| 1 | Understanding the interfacial behaviors of benzene alkylation with butene using chloroaluminate ionic liquid catalyst: A molecular dynamics simulation显示文摘To better understand the benzene alkylation with chloroaluminate ionic liquids(ILs) as catalyst, the interfacial properties between the benzene/butene binary reactants and chloroaluminate ILs with varying cation alkyl chain length and different anions were investigated using molecular dynamics(MD) simulations. The results indicate that ILs can obviously improve the interfacial width, solubility and diffusion of reactants compared to H_(2)SO_(4). The longer alkyl chains of cations present a density enrichment at the interface and protrude into the binary reactants phase. Furthermore, the ILs consisting of 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium cations([Omim]^(+)) and the stronger acidity heptachlorodialuminate anions([Al_(2)Cl_(7)]^(-)) are more beneficial to promote the interfacial width and facilitate the dissolution and diffusion of benzene in both the IL bulk and the interfacial region in comparison to the ones with shorter alkyl chains cations and weaker acidity anions. The information gives us a better guideline for the design of ILs for benzene alkylation. | Jialei Sha Chenyi Liu Zhihong Ma Weizhong Zheng Weizhen Sun Ling Zhao | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,54,2: | 0 |
| 2 | Understanding the interfacial properties of benzene alkylation with 1-dodecene catalyzed by immobilized chloroaluminate ionic liquids using molecular dynamics simulation显示文摘Benzene alkylation catalyzed by immobilized ionic liquids(ILs)on solid carriers is considered as a heterogeneous reaction,in which the interfacial properties play an important role.Hence, the interfacial characteristics between benzene/1-dodecene mixture and immobilized chloroaluminate ILs with different alkyl chain length on the silica substrate were investigated by molecular dynamics simulation. The grafted ILs can obviously promote the enrichment of benzene near the interface, leading to a higher ratio of benzene to dodecene, and the interfacial width increases slightly with increased alkyl chain of grafted cations. At the same time, the grafted cations can also enhance the benzene diffusion and suppress the dodecene diffusion at the interface, which probably helps to inhibit the inactivation of catalysts. This work provides deeply insights into the rational design of novel immo-bilized ILs catalysts for the benzene alkylation. | Weizhong Zheng Jialei Sha Weizhen Sun Ling Zhao | 2023 | Green Chemical Engineering2023,4,3: | 0 |
| 3 | Calcium/calmodulin modulates salt responses by binding a novel interacting protein SAMS1 in peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)显示文摘The Ca^(2+)/CaM signal transduction pathway helps plants adapt to environmental stress. However, our knowledge on the functional proteins of C^(2+)/CaM pathway in peanut(Arachis hypogeae L.) remains limited. In the present study, a novel calmodulin 4(CaM4)-binding protein S-adenosyl-methionine synthetase 1(SAMS1) in peanut was identified using a yeast two-hybrid assay. Expression of AhSAMS1was induced by Ca^(2+), ABA, and salt stress. To elucidate the function of AhSAMS1, physiological and phenotypic analyses were performed with wild-type and transgenic materials. Overexpression of AhSAMS1increased spermidine and spermidine synthesis while decreased the contents of ethylene, thereby eliminating excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS) in transgenic lines under salt stress. AhSAMS1 reduced uptake of Na+and leakage of K+from mesophyll cells, and was less sensitive to salt stress during early seedling growth, in agreement with the induction of SOS and NHX genes Transcriptomics combined with epigenetic regulation uncovered relationships between differentially expressed genes and differentially methylated regions, which raised the salt tolerance and plants growth. Our findings support a model in which the role of AhSAMS1 in the ROS-dependent regulation of ion homeostasis was enhanced by Ca^(2+)/CaM while AhSAMS1-induced methylation was regulated by CaM, thus providing a new strategy for increasing the tolerance of plants to salt stress. | Sha Yang Jianguo Wang Zhaohui Tang Yan Li Jialei Zhang Feng Guo Jingjing Meng Feng Cui Xinguo Li Shubo Wan | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,1: | 0 |
| 4 | Effects of Allelochemicals on Root Growth and Pod Yield in Response to Continuous Cropping Obstacle of Peanut显示文摘Continuous cropping(CC)obstacle is a major threat in legume crops production;however, the underlying mechanisms concerning the roles allelochemicals play in CC obstacle are poorly understood. The current 2-year study was conducted to investigate the effects of different kinds and concentrations of allelochemicals,p-hydroxybenzoic acid(H),cinnamic acid(C),phthalic acid(P),and their mixtures(M)on peanut root growth and productivity in response to CC obstacle.Treatment with H,C,P,and M significantly decreased the plant height, dry weight of the leaves and stems, number of branches, and length of the lateral stem compared with control.Exogenous application of H,C,P,and M inhibited the peanut root growth as indicated by the decreased root morphological characters. The allelochemicals also induced the cell membrane oxidation even though the antioxidant enzymes activities were significantly increased in peanut roots.Meanwhile, treatment with H,C,P,and M reduced the contents of total soluble sugar and total soluble protein.Analysis of ATPase activity, nitrate reductase activity, and root system activity revealed that the inhibition effects of allelochemicals on peanut roots might be due to the decrease in activities of ATPase and NR,and the inhibition of root system.Consequently, allelochemicals significantly decreased the pod yield of peanut compared with control. Our results demonstrate that allelochemicals play a dominant role in CC obstacle-induced peanut growth inhibition and yield reduction through damaging the root antioxidant system, unbalancing the osmolytes accumulation, and decreasing the activities of root-related enzymes. | Zhaohui Tang Feng Guo Li Cui Qingkai Li Jialei Zhang Jianguo Wang Sha Yang Jingjing Meng Xinguo Li Ping Liu Shubo Wan | 2023 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,1: | 0 |
