| 1 | Analysis on Nutrient Compositions and Nutritional Quality of Lota lota( Linnaeus) Muscle显示文摘In order to evaluate the nutritional quality of Lota lota(Linnaeus) muscle,the common nutrient components,amino acid composition and fatty acid composition in muscle of wild Lota lota(captured in Hailang reaches of Mudan River) were determined by routine methods. The results showed that the contents of moisture,crude protein,crude fat and ash were 81. 82%,15. 93%,0. 44% and 1. 06% in fresh muscle of Lota lota,respectively. Totally 17 amino acids,including seven kinds of essential amino acids(EAA),were detected in dry muscle of Lota lota(Linnaeus),accounting for 72. 43% of total dry muscle. The content of EAA was 29. 82%,accounting for 41. 17% of TAA,meeting the amino acid composition of high-quality protein standard required by Food and Agriculture Organization /Word Health Organization(FAO /WHO). There were four delicious amino acids(DAA) in dry muscle,accounting for 28. 34% of total dry weight.The percentage of DAA to TAA was 39. 13% in dry muscle. The contents of C20:5n- 3(EPA) and C22:6n- 3(DHA) in dry muscle were 8. 65% and 20. 32%respectively,which were significantly higher than that of the artificially cultured fish species,such as Oxyeleotris marmorata(EPA:2. 24%,DHA:4. 74%),Spinibarbus sinensis(EPA:0. 87%,DHA:3. 08%) and Glossogobius giuris(EPA: 3. 94%,DHA: 8. 10%). Based on the amino acids score(AAS) and chemical score(CS),the first limited amino acid in Lota lota(Linnaeus) was sulfur-containing amino acid(methionine + cysteine). The essential amino acids index(EAAI) of Lota lota(Linnaeus) was 62.58. It is concluded that Lota lota(Linnaeus) is abundant in amino acids and high-unsaturated fatty acids,and rational in composition of amino acids. | 7 | Quantifying the response of surface urban heat island to urbanization using the annual temperature cycle model显示文摘Urban heat island(UHI),driving by urbanization,plays an important role in urban sustainability under climate change.However,the quantification of UHI’s response to urbanization is still challenging due to the lack of robust and continuous temperature and urbanization datasets and reliable quantification methods.This study proposed a framework to quantify the response of surface UHI(SUHI)to urban expansion using the annual temperate cycle model.We built a continuous annual SUHI series at the buffer level from 2003 to 2018 in the Jing-Jin-Ji region of China using MODIS land surface temperature and imperviousness derived from Landsat.We then investigated the spatiotemporal dynamic of SUHI under urban expansion and examined the underlying mechanism.Spatially,the largest SUHI interannual variations occurred in suburban areas compared to the urban center and rural areas.Temporally,the increase in SUHI under urban expansion was more significant in daytime compare to nighttime.We found that the seasonal variation of SUHI was largely affected by the seasonal variations of vegetation in rural areas and the interannual variation was mainly attributed to urban expansion in urban areas.Additionally,urban greening led to the decrease in summer daytime SHUI in central urban areas.These findings deepen the understanding of the long-term spatiotemporal dynamic of UHI and the quantitative relationship between UHI and urban expansion,providing a scientific basis for prediction and mitigation of UHI. | Huidong Li Yuyu Zhou Gensuo Jia Kaiguang Zhao Jinwei Dong | 2022 | Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,1: | 1 |

| 10 | Examining Health of Wetlands with Multiple Ecosystem Services as Targets in China’s Coastal Regions显示文摘Coastal zones are key interconnectors of terrestrial and marine ecosystems.Due to the degradation and fragmentation of coastal wetlands,there is an urgent need to develop assessment methodology to compare the health of wetland ecosystems at different spatial scales.This will help efficiently develop and implement protections using easy-to-access ecosystem health data.This study aims to understand the spatial distribution of coastal and inland wetland health for China’s coastal regions.A Wetland Health Index(WHI)was developed to provide a basis for policy and decision making.Four utilization models—Long Term Model,Open Model,Nature Reserve Model,and Protected and Economic Model—were defined in the context of China’s coastal regions to specifically examine wetland health.Results show that the average WHI score was 63.6 with the range of 44.8–84.3 for 35 National Nature Reserves(NNRs),and the southern NNRs generally performed better than the northern NNRs.The wetlands in the southern provinces/municipalities are relatively healthier than their northern counterparts.The competent authority has slight influence on WHI scores but duration of conservation establishment does not show a clear correlation.With increasing economic activity,the differences in health conditions(WHI scores)of China’s coastal regions also increase.Gross Domestic Product(GDP)or economic intensification does not relate to WHI scores.Appropriate trade-offs between wetland management and economic development could contribute to improve health conditions,conservation and utilization of coastal and inland wetlands. | ZHOU Yangming DOU Yuehan YU Xiubo ZHANG Li HUANG Chong WANG Yuyu LI Xiaowei LI He JIA Yifei BAKKER Martha CARSJENS Gerrit Jan ZHOU Yan DUAN Houlang | 2020 | Chinese Geographical Science2020,30,4: | 1 |
