| 1 | In situ stable isotopic constraints on dolomitizing fluids for the hydrothermally-originated saddle dolomites at Keping, Tarim Basin显示文摘Detailed characterization of diagenetic fluid behaviour and evolution is commonly hindered by shortage of appropriate and economic methods to carry out in situ analysis in the tiny diagenetic mineral crystals. Using micromill sampling method, this study presents in situ stable isotopic data for the growth zones of saddle dolomite crystals in the hydrothermally-altered dolostones of Upper Cambrian (Furongian) at Keping, Tarim Basin, NW China. These data show minor and large variations in δ13C ( 0.7‰ to 1.5‰ VPDB) and δ18O ( 8.3‰ to 13.8‰ VPDB), respectively, from the cores to outer rims of the dolomite crystals and suggest that saddle dolomites precipitated from dolomitizing fluids with similar carbon sources but oscillatory temperatures during different formation stages. This scenario is confirmed by microthermometry of fluid inclusions within the growth zones of dolomite crystals. | 2 | The Dabie Orogen as the early Jurassic sedimentary provenance: Constraints from the detrital zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating显示文摘The SHRIMP U-Pb ages of detrital zircon from the oldest Mesozoic strata, the Fanghushan Fomation, in the Hefei Basin range from 200 Ma to ca. 2500 Ma, which indicates that the Dabie Orogen as the early Jurassic sedimentary provenance was complex. | 4 | Aberrant translation regulated by METTL1/WDR4-mediated tRNA N7-methylguanosine modification drives head and neck squamous cell carcinoma progression显示文摘Background:Cancer cells selectively promote the translation of oncogenic tran-scripts to stimulate cancer progression.Although growing evidence has revealed that tRNA modifications and related genes participate in this process,their roles in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC)remain largely unchar-acterized.Here,we sought to investigate the function and mechanisms of the transfer RNA(tRNA)N7-methylguanosine(m'G)modification in regulating the occurrence and development of HNSCC.Methods:Cell lost of-function and gain-of function assays,xenograft models,conditional knockout and knockin mouse models were used to study the physi-ological functions of tRNA m'G modification in HNSCC tumorigenesis.tRNA modification and expression profiling,mRNA translation profiling and res-cue assays were performed to uncover the underlying molecular mechanisms.Single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA seq)was conducted to explore the tumor microenvironment changes.Results:The tRNA.m7G methyltransferase complex components Methyltransferase-like 1(METTL1)/WD repeat domain 4(WDR4)were upregulated in HNSCC and associated with a poor prognosis.Functionally,METTL1/WDR4 promoted HNSCC progression and metastasis in cell-based and transgenic mouse models.Mechanistically,ablation of METTL1 reduced the m'G levels of 16 tRNAS,inhibiting the translation of a subset of oncogenic transcripts,including genes related to the phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin(PI3K/AKT/mTOR)signaling pathway.In addition,chemical modulators of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway reversed the effects of Mettll in mouse HNSCC.Furthermore,scRNA-seq results revealed that Mettll knockout in mouse tumor cells altered the immune landscape and cell-cell interaction between the tumor and stromal compartment.Conclusions:The tRNA m?G methyltransferase METTLI was found to promote the development and malignancy of HNSCC through regulating global mRNA translation,including the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway,and found to alter immune landscape.METTLI could be a promising treatment target for HNSCC patients. | Jie Chen Kang Li Jianwen Chen Xiaochen Wang Rongsong Ling Maosheng Cheng Zhi Chen Fangfang Chen Qianting He Shuai Li Caihua Zhang Yizhou Jiang Qianming Chen Anxun Wang Demeng Chen | 2022 | Cancer Communications2022,42,3: | 6 |

| 7 | Nonlinear Prediction with Deep Recurrent Neural Networks for Non-Blind Audio Bandwidth Extension显示文摘Non-blind audio bandwidth extension is a standard technique within contemporary audio codecs to efficiently code audio signals at low bitrates. In existing methods, in most cases high frequencies signal is usually generated by a duplication of the corresponding low frequencies and some parameters of high frequencies. However, the perception quality of coding will significantly degrade if the correlation between high frequencies and low frequencies becomes weak. In this paper, we quantitatively analyse the correlation via computing mutual information value. The analysis results show the correlation also exists in low frequency signal of the context dependent frames besides the current frame. In order to improve the perception quality of coding, we propose a novel method of high frequency coarse spectrum generation to improve the conventional replication method. In the proposed method, the coarse high frequency spectrums are generated by a nonlinear mapping model using deep recurrent neural network. | 8 | Regulating bifunctional flower-like NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene for green EMI shielding and lithium ion storage显示文摘Environment and energy are the eternal hot topics in the world,multiloculated microscale materials have attracted great attention in the field of electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding and lithium ions storage.Herein,a novel flower-like NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite with adjustable structure was fabricated as EMI shielding material and anode material of lithium-ion batteries.NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite is a potential green EMI shielding material.The EMI shielding effectiveness(SE)increases with the increase of graphene content in NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite,and the total EMI SE of NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene with 73.6 wt.