2Smart nanoprobe based on two-photon sensitized terbium-carbon dots for dual-mode fluorescence thermometer and antibacterial显示文摘Accurate temperature measurement plays an important role in a variety of industrial processes and scientific researches.In our work,the dual-mode temperature response nanoprobe CDs-Tb-TMPDPA containing a two-photon ligand(4-(2,4,6-trimethoxyphenyl)-pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid,TMPDPA)sensitized Tb3+as a temperature-sensitive unit and carbon dots(CDs)as photothermal reagent and a fluorescence reference unit,have been designed and synthesized.In this system,both the fluorescence intensity ratio and the fluorescence lifetime have a good response to temperature.In additio n,due to the excellent photothermal conversion capability of CDs,photothermal antibacterial ability was also tested.Based on the temperature dependence of the fluorescence and the two-photon excitation characteristics of CDs-Tb-TMPDPA,the nanoprobe can also be used in the anti-counterfeiting.Our finding opens a new prospect for the use of two-photon sensitized dual-mode fluorescence thermometers.Huicheng Yan Hongyuhang Ni Yiwei Yang Changfu Shan Xiaoxi Yang Xiangkai Li Jing Cao Wenyu Wu Weisheng Liu Yu Tang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,7:1

4A smart nanoprobe based on luminescent terbium metal-organic framework coated gold nanorods for monitoring and photo-stimulated combined thermal-chemotherapy显示文摘Real-time monitoring and accurate treatment are of great significance for reducing the side effects during the cancer therapy.In this work,we rationally prepared a smart nanoprobe based on core-shell terbium metal-organic gramework(MOF)with highly effective photothermal conversion capacity and drug release efficiency under near-infrared light irradiation for real-time fluorescence imaging-guided multimodal therapy.The nanoprobe can achieve prominent photothermal therapy and controllable drug release,act as a fluorescence thermometer,and also real-time feedback of temperature is expected to be achieved.At the same time,the two-photon ligand design significantly improves the tissue penetration ability of the nanoprobe.Our work is expected to provide a reference for precise treatment and real-time monitoring of tumors and at the same time provide new ideas for the formulation of individualized treatment plans.Tong Zhang Liying Qin Liangliang Liu Meina Zhang Tianyi Du Yifan Fan Huicheng Yan Pingru Su Ping Zhou Yu Tang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,9:0
5Mitochondrial deoxyguanosine kinase is required for female fertility in mice显示文摘Mitochondrial homeostasis plays a pivotal role in oocyte maturation and embryonic development.Deoxyguanosine kinase(DGUOK)is a nucleoside kinase that salvages purine nucleosides in mitochondria and is critical for mitochondrial DNA replication and homeostasis in non-proliferating cells.Dguok loss-of-function mutations and deletions lead to hepatocerebral mitochondrial DNA deletion syndrome.However,its potential role in reproduction remains largely unknown.In this study,we find that Dguok knockout results in female infertility.Mechanistically,DGUOK deficiency hinders ovarian development and oocyte maturation.Moreover,DGUOK deficiency in oocytes causes a significant reduction in mitochondrial DNA copy number and abnormal mitochondrial dynamics and impairs germinal vesicle breakdown.Only few DGUOK-deficient oocytes can extrude their first polar body during in vitro maturation,and these oocytes exhibit irregular chromosome arrangements and different spindle lengths.In addition,DGUOK deficiency elevates reactive oxygen species levels and accelerates oocyte apoptosis.Our findings reveal novel physiological roles for the mitochondrial nucleoside salvage pathway in oocyte maturation and implicate DGUOK as a potential marker for the diagnosis of female infertility.Yake Gao Rui Dong Jiacong Yan Huicheng Chen Lei Sang Xinyi Yao Die Fan Xin Wang Xiaoyuan Zuo Xu Zhang Shengyu Yang Ze Wu Jianwei Sun 2024Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2024,56,3:0
