1Untangling the contributions of meteorological conditions and human mobility to tropospheric NO_(2) in Chinese mainland during the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020显示文摘In early 2020,unprecedented lockdowns and travel bans were implemented in Chinese mainland to fight COVID-19;which led to a large reduction in anthropogenic emissions.This provided a unique opportunity to isolate the effects from emission and meteorology on tropospheric nitrogen dioxide(N0_(2)).Comparing the atmospheric N0_(2) in 2020 with that in 2017,we found the changes of emission have led to a 49.3±23.5%reduction,which was〜12%more than satellite-observed reduction of 37.8±16.3%.The discrepancy was mainly a result of changes of meteorology,which have contributed to an 8.1±14.2%increase of N02.We also revealed that the emission-induced reduction of N02 has significantly negative correlations to human mobility,particularly that inside the city.The intra-city migration index derived from Baidu Location-Based-Service can explain 40.4%it 17.7%variance of the emission-induced reduction of N0_(2) in 29 megacities,each of which has a population of over 8 million in Chinese mainland.Yuxiang Zhang Haixu Bo Zhe Jiang Yu Wang Yunfei Fu Bingwei Cao Xuewen Wang Jiaqi Chen Rui Li 2021National Science Review2021,8,11:2

3Brain developmental and cortical connectivity changes in transgenic monkeys carrying the human-specific duplicated gene SRGAP2C显示文摘Human-specific duplicated genes contributed to phenotypic innovations during the origin of our own species, such as an enlarged brain and highly developed cognitive abilities. While prior studies on transgenic mice carrying the human-specific SRGAP2C gene have shown enhanced brain connectivity, the relevance to humans remains unclear due to the significant evolutionary gap between humans and rodents. In this study, to investigate the phenotypic outcome and underlying genetic mechanism of SRGAP2C, we generated transgenic cynomolgus macaques (Macaca fascicularis) carrying the human-specific SRGAP2C gene. Longitudinal MRI imaging revealed delayed brain development with region-specific volume changes, accompanied by altered myelination levels in the temporal and occipital regions. On a cellular level, the transgenic monkeys exhibited increased deep-layer neurons during fetal neurogenesis and delayed synaptic maturation in adolescence. Moreover, transcriptome analysis detected neotenic expression in molecular pathways related to neuron ensheathment, synaptic connections, extracellular matrix and energy metabolism. Cognitively, the transgenic monkeys demonstrated improved motor planning and execution skills. 4A bibliometrics visualization analysis and hotspots prediction for natural product on osteoporosis research from 2000 to 2021显示文摘Aim The purpose of this study was to explore the application status of natural products in osteoporosis research and explore its research hotspots and future research directions by analyzing the literature in the field of natural products therapy for osteoporosis from 2000 to 2021.Method Publications on natural products in osteoporosis research were extracted from the Web of Science core collection database.Bibliometrics package in R language,VOSviewer and CiteSpace software were used for visualization analysis.Result From 2000 to 2021,the number of articles on natural products in osteoporosis research was 1596,and the total number of articles increased rapidly.China was the driving force in this field,and the top-contributing institution was Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.Most publications were published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology.While J.K.Xu and Y.Zhang were the most cited and co-cited author.Countries,research institutions and authors in different regions cooperate closely.The hot topics included osteoporosis,differentiation,expression,in vitro,cell,osteogenesis and osteogenesis were the research frontiers in recent years.Conclusion This study conducted a bibliometric visualization analysis on the research status,research hotspots and development trend of natural products in osteoporosis for the first time.In addition,this paper also puts forward suggestions and prospects for the future development of this field,which will help researchers to open up new directions for future research in this field.Ajiao Hou Lin Yang Jiahao Lü Liu Yang Haixue Kuang Hai Jiang 2022Journal of Future Foods2022,2,4:1

