Virtual reality training improves balance function显示文摘Virtual reality is a new technology that simulates a three-dimensional virtual world on a computer and enables the generation of visual, audio, and haptic feedback for the full immersion of users. Users can interact with and observe objects in three-dimensional visual space without limitation. At present, virtual reality training has been widely used in rehabilitation therapy for balance dysfunction. This paper summarizes related articles and other articles suggesting that virtual reality training can improve balance dysfunction in patients after neurological diseases. When patients perform virtual reality training, the prefrontal, parietal cortical areas and other motor cortical networks are activated. These activations may be involved in the reconstruction of neurons in the cerebral cortex. Growing evidence from clinical studies reveals that virtual reality training improves the neurological function of patients with spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy and other neurological impairments. These findings suggest that virtual reality training can activate the cerebral cortex and improve the spatial orientation capacity of patients, thus facilitating the cortex to control balance and increase motion function. | Yurong Mao Peiming Chen Le Li Dongfeng Huang | 2014 | Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,17: | 20
Mechanism of Kinect-based virtual reality training for motor functional recovery of upper limbs after subacute stroke显示文摘The Kinect-based virtual reality system for the Xbox 360 enables users to control and interact with the game console without the need to touch a game controller, and provides rehabilitation training for stroke patients with lower limb dysfunctions. However, the underlying mechanism remains unclear. In this study,18 healthy subjects and five patients after subacute stroke were included. The five patients were scanned using functional MRI prior to training,3 weeks after training and at a12-week follow-up,and then compared with healthy subjects. The Fugl-Meyer Assessment and Wolf Motor Function Test scores of the hemiplegic upper limbs of stroke patients were significantly increased 3 weeks after training and at the 12-week follow-up.Functional MRI results showed that contralateral primary sensorimotor cortex was activated after Kinect-based virtual reality training in the stroke patients compared with the healthy subjects.Contralateral primary sensorimotor cortex, the bilateral supplementary motor area and the ipsilateral cerebellum were also activated during hand-clenching in all 18 healthy subjects. Our findings indicate that Kinect-based virtual reality training could promote the recovery of upper limb motor function in subacute stroke patients, and brain reorganization by Kinect-based virtual reality training may be linked to the contralateral sensorimotor cortex. | Xiao Bao Yurong Mao Qiang Lin Yunhai Qiu Shaozhen Chen Le Li Ryan S.Cates Shufeng Zhou Dongfeng Huang | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,31: | 15
Electrochemical sensing of ATP with synthetic cyclophane as recognition element显示文摘A new electrochemical sensor for ATP with synthetic cyclophane stably attached onto single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) as the recognition elements is described. UV-vis and cyclic voltammetric results demonstrate that ATP may interact with the synthetic cyclophane recognition elements to form a stable adduct mainly through electrostatic, π-π stacking and donor-acceptor interactions. Such interactions eventually lead to a decrease in the peak currents of the cyclophane recognition elements attached onto the SWNT electronic transducer, which could be used for electrochemical sensing of ATP. Under the conditions employed here, the ratio of the decrease in the anodic peak current is linear with ATP concentration within a concentration range from 10 to 120 μM with a linear coefficiency of 0.993. This study may offer a new and simple electrochemical approach for effective sensing of ATP. | MA YuRong ZHAO Hong YU Ping SU Lei ZHANG DeQing MAO LanQun | 2009 | Science China Chemistry2009,52,6: | 2

A mild phenoxysilyl linker for self-immolative release of antibody-drug conjugates显示文摘Self-immolative linkers have been widely used to construct prodrugs to improve their efficacy and safety. In this study,we report the use of phenoxysilyl linker as a self-immolative unit to prepare antibody-drug conjugates(ADCs).Phenoxysily based ADC Ate-PPS-CA4 was prepared and its release was systematically investigated by mass spectrometry.Biological evaluation showed that Ate-PPS-CA4 displayed the ability to target delivery and self-immolative release the active payload CA4 on PD-L1 positive cells MDA-MB-231.As the same with its payload CA4,it could arrest the cell cycle to the G2/M phase and induced changes in cell morphology at the dose of its IC_(50).The development of this linker with novel drug release mechanisms will expand the methodology to construct ADCs,especially for non-internalizing ADCs by extracellular cleavage. | Ding Wei Yurong Mao Huihui Wang Siqi Qu Jiakang Chen Jiusheng Li Biao Jiang Hongli Chen | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5: | 0
Recent advances in the translation of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics science for drug discovery and development显示文摘Drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics(DMPK) is an important branch of pharmaceutical sciences. The nature of ADME(absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion) and PK(pharmacokinetics) inquiries during drug discovery and development has evolved in recent years from being largely descriptive to seeking a more quantitative and mechanistic understanding of the fate of drug candidates in biological systems.Tremendous progress has been made in the past decade, not only in the characterization of physiochemical properties of drugs that influence their ADME,target organ exposure, and toxicity, but also in the identification of design principles that can minimize drug-drug interaction(DDI) potentials and reduce the attritions. The importance of membrane transporters in drug disposition, efficacy, and safety,as well as the interplay with metabolic processes, has been increasingly recognized.Dramatic increases in investments on new modalities beyond traditional small and large molecule drugs, such as peptides, oligonucleotides, and antibody-drug conjugates, necessitated further innovations in bioanalytical and experimental tools for the characterization of their ADME properties. In this review,we highlight some of the most notable advances in the last decade, and provide future perspectives on potential major breakthroughs and innovations in the translation of DMPK science in various stages of drug discovery and development. | Yurong Lai Xiaoyan Chu Li Di Wei Gao Yingying Guo Xingrong Liu Chuang Lu Jialin Mao Hong Shen Huaping Tang Cindy Q.Xia Lei Zhang Xinxin Ding | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,6: | 0
Study of Quality Standards of Xiao’er Qingre Enema Preparation in Hospitals显示文摘Objective:To establish the quality standards for the preparation of Xiao’er Qingre enema in hospitals.Method:Thin-layer chromatography(TLC)was used to identify Radix Isatidis and Glycyrrhizae in the prescription. The content of(R,S)-Goitrin was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Results:In TLC identification, there was no interference between the negative controls of Radix Isatidis and glycyrrhizae, and the spots were well-separated.The HPLC results of(R,S)-Goitrin showed a good linear relationship between the peak area and concentration within the range of 0.476-95.2μg·mL-1(r=0.9999).Conclusion:The TLC and HPLC methods established in this experiment are simple, reproducible, and specific, making them suitable for the quality control Xiao’er Qingre enema preparation in hospitals. | Ruizhong Wang Yurong Zhang Junjun Mao Shaoli Liang Yan Wu Lin Chen | 2024 | Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2024,8,1: | 0
