| 3 | A Review on Lithium-ion Power Battery Thermal Management Technologies and Thermal Safety显示文摘Lithium-ion power battery has become one of the main power sources for electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles because of superior performance compared with other power sources. In order to ensure the safety and improve the performance, the maximum operating temperature and local temperature difference of batteries must be maintained in an appropriate range. The effect of temperature on the capacity fade and aging are simply investigated. The electrode structure, including electrode thickness, particle size and porosity, are analyzed. It is found that all of them have significant influences on the heat generation of battery. Details of various thermal management technologies, namely air based, phase change material based, heat pipe based and liquid based, are discussed and compared from the perspective of improving the external heat dissipation. The selection of different battery thermal management(BTM) technologies should be based on the cooling demand and applications, and liquid cooling is suggested being the most suitable method for large-scale battery pack charged/discharged at higher C-rate and in high-temperature environment. | 7 | Detection of RASSF1A promoter hypermethylation in serum from gastric and colorectal adenocarcinoma patients显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the diagnostic role of serum RASSF1A promoter hypermethylation in gastric and colorectal ad- enocarcinoma. METHODS:Methylation-specific polymerase chain reac- tion (MSPCR) was used to examine the promoter meth- ylation status of the serum RASSF1A gene in 47 gastric adenocarcinoma patients, 45 colorectal adenocarcinoma patients, 60 patients with benign gastrointestinal dis- ease (30 with benign gastric disease and 30 with benign colorectal disease), and 30 healthy donor controls. Apaired study of RASSF1A promoter methylation status in primary tumor, adjacent normal tissue, and postopera- tive serum were conducted in 25 gastric and colorectal adenocarcinoma patients who later were underwent sur- gical therapy. RESULTS:The frequencies of detection of serum RASSF1A promoter hypermethylation in gastric (34.0%) and colorectal (28.9%) adenocarcinoma patients were significantly higher than those in patients with benign gastric (3.3%) or colorectal (6.7%) disease or in healthy donors (0%) (P < 0.01). The methylation status of RASSF1A promoter in serum samples was consistent with that in paired primary tumors, and the MSPCR results for RASSF1A promoter methylation status in paired preoperative samples were consistent with those in postoperative serum samples. The serum RASSF1A promoter hypermethylation did not correlate with patient sex, age, tumor differentiation grade, surgical therapy, or serum carcinoembryonic antigen level. Although the serum RASSF1A promoter hypermethylation frequency tended to be higher in patients with distant metastases, there was no correlation between methylation status and metastasis. | 8 | Selective catalytic oxidation of NO with O_2 over Ce-doped MnO_x/TiO_2 catalysts显示文摘A series of Ce-doped MnOx/TiO2 catalysts were prepared by impregnation method and used for catalytic oxidation of NO in the presence of excess O2. The sample with the Ce doping concentration of Ce/Mn=1/3 and calcined at 300°C shows a superior activity for NO oxidation to NO2. On Ce(1)Mn(3)Ti catalyst, 58% NO conversion was obtained at 200°C and 85% NO conversion at 250°C with a GHSV of 41000 h-1, which was much higher than that over MnOx/TiO2 catalyst (48% at 250°C). Characterization results implied that the higher activity of Ce(1)Mn(3)Ti could be attributed to the enrichment of well-dispersed MnOx on the surface and the abundance of Mn3+ and Ti3+ species. The addition of Ce into MnOx/TiO2 could improve oxygen storage capacity and facilitate oxygen mobility of the catalyst as shown by PL and ESR, so that its activity for NO oxidation could be enhanced. | 14 | Daclatasvir plus asunaprevir in treatment-na?ve patients with hepatitis C virus genotype 1b infection显示文摘AIM To assess daclatasvir plus asunaprevir(d UAL) in treatment-na?ve patients from China's Mainland, Russia and South Korea with hepatitis C virus(HCV) genotype 1 b infection. METHODS Patients were randomly assigned(3:1) to receive 24 wk of treatment with d UAL(daclatasvir 60 mg once daily and asunaprevir 100 mg twice