1Clinicopathological features and survival analysis of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms: a retrospective study in a single center of China显示文摘Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological features, survival and prognostic factors for gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms(GEP-NENs) in a Chinese population.Methods: We investigated 154 consecutive patients(88 males, 66 females; median age 56 years, age range 9-86 years) diagnosed with GEP-NENs between 2001 and 2013 at The Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. Demographic, clinical and pathological variables and survival data were retrieved.Results: The pancreas was the most common site of involvement(63/154, 40.9%). Tumor size varied from 0.3 to 16.0 cm(median, 1.2 cm). The patients were followed up for a median period of 22 months(range, 1-157 months). The estimated 3- and 5-year overall survival(OS) rates for all patients were 84.0% and 81.9%, respectively. Multivariate analysis showed that larger tumor size, lymphatic metastases and distant metastases were significant predictors for poor survival outcome.Conclusions: Our data provide further information on the clinicopathological features of GEP-NENs in China. 2MnO_(2) cathode materials with the improved stability via nitrogen doping for aqueous zinc-ion batteries显示文摘The research and exploration of manganese-based aqueous zinc-ion batteries have been controversial of cycle stability and mechanism investigation,thus improving the stability and exploring storage mechanism are still the most main issue.Defect engineering has become an effective method to improve cycle stability.Herein,a nitrogen-doped ε-MnO_(2)(MnO_(2)@N)has been prepared using electrochemical deposition and heat treatment under nitrogen atmosphere.As the cathode for zinc-ion batteries,the capacity retention rate of MnO_(2)@N cathode is close to 100%after 500 cycles at 0.5 A g^(-1),while the capacity retention rate for the initial MnO_(2) cathode is 62%.At 5 A g^(-1),the capacity retention rate of MnO_(2)@N cathode is 83%after 1000 cycles,which is much higher than the 27%capacity retention rate for the original MnO_(2) cathode.And it can be found that the oxygen vacancies increase after nitrogen doping,which can improve the conductivity of the MnO_(2)@N cathode.Also,there is Mn-N bond in MnO_(2)@N,which can enhance the electrochemical stability of MnO_(2)@N cathode.In addition,the electrochemical mechanism of MnO_(2)@N cathode has been explored by the CV,GCD and GITT tests.It is found that nitrogen doping promotes the intercalation of H^(+) and the corresponding capacity contribution.Compared with the original MnO_(2) cathode,the diffusion coefficient of H^(+) and Zn^(2+) in MnO_(2)@N cathode increases.Also,the reactions during the charging and discharging process are explored through the ex-situ XRD test.And this work may provide some new ideas for improving the stability of manganese-based zinc-ion batteries.Yanan Zhang Yanpeng Liu Zhenhua Liu Xiaogang Wu Yuxiang Wen Hangda Chen Xia Ni Guohan Liu Juanjuan Huang Shanglong Peng 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1:6
3Au-Ag alloy nanoparticles with tunable cavity for plasmon-enhanced photocatalytic H2 evolution显示文摘Au-Ag alloy nanoparticles with different cavity sizes have great potential for improving photocatalytic performance due to their tunable plasmon effect.In this study,galvanic replacement was combined with co-reduction with the reaction kinetics processes regulated to rapidly synthesize Au-Ag hollow alloy nanoparticles with tunable cavity sizes.The position of the localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR)peak could be effectively adjusted between 490 nm and 713 nm by decreasing the cavity size of the Au-Ag hollow nanoparticles from 35 nm to 20 nm.The plasmon-enhanced photocatalytic H2 evolution of alloy nanoparticles with different cavity sizes was investigated.Compared with pure P25(TiO2),intact and thin-shelled Au-Ag hollow nanoparticles(HNPs)-supported photocatalyst exhibited an increase in the photocatalytic H2 evolution rate from 0.48μmol h^−1 to 4μmol h^−1 under full-spectrum irradiation.This improved photocatalytic performance was likely due to the plasmon-induced electromagnetic field effect,which caused strong photogenerated charge separation,rather than the generation of hot electrons.Xuanyu Yue Juan Hou Haifeng Zhao Pengcheng Wu Yali Guo Qin Shi Long Chen Shanglong Peng Zhiyong Liu Guozhong Cao 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10:4