6Development of a Prognostic Index for Kidney Cancer Based on Hypoxia Landscape显示文摘Objective:Kidney cancer is a group of cancers occurred in the kidney.Hypoxia is a condition characterized by insuff-cient oxygen supply in the body or specifie organs.It has been proven to play an essential role in the pathogenesis and development of various cancer.However,the roles and mechanisms of hypoxia in kidney cancer have not been investigated clearly.In this study,we comprehensively analyzed the roles of hypoxia in kidney cancer.Methods:The RNA-Seq data of kidney cancer were downloaded from TCGA dataset.The survival of patients with diffentially expressed hypoxia-related genes was analyzed with the survival package.The prognostic value of hypoxia-related genes was evaluated with univariate Cox regression analysis.The correlation of hypoxia-related genes to immune ells infiltration and gene mutation in kidney cancer was assessed.We identifed 7 hypoxia-related genes of kidney cancer,with which we developed a hypoxia-related genes-based prognostic index using multivariate Cox regression analysis to establish the prog-nostic model.Results:The high-risk group showed lower survival compared with the low-risk group.HRGPI was an independent pre-dictor of kidney cancer,and it was associated with malignant stages.Hypoxia-related genes were correlated to activation of inflammatory pathways,infiltration of inflammatory ellls,and expression of inhibitory immune checkpoints,indicat ing that hypoxia was related to im-mune response in kidney cancer.Lastly,we found that hypoxia was related to missense mutation in kidney cancer.Conclusion:Hy-poxia is a risk factor of kidney cancer.It can be regarded as the prognostic indicator and therapeutic target for the treatment of kidney cancer in the future.Wang Hesong Feng Yanyan Wang Ting Feng Yuyin Jiang Haixu Wang Tingjian Huang Guangrui 2021肿瘤预防与治疗2021,34,11:0
7N^(6)-methyladenosine demethylase ALKBH5:a novel regulator of proliferation and differentiation of chicken preadipocytes显示文摘Previous studies have reported that the N^(6)-methyladenosine demethylase ALKBH5 can regulate adipogenesis in humans.However,its function in birds remains unclear.In this study we aimed to explore the expression and function of the ALKBH5 gene in chicken adipose tissue.The results showed that ALKBH5 is widely expressed in various chicken tissues,and the expression of ALKBH5 is relatively higher in abdominal adipose tissue.In addition,the expression of ALKBH5 in abdominal adipose tissue of lean broilers is higher than that in fat broilers at 2 and 3 weeks of age.Moreover,the proliferation and differentiation of preadipocytes are associated with reduced and increased expression of ALKBH5,respectively.We also found that ALKBH5 knockout promotes preadipocyte proliferation,as evidenced by an increase in cell viability,DNA replication activity,G_(1)-S cell cycle progression,and the expressions of Ki67 and PCNA.Furthermore,after knockout of ALKBH5,the lipid droplet accumulation and the expression of PPAR_(γ),A-FABP,and FAS are reduced significantly.Thus,our results indicated that ALKBH5 is a novel regulator of proliferation and differentiation of chicken preadipocytes.Qi Zhang Bohan Cheng Haixu Jiang Huili Zhang Hui Li 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,1:0

10In-situ growth of carbon nanotubes on ZnO to enhance thermoelectric and mechanical properties显示文摘As a high-temperature thermoelectric(TE)material,ZnO offers advantages of non-toxicity,chemical stability,and oxidation resistance,and shows considerable promise as a true ready-to-use module under air conditions.However,poor electrical conductivity and high thermal conductivity severely hinder its application.Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)are often used as a reinforcing phase in composites,but it is difficult to achieve uniform dispersion of CNTs due to van der Waals forces.Herein,we developed an effective in-situ growth strategy of homogeneous CNTs on ZnO nanoparticles by exploiting the chemical vapor deposition(CVD)technology,in order to improve their electrical conductivity and mechanical properties,as well as reducing the thermal conductivity.Meanwhile,magnetic nickel(Ni)nanoparticles are introduced as catalysts for promoting the formation of CNTs,which can also enhance the electrical and thermal transportation of ZnO matrices.Notably,the electrical conductivity of ZnO is significantly boosted from 26 to 79 S·cm^(−1) due to the formation of dense and uniform conductive CNT networks.The lattice thermal conductivity(κ_(L))is obviously declined by the intensification of phonon scattering,resulting from the abundant grain boundaries and interfaces in ZnO-CNT composites.Importantly,the maximum dimensionless figure of merit(zT)of 0.04 at 800 K is obtained in 2.0%Ni-CNTs/ZnO,which is three times larger than that of CNTs/ZnO prepared by traditional ultrasonic method.In addition,the mechanical properties of composites including Vickers hardness(HV)and fracture toughness(K_(IC))are also reinforced.This work provides a valuable reference for dispersing nano-phases in TE materials to enhance both TE and mechanical properties.Shengjie FAN Tingting SUN Meng JIANG Shijia GU Lianjun WANG Haixue YAN Wan JIANG 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,12:0