| 11 | A slippery hydrogel coating with durable oil-repellent property and self-regeneration capacity显示文摘Traditional lubricant impregnated surfaces usually required fluorinated lubricants to achieve slippery oil repellency, but the lubricants infused were expensive and toxic and also suffered from limited stability because of their migrating, evaporating, and leaking during use. Herein, to address this issue, we fabricated a durably fluorine-free slippery oil-repellent hydrogel coating using water as the lubricant. Due to its enhanced water-binding affinity, water could wet the hydrogel completely and form a hydrated-water layer on the surface. The hydrated water layer could act as a lubricant to repel foreign oils, which allowed the hydrogel to display slippery oil-repellency in air, exhibit superoleophobicity underwater, and resist oil fouling upon oil immersion.The hydrogel kept its oil-repellent properties after mechanical tests as well as thermal and freezing treatments,demonstrating its durability. Thanks to its moisture absorption, the water lubricant layer could self-regenerate upon the lubricated water layer depletion through exposure to a humid environment. | 13 | Habitat selection and food choice of White-naped Cranes(Grus vipio)at stopover sites based on satellite tracking and stable isotope analysis显示文摘By combining satellite tracking,land-cover extracted from Landsite 8 images,and the traditional stable isotope analysis,we studied the habitat selection and food preference of a vulnerable migratory waterbird,the Whitenaped Crane(Grus vipio),in one of its key stagging sites,the Shandian River Basin in the semi-arid northern China,to provide knowledge that is critical for its conservation in the Anthropocene.Our results showed that the White-naped Cranes used both uplands and natural wetlands in the stopover site.While the cranes used farmland and natural land cover equally as night-time roosting grounds,they spent most daytime foraging at farmlands.Despite the extensive usage of croplands as their foraging ground,the Bayesian mixing models based on stable isotopic analysis revealed that crop residues after harvesting,such as Maize(Zea mays)and Naked Oat(Avena chinensis),were only a small fraction of the White-naped Cranes’diet(~19%),and their diet composited mainly natural plants,such as Allium ledebourianum,Potentilla anserina,and P.tanacetifoli.Moreover,more than 20%of the total wetlands in the region were modelled as home range of the cranes.On contrast,less than 10%of croplands and about 1%of the unused uplands were identified as home range.In addition,the entire core habitats were located in natural wetlands.Our findings demonstrated the importance of natural wetlands for the survival of the threatened crane.However,the satellite-derived land cover data showed that croplands increased rapidly in the last decade in this area,at the expense of natural wetlands.With the sharp decrease of White-naped Crane population in China,the conservation of stopover sites becomes imperative.Based on our analysis,we recommend the following management actions:conserving adequate natural wetland area,regulating anthropogenic pressures such as the use of herbicides,expanding the duration and extent of current conservation regulations,establishing a comprehensive monitoring program,and initiating basin-scale ecological restoration,for effective conservation of this threatened species.These integrated conservation strategies for migratory waterbirds are necessary,considering the rapid land-cover changes and agricultural expansion that have been occurring in East Asian-Australasian Flyway,especially in the semi-arid temperate zone. | Yunzhu Liu Lan Wu Jia Guo Shengwu Jiao Sicheng Ren Cai Lu Yuyu Wang Yifei Jia Guangchun Lei Li Wen Liying Su | 2022 | Avian Research2022,13,4: | 0 |
| 14 | Model reduction of fractional impedance spectra for time–frequency analysis of batteries, fuel cells, and supercapacitors显示文摘Joint time–frequency analysis is an emerging method for interpreting the underlying physics in fuel cells,batteries,and supercapacitors.To increase the reliability of time–frequency analysis,a theoretical correlation between frequency-domain stationary analysis and time-domain transient analysis is urgently required.The present work formularizes a thorough model reduction of fractional impedance spectra for electrochemical energy devices involving not only the model reduction from fractional-order models to integer-order models and from high-to low-order RC circuits but also insight into the evolution of the characteristic time constants during the whole reduction process.The following work has been carried out:(i)the model-reduction theory is addressed for typical Warburg elements and RC circuits based on the continued fraction expansion theory and the response error minimization technique,respectively;(ii)the order effect on the model reduction of typical Warburg elements is quantitatively evaluated by time–frequency analysis;(iii)the results of time–frequency analysis are confirmed to be useful to determine the reduction order in terms of the kinetic information needed to be captured;and(iv)the results of time–frequency analysis are validated for the model reduction of fractional impedance spectra for lithium-ion batteries,supercapacitors,and solid oxide fuel cells.In turn,the numerical validation has demonstrated the powerful function of the joint time–frequency analysis.The thorough model reduction of fractional impedance spectra addressed in the present work not only clarifies the relationship between time-domain transient analysis and frequency-domain stationary analysis but also enhances the reliability of the joint time–frequency analysis for electrochemical energy devices. | Weiheng Li Qiu-An Huang Yuxuan Bai Jia Wang Linlin Wang Yuyu Liu Yufeng Zhao Xifei Li Jiujun Zhang | 2024 | Carbon Energy2024,6,1: | 0 |

| 16 | Enabling stable 4.6 V LiCoO_(2) cathode through oxygen charge regulation strategy显示文摘LiCoO_(2) is the preferred cathode material for consumer electronic products due to its high volumetric energy density. However, the unfavorable phase transition and surface oxygen release limits the practical application of LiCoO_(2)at a high-voltage of 4.6 V to achieve a higher energy density demanded by the market. Herein, both bulk and surface structures of LiCoO_(2)are stabilized at 4.6 V through oxygen charge regulation by Gd-gradient doping. The enrichment of highly electropositive Gd on LiCoO_(2) surface will increase the effective charge on oxygen and improve the oxygen framework stability against oxygen loss.On the other hand, Gd ions occupy the Co-sites and suppress the unfavorable phase transition and microcrack. The modified LiCoO_(2) exhibits superior cycling stability with capacity retention of 90.1% over 200 cycles at 4.6 V, and also obtains a high capacity of 145.7 m Ah/g at 5 C.
