1Lipid metabolism in cartilage and its diseases:a concise review of the research progress显示文摘The homeostasis of the vertebrate body depends on anabolic and catabolic activities that are closely linked the inside and outside of the cell.Lipid metabolism plays an essential role in these metabolic activities.Although a large amount of evidence shows that normal lipid metabolism guarantees the conventional physiological activities of organs in the vertebrate body and that abnormal lipid metabolism plays an important role in the occurrence and deterioration of cardiovascular-related diseases,such as obesity,atherosclerosis,and type II diabetes,little is known about the role of lipid metabolism in cartilage and its diseases.This review aims to summarize the latest advances about the function of lipid metabolism in cartilage and its diseases including osteoarthritis,rheumatoid arthritis,and cartilage tumors.With the gradual in-depth understanding of lipid metabolism in cartilage,treatment methods could be explored to focus on this metabolic process in various cartilage diseases.Yueyi Yang Jieya Wei Jiachi Li Yujia Cui Xuedong Zhou Jing Xie 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,5:7
2Rapid testing methods for food contaminants and toxicants显示文摘Food safety is one of the major concerns in every country regardless of the economic and social development. The frequent occurrence of food scandals in the world has led the Chinese government to implement several strategies to fortify the food supply system to a high food safety standard. This relies heavily on laboratory testing services but conventional methods for detection of food contaminants and toxicants are limited by sophisticated sample preparation procedures,long analysis time,large instruments and professional personnel to meet the increasing demands. In this review,we have incorporated most of the current and potential rapid detection methods for many notorious food contaminants and toxicants including microbial agents,toxic ions,pesticides,veterinary drugs and preservatives,as well as detection of genetically modified food genes and adulterated edible oil. Development of rapid,accurate,easy-to-use and affordable testing methods could urge food handlers and the public to actively screen for food contaminants and toxicants instead of passively relying on monitoring by the government examination facility. 3A terbium activated multicolour photoluminescent phosphor for luminescent anticounterfeiting显示文摘The multicolor photoluminescence(PL) of a Tb3+singly activated NaYGeO4 phosphor is prepared by solid state method.For the first time,it is reported that the PL color of Tb3+in NaYGeO4 phosphor can be tuned from green to blue and,finally,to red by controlling the Tb3+content.The optimal tricolor phosphors are NaYGeO4:0.01 mol% Tb3+(red),NaYGeO4:0.5 mol% Tb3+(blue) and NaYGeO4:5 mol% Tb3+(green),respectively.The PL properties of the NaYGeO4:Tb3+ phosphor were studied in details.The results reveal that the PL color modulations of the NaYGeO4:Tb3+phosphor are essentially due to the cross-relaxation effect of Tb3+,and a possible mechanism on the cross-relaxation is proposed.According to these unique features,a multicolor PL image was fabricated based on the NaYGeO4:Tb3+ phosphor for potential applications in luminescent anticounterfeiting.Jun Ma Yumiao Li Weishan Hu Wenxiang Wang Jiachi Zhang Jianhong Yang Yuhua Wang 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,10:2

11Quantifying Information via Shannon Entropy in Spatially Structured Optical Beams显示文摘While information is ubiquitously generated,shared,and analyzed in a modern-day life,there is still some controversy around the ways to assess the amount and quality of information inside a noisy optical channel.A number of theoretical approaches based on,e.g.,conditional Shannon entropy and Fisher information have been developed,along with some experimental validations.Some of these approaches are limited to a certain alphabet,while others tend to fall short when considering optical beams with a nontrivial structure,such as Hermite-Gauss,Laguerre-Gauss,and other modes with a nontrivial structure.Here,we propose a new definition of the classical Shannon information via the Wigner distribution function,while respecting the Heisenberg inequality.Following this definition,we calculate the amount of information in Gaussian,Hermite-Gaussian,and LaguerreGaussian laser modes in juxtaposition and experimentally validate it by reconstruction of the Wigner distribution function from the intensity distribution of structured laser beams.We experimentally demonstrate the technique that allows to infer field structure of the laser beams in singular optics to assess the amount of contained information.Given the generality,this approach of defining information via analyzing the beam complexity is applicable to laser modes of any topology that can be described by well-behaved functions.Classical Shannon information,defined in this way,is detached from a particular alphabet,i.e.,communication scheme,and scales with the structural complexity of the system.Such a synergy between the Wigner distribution function encompassing the information in both real and reciprocal space and information being a measure of disorder can contribute into future coherent detection algorithms and remote sensing.Maria Solyanik-Gorgone Jiachi Ye Mario Miscuglio Andrei Afanasev Alan E.Willner Volker J.Sorger 2021Research2021,,1:1

13The concentration quenching characteristics of ~5D_3-~7F_J and ~5D_4-~7F_J (J=0―6) transitions of Tb^(3+) in YBO_3:Tb^(3+) phosphor显示文摘The photoluminescence quenching behaviors of 5D3-7FJ and 5D4-7FJ (J = 0―6) transitions of Tb3+ in YBO3:Tb under 130―290 nm excitation were systematically investigated. The results revealed that the quenching concentrations of both 5D3-7FJ and 5D4-7FJ transitions of Tb3+ in YBO3:Tb were mainly de-pendent on excitation wavelength. Particularly,the quenching concentrations of 5D4-7FJ transitions of Tb3+ under 130―290 nm excitation were correlated with excitation bands of YBO3:Tb. The quenching concentrations of 5D3-7FJ transitions remained at low concentration (2%) under 186―290 nm excitation and then increased gradually with energy of incoming excitation photon when excited at 130―186 nm. 17The thermal and irradiation degradation mechanisms of Eu^(2+),Mn^(2+) co-doped BaMgAl_(10)O_(17) phosphor显示文摘The mechanisms of thermal,ultraviolet and vacuum ultraviolet radiation degradation behaviors of the Eu2+,Mn2+ co-doped BaMgAl10O17 phosphors were investigated comparatively.The result indicated that the Mn2+ ions which replaced the Mg2+ sites in the sample were stable and negligibly influenced by treatments.The oxidation and migration of Eu2+ ions primarily caused the thermal degradation of the sample.The vacuum ultraviolet radiation degradation was primarily because of the migration of Eu2+.The ultraviolet radiation increased traps which trended the Eu2+r to be in a metastable state,leading to the ultraviolet radiation degradation of the sample.The vacuum ultraviolet excited luminous loss of samples after ultraviolet radiation partly originated from the interruption of energy transfer from the host to activators by traps.LIU WenJing ZHANG JiaChi ZHOU MeiJiao WANG YuHua 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,10:0
