4Optical tuning of exciton and trion emissions in monolayer phosphorene显示文摘Monolayer phosphorene provides a unique two-dimensional(2D)platform to investigate the fundamental dynamics of excitons and trions(charged excitons)in reduced dimensions.However,owing to its high instability,unambiguous identification of monolayer phosphorene has been elusive.Consequently,many important fundamental properties,such as exciton dynamics,remain underexplored.We report a rapid,noninvasive,and highly accurate approach based on optical interferometry to determine the layer number of phosphorene,and confirm the results with reliable photoluminescence measurements.Furthermore,we successfully probed the dynamics of excitons and trions in monolayer phosphorene by controlling the photo-carrier injection in a relatively low excitation power range.Based on our measured optical gap and the previously measured electronic energy gap,we determined the exciton binding energy to be~0.3 eV for the monolayer phosphorene on SiO_(2)/Si substrate,which agrees well with theoretical predictions.A huge trion binding energy of~100 meV was first observed in monolayer phosphorene,which is around five times higher than that in transition metal dichalcogenide(TMD)monolayer semiconductor,such as MoS_(2).The carrier lifetime of exciton emission in monolayer phosphorene was measured to be,220 ps,which is comparable to those in other 2D TMD semiconductors.Our results open new avenues for exploring fundamental phenomena and novel optoelectronic applications using monolayer phosphorene.Jiong Yang Renjing Xu Jiajie Pei Ye Win Myint Fan Wang Zhu Wang Shuang Zhang Zongfu Yu Yuerui Lu 2015Light(Science & Applications)2015,4,1:8
5Pre-peak on the structure factor of liquid hypoeutectic Al-Fe alloy显示文摘Using a θ-θ X ray diffractometer the structure of liquid hypoeutectic Al Fe alloy at 675℃ and its change with different thermal histories are investigated . Liquid Al is used as a reference system. It is found that a pre peak appears on the small angle part of the structure factor of the nonsuperheated hypoeutectic Al Fe alloy, but disappears after superheating whereas the structure factors of liquid Al hardly change with the different thermal histories, and no pre peak can be observed on them. The appearance of a pre peak is a mark of the intermediate range order (IRO). The pre peak is taken as the correlation between Fe atoms on the IRO length scale. Assume that the crystalline structure is the first order approximation of the liquid structure. A model structure is constructed. The basic unit is a cube formed by 8 Al atoms on its corner and one Fe atom occupying its center. The translation of such a unit along its fourbody diagonals by the length of a diagonal can meet the requirement of the Fe_Fe distance and gives a DO 3 like structure. If the vacancy among the units is filled with fcc like Al cells, the composition of the entity is about Al 7Fe, close to that of the metastable phase Al 6Fe from rapid solidification. 6Step-scheme CdS/TiO_(2) nanocomposite hollow microsphere with enhanced photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction activity显示文摘Converting solar energy into chemical energy by artificial photosynthesis is promising in addressing the issues of the greenhouse effect and fossil fuel crisis.Herein,a novel photocatalyst,i.e.CdS/TiO_(2) hollow microspheres(HS),were dedicatedly designed to boost overall photocatalytic efficiency.TiO_(2) nanoparticles were in-situ decorated on the inside and outside the shell of Cd S HS,ensuring close contact between TiO_(2) and CdS.The CdS/TiO2 HS with abundant mesopores inside of the shell boost the light absorption via multiscattering effect as well as accessible to reactions in all directions.The heterojunction was scrutinized and the charge transfer across it was revealed by in-situ irradiated X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(ISI-XPS).Ultimately,the charge transfer in this composite was determined to follow stepscheme mechanism,which not only facilitates the separation of charge carriers but also preserves strong redox ability.Benefited from the intimate linkage between Cd S and TiO_(2) and the favorable step-scheme heterojunction,enhanced photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction activity was accomplished.The CH4 yield rate of CdS/TiO_(2) reaches 27.85μmol g^(–1) h^(–1),which is 145.6 and 3.8 times higher than those of pristine CdS and TiO_(2),respectively.This work presents a novel insight into constructing step-scheme photocatalytic system with desirable performance.Zhongliao Wang Yifan Chen Liuyang Zhang Bei Cheng Jiaguo Yu Jiajie Fan 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,56,21:7
