| 1 | Construction of chimeric inducible promoters by elicitors of rice fungal blast pathogen and their expression in transgenic rice显示文摘The promoter fragments of wheat GstA1 and potato Gst1 have been amplified by PCR, cloned and fused respectively to the minimal promoter sequence of rice actin gene (Act1)) and its 5’ untranslated leader sequence together with GUS. The constructs with 2 chimeric promoters (WGA and PGA) have been transferred into rice in order to analyze their inducibility patterns in transgenic rice plants. The results show that: WGA and PGA are both inducible by elicitors of Pyricularia oryzae in transgenic rice cells; the intron I of rice Act1 gene is important for the heterogenic expression of monocot and dicot promoter elements in rice; and the Act1 minimal promoter and its 5’untranslated leader sequence produced low level background expression in rice. | LU Huafei MING Xiaotian QU Lijia LIU Meihua LI Jing GU Hongya CHEN Zhangliang | 2000 | Chinese Science Bulletin2000,45,3: | 5 |

| 6 | Preparation and characterization of a metered dose transdermal spray for testosterone显示文摘The objective of the present work was to develop a metered dose transdermal spray(MDTS)formulation for transdermal delivery of testosterone and to characterize its efficacy.Testosterone release from a series of formulations was assessed in vitro.Skin from hairless mice was used in permeation experiments with Franz diffusion cells.The spray pattern,pump seal efficiency,average weight per metered dose and dose uniformity were evaluated.An optimized formulation containing 10%(w/v)testosterone,9%(v/v)azone and 91%(v/v)ethanol was based on good skin permeation and acceptable drug concentration and permeation enhancer(PE)content.A skin irritation study indicated that the formulation was non-irritating in a rat model.An in vivo pharmacokinetic study indicated that the optimized formulation showed a different plasma concentration-time profile from that of the commercially available product Testopatchs.The Testopatchs product demonstrated a more sustainable drug release.The evaluation of the testosterone MDTS indicated that it could deliver reproducible amounts of the formulation per actuation.The results obtained showed that the MDTS is a potential alternative therapeutic system for transdermal testosterone delivery. | Wangding Lu Huafei Luo Yubo Wu Zhuangzhi Zhu Hao Wang | 2013 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2013,3,6: | 1 |

| 10 | Dielectric and varistor properties of rare-earth-doped ZnO and CaCu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12) composite ceramics显示文摘To investigate the multi-functional ceramics with both high permitivity and large nonlinear cofficient,we have prepared rare-earth Tb-and-Co doped ZnO and TO_(2)rich CaCu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12)(TCCTO)powders by chemical co-precipitation and sol-gel methods re-spectively,and then obtained the TCCTO/ZnO composite ceramics,sintered at 1100℃for 3h in air.Analyzing the composite ceramics of the microstructure and phase composition indicated that the composite ceramics were composed of the main phases of ZnO and CaCu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12)(CCTO).Our results revealed that the TCCTO/ZnO composite ceramics showed both high dielectric and good nonlinear electrical behaviors.The composite ceramic of TCCTO:ZnO=0.3 exhibited a high dielectric constant of~210(1 kHz)with a nonlinear cofficient of~11.The dielectric behavior of TCCTO/ZnO composite could be explained by the mixture rule.With the high dielectric permittivity and tunable varistor behaviors,the composite ceramics has a potential application for the higher voltage transportation devices. | Huafei Lu Yuanhua Lin Jiancong Yuan Cewen Nan Kexin Chen | 2013 | Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2013,3,1: | 0 |
| 11 | Characterization and performance of V2Os/CeO2 for NH3-SCR of NO at low temperatures显示文摘A series of CeO2 supported V205 catalysts with various loadings were prepared with different calcination temperatures by the incipient impregnation. The catalysts were evaluated for low temperature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with ammonia (NH3). The effects of 02 and SO2 on catalytic activity were also studied. The catalysts were characterized by specific surface areas (SBET) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) methods. The experimental results showed that NO conversion changed significantly with the different V205 loading and calcination temperature. With the V205 loading increasing from 0 to 10wt%, NO conversion increased significantly, but decreased at higher loading. The optimum calcination temperature was 400℃. The best catalyst yielded above 80% NO conversion in the reaction temperature range of 160℃-300℃.