4Advance in herpes simplex viruses for cancer therapy显示文摘Oncolytic virotherapy is an attractive approach that uses live viruses to selectively kill cancer cells. Oncolytic viruses can be genetically engineered to induce cell lyses through virus replication and cytotoxic protein expression. Herpes simplex virus (HSV) has become one of the most widely clinically used oncolytic agent. Various types of HSV have been studied in basic or clinical research. Combining oncolytic virotherapy with chemotherapy or radiotherapy generally produces synergic action with unclear molecular mechanisms. Arming HSV with therapeutic transgenes is a promising strategy and can be used to complement conventional therapies. As an efficient gene delivery system, HSV has been successfully used to deliver various immuno-modulatory molecules. 5Oxygen vacancies enriched nickel cobalt based nanoflower cathodes: Mechanism and application of the enhanced energy storage显示文摘The rational design of oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of electrode materials for energy storage devices still remains a challenge. Herein, we synthesize nickel cobalt-based oxides nanoflower arrays assembled with nanowires grown on Ni foam via the hydrothermal process followed annealing process in air and argon atmospheres respectively. It is found that the annealing atmosphere has a vital influence on the oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of resulting NiCo_(2)O_(4) (NCO-Air) and CoNiO_(2) (NCO-Ar) products, which NCO-Ar has more oxygen vacancies and larger specific surface area of 163.48 m^(2)/g. The density functional theory calculation reveals that more oxygen vacancies can provide more electrons to adsorb –OH free anions resulting in superior electrochemical energy storage performance. Therefore, the assembled asymmetric supercapacitor of NCO-Ar//active carbon delivers an excellent energy density of 112.52 Wh/kg at a power density of 558.73 W/kg and the fabricated NCO-Ar//Zn battery presents the specific capacity of 180.20 mAh/g and energy density of 308.14 Wh/kg. 6Potential indicators predict progress after surgical resection of gastrointestinal stromal tumors显示文摘In order to find out the potential indicators predicting prognosis of malignant gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs)after surgical resection,we collected clinical records of 80 patients with malignant GISTs.Tumor location,size,mitotic index,necrosis were compared with the prognosis of malignant GISTs by Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank test.After a median follow-up of 844 days(52–2145),we found that as National Institutes of Health suggested,tumors with intermediate risk had more favorable prognosis than that with high risk.Their 3-year survival rate were 65.3% and 41.3%,respectively(P<0.001).Moreover,tumor size and mitotic index were associated with free survival.The 3-year survival rate for patients with tumor size≤10 cm and>10 cm were 62.3% and 41.8%,respectively(P=0.002),Tumors with mitotic index≤5/50 HPF had a higher 3-year survival rate than tumors with mitotic index>5/50 HPF(67.1% versus 40.7%,P=0.005).The presence of necrosis was directly related to the malignant behavior.The 3-year survival rate for presence and absence necrosis were 50.8% and 64.8%(P=0.008).From the present study,we can conclude that besides tumors size and mitotic index,tumor location and necrosis also influence on the long-term survival of patient with malignant GISTs after surgical resection.Qinggang Hu Shanglong Liu Jianwei Jiang Chen Zhang Xiaowei Liu Qichang Zheng 2012Frontiers of Medicine2012,6,3:1
7Mechanism of arterial remodeling in chronic allograft vasculopathy显示文摘Chronic allograft vasculopathy(CAV)remains a major obstacle for long-term survival of grafts even though therapeutic strategies have improved considerably in recent years.CAV is characterized by concentric and diffuse neointimal formation,medial apoptosis,infiltration of lymphocyte or inflammatory cells,and deposition of extracellular matrix both in arteries and veins.Recent studies have shown that stem cells derived from the recipient contribute to neointimal formation under the regulation of chemokines and cytokines.Arterial remodeling in allografts eventually causes ischemic graft failure.The pathogenesis is multi-factorial with both immunologic and non-immunological factors being involved.The immunological factors have been discussed extensively in other articles.This review focuses mainly on the arterial remodeling that occurs in 3 layers of vessel walls including intimal injury,accumulation of smooth muscle-like cells in the neointimal,medial smooth muscle cell apoptosis,adventitial fibrosis,and deposition of extracellular matrix.Qichang Zheng Shanglong Liu Zifang Song 2011Frontiers of Medicine2011,5,3:0
8Design and experiment of an upper-side-discharge straw-returning and bundle self-unloading integrated corn residual film recycling machine显示文摘Due to the arid climate,flat terrain,certain irrigation sources and high popularization of mechanical harvest in Hexi Irrigation Area of Gansu Province,the widely adopted half film-flat-mulching for corn cultivation faces serious adverse situations,such as high soil compactness,strong film-soil adhesion,significant straw stubble and thick covering accumulation on film.Therefore,a new kind of segmented combination upper-side-discharge straw-returning and bundle self-unloading integrated corn residual film recycling machine was proposed.The scheme was characterized by small volume,low resistance,low complexity and film-impurities twice separation.It is constructed based on the concept of module subsection combination.It was composed of film surface straw cleaning device and the followed residual film recycling machine,in terms of function,any