7Hetero-phase MoC-Mo_(2)C nanoparticles for enhanced photocatalytic H_(2)-production activity of TiO_(2)显示文摘Hexagonal molybdenum carbide(Mo_(2)C)as an effective non-noble cocatalyst is intensively researched in the photocatalytic H_(2)-evolution field owing to its Pt-like H^(+)-adsorption ability and good conductivity.However,hexagonal Mo_(2)C-modified photocatalysts possess a limited H_(2)-evolution rate because of the weak H-desorption ability.Tofurther improve the activity,cubic MoC was introduced into Mo_(2)C toform the carbon-modified MoC-Mo_(2)C nanoparticles(MoC-Mo_(2)C@C)by a calcination method.The resultant MoC-Mo_(2)C@C(ca.5 nm)was eventually coupled with Ti0_(2)to acquire high-efficiency Ti0_(2)/MoC-Mo_(2)C@C by electrostatic self-assembly.The highest H_(2)-generation rate of Ti0_(2)/MoC-Mo_(2)C@C reached of 918μmol·h^(-1)·g^(-1)which was 91.8,2.7,and 1.5 times than that of the Ti0_(2),TiO_(2)/MoC@C,and Ti0_(2)/Mo_(2)C@C,respectively.The enhanced rate of Ti0_(2)attributes to the carbon layer as cocatalyst to transmit electrons and the hetero-phase MoC-Mo_(2)C as H_(2)-generation active sites to boost H_(2)-evolution reaction.This research offers a novel insight to design photocatalytic materials for energy applications.Jinfeng Liu Ping Wang Jiajie Fan Huogen Yu Jiaguo Yu 2021Nano Research2021,14,4:6
8Short-term propamocarb exposure induces hepatic metabolism disorder associated with gut microbiota dysbiosis in adult male zebrafish显示文摘Propamocarb (PM) is a pesticide that is widely used to protect cucumbers and other plants from downy mildew.Recently,some studies indicated that PM exposure had potential toxic effects in animals.In this study,adult male zebrafish were exposed to 100 and 1000 μg/l PM for 7 days to assess its effects on metabolism and the gut microbiota.We observed a significant decrease in triglyceride (TG) in the livers of zebrafish that were exposed to 1000 μg/l PM for 7 days.At the same time,some genes related to glycolysis and lipid metabolism in the livers of zebrafish,including hexokinase-1 (HK1),pyruvate kinase (PK),acyi-CoA oxidase (Aco),peroxisome proliferator activated receptor alpha (Ppar-α),apolipoprotein A-Ⅳ-like (Apo),Acetyl CoA carboxylase-1 (Acc1),diacylglycerol acyltransferase (Dgat),and fatty acid synthase (Fas),were also decreased significantly after PM exposure.Based on GC-MS metabolomics analysis,a total of 48 metabolites changed significantly in the 1000 μg/l PM treatment group in comparison with the control group.These altered metabolites were mainly associated with the glycolysis,amino acid metabolism,and lipid metabolism pathways.Interestingly,we further found that the 1000 μg/l PM treatment group also showed significant elevations in Proteobacteria,Bacteroidetes,and Firmicutes at the phylum level.Sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene in the V3-V4 region also showed a significant change in the abundance and diversity of the gut microbiota in the 1000 μg/l PM treatment group.Our results indicated that exposure to PM for a short time could induce hepatic metabolic disorders and gut microbiota dysbiosis in adult male zebrafish.Rui Zhang Zihong Pan Xiaoyu Wang Manlu Shen Jiajie Zhou Zhengwei Fu Yuanxiang Jin 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,1:6
9Elderly healthcare service at the community health centers in the Pearl River Delta region,China显示文摘Objective:The recent population census showed China had officially become a graying society.In the meantime,China also faces a growing burden of non-communicable diseases.Since 2009,a series of policies have been implemented to enhance primary care at the community level.This study describes the elderly care services provided in the differently organized community health centers(CHCs).Methods:It covered 13 CHCs of six cities located within the Pearl River Delta(PRD)region.In-depth interviews were conducted with a total of 59 health administrators,CHC managers,and CHC doctors regarding elderly care.Results:The study found that accessibility of healthcare for elders has been improved due to the development of health insurance schemes as well as preferential policy to encourage the CHC utilization by the elderly.All the CHCs provide health examinations and chronic disease management to the permanent elderly within their catchment district.However,some preventative care such as fall prevention,immunization and mental health management are not provided.Conclusion:Key barriers include low capacity of health service providers in the CHCs,and a lack of government investment in CHCs.Our report provides an empirical evidence for the health care reform in China.NAN YANG XIAOLIN WEI HAITAO LI ZHENZHEN ZHANG JAMIE RODAS SAMUEL YS WONG MARTIN CS WONG YANG GAO JIAJI WANG DONALD KT LI JINLING TANG SIAN GRIFFITHS 2013Family Medicine and Community Health2013,1,1:5
