2Human Cyber Physical Systems(HCPSs)in the Context of New-Generation Intelligent Manufacturing显示文摘An intelligent manufacturing system is a composite intelligent system comprising humans,cyber systems,and physical systems with the aim of achieving specific manufacturing goals at an optimized level.This kind of intelligent system is called a human-cyber-physical system(HCPS).In terms of technology,HCPSs can both reveal technological principles and form the technological architecture for intelligent manufacturing.It can be concluded that the essence of intelligent manufacturing is to design,construct,and apply HCPSs in various cases and at different levels.With advances in information technology,intelligent manufacturing has passed through the stages of digital manufacturing and digital-networked manufacturing,and is evolving toward new-generation intelligent manufacturing(NGIM).NGIM is characterized by the in-depth integration of new-generation artificial intelligence(AI)technology(i.e.,enabling technology)with advanced manufacturing technology(i.e.,root technology);it is the core driving force of the new industrial revolution.In this study,the evolutionary footprint of intelligent manufacturing is reviewed from the perspective of HCPSs,and the implications,characteristics,technical frame,and key technologies of HCPSs for NGIM are then discussed in depth.Finally,an outlook of the major challenges of HCPSs for NGIM is proposed.Zhou Ji Zhou Yanhong Wang Baicun Zang Jiyuan 2019Engineering2019,5,4:98
3Application value of enhanced recovery after surgery for total laparoscopic uncut Roux-en-Y gastrojejunostomy after distal gastrectomy显示文摘AIM To evaluate the safety and feasibility of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS) for total laparoscopic uncut Roux-en-Y gastrojejunostomy after distal gastrectomy.METHODS The clinical data of 42 patients who were divided into an ERAS group(n = 20) and a control group(n = 22) were collected. The observed indicators included operation conditions, postoperative clinical indexes, and postoperative serum stress indexes. Measurement data following a normal distribution are presented as mean ± SD and were analyzed by t-test. Count data were analyzed by χ~2 test.RESULTS The operative time, volume of intraoperative blood loss, and number of patients with conversion to opensurgery were not significantly different between the two groups. Postoperative clinical indexes, including the time to initial anal exhaust, time to initial liquid diet intake, time to out-of-bed activity, and duration of hospital stay of patients without complications, were significantly different between the two groups(t = 2.045, 8.685, 2.580, and 4.650, respectively, P < 0.05 for all). However, the time to initial defecation, time to abdominal drainage-tube removal, and the early postoperative complications were not significantly different between the two groups. Regarding postoperative complications, on the first and third days after the operation, the white blood cell count(WBC) and C reactive protein(CRP) and interleukin-6(IL-6) levels in the ERAS group were significantly lower than those in the control group.CONCLUSION The perioperative ERAS program for total laparoscopic uncut Roux-en-Y gastrojejunostomy after distal gastrectomy is safe and effective and should be popularized. 4Cell–cell contact with proinflammatory macrophages enhances the immunotherapeutic effect of mesenchymal stem cells in two abortion models显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs),which are pluripotent cells with immunomodulatory properties,have been considered good candidates for the therapy of several immune disorders,such as inflammatory bowel diseases,concanavalin A-induced liver injury,and graft-versus-host disease.The embryo is a natural allograft to the maternal immune system.A successful pregnancy depends on the timely extinction of the inflammatory response induced by embryo implantation,followed by the switch to a tolerant immune microenvironment in both the uterus and the system.Excessive infiltration of immune cells and serious inflammatory responses are triggers for embryo rejection,which results in miscarriage.Here,we demonstrated that adoptive transfer of MSCs could prevent fetal loss in a lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced abortion model and immune response-mediated spontaneous abortion model.The immunosuppressive MSCs alleviated