usage requirements of separate and joint operations can be satisfied.The film surface straw cleaning device is responsible for the removal of vertical corn straw and ground covering beyond the film.Although its stubble cutter roller obtuse-angle Lshaped blades paired single-helix arrangement is simple,it runs smoothly and the straw crushing effect is good enough.The layout that upper-side-discharge straw-returning cross-range screw conveyor auger is back and beyond the stubble cutter roller,eliminates the common connecting transportation mechanism between crushing and straw-returning section,so that,the system structure can be optimized and the efficiency has been significantly improved.The integrated residual film recycling machine is composed of triangular pyramid arc two-stage wing(TPATSW)type film lifting shovel,rod-tooth-belt type film-impurities separation device and semi-enclosed shaftless bundle film collector.Among them,TPATSW type film lifting shovel has good corn root whisker cutting effect,low soil contact resistance and small soil congestion area,but its ability to lift film is strong,more importantly,the special segmented configuration of shovel handle and the body,shortens the overall machine length significantly.For semi-enclosed shaftless bundle film collector,however,a new scheme of eight sub-rolls rotate in the same direction,to roll the residual film into a bundle is innovatively adopted.Under its own parameters,the system has the lowest sub-roll rotation speed that can bundle the residual film without shaft inside the film collecting chamber,rather than on any subroll itself.The gap between the sub-rolls can separate impurities for the second time.After the film collection reaches the standard,the film collector can dump the residual film directly,which is simple and efficient.The field orthogonal test data of the prototype show that,the optimal parameter combination is:film lifting shovel earth angle is 30°,its operation depth is 50 mm and the machine forward speed is 5.0 km/h.The average residual film recycling rate and the crushed straw qualified rate under the optimal parameters are 84.9%and 90.3%respectively,which meet the requirements of the national and industrial standards.The research solved the passive situation that there was no matching equipment for the recycle of residual film in corn field in Hexi Irrigation Area effectively.Xiaolong Liu Wuyun Zhao Hua Zhang Guanping Wang Wei Sun Fei Dai Hui Li Shanglong Xin 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,5:0
9122例胃肠道间质瘤的临床病理及免疫组化分析(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of the study was to review the clinical records of 122 patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs) and analyze their clinicopathologic and immunohistochemical characteristics.Methods:The medic records of 122 patients with GISTs during the periods from January 2002 to May 2010 were reviewed.All tumors were confirmed by histological and immunohistochemical analyses.Results:The tumors occurred in 59 males and 63 females,ranging from 25 to 77 years.Of all cases,46 cases originated from stomach,42 from small intestine,17 from colon and rectum and 9 from retroperitoneal cavity and 4 cases from extra-gastrointestinal site.Liver was the most common organ that tumors metastases involved.Immunohistochemically,there were 114 tumors being positive for CD117 while 8 tumors negative for it.The frequencies of CD34 positive were higher in the stomach and rectum(89.1% and 86.7% respectively) than in the small intestine(64.3%,P < 0.05).Higher expression of SMA was in the tumors located in small intestine(54.8%) while the expressions of SMA in the gastric and rectal tumors were relatively low(21.7% and 20.0% respectively,P < 0.05).Conclusion:Gastrointestinal stromal tumors can occur in the gastrointestinal tract as well as in the extra-gastrointestinal sites.The frequencies of CD34 and SMA expression vary significantly with different locations.Shanglong Liu Zifang Song Wei Li Xiaowei Liu Chen Zhang Qjchang Zheng 2010The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2010,9,10:0
10KCNH2 regulates the growth and metastasis of pancreatic cancer显示文摘Objective:Due to the characteristics of insidious onset and early metastasis of pancreatic cancer(PC),patients are often diag-nosed at an advanced stage and often delayed in completing surgical resection timely,resulting in poor prognosis.Therefore,this study aims to explore the expression of potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily H member 2(KCNH2)in PC and its relation-ship with clinicopathological parameters and the related mechanisms.Methods:GEPIA database and immunohistochemical staining were used to analyze the difference in KCNH2 expression be-tween PC and adjacent tissue in RNA and protein levels.Chi-squared test was used to evaluate the relationship between KCNH2 expression and clinicopathological features.The Cox regression model was used for multivariate analysis and univariate analysis.Histological diagnosis was performed according to World Health Organization(WHO)criteria to evaluate the relationship between KCNH2 expression and clinicopathological features.Results:KCNH2 expression was upregulated in PC compared with normal pancreatic tissue.In addition,the knockdown of KCNH2 inhibits PC cell proliferation,migration,invasion,and epithelial-mesenchymal transformation and promotes their apopto-sis.In addition,clinical data showed that the abnormal expression of KCNH2 in PC was related to the tumor stage.Patients with high expression of KCNH2 had a poor prognosis.Conclusions:KCNH2 is expected to be a novel targeted molecule in treating PC.Jinghao Lei Qiang Wang Tengfei Qu Lichao Cha Hanxiang Zhan Jianwei Xu Shanglong Liu Lantian Tian Chuandong Sun Jingyu Cao Fabo Qiu Weidong Guo Bin Zhou 2023Journal of Pancreatology2023,6,3:0