10Efficacy of Chinese herbal medicine in functional dyspepsia: A meta-analysis of randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Chinese herbal medicine(CHM)for the treatment of functional dyspepsia(FD).Methods:Web of Science,PubMed,EMBASE,Cochrane Library,and four other Chinese electronic databases,including China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Chinese Biological Medical Database(CBM),Chinese Scientific Journals Database(VIP),and WanFang Database were used to search(up to Feb,2016)for randomized,double-blind,placebocontrolled trials recruiting adults with FD treated with CHM.Study selection,data extraction,quality assessment,and data analyses were conducted based on Cochrane standards using Review Manager software.Results:Fourteen publications(1424 patients)were included.Evidence revealed that CHM was more efficacious than the placebo in improving global dyspepsia symptoms(RR,1.45;95%CI,1.31e1.60),Chinese medicine syndrome(CMS)(RR,1.36;95%CI,1.23e1.50),and quality of life(SMD,0.30;95%CI,0.15e0.45)in FD patients.Furthermore,the difference in the incidence of adverse events between CHM and placebo groups had no statistical significance(RR,1.06;95%CI,0.66e1.70).Conclusion:This meta-analysis demonstrates that CHM has a therapeutic potential in treating FD with a certain safety.However,due to the restricted number of trials included,wellplanned,long-term studies are necessary to provide credible evidence.Yu Guo Jiajie Zhu Xiaolan Su Jianqin Yang Yijie Li Qingguo Wang Wei Wei 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2016,3,3:4
11Carbon-coated cubic-phase molybdenum carbide nanoparticle for enhanced photocatalytic H2-evolution performance of TiO_(2)显示文摘Conventional hexagonal dimolybdenum carbide(Mo2 C) as a good cocatalyst has been widely applied for the enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen production of various photocatalysts. Compared with the hexagonal Mo2 C, however, the investigation about cubic molybdenum carbide(Mo C) is still very limited in photocatalytic field. In this study, carbon-coated cubic molybdenum carbide(MoC@C) nanoparticle was synthesized and used as an effective cocatalyst to improve the H2-evolution efficiency of Ti O2. The cubic MoC@C can be obtained by adjusting the mass ratio of C3 N3(NH2)3 to(NH4)6 Mo7 O(24)(2:1) and controlling the calcination temperature to 800 °C. When the above cubic MoC@C nanoparticles were evenly loaded on the Ti O2 via a sonication-assisted deposition, a homogeneous composite of TiO2/MoC@C was formed due to the strong coupling interface between TiO2 and cubic MoC nanoparticles. More importantly, the highest H2-production rate of Ti O-12/MoC@C reached 504 μmol hg^(-1)(AQE=1.43%), which was 50 times as high as that of the pure TiO2. The enhanced performance of TiO2/MoC@C can be attributed to the synergistic effect of carbon layer as an electron mediator and the cubic MoC as interfacial H2-evolution active sites. 12LincRNA1230 inhibits the differentiation of mouse ES cells towards neural progenitors显示文摘In vitro, mouse embryonic stem(ES) cells can differentiate into many somatic cell types, including neurons and glial cells. When cultured in serum-free medium, ES cells convert spontaneously and efficiently to a neural fate. Previous studies have shown that the neural conversion of mouse ES cells includes both the participation of neural-specific transcription factors and the regulation of epigenetic modifications. However, the intracellular mechanism underlying this intrinsic transition still remains to be further elucidated. Herein, we describe a long intergenic non-coding RNA, Linc RNA1230, which participates in the regulation of the neural lineage specification of mouse ES cells. The ectopic forced expression of Linc RNA1230 dramatically inhibited mouse ES cells from adopting a neural cell fate, while Linc RNA1230 knockdown promoted the conversion of mouse ES cells towards neural progenitors. Mechanistic studies have shown that Linc RNA1230 inhibits the activation of early neural genes, such as Pax6 and Sox1, through the modulation of bivalent modifications(tri-methylation of histone3 lysine4 and histone3 lysine27) at the promoters of these genes. The interaction of Linc RNA1230 with Wdr5 blocked the localization of Wdr5 at the promoters of early neural genes, thereby inhibiting the enrichment