| 6 | Techno-economic analysis of MJ class high temperature Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage(SMES) systems applied to renewable power grids显示文摘High temperature Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage(SMES) systems can exchange energy with substantial renewable power grids in a small period of time with very high efficiency. Because of this distinctive feature, they store the abundant wind power when the power network is congested and release the energy back to the system when there is no congestion. However, considering the cost and lifespan of SMES systems, there is an urgent demand to conduct a cost-benefit analysis to justify its role in smart grid development. This study explores the application and performs economic analysis of a 5 MJ SMES in a practical renewable power system in China based on the PSCAD/EMTDC software. An optimal location of SMES in Zhangbei wind farm is presented using real power transmission parameters. The stabilities of the renewable power grid with and without SMES are discussed. In addition, a financial feasibility study is conducted by comparing the cost and the savings from wind power curtailment of deploying SMES and battery. The economic analysis tries to find the balance between SMES investment cost and wind farm operation cost by using real data over a calendar year. The technical analysis can help guide the optimal allocation of SMES for compensating power system instability with substantial wind power. The paper proposes an Identity-based Proxy Verifiably Encrypted Signature (IPVES) to combine the advantages of a proxy signature and a VES in order to delegate the signing capability of the VES of an entity called the original signer to another entity, called the proxy signer. In this IPVES scheme, the original signer delegates his/her signing capability to the proxy signer. The proxy signer issues a signature by using a proxy signing key, encrypts the signature under a designated public key, and subsequently convinces a verifier that the resulting ciphertext contains such a signature. | 9 | Insight into the formation mechanism and interaction of matrix/TiB whisker textures and their synergistic effect on property anisotropy in titanium matrix composites显示文摘Considerable studies on processed pure titanium and titanium alloys have proved the possibility of prop-erty anisotropy induced by crystallographic textures,but limited information is available for the intrinsic coupling of matrix and reinforcement textures and their synergistic effect on property anisotropy in tita-nium matrix composite(TMCs).In the present work,an advanced EBSD/EDS coupling method was used to investigate the formation mechanism of primaryαand secondaryαtextures in the matrix alloy.It is revealed for the first time that the reinforcement TiB_(w)displays a{100}<010>texture after hot rolling and has little effect on the matrix texture component but weakens texture intensity.Significant anisotropies in the tensile strength and ductility can be all noted at room and high-temperatures,which is the syn-ergistic effect of the matrix texture and the aligned TiB_(w).The mean Schmid factor of each slip system was calculated to evaluate the influence of matrix texture on the minimum active stress of slip deforma-tion in the different tensile directions.The analysis shows that the strong T-type matrix texture results in higher strength but lower ductility when loaded in the transverse direction.Moreover,a generalized shear-lag model was modified to quantitatively evaluate the strengthening contribution of aligned TiB_(w),which decreases with increasing off-axis angle and test temperature.A new parameter,defined as the critical aspect ratio of the off-axis whisker,was proposed to rationalize why the TiB_(w) failure mechanism converts from TiB_(w) fracture to TiB_(w)/matrix interfacial debonding with increasing off-axis angle and test temperature. | Jianwen Le Yuanfei Han Peikun Qiu Shaopeng Li Guangfa Huang Jianwei Mao Weijie Lu | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,15: | 2 |

