1The intrinsic mechanism of corrosion resistance for FCC high entropy alloys显示文摘The concept of high entropy alloys(HEAs) or multi-principal component alloys has inspired a great progress of physical metallurgy along with several unusual phenomena. The high corrosion resistance of HEAs was frequently mentioned but without convincing explanations. In this paper, the intrinsic mechanism of corrosion resistance in FCC HEAs was revealed by designing equal atomic alloys with single solid solution phase. 3Osteogenic effects of antihypertensive drug benidipine on mouse MC3T3-E1 cells in vitro显示文摘Hypertension is a prevalent systemic disease in the elderly,who can suffer from several pathological skeletal conditions simultaneously,including osteoporosis.Benidipine(BD),which is widely used to treat hypertension,has been proved to have a beneficial effect on bone metabolism.In order to confirm the osteogenic effects of BD,we investigated its osteogenic function using mouse MC3T3-E1 preosteoblast cells in vitro.The proliferative ability of MC3T3-E1 cells was significantly associated with the concentration of BD,as measured by methylthiazolyldiphenyl-tetrazolium bromide(MTT)assay and cell cycle assay.With BD treatment,the osteogenic differentiation and maturation of MC3T3-E1 cells were increased,as established by the alkaline phosphatase(ALP)activity test,matrix mineralized nodules formation,osteogenic genetic test,and protein expression analyses.Moreover,our data showed that the BMP2/Smad pathway could be the partial mechanism for the promotion of osteogenesis by BD,while BD might suppress the possible function of osteoclasts through the OPG/RANKL/RANK(receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB))pathway.The hypothesis that BD bears a considerable potential in further research on its dual therapeutic effect on hypertensive patients with poor skeletal conditions was proved within the limitations of the present study.Baixiang WANG Jiakang YANG Lijie FAN YuWANG Chenqiu ZHANG HuimingWANG 2021Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021,22,5:2

5Design and Fabrication of a Multi-motion Mode Soft Crawling Robot显示文摘This article proposes a novel pneumatic soft actuator,which can perform bending in different directions under positive or negative air pressure.The actuators are composed of multiple airbags,and the design of the airbags is analyzed.A pneumatic soft robot based on these soft actuators is designed and fabricated by 3D printing technology.This robot consists of three soft multi-bladder actuators,one soft sensor,middle layer,bottom layer,front barb,front feet and rear feet.According to the different positive or negative pressure control of the three soft multi-bladder actuators,the robot can perform both linear,crossing and climbing movements.The soft robot has excellent environmental adaptability and can pass through complex environments by combining three modes of motion.Then,we establish the closed-loop automatic control system using soft sensor.The soft sensor can be stretched and compressed as the soft robot's movement.Finally,the automatic control system is verified by linear,crossing and climbing movement experiments.Results indicate that the robot can pass through complex environments under the closed-loop control system.Youxu Chen Bingbing Hu Jiakang Zou Wei Zhang Deshan Wang Guoqing Jin 2020Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,5:1
6A mild phenoxysilyl linker for self-immolative release of antibody-drug conjugates显示文摘Self-immolative linkers have been widely used to construct prodrugs to improve their efficacy and safety.In this study,we report the use of phenoxysilyl linker as a self-immolative unit to prepare antibody-drug conjugates(ADCs).Phenoxysily based ADC Ate-PPS-CA4 was prepared and its release was systematically investigated by mass spectrometry.Biological evaluation showed that Ate-PPS-CA4 displayed the ability to target delivery and self-immolative release the active payload CA4 on PD-L1 positive cells MDA-MB-231.As the same with its payload CA4,it could arrest the cell cycle to the G2/M phase and induced changes in cell morphology at the dose of its IC_(50).The development of this linker with novel drug release mechanisms will expand the methodology to construct ADCs,especially for non-internalizing ADCs by extracellular cleavage.Ding Wei Yurong Mao Huihui Wang Siqi Qu Jiakang Chen Jiusheng Li Biao Jiang Hongli Chen 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5:0