11Simulation and test on the operation process of an intermittent filmpicking component on full-film mulched double ditches显示文摘In view of the problems in operation process of fixed rake-type residual recycling component,such as poor individual profiling effect in film picking,easy clogging of the compound of films,soil and corn stubbles,high power consumption in film picking,and strong disturbance to seedbed soil,in this study,an operation model of intermittent filmpicking on full-film mulched double ditches was proposed and an intermittent film picking component was designed.The DEMMBD coupled algorithm was adopted for numerical simulation on the operation process of the intermittent film-picking component on full-film mulched double ditches,and a comparative analysis was carried out on the seedbed disturbance effect and resistance variation characteristics in film-picking by fixed and intermittent film-picking components.By taking the forward speed in film-picking,cam arrangement angle of the film-picking component and rotating speed of the cam shaft as independent variables,film-picking rate as the response value,a mathematical model between test factors and the film-picking rate was established,to explore the influence order of the factors on film-picking rate,and the optimal working parameters of the intermittent film-picking component were obtained as follows:the forward speed in film-picking was 2 km/h,cam arrangement angle was 180°,rotating speed of the cam shaft was 120 r/min.Under the optimal parameter combination,the average film-picking rate of the simulation test was 96.1%.Field test showed that,the average film-picking rate of the intermittent film-picking component was 95.6%,and 0.5%higher than that of the simulation test.The working condition of the sample machine was basically consistent with the simulation process,and can accurately represent the operation mechanism of intermittent film-picking on full-film mulched double ditches,showing that the established discrete element simulation model and its parameters were accurate and reasonable.Fei Dai Feng Wang Wenjuan Guo Ruijie Shi Shanglong Xin Xiaolong Liu Wuyun Zhao 2024International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2024,17,1:0
12十二指肠间质瘤:上消化道出血原因之一(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of the study was to report an anemia patient with melena for five years caused by duodenal gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST), who required surgical treatment. Methods: A 44-year old man present with anemia appearance was admitted to our center (Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery, Union Hospital, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China) due to sustaining melena for five years. Endoscopy found no special mucosal abnormalities in the duodenal lumen. Computed Tomography showed a well-demarcated mass, 7.4 cm in diameter, located between the C loop of duodenum and pancreatic head. Pylorus-preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy and right hemicolectomy were performed when the patient's general conditions were improved. He recuperated successfully and was discharged on the 21st postoperative day. No complications happened during the period of hospital stay. Results: Histological and immunohistochemical study revealed a high risk invasive duodenal GIST which was positive for CD117, CD34, α-smooth muscle actin and negative for S-100. 13Effects of Ethyl Pyruvate on High Mobility Group Box1 gene expression in septic lung of rat显示文摘Objective: Ethyl Pyruvate (EP) has been shown to be an effective anti-inflammatory agent in a variety of model systems. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of EP on High Mobility Group Box1(HMGB1) genes expression and the possible mechanisms of EP protecting against acute lung injury induced by sepsis. Methods: Forty Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal controls,sham operation,acute lung injury,and EP treatment (40 mg/kg intra-peritoneally every 6 hrs) groups. At the time points of 24 hours the animals in each group were sacrificed, and the lungs were harvested. Wet/dry lung weight ratio, the protein in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF),and pulmonary permeability index(PPI) were determined. The histological morphology of lung was observed under microscope. The expression of HMGB1 mRNA was measured using semi-quantitative RT-PCR. Results: EP treatment decreased wet/dry lung weight ratio, the protein