| 11 | Adsorption of humic acid from aqueous solution on bilayer hexadecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide-modified zeolite显示文摘Surfactant-modified natural zeolites(SMNZ)with different coverage types were prepared by loading hexadecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(HTAB)onto the surface of a natural zeolite.The adsorption behavior of humic acid(HA)on SMNZ was investigated.Results indicate that the adsorbent SMNZ exhibited a higher affinity toward HA than the natural zeolite.HA removal efficiency by SMNZ increased with HTAB loading.Coexisting Ca2+in solution favored HA adsorption onto SMNZ.Adsorption capacity decreased with an increasing solution pH.For typical SMNZ with bilayer HTAB coverage,HA adsorption process is well described by a pseudo-second-order kinetic model.The experimental isotherm data fitted well with the Langmuir model.Calculated maximum HA adsorption capacities for SMNZ with bilayer HTAB coverage at pH 5.5 and 7.5 were 63 and 41 mg·g^(-1),respectively.E2/E3(absorbance at 250 nm to that at 365 nm)and E4/E6(absorbance at 465 nm to that at 665 nm)ratios of the residual HA in solution were lower than that of the original HA solution.This indicates that the HA fractions with high polar functional groups,low molecular weight(MW),and aromaticity had a stronger tendency for adsorption onto SMNZ with bilayer HTAB coverage.Results show that HTABmodified natural zeolite is a promising adsorbent for removal of HA from aqueous solution. | Yanhui ZHAN Jianwei LIN Yanling QIU Naiyun GAO Zhiliang ZHU | 2011 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2011,5,1: | 2 |

| 15 | Daily snow water equivalent product with SMMR,SSM/I and SSMIS from 1980 to 2020 over China显示文摘The reliable knowledge of seasonal snow volume and its trend is very important to understand Earth’s climate system.Thus,a long-time snow water equivalent(SWE)dataset is necessary.This work presents a daily SWE product of 1980-2020 with a linear unmixing method through passive microwave data including SMMR,SSM/I and SSMIS over China after cross-calibration and bias-correction.The unbiased root-mean-square error of snow depth is about 5-7 cm,corresponding to 10-15 mm for SWE,when compared with stations measurements and field snow course data.The spatial patterns and trends of SWE over China present significant regional differences.The overall slope trend presented an insignificant decreasing pattern during 1980-2020 over China;however,there is an obvious fluctuation,i.e.a significant decrease trend during the period 1980-1990,an upward trend from 2005 to 2009,a significant downward trend from 2009 to 2018.The increase of SWE occurred in the Northeast Plain,with an increase trend of 0.2 mm per year.Whereas in the Hengduan Mountains,it presented a downward trend of SWE,up to−0.3 mm per year.In the North Xinjiang,SWE has an increasing trend in the Junggar Basin,while it shows a decreasing trend in the Tianshan and Altai Mountains. | Lingmei Jiang Jianwei Yang Cheng Zhang Shengli Wu Zhen Li Liyun Dai Xiaofeng Li Yubao Qiu | 2022 | Big Earth Data2022,6,4: | 0 |
| 16 | Correlation between prion protein gene codon 129 polymorphism and late-onset Alzheimer's disease显示文摘BACKGROUND:Studies addressing the correlation between prion protein gene codon 129 polymorphism,Alzheimer's disease,and cognitive disorders have mainly focused on Caucasians. However,prion protein gene codon 129 polymorphism is thought to also affect the Chinese Han and Wei populations. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the differences of prion protein gene codon 129 distribution among the elderly Chinese Han,East Asian,and Caucasian populations,and to study the correlation between prion protein gene codon 129 distribution and late-onset Alzheimer's disease. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A gene polymorphism analysis was performed in the Institute of Geriatrics,General Hospital of Chinese PLA between January 2006 and January 2007. PARTICIPANTS:A total of 152 elderly Chinese Han people were selected from the Beijing Troop Cadre's Sanitarium.Among them,60 patients with late-onset Alzheimer's disease,with a mean age of(82±7) years(range 67-94 years) and disease course of(5.9±4.4) years,comprising 44 males with a mean age of(83±7) years and 16 females with a mean age of(78±7) years,were selected for the case group.An additional 92 healthy elderly subjects,with a mean of(76±9) years(range 60-94 years),comprising 76 males with a mean age of(77±9) years and 16 females with a mean age of(70±8) years,were selected for the control group.There were no significant differences in age and gender between the two groups(P>0.05). METHODS:DNA was extracted from peripheral blood leukocytes using routine phenol/chloroform methodology.Prion protein gene codon 129 polymorphism and ApoE polymorphism were measured using PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism.The ApoEεallele was considered the standard for analyzing correlations between prion protein gene codon 129 polymorphism and late-onset Alzheimer's disease. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Prion protein gene codon 129 distribution;correlation between genotypic frequency and allele frequency of prion protein gene codon 129 with Alzheimer's disease; relationship between methionine/methionine genotype of prion protein gene,ApoEε4 allele,gender, and age of Alzheimer's disease patients. RESULTS:Methionine/methionine genotypic frequency of prion protein gene codon 129 was 94.08%in the Chinese elderly population,and the methionine/valine genotypic frequency was 5.92%.However,valine/valine homozygotes were not determined.There was no significant difference in prion protein gene codon 129 polymorphism between the Chinese elderly and East Asian populations(P>0.05).However,there was a significant difference between the Chinese elderly and the Caucasian population(P<0.05).The methionine/methionine genotype for the positive and negative ApoEε4 alleles was a risk factor for increased incidence of Alzheimer's disease,but there was no significant difference between the positives and the negatives(odds ratio =1.33,95%confidence interval=0.32-5.49,P>0.05). | 19 | The first high spatial resolution multi-scale daily SPI and SPEI raster dataset for drought monitoring and evaluating over China from 1979 to 2018显示文摘Standardized Precipitation Index(SPI)and Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index(SPEI),traditionally derived at a monthly scale,are widely used drought indices.To overcome temporalresolution limitations,we have previously developed and published a well-validated daily SPI/SPEI in situ dataset.Although having a high temporal resolution,this in situ dataset presents low spatial resolution due to the scarcity of stations.Therefore,based on the China Meteorological Forcing Dataset,which is composed of data from more than 1,000 ground-based observation sites and multiple remote sensing grid meteorological dataset,we present the first high spatiotemporal-resolution daily SPI/SPEI raster datasets over China.It spans from 1979 to 2018,with a spatial resolution of 0.1°×0.1°,a temporal resolution of 1-day,and the timescales of 30-,90-,and 360-days.Results show that the spatial distributions of drought event characteristics detected by the daily SPI/SPEI are consistent with the monthly SPI/SPEI.The correlation between the daily value of the 12-month scale and the monthly value of SPI/SPEI is the strongest,with linear correlation,Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient,and normalized root mean square error of 0.98,0.97,and 0.04,respectively.The daily SPI/SPEI is shown to be more sensitive to flash drought than the monthly SPI/SPEI.Our improved SPI/SPEI shows high accuracy and credibility,presenting enhanced results when compared to the monthly SPI/SPEI.The total data volume is up to 150 GB,compressed to 91 GB in Network Common Data Form(NetCDF).It can be available from Figshare(http://gffzzd3cc09b8251d45dfsw9bx5fbnkxck6f5q.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/10.6084/m9.figshare.c.5823533)and ScienceDB(http://gffzzd3cc09b8251d45dfsw9bx5fbnkxck6f5q.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/10.57760/sciencedb.j00076.00103). | Rongrong Zhang Virgílio A.Bento Junyu Qi Feng Xu Jianjun Wu Jianxiu Qiu Jianwei Li Wei Shui Qianfeng Wang | 2023 | Big Earth Data2023,7,3: | 0 |
| 20 | KCNH2 regulates the growth and metastasis of pancreatic cancer显示文摘Objective:Due to the characteristics of insidious onset and early metastasis of pancreatic cancer(PC),patients are often diag-nosed at an advanced stage and often delayed in completing surgical resection timely,resulting in poor prognosis.Therefore,this study aims to explore the expression of potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily H member 2(KCNH2)in PC and its relation-ship with clinicopathological parameters and the related mechanisms.Methods:GEPIA database and immunohistochemical staining were used to analyze the difference in KCNH2 expression be-tween PC and adjacent tissue in RNA and protein levels.Chi-squared test was used to evaluate the relationship between KCNH2 expression and clinicopathological features.The Cox regression model was used for multivariate analysis and univariate analysis.Histological diagnosis was performed according to World Health Organization(WHO)criteria to evaluate the relationship between KCNH2 expression and clinicopathological features.Results:KCNH2 expression was upregulated in PC compared with normal pancreatic tissue.In addition,the knockdown of KCNH2 inhibits PC cell proliferation,migration,invasion,and epithelial-mesenchymal transformation and promotes their apopto-sis.In addition,clinical data showed that the abnormal expression of KCNH2 in PC was related to the tumor stage.Patients with high expression of KCNH2 had a poor prognosis.Conclusions:KCNH2 is expected to be a novel targeted molecule in treating PC. | Jinghao Lei Qiang Wang Tengfei Qu Lichao Cha Hanxiang Zhan Jianwei Xu Shanglong Liu Lantian Tian Chuandong Sun Jingyu Cao Fabo Qiu Weidong Guo Bin Zhou | 2023 | Journal of Pancreatology2023,6,3: | 0 |
