1Grassland Degradation and Its Control in Region AroundQinghai Lake显示文摘A quite severe degradation was found in all seven types of grasslands in the study area involving 12counties of the northwestern Qinghai Province. The slightly, moderately and severely degraded grasslandsoccupied 49.7%, 32.0% and 18.3% of the area respectively. The major factors resulting in the degradationwere overgrazing, the damages from mice and grasshopper and blown sands, and improper use of grasslands.The measures to deal with these problems should be: 1) to make livestock development in accordancewith grassland carrying capacity for animals; 2) to build more artificial grasslands with a stable and highergraas yield; 3) to put more widely the rotation grazing system into practice; 4) to clear up the poisonousgrass species; and 5) to adopt more effective measures to deal with the damages to grasslands by mice andgrasshoppers.JIANG JIANJUN NI SHAOXIANG GONG AIQI WANG WEIJUN ZHA YONG WANG JIECHENG F. 5Generative adversarial network-based atmospheric scattering model for image dehazing显示文摘This paper presents a trainable Generative Adversarial Network(GAN)-based end-to-end system for image dehazing,which is named the DehazeGAN.DehazeGAN can be used for edge computing-based applications,such as roadside monitoring.It adopts two networks:one is generator(G),and the other is discriminator(D).The G adopts the U-Net architecture,whose layers are particularly designed to incorporate the atmospheric scattering model of image dehazing.By using a reformulated atmospheric scattering model,the weights of the generator network are initialized by the coarse transmission map,and the biases are adaptively adjusted by using the previous round's trained weights.Since the details may be blurry after the fog is removed,the contrast loss is added to enhance the visibility actively.Aside from the typical GAN adversarial loss,the pixel-wise Mean Square Error(MSE)loss,the contrast loss and the dark channel loss are introduced into the generator loss function.Extensive experiments on benchmark images,the results of which are compared with those of several state-of-the-art methods,demonstrate that the proposed DehazeGAN performs better and is more effective.Jinxiu Zhu Leilei Meng Wenxia Wu Dongmin Choi Jianjun Ni 2021Digital Communications and Networks2021,7,2:1

10Imaging ultrafast evolution of subwavelengthsized topography using single-probe structured light microscopy显示文摘Imaging ultrafast processes in femtosecond(fs) laser–material interactions such as fs laser ablation is very important to understand the physical mechanisms involved. To achieve this goal with high resolutions in both spatial and temporal domains, a combination of optical pump–probe microscopy and structured illumination microscopy can be a promising approach, but suffers from the multiple-frame method with a phase shift that is inapplicable to irreversible ultrafast processes such as ablation. Here, we propose and build a wide-field singleprobe structured light microscopy(SPSLM) to image the ultrafast three-dimensional topography evolution induced by fs lasers, where only a single imaging frame with a single structured probe pulse is required for topography reconstruction, benefiting from Fourier transform profilometry. The second harmonic of the fs laser is used as the structured probe light to improve spatial lateral resolution into the subwavelength region of ~478 nm, and the spatial axial and temporal resolutions are estimated to be ~22 nm and ~256 fs, respectively. With SPSLM, we successfully image the ultrafast topography evolution of a silicon wafer surface impacted by single and multiple fs pulses. The variable formation and evolution of the laser induced periodic surface structures during an ultrashort time are visualized and analyzed. 14An Approach for Building a High-Quality Belt and Road显示文摘The Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation has ushered in a new phase featuring the joint promotion of a comprehensive,high-quality Belt and Road construction.Advancing the construction of a high-quality Belt and Road is based not only on the solid achievements of its six years of consolidation and practical cooperation,but also on the guidance of China’s initiatives and proposals,general recognition by the countries along the Belt and Road,as well as the support and recognition from international organizations like the United Nations.However,the uncertainty and instability found in the ever-changing international environment,the suspicion and strategic competition from extraterritorial major countries,and other concrete problems appearing during its construction over the past six years have also posed certain challenges that cannot be ignored.The direction of its high-quality development in this new phase involves China’s proactive selection to face the changing international environment and curtail suspicions from the outside world,as well as to resolve the difficulties and problems it encounters along the way in a timely manner,which will ensure the long-term sustainability of the Belt and Road.Achieving this goal calls for long-term system engineering,wherein China should continue to play a steering role,and the convergence of the interests of the countries along the Belt and Road so as to fuse these nations,each with their own respective resources,closely together by building a regional value chain.In such a closely-knit community,high-quality infrastructure serves as the backbone,while diversified financing institutions and functions serve as the arteries.Meanwhile,institutional building should also be emphasized,which will ensure that the goals for building a high-quality Belt and Road are fulfilled at different levels.Wang Kai Ni Jianjun 2019Contemporary International Relations2019,29,6:0
15Murine brain tissues with human cytomegalovirus infection: a proteomic study显示文摘Objective: To establish two-dimensional electrophoresis profiles with high resolution and reproducibility from murine brain tissues by human cytomegalovirus(HCMV) infection and paired murine brain tissues and to identify the differential expression proteins. Methods: Forty Kunming mice were randomly divided into infection group (20) injected with HCMVAD169 and control group (20) injected with saline into their brain. After 30 days, the murine brain tissues by HCMV infection and paired murine brain tissues were separated by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis(2-DE),analyzed by Image Master 2D software, and identified by peptide mass fingerprint(PMF) and database searching, and make Western blotting analyses the differential expression of individual proteins. Results: Well resolved,reproducible 2-D maps of the above tissues were obtained.Some of the different proteins identified by mass spectrometry(MS) were matched in the SWISS-2D PAGE database, Western blotting analyses were further carried out to verify the differential expression of individual proteins. 20The Stress-strain Analysis for the Linearly Elastic and Power Hardening of Strength Difference Plane Structure of Bars Jointed to a Rigid-body显示文摘The plane structure of bars jointed to a rigid-body is a complex and universal structure.Some other structure of bars can be considered as its special cases. Many material have different stress-strain relation in tension and compression, generally the relation is nonlinear. In this paper,we use the constitutive model of linearly elastic and power hardening of strength difference to analyze plane structure of bars. The displacement method is used to derive the universal expression of calculating stress and strain. The nonlinear equations for computing displacements of the rigid-body has been given and general computing program has been worked out.