in the BALF,and PPI (P<0.01). The histological morphology of lung injury was ameliorated. EP significantly inhibited the HMGB1 mRNA expression(P<0.01). HMGB1 mRNA expression in lungs positively correlation with wet/dry lung weight ratio, the protein in the BALF,and PPI. 14Multi-Dimensional Composite Frame as Bifunctional Catalytic Medium for Ultra-Fast Charging Lithium-Sulfur Battery显示文摘The shuttle effect of soluble lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)between electrodes and slow reaction kinetics lead to extreme inefficiency and poor high current cycling stability,which limits the commercial application of Li-S batteries.Herein,the multi-dimensional composite frame has been proposed as the modified separator(MCCoS/PP)of Li-S battery,which is composed of CoS_(2) nanoparticles on alkali-treated MXene nanosheets and carbon nanotubes.Both experiments and theoretical calculations show that bifunctional catalytic activity can be achieved on the MCCoS/PP separator.It can not only promote the liquid-solid conversion in the reduction process,but also accelerate the decomposition of insoluble Li_(2)S in the oxidation process.In addition,LiPSs shuttle effect has been inhibited without a decrease in lithium-ion transference numbers.Simultaneously,the MCCoS/PP separator with good LiPSs adsorption capability arouses redistribution and fixing of active substances,which is also beneficial to the rate performance and cycling stability.The Li-S batteries with the MCCoS/PP separator have a specific capacity of 368.6 mAh g^(−1) at 20C,and the capacity decay per cycle is only 0.033%in 1000 cycles at 7C.Also,high area capacity(6.34 mAh cm^(−2))with a high sulfur loading(7.7 mg cm^(−2))and a low electrolyte/sulfur ratio(7.5μL mg^(−1))is achieved.Shuhao Tian Qi Zeng Guo Liu Juanjuan Huang Xiao Sun Di Wang Hongcen Yang Zhe Liu Xichao Mo Zhixia Wang Kun Tao Shanglong Peng 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12:0
15Analysis and performance test on dynamic seed corn threshing and conveying process with variable diameter and spacing显示文摘In order to further reduce the damage rate in threshing seed corn,a seed corn threshing testbed with variable diameter and spacing that can realize dynamic adjustment of parameters,such as feed quantity,rotating speed of the threshing device,threshing spacing of the threshing units,was designed in this research.The software of finite element analysis ANSYS Workbench was applied to do modal analysis on the threshing axis designed for variable diameter and spacing of seed corn.The first 8 orders of natural frequencies were distributed in 201.12-1640.20 Hz,with corresponding vibration amplitude in 5.86-27.04 mm,showing reasonable structural design of the threshing axis,which could realize effective seed corn threshing and conveying.Discrete element method was applied to do simulation analysis on the seed corn threshing and conveying process with variable diameter and spacing.Under the condition of different feed quantity,different rotating speed of the thresher,the moving speed of corn clusters and contact force among clusters were measured through simulation,and the working characteristics of the threshing testbed for low-damage and dynamic threshing and conveying of seed corn with variable diameter and spacing were revealed.Working performance test results of the testbed of seed corn with variable diameter and spacing showed that,when the rotating speed of the threshing axis was 190-290 r/min,feed quantity was 1.80-3.80 kg/s,the damage rate of seed corn was 0.32%-0.63%,threshing rate was 99.20%-99.82%,and content impurity rate was 4.23%-5.86%,the mass of threshed corn grains first increased and then decreased along the axial direction.The test verification process was in line with the simulation results;thus,the test results could satisfy the requirements in design and actual operation.Fei Dai Yiming Zhao Yuanxiang Liu Ruijie Shi Shanglong Xin Qiufeng Fu Wuyun Zhao 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,2:0
16Accuracy of preoperative serum CA19-9 levels in predicting the resectability of patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective To assess the accuracy of preoperative serum CA19-9 levels in predicting the resectability of pancreatic adenocarcinoma.Methods Patients with biopsy-proven pancreatic adenocarcinoma who had preoperative serum CA19-9 level data were enrolled in the present retrospective analysis. Receiver operating characteristics(ROC) curve analysis was used to determine the optimal cut-off value of CA19-9. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value were calculated at this cut-off point.Results Seventy-six patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma that was considered potentially resectable according to radiological imaging were included. Of all 76 patients, 44 received complete resection of the pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The preoperative serum CA19-9 level was significantly higher in the unresectable tumor group than in the resectable tumor group(P = 0.0036). The area under the ROC curve was 0.749(95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.637–0.842).