8Anti-PD1 antibody and not anti-LAG-3 antibody improves the antitumor effect of photodynamic therapy for treating metastatic breast cancer显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT)has limited effects in treating metastatic breast cancer.Immune checkpoints can deplete the function of immune cells;however,the expression of immune checkpoints after PDT is unclear.This study investigates whether the limited e±cacy of PDT is due to upregulated immune checkpoints and tries to combine the PDT and immune checkpoint inhibitor to observe the e±cacy.A metastatic breast cancer model was treated by PDT mediated by hematoporphyrin derivatives(HpD-PDT).The anti-tumor effect of HpD-PDT was observed,as well as CD4þT,CD8þT and calreticulin(CRT)by immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence.Immune checkpoints on T cells were analyzed byflow cytometry after HpD-PDT.When combining PDT with immune checkpoint inhibitors,the antitumor effect and immune effect were assessed.For HpD-PDT at 100 mW/cm2 and 40,60 and 80 J/cm2,primary tumors were suppressed and CD4þT,CD8þT and CRT were elevated;however,distant tumors couldn't be inhibited and survival could not be prolonged.Immune checkpoints on T cells,especially PD1 and LAG-3 after HpD-PDT,were upregulated,which may explain the reason for the limited HpD-PDT effect.After PDT combined with anti-PD1 antibody,but not with anti-LAG-3 antibody,both the primary and distant tumors were signi-cantly inhibited and the survival time was prolonged,additionally,CD4þT,CD8þT,IFN-þCD4þT and TNF-þCD4þT cells were signi-cantly increased compared with HpD-PDT.HpD-PDT could not combat metastatic breast cancer.PD1 and LAG-3 were upregulated after HpD-PDT.Anti-PD1 antibody,but not anti-LAG-3 antibody,could augment the antitumor effect of HpD-PDT for treating metastatic breast cancer.Shan Long Yibing Zhao Yuanyuan Xu Bo Wang Haixia Qiu Hongyou Zhao Jing Zeng Defu Chen Hui Li Jiakang Shao Xiaosong Li Ying Gu 2024Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2024,17,1:0
9Enhanced Removal of Phenols by MIZ-Cu Nanozyme Exhibiting Laccase-like Activity and Broader Adaptability to Temperature and pH Conditions显示文摘Phenolic compounds,classified as persistent organic pollutants,pose a significant threat to both human health and environmental safety.Therefore,the efficient removal of phenolic substances from water is of paramount importance.Laccase,a multicopper oxidase,is commonly utilized for the efficient removal of phenolic contaminants from water due to its highly effective catalytic activity towards phenolic compounds.However,natural laccase exhibits certain limitations that impede its practical implementation in industrial settings,including a restricted pH activity range,diminished enzymatic efficacy at elevated temperatures,and substantial cost implications.In this work,we prepared a nanozyme(MIZ-Cu,MIZ:2-methylimidazole)with laccase-like activity by coordinating 2-methylimidazole and copper.This nanozyme overcomes the deactivation issues observed in natural laccase under high temperature and alkaline conditions.The catalytic activity of the MIZ-Cu towards phenolic compounds surpasses that of natural laccase across a wide range of temperature and pH conditions.Under pH=9,80℃,and 500 mmol/L NaCl conditions,the removal rate of four phenols(catechol,hydroquinone,resorcinol,and phloroglucinol)by MIZ-Cu was much higher than that of natural laccase.The results also demonstrate exceptional removal rates in natural aquatic environments,thereby presenting a promising approach for the treatment of phenol-containing wastewater originating from industrial facilities.WANG Yunlong SUN Yue WANG Le ZHANG Hao HU Jiakang LI Yongxin 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,6:0
10N-doped MoS_(2) via assembly transfer on an elastomeric substrate for high-photoresponsivity,air-stable and stretchable photodetector显示文摘As a direct-bandgap semiconductor,single-layer MoS_(2) has gained great attention in optoelectronics,especially wearable photodetectors.However,MoS_(2) exhibits poor photoresponsivity on a stretchable substrate due to intrinsic low carrier density and a large number of scattering centers on polymer substrates.Few air-stable yet strong dopants on MoS_(2) has been reported.In addition,the roughness,hydrophobicity and susceptibility to organic solvents of polymer surface are critical roadblocks in the development of stretchable high-performance MoS_(2) photodetectors.Here,we realize a stretchable and stable photodetector with high photoresponsivity by combining n-type dopant((4-(1,3-dimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl)phenyl)dimethylamine,N-DMBI)with MoS_(2) and assembly transfer technique.It is found electron tends to transfer from N-DMBI to MoS_(2) and the effect is maintained after the integrable photodetector transferred directly by elastic substrate styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene(SEBS),even after being exposed to the air for 20 days,which benifits greatly from the encapsulation of SEBS.The increased carrier density greatly promotes carrier injection efficiency and photogenerated electron–hole separation efficiency at the metal–semiconductor interface,thus offering a significantly improved photoresponsivity in MoS_(2) photodetectors.Moreover,such photodetector shows great durability to stretch,which can remain functional after stretched 100 cycles within its stretch limit.Our strategy opens a new avenue to fabricate high-photoresponsivity stretchable electronics or optoelectronics of two-dimensional(2D)materials.Shuyan Qi Weifeng Zhang Xiaoli Wang Yifan Ding Yan Zhang Jiakang Qiu Ting Lei Run Long Nan Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,11:0

12A real-world study of immune checkpoint inhibitors in advanced triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Background:Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)is the most aggressive type of breast cancer.Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)have been widely used to treat various tumors and have changed the landscape of tumor management,but the data from real-world studies of ICIs for TNBC treatment remain limited.The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of ICIs in the treatment of patients with advanced TNBC in a real-world setting and to explore possible correlates.Methods:The clinical data of advanced TNBC patients who received ICI treatment in the Chinese People's Liberation Army(PLA)General Hospital were collected.Treatment responses,outcomes and adverse events(AEs)were assessed.Results:Eighty-one patients were included in the study.The confirmed objective response rate(ORR)was 32.1%,and the disease control rate(DCR)was 64.2%.The median progression-free survival(PFS)was 4.2 months,and the median overall survival(OS)was 11.0 months.PFS and OS were longer in patients who achieved clinical benefit from ICIs and shorter in patients who received later-line ICIs and higher levels of inflammation;specifically,patients with higher TILs had longer PFS.Overall AEs were tolerable.Conclusions:ICIs are effective in the treatment of advanced TNBC,and the adverse reactions are tolerable.A panel of biomarkers including LDH,ALP,and bNLR were identified to predict the efficacies of ICIs in TNBC treatment.Zheng Zhang Yadi Zhang Chuanling Liu Jiakang Shao Yimeng Chen Yimin Zhu Li Zhang Boyu Qin Ziqing Kong Xixi Wang Yutong Wang Deqin Huang Liqun Liu Yuxin Zhou Ran Tao Zengjie Yang Mei Liu Weihong Zhao 2023Cancer Innovation2023,2,3:0
