| 1 | Chalcogenide glass photonic integration for improved 2μm optical interconnection显示文摘In this work,on-chip chalcogenide glass photonic integrations with several fundamental photonic building blocks are designed and fabricated based on the As2 S3 platform for improved 2μm optical interconnection,achieving a broadened wavelength bandwidth and improved fabrication tolerance.A 600 nm thick As2 S3 strip waveguide has low propagation loss of 1.447 dB/cm at 2μm.Broadband vertical coupling is realized by a grating coupler with 4.3 dB coupling loss.A Bragg grating filter,power splitter,Mach–Zander interferometer,and mode converter for on-chip mode division multiplexing(MDM)are also reported at 2μm with reliable performances.Finally,a record high MDM optical interconnection capacity of 3×80 Gbps at 2μm is experimentally demonstrated based on the proposed As2 S3 chip,drawing promising prospects for future photonic integration and high-speed interconnection at the 2μm waveband. | WEIHONG SHEN PINGYANG ZENG ZELIN YANG DI XIA JIANGBING DU BIN ZHANG KE XU ZUYUAN HE AND ZHAOHUI LI | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,9: | 10 |

| 4 | Effect of Rhizobacterium Rhodopseudomonas palustris Inoculation on Stevia rebaudiana Plant Growth and Soil Microbial Community显示文摘There is an increasing concern that the continuous use of chemical fertilizers might lead to harmful effects on soil ecosystem.Accordingly, a biocompatible approach involving inoculation of beneficial microorganisms is presented to promote plant growth and simultaneously minimize the negative effect of chemical fertilizers. In this study, Rhodopseudomonas palustris, a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium(PGPR), was inoculated into both fertilized and unfertilized soils to assess its influence on Stevia rebaudiana plant growth and microbial community in rhizosphere soils in a 122-d field experiment. Soil enzyme assays(dehydrogenase, urease, invertase, and phosphomonoesterase), real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-_qPCR), and a high-throughput sequencing technique were employed to determine the microbial activity and characterize the bacterial community. Results showed that the R.palustris inoculation did not significantly influence Stevia yields and root biomass in either the fertilized or unfertilized soil. Chemical fertilization had strong negative effects on soil bacterial community properties, especially on dehydrogenase and urease activities.However, R. palustris inoculation counteracted the effect of chemical fertilizer on dehydrogenase and urease activities, and increased the abundances of some bacterial lineages(including Bacteroidia, Nitrospirae, Planctomycetacia, Myxococcales, and Legionellales). In contrast, inoculation into the unfertilized soil did not significantly change the soil enzyme activities or the soil bacterial community structure. For both the fertilized and unfertilized soils, R. palustris inoculation decreased the relative abundances of some bacterial lineages possessing photosynthetic ability, such as Cyanobacteria, Rhodobacter, Sphingomonadales, and Burkholderiales. | 6 | Ultralow-weight loading Ni catalyst supported on two-dimensional vermiculite for carbon monoxide methanation显示文摘Nickel-based catalysts represent the most commonly used systems for CO methanation.We have successfully prepared a Ni catalyst system supported on two-dimensional plasma-treated vermiculite(2D-PVMT)with a very low Ni loading(0.5 wt%).The catalyst precursor was subjected to heat treatment via either conventional heat treatment(CHT)or the plasma irradiation method(PIM).The as-obtained CHT-Ni/PVMT and PIM-Ni/PVMT catalysts were characterized with scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray(EDX),X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy(ICP-AES)and high-angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy(HAADF-STEM).Additionally,CHT-NiO/PVMT and PIM-NiO/PVMT catalysts were characterized with hydrogen temperature programmed reduction(H_2-TPR).Compared with CHT-Ni/PVMT,PIM-Ni/PVMT exhibited superior catalytic performance.The plasma treated catalyst PIM-Ni/PVMT achieved a CO conversion of93.5%and a turnover frequency(TOF)of 0.8537 s^(-1),at a temperature of 450°C,a gas hourly space velocity of 6000 ml·g^(-1)·h^(-1),a synthesis gas flow rate of 65 ml·min^(-1),and a pressure of 1.5 MPa.Plasma irradiation may provide a successful strategy for the preparation of catalysts with very low metal loadings which exhibit excellent properties. | Mengjuan Zhang Panpan Li Mingyuan Zhu Zhiqun Tian Jianming Dan Jiangbing Li Bin Dai Feng Yu | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,9: | 3 |