excessive inflammation by inhibiting CD4+T cell proliferation and promoting the decidual macrophage switch to M2 in a tumor necrosis factor-stimulated gene-6(TSG-6)-dependent manner.Cell-tocell contact with proinflammatory macrophages increased the TSG-6 production by the MSCs,thereby enhancing the suppressive regulation of T cells and macrophages.Moreover,proinflammatory macrophages in contact with the MSCs upregulated the expression of CD200 on the stem cells and facilitated the reprogramming of macrophages towards an anti-inflammatory skew through the interaction of CD200 with CD200R on proinflammatory macrophages.Therefore,the results demonstrate that a TSG-6-mediated paracrine effect,reinforced by cell-to-cell contact between MSCs and proinflammatory macrophages,is involved in the mechanism of MSC-mediated abortion relief through the induction of immune tolerance.Our study also indicates the potential application of MSCs in clinical recurrent miscarriages.Yanhong Li Di Zhang Ling Xu Lin Dong Ji Zheng Yikong Lin Jiefang Huang Yanyun Zhang Yu Tao Xingxing Zang Dajin Li Meirong Du 2019Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,12:23

6Circular RNA AKT3 governs malignant behaviors of esophageal cancer cells by sponging miR-17-5p显示文摘BACKGROUND Recent studies have demonstrated that circular RNA AKT3(circAKT3)plays a crucial role in regulating the malignant phenotypes of tumor cells.However,the potential effects of circAKT3 on esophageal cancer have not been investigated.AIM To illuminate the role of circAKT3 in malignant behaviors of esophageal cancer cells and its underlying mechanism.METHODS Clinical samples were collected to detect the expression of circAKT3.The role of circAKT3 in proliferation,migration,invasion,and apoptosis of esophageal cancer cells was evaluated using Cell Counting Kit-8,wound healing assays,Transwell assays,and fluorescence analysis,respectively.The target of circAKT3 was screened and identified using an online database and luciferase reporter assay.A xenograft nude mouse model was established to investigate the role of circAKT3 in vivo.RESULTS In vitro assays showed that proliferative,migratory,and invasive capacities of esophageal cancer cells were significantly enhanced by circAKT3 overexpression.Furthermore,miR-17-5p was screened as the target of circAKT3,and miR-17-5p antagonized the effects of circAKT3 on esophageal cancer cells.Moreover,we identified RHOC and STAT3 as the direct target molecules of miR-17-5p,and circAKT3 facilitated expression of RHOC and STAT3 by inhibiting miR-17-5p.In vivo assays showed circAKT3 knockdown inhibited growth of esophageal cancer.CONCLUSION CircAKT3 contributed to the malignant behaviors of esophageal cancer in vitro and in vivo by sponging miR-17-5p thus providing a potential target for treatment of esophageal cancer.Hong-Liang Zang Fu-Jian Ji Hai-Ying Ju Xiao-Feng Tian 2021World Journal of Gastroenterology2021,27,3:8

9Anatomical variation of infra-pyloric artery origination: A prospective multicenter observational study (IPA-Origin)显示文摘Objective: Infra-pyloric artery(IPA) is an important anatomical landmark in treatment of gastric cancer and is the key vessel for pylorus-preserving gastrectomy and subgroup of infra-pyloric lymph nodes. However, its anatomical variation is not thoroughly understood. Our study aimed to clarify the origination of the IPA.Methods: We did this prospective, multicenter, open-label, observational study at gastric surgery departments of34 hospitals in China. Gastric cancer patients aged 18 years or older and scheduled to undergo elective total or distal gastrectomy were assigned. During the surgery, IPA dissecting and exposing the origination point with photographs or video clips were required. The primary outcome was the origination of the IPA. Analysis of variance, χ~2 tests and Fisher's tests were used to analyze the differences between groups. The study is registered at Clinicaltrials.gov(No. NCT03071237).Results: Between May 8 and July 31, 2017, 429 patients were assigned for the study, and 419(97.7%) patients had the IPA dissected and recorded through photograph or video and were included in the primary outcome analysis. The median age was 62 years old, and 73.7% were male. Among the patients, 78.5% received laparoscopic surgery. Single IPA origination was identified in 398(95.0%) patients, including gastroduodenal artery(GDA) in154(36.8%) patients, anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery(ASPDA) in 130(31.0%) patients, and right gastroepiploic artery(RGEA) in 114(27.2%) patients. Fifteen(3.6%) patients were identified with multiple IPA and 6(1.4%) patients were identified as IPA absence. The differences in the distribution of surgical approach(P=0.003) and geographic area(P=0.030) were statistically significant. 