of H3K4me3 modifications at these loci. 13Software Backdoor Analysis Based on Sensitive Flow Tracking and Concolic Execution显示文摘In order to effectively detect and analyze the backdoors this paper introduces a method named Backdoor Analysis based on Sensitive flow tracking and Concolic Execution(BASEC).BASEC uses sensitive flow tracking to effectively discover backdoor behaviors, such as stealing secret information and injecting evil data into system, with less false negatives. With concolic execution on predetermined path, the backdoor trigger condition can be extracted and analyzed to achieve high accuracy. BASEC has been implemented and experimented on several software backdoor samples widespread on the Internet, and over 90% of them can be detected. 14Physical Mechanism and Performance Factors of Metal Oxide Based Resistive Switching Memory:A Review显示文摘This review summarizes the mechanism and performance of metal oxide based resistive switching memory The origin of resistive switching(RS) behavior can be roughly classified into the conducting filament type and the interface type. Here,we adopt the filament type to study the metal oxide based resistive switching memory,which considers the migration of metallic cations and oxygen vacancies,as well as discuss two main mechanisms including the electrochemical metallization effect(ECM) and valence change memory effect(VCM). 15YR36/WKS1-Mediated Phosphorylation of PsbO,an Extrinsic Member of Photosystem Ⅱ,Inhibits Photosynthesis and Confers Stripe Rust Resistance in Wheat显示文摘Wheat stripe rust,due to infection by Puccinia striiformis f.sp.tritici(Pst),is a devastating disease that causes significant global grain yield losses.Yr36,which encodes Wheat Kinase START1(WKS1),is an effec-tive high-temperature adult-plant resistance gene and confers resistance to a broad spectrum of Pst races.We previously showed that WKS1 phosphorylates the thylakoid ascorbate peroxidase protein and reduces its ability to detoxify peroxides,which may contribute to the accumulation of reactive oxygen species(ROS).WKS1-mediated Pst resistance is accompanied by leaf chlorosis in Pst-infected regions,but the un-derlying mechanisms remain elusive.Here,we show that WKS1 interacts with and phosphorylates PsbO,an extrinsic member of photosystem Ⅱ(PS Ⅱ),to reduce photosynthesis,regulate leaf chlorosis,and confer Pst resistance.A point mutation in PsbO-A1 or reduction in its transcript levels by RNA interference resulted in chlorosis and reduced Pst sporulation.Biochemical analyses revealed that WKS1 phosphorylates PsbO at two conserved amino acids involved in physical interactions with PS Ⅱ and reduces the binding affinity of PsbO with PS Ⅱ.Presumably,phosphorylated PsbO proteins dissociate from the PS Ⅱ complex and then un-dergo rapid degradation by cysteine and aspartic proteases.Taken together,these results demonstrate that perturbations of wheat PsbO by point mutation or phosphorylation by WKS1 reduce the rate of photo-synthesis and delay the growth of Pst pathogen before the induction of ROS.Shuai Wang Qiu-Ping Li Jianfeng Wang Yan Yan Guo-Liang Zhang Yan Yan Huifei Zhang Jiajie Wu Feng Chen Xiaojie Wang Zhensheng Kang Jorge Dubcovsky Jin-Ying Gou 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,12:3
16Complex Precipitation Mechanism of Ti-Nb-V Microalloyed Bainitic Base High Strength Steel显示文摘The addition of high Ti(>0.1%) in microalloyed bainitic high strength steel was designed, and the precipitation morphology of steels with different Ti, Nb, and V contents was studied by utilizing transmission electron microscopy(TEM). Based on the classical nucleation-crystal growth theory and the Johnson-Mehl-Avrami equation, the precipitation thermodynamic and kinetic model of second phase particles in austenite was established in the form of(Nbx,Vy,Tiz)C, and the complex precipitation mechanism of second phase particles was emphatically studied. The experimental results show that the complex precipitation particles could be divided into two categories: the coarser particles with about 100 nm grain size and the independent complex precipitation particles in the form of(Nb,V,Ti)C with 35-50 nm grain size. The latter has a better precipitation strengthening effect, and the calculated PTT curve shows a typical 'C' shape. When the deformed storage energy is 3 820 J·mol^-1, the fastest precipitation temperature of calculated PTT curve is 925℃, and the calculated result is essentially consistent with experimental values. 