%graphene increases from 26.5 to 40.6 d B with the increase of frequency in 2–18 GHz.Furthermore,it exhibits long-life and large capacity lithium storage performance at high current density.The capacity reaches 732.79 m Ah g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1),recovering to more than 139%from the minimum capacity value.After 300 cycles at 0.5 A g^(-1),the capacity increases to 688.5 mAh g^(-1).The initial capacities at 2 and 5 A g^(-1)are 704.9 and 717.8 mAh g^(-1),and remain 297.9 and 203.2 m Ah g^(-1)after 1000 cycles.The distinguished EMI shielding performance and electrochemical performance are mainly ascribed to the structure regulation of NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite,as well as the synergistic effect of graphene and NiFe_(2)O_(4).This research opens up infinite opportunities for the application of multifunctional and interdisciplinary materials. | Lihua Yao Wenqiang Cao Jianguo Zhao Qi Zheng Yuchang Wang Shang Jiang Qiliang Pan Jie Song Youqi Zhu Maosheng Cao | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,32: | 2 |

| 11 | Super-Resolution for Face Image with an Improved K-NN Search Strategy显示文摘Recently, neighbor embedding based face super-resolution(SR) methods have shown the ability for achieving high-quality face images, those methods are based on the assumption that the same neighborhoods are preserved in both low-resolution(LR) training set and high-resolution(HR) training set. However, due to the 'one-to-many' mapping between the LR image and HR ones in practice, the neighborhood relationship of the LR patch in LR space is quite different with that of the HR counterpart, that is to say the neighborhood relationship obtained is not true. In this paper, we explore a novel and effective re-identified K-nearest neighbor(RIKNN) method to search neighbors of LR patch. Compared with other methods, our method uses the geometrical information of LR manifold and HR manifold simultaneously. In particular, it searches K-NN of LR patch in the LR space and refines the searching results by re-identifying in the HR space, thus giving rise to accurate K-NN and improved performance. The inability to customize precise nanostructures, however, has limited the therapeutic efficacy of the prepared nano-DDS to date. Here,we report a structurally defined tandem-responsive chemo-photosensitive co-nanoassembly to eliminate primary breast tumor and prevent lung metastasis. This both-in-one co-nanoassembly is prepared by assembling a biocompatible photosensitive derivative(pheophorbide-diphenylalanine peptide, PPADA) with a hypoxia-activated camptothecin(CPT) prodrug [(4-nitrophenyl) formate camptothecin, NCPT]. According to computational simulations, the co-assembly nanostructure is not the classical core-shell type, but consists of many small microphase regions. Upon exposure to a 660 nm laser,PPA-DA induce high levels of ROS production to effectively achieve the apoptosis of normoxic cancer cells. Subsequently, the hypoxia-activated N-CPT and CPT spatially penetrate deep into the hypoxic region of the tumor and suppress hypoxia-induced tumor metastasis. The method is based on particle velocity and balanced sound energy formulation. A scale factor is employed in amplitude panning system and thus, an overdetermined system of equation is derived in particle velocity equation. To obtain the analytic solution of the overdetermined equation, the sound energy identical formula is considered and then the unique gain factors are estimated. The proposed method is able to reproduce sound source direction and control the distance perception in a flexible two- or three-dimension loudspeaker setup. | 18 | Electrically driven single microwire-based single-mode microlaser显示文摘Engineering the lasing-mode oscillations effectively within a laser cavity is a relatively updated attentive study and perplexing issue in the field of laser physics and applications. Herein, we report a realization of electrically driven single-mode microlaser, which is composed of gallium incorporated zinc oxide microwire (ZnO:Ga MW) with platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs, d ~ 130 nm) covering, a magnesium oxide (MgO) nanofilm, a Pt nanofilm, and a p-type GaN substrate. The laser cavity modes could resonate following the whispering-gallery mode (WGM) among the six side surfaces by total internal reflection, and the single-mode lasing wavelength is centered at 390.5 nm with a linewidth of about 0.18 nm. The cavity quality factor Q is evaluated to about 2169. In the laser structure, the usage of Pt and MgO buffer layers can be utilized to engineer the band alignment of ZnO:Ga/GaN heterojunction, optimize the p-n junction quality and increase the current injection. Thus, the well-designed device structure can seamlessly unite the electron-hole recombination region, the gain medium, and optical microresonator into the PtNPs@ZnO:Ga wire perfectly. Such a single MW microlaser is essentially single-mode regardless of the gain spectral bandwidth. To study the single-mode operation, PtNPs working as superabsorber can engineering the multimode lasing actions of ZnO:Ga MWs even if their dimensions are typically much larger than that of lasing wavelength.