10Effects of magnesium on the performance of sows and their piglets显示文摘The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of supplemental magnesium(Mg) on the performance of gilts and parity 3 sows and their piglets.Fifty-six gilts(Trial 1) and 56 sows(Trial 2) were assigned to one of 4treatments according to their mating weight,respectively.The treatments comprised corn-soybean meal based gestation and lactation diets(0.21%magnesium) supplemented with 0,0.015,0.03,or 0.045%Mg from mating until weaning.The results showed that magnesium supplementation significantly(P < 0.05) reduced the weaning to estrus interval in both gilts and sows.There were significant effects(P < 0.05) of supplemental magnesium on the total number of piglets born,born alive and weaned in sows.In late gestation and lactation,the digestibility of crude fiber(quadratic effects,P< 0.05),and crude protein(P< 0.05),were significantly influenced by magnesium in gilts and sows,respectively.There were differences among the 4 groups in terms of the apparent digestibility of dry matter and crude fiber in sows(P< 0.05) during both early and late gestation.The apparent digestibility of gross energy was increased for sows in late gestation(P< 0.05),and lactation(quadratic effects,P< 0.05).At farrowing and weaning,serum prolactin levels and alkaline phosphate activities linearly increased in sows as the Mg supplementation increased(P < 0.05).Serum Mg of sows at farrowing and serum urea nitrogen of sows at weaning was significantly influenced by Mg supplementation(P< 0.05).The Mg concentration in sow colostrum and the serum of their piglets were increased by supplemental magnesium(P < 0.05).In addition,growth hormone levels were linearly elevated(P< 0.05) in the serum of piglets suckling sows.Our data demonstrated that supplemental magnesium has the potential to improve the reproduction performance of sows,and the suitable supplemental dose ranged from 0.015%to 0.03%.Jianjun Zang Jingshu Chen Ji Tian Aina Wang Hong Liu Shengdi Hu Xiangrong Che Yongxi Ma Junjun Wang Chunlin Wang Guanghua Du Xi Ma 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,1:3
11Conjugate Heat Transfer Investigation on the Cooling Performance of Air Cooled Turbine Blade with Thermal Barrier Coating显示文摘A hot wind tunnel of annular cascade test rig is established for measuring temperature distribution on a real gas turbine blade surface with infrared camera.Besides,conjugate heat transfer numerical simulation is performed to obtain cooling efficiency distribution on both blade substrate surface and coating surface for comparison.The effect of thermal barrier coating on the overall cooling performance for blades is compared under varied mass flow rate of coolant,and spatial difference is also discussed.Results indicate that the cooling efficiency in the leading edge and trailing edge areas of the blade is the lowest.The cooling performance is not only influenced by the internal cooling structures layout inside the blade but also by the flow condition of the mainstream in the external cascade path.Thermal barrier effects of the coating vary at different regions of the blade surface,where higher internal cooling performance exists,more effective the thermal barrier will be,which means the thermal protection effect of coatings is remarkable in these regions.At the designed mass flow ratio condition,the cooling efficiency on the pressure side varies by 0.13 for the coating surface and substrate surface,while this value is 0.09 on the suction side.JI Yongbin MA Chao GE Bing ZANG Shusheng 2016Journal of Thermal Science2016,25,4:3