17Simulation of Coupling Process of Flexible Needle Insertion into Soft Tissue Based on ABAQUS显示文摘In order to get to the desired target inside the body,it is essential to investigate the needle-tissue coupling process and calculate the tissue deformation.A cantilever beam model is presented to predicting the deflection and bending angle of flexible needle by analyzing the distribution of the force on needle shaft during the procedure of needle insertion into soft tissue.Furthermore,a finite element(FE)coupling model is proposed to simulate the needle-tissue interactive process.The plane and spatial models are created to relate the needle and tissue nodes.Combined with the cantilever beam model and the finite element needle-tissue coupling model,the simulation of needle-tissue interaction was carried out by the ABAQUS software.The comparing experiments are designed to understand the needle-tissue interactions,by which the same points in the experiments and simulation are compared and analyzed.The results show that the displacements in x and z directions in the simulation can accord with the experiments,and the deformation inside the tissue mainly occurs in the axial direction.The study is beneficial to the robot-assisted and virtual needle insertion procedure,and to help the physicians to predict the inside tissue deformation during the treatments.Linze Wang Dedong Gao Jiajie Fu Yuzhou Luo Shijian Zhao 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,8:3
18Nanoscale monitoring of mitochondria and lysosome interactions for drug screening and discover显示文摘Technology advances in genomics,proteomics,and metabolomics largely expanded the pool of potential therapeutic targets.Compared with the in vitro setting,cell-based screening assays have been playing a key role in the processes of drug discovery and development.Besides the commonly used strategies based on colorimetric and cell viability,we reason that methods that capture the dynamic cellular events will facilitate optimal hit identification with high sensitivity and specificity.Herein,we propose a live-cell screening strategy using structured illumination microscopy (SIM) combined with an automated cell colocalization analysis software,CellprofilerTM,to screen and discover drugs for mitochondria and lysosomes interaction at a nanoscale resolution in living cells.This strategy quantitatively benchmarks the mitochondria-lysosome interactions such as mitochondria and lysosomes contact (MLC) and mitophagy.The automatic quantitative analysis also resolves fine changes of the mitochondria-lysosome interaction in response to genetic and pharmacological interventions.Super-resolution live-cell imaging on the basis of quantitative analysis opens up new avenues for drug screening and development by targeting dynamic organelle interactions at the nanoscale resolution,which could facilitate optimal hit identification and potentially shorten the cycle of drug discovery.Qixin Chen Xintian Shao Zhiqi Tian Yang Chen Payel Mondal Fei Liu Fengshan Wang Peixue Ling Weijiang He Kai Zhang Zijian Guo Jiajie Diao 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:2

20Primary health care, a concept to be fully understood and implemented in current China’s health care reform显示文摘The English concept“primary health care”(PHC)has been misunderstood and wrongly interpreted in Chinese as“entry-level health care”(初级卫生保健)for more than a half century.On the other hand,specialty care was considered“advanced health care.”This misconception of PHC permeated the government and the health care field with many negative consequences for China’s vision of its health care and development strategy,in areas such as government policy-making,health care financing,infrastructure planning,and health care workforce training.This article elucidates how PHC has been misconstrued and translated into“entry-level health care”in China and why it is a wrong interpretation of the PHC concept from various angles,including the basic English meaning of“primary”and“health care,”the concept of comprehensive PHC,the global PHC experience,and the harmful consequences of the misconception in China’s PHC development and in society at large.China’s current new health care reform toward a PHC-centered health system has made significant early achievements,but also faces huge challenges,including the widespread and ingrained misconception of PHC.It is hoped that academic scholars in the health care field,medical professionals,and officials in the government will gain clearer insight into the PHC concept and rectify its harmful effects on PHC development in various sectors,and promote advancement of meaningful health care reform applicable to the masses.Guoping Xu Jiaji Wang 2015Family Medicine and Community Health2015,3,3:2