daily) beginning on day 1 of the treatment period(immediate treatment arm) or following 12 wk of matching placebo(placebodeferred treatment arm). The primary endpoint was a comparison of sustained virologic response at posttreatment week 12(SVR12) compared with the historical SVR rate for peg-interferon plus ribavirin(70%) among patients in the immediate treatment arm. The first 12 wk of the study were blinded. Safety was assessed in d UAL-treated patients compared with placebo patients during the first 12 wk(doubleblind phase), and during 24 wk of d UAL in both arms combined.RESULTS In total, 207 patients were randomly assigned to immediate(n = 155) or placebo-deferred(n = 52) treatment. Most patients were Asian(86%), female(59%) and aged < 65 years(90%). Among them, 13% had cirrhosis, 32% had IL28 B non-CC genotypes and 53% had baseline HCV RNA levels of ≥ 6 million IU/m L. Among patients in the immediate treatment arm, SVR12 was achieved by 92%(95% confidence interval: 87.2-96.0), which was significantly higher than the historical comparator rate(70%). SVR12 was largely unaffected by cirrhosis(89%), age ≥ 65 years(92%), male sex(90%), baseline HCV RNA ≥ 6 million(89%) or IL28 B non-CC genotypes(96%), although SVR12 was higher among patients without(96%) than among those with(53%) baseline NS5 A resistanceassociated polymorphisms(at L31 or Y93 H). during the double-blind phase, aminotransferase elevations were more common among placebo recipients than among patients receiving d UAL. during 24 wk of d UAL therapy(combined arms), the most common adverse events(≥ 10%) were elevated alanine aminotransferase and upper respiratory tract infection; emergent grade 3-4 laboratory abnormalities were infrequently observed, and all grade 3-4 aminotransferase abnormalities(alanine aminotransferase, n = 9; aspartate transaminase, n = 6) reversed within 8-11 d. Two patients discontinued d UAL treatment; one due to aminotransferase elevations, nausea, and jaundice and the other due to a fatal adverse event unrelated to treatment. | 16 | Inhibition of angiogenesis and HCT-116 xenograft tumor growth in mice by kallistatin显示文摘AIM: To investigate the inhibitory effect of kallistatin (KAL) on angiogenesis and HCT-116 xenograft tumor growth. METHODS: Heterotopic tumors were induced by subcutaneous injection of 2 × 106 HCT-11 cells in mice. Seven days later, 2 × 1011 rAAV-GFP or rAAV-KAL was injected intratumorally (n = 5 for each group). The mice were sacrificed at d 28, by which time the tumors in the rAAV-GFP group had grown to beyond 5% of the total body weight. Tumor growth was measured by calipers in two dimensions. Tumor angiogenesis was determined with tumor microvessel density (MVD) by immunohistology. Tumor cell proliferation was assessed by Ki-67 staining. RESULTS: Intratumor injection of rAAV-KAL inhibited tumor growth in the treatment group by 78% (171 ± 52 mm3) at d 21 after virus infection compared to the control group (776 ± 241 mm3). | 20 | ZmCOL3, a CCT gene represses flowering in maize by interfering with the circadian clock and activating expression of ZmCCT显示文摘Flowering time is a trait vital to the adaptation of flowering plants to different environments.Here, we report that CCT domain genes play an important role in flowering in maize(Zea mays L.).Among the 53 CCT family genes we identified in maize, 28 were located in flowering time quantitative trait locus regions and 15 were significantly associated with flowering time, based on candidate-gene association mapping analysis.Furthermore, a CCT gene named ZmCOL3 was shown to be a repressor of flowering.Overexpressing ZmCOL3 delayed flowering time by approximately 4 d, in either long-day or short-day conditions.The absence of one cytosine in the ZmCOL3 3'UTR and the presence of a 551 bp fragment in the promoter region are likely the causal polymorphisms contributing to the maize adaptation from tropical to temperate regions.We propose a modified model of the maize photoperiod pathway, wherein ZmCOL3 acts as an inhibitor of flowering either by transactivating transcription of ZmCCT, one of the key genes regulating maize flowering, or by interfering with the circadian clock. | Minliang Jin Xiangguo Liu Wei Jia Haijun Liu Wenqiang Li Yong Peng Yanfang Du Yuebin Wang Yuejia Yin Xuehai Zhang Qing Liu Min Deng Nan Li Xiyan Cui Dongyun Hao Jianbing Yan | 2018 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2018，60，6： | 14 |