12Comparative Study of Convective Heat Transfer Performance of Steam and Air Flow in Rib Roughened Channels显示文摘A comparative experimental study of heat transfer characteristics of steam and air flow in rectangular channels roughened with parallel ribs was conducted by using an infrared camera. Effects of Reynolds numbers and rib angles on the steam and air convective heat transfer have been obtained and compared with each other for the Reynolds number from about 4,000 to 15,000. For all the ribbed channels the rib pitch to height ratio(p/e) is 10, and the rib height to the channel hydraulic diameter ratio is 0.078, while the rib angles are varied from 90° to 45°.Based on experimental results, it can be found that, even though the heat transfer distributions of steam and air flow in the ribbed channels are similar to each other, the steam flow can obtain higher convective heat transfer enhancement capability, and the heat transfer enhancement of both the steam and air becomes greater with the rib angle deceasing from 90° to 45°. At Reynolds number of about 12,000, the area-averaged Nusselt numbers of the steam flow is about 13.9%, 14.2%, 19.9% and 23.9% higher than those of the air flow for the rib angles of 90°,75°, 60° and 45° respectively. 13Altered relationship between thickness and intrinsic activity amplitude in generalized tonic–clonic seizures显示文摘A thinner cortex has higher potential for binding GABA receptor A which is associated with larger amplitudes of intrinsic brain activity(i BA). However, the relationship between cortical thickness and i BA is unknown in intact and epileptic brains. To this end, we investigated the relationship between cortical thickness measured by highresolution MRI and surface-based i BA derived from resting-state functional MRI in normal controls(n = 82) andpatients with generalized tonic–clonic seizures(GTCS)only(n = 82). We demonstrated that the spatial distribution of cortical thickness negatively correlated with surface-based i BA amplitude at both whole-brain and within independent brain functional networks. In GTCS patients,spatial coupling between thickness and i BA amplitude decreased in the default mode, dorsal attention, and somatomotor networks. In addition, the vertex-wise acrosssubject thickness–i BA amplitude correspondence altered in the frontal and temporal lobes as well as in the precuneus in GTCS patients. 14Nanopumping Molecules via a Carbon Nanotube显示文摘We demonstrate the feasibility of using a carbon nanotube to nanopump molecules.Molecular dynamics simulations show that the transport and ejection of a C20 molecule via a single-walled carbon nanotube(SWNT)can be achieved by a sustained mechanical actuation driven by two oscillating tips.The optimal condition for nanopumping is found when the tip oscillation frequency and magnitude correlate to form quasi steady-state mechanical wave propagation in the SWNT,so that the energy transfer process is optimal leading to maximal molecular translational motion and minimal rotational motion.Our finding provides a potentially useful mechanism for using an SWNT as a vehicle to deliver large drug molecules.Min Chen Ji Zang Dingquan Xiao CZhang Feng Liu 2009Nano Research2009,2,12:3
15Effect of Internet technology on extended care in elderly patients with diabetic feet显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the effect of Internet technology on continuing nursing in elderly patients with diabetic feet.Method: From January 2015 to July 2016, 12 elderly patients with diabetic foot ulcers were enrolled from the Endocrinology Department in our hospital. We used 'We Chat', 'E nursing' and other Internet technologies to perform remote extended care and to observe the foot ulcer outcomes.Results: All foot ulcers healed with a wound healing time between 38 and 73 days(average57.08 ± 12.69 days). Patients did not need to travel long distances to seek medical treatment for foot ulcers, improving their satisfaction.Conclusions: The implementation of extended care for elderly patients with diabetic foot ulcers was based on the application of Internet technology. 17Structural and photoluminescent properties of ZnO films deposited by radio frequency reactive sputtering显示文摘Zinc oxide films with c-axis preferred orientation were deposited on silicon (100) substrates by radio frequency (RF) reactive sputtering. The properties of the sam- ples were characterized by X-ray diffractometer, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and fluorescent-spectrophotometer. The effect of sputtering power and substrate temperature on the structural and photoluminescent (PL) properties of the ZnO films was investigated. The results indicated that when the sputtering power is 100 W and the substrate temperature is 300-400℃, it is suitable for the growth of high c-axis orientation and small strain ZnO films.
