng Zeng 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,4:0
18Oviposition Regularity of Hybrid Silkworm Stock Moth of Liangguang No. 2显示文摘To cure pebrine using dry- hot air treatment of silkworm eggs,and control egg age within 12 hours,oviposition regularity of hybrid silkworm stock moth of Liangguang No. 2—current production variety in Guangdong Province was investigated. The experiment showed that most hybrid stock female moths of Liangguang No. 2 at 25- 28℃ oviposited in the first 5 hours,and egg production declined sharply after 5 hours. 7·Xiang × Fu·9 achieved the oviposition peak within 1 hour after casting the moth,the oviposition amount within 5 hours accounted for 92. 94% of the total oviposition amount of female moth,that within 9 hours accounted for96. 47%. Fu·9 × 7·Xiang achieved the oviposition peak within 2- 4 hours after casting the moth,the oviposition amount within 5 hours accounted for 85. 21%of the total oviposition amount of female moth,that within 9 hours accounted for 92. 78%.
