1Resilience enhancement strategy using microgrids in distribution network显示文摘We propose a restoration strategy using microgrids for restoring power supply to critical loads after an extreme event and thereby enhancing the resilience of the distribution power grid. The limited capacities of distributed generators(DGs) within the microgrids and those of intermittent energy sources such as wind and photovoltaic power are considered. An enhanced strategy model of the distribution network is established for maximizing the power supply to critical loads. Firstly, the importance of the load is quantified by using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and the model of the microgrid output is further improved. In the demand response mechanism, an interruptible load is used to suppress the fluctuation in the distributed power output. Secondly, piecewise linearization method is applied to address the power flow constraints. Then, the resilience enhancement model of the distribution network is transformed into a mixed integer quadratic programming problem. The CPLEX solver is adopted to solve the above problem on the MATLAB platform. 2IL-33 induces immunosuppressive neutrophils via a type 2 innate lymphoid cell/IL-13/STAT6 axis and protects the liver against injury in LCMV infection-induced viral hepatitis显示文摘Viral hepatitis is still a public health problem affecting several million people around the world.Neutrophils are polymorphonuclear cells that have a critical role in antibacterial infection.However,the role of neutrophils in viral infection is not fully understood.By using a mouse model of lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus infection-induced viral hepatitis,we observed increased neutrophil recruitment in the liver accompanied by enhanced CD8+T-cell responses.Liver neutrophils expressed high levels of immunomodulatory cytokines,such as C-X-C chemokine ligand 2,arginase-1,inducible nitric oxide synthase and interleukin(IL)-10,demonstrating immunosuppressive properties.Depletion of neutrophils in vivo by a neutralizing antibody resulted in the exacerbation of liver injury and the promotion of T-cell responses at the immune contraction stage.IL-33 significantly induced neutrophil recruitment in the liver and attenuated liver injury by limiting effector T-cell accumulation.Mechanistically,we found that IL-33 promoted the expression of arginase-1 in neutrophils through the type 2 innate lymphoid cell(ILC2)-derived IL-13.Additionally,IL-13 increased the inhibitory effect of neutrophils on CD8+T-cell proliferation in vitro,partially through arginase-1.Finally,we found that IL-13 induced arginase-1 expression,depending on signal transducer and activator of transcription factor 6(STAT6)signaling.Therefore,IL-33 induced immunosuppressive neutrophils via an ILC2/IL-13/STAT6 axis.Collectively,our findings shed new light on the mechanisms associated with IL-33-triggered neutrophils in the liver and suggest potential targets for therapeutic investigation in viral hepatitis.Yuejin Liang Panpan Yi Denley Ming Kee Yuan Zuliang Jie Zakari Kwota Lynn Soong Yingzi Cong Jiaren Sun 2019Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,2:7
3Absorption mechanism of carbon-nanotube paper- titanium dioxide as a multifunctional barrier material for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur batteries attract much interest as energy storage devices for their low cost, high specific capacity, and energy density. However, the insulating properties of sulfur and high solubility of lithium polysulfides decrease the utilization of active materials by the battery resulting in poor cycling performance. Herein, we design a multifunctional carbon-nanotube paper/titanium-dioxide barrier which effectively reduces active material loss and suppresses the diffusion of lithium polysulfides to the anode, thereby improving the cycling stability of lithium-sulfur batteries. Using this barrier, an activated carbon/sulfur cathode with 70% sulfur content delivers stable cycling performance and high Coulombic efficiency (-99%) over 250 cycles at a current rate of 0.5 C. 4Development of Overpressure in the Tertiary Damintun Depression, Liaohe Basin, Northern China显示文摘The Damintun depression is one of the four depressions in the Liaohe basin in northern China, and is a rift basin developed in the Paleogene. This paper discusses in detail the characteristics of pressure and fluid potential of the Damintun depression based on a synthesis of the data from boreholes, well tests and seismic surveys. Data from sonic logs, well tests and seismic velocity measurements are used to study the pressure characteristics of the areas. From the sonic log data, shales can be characterized as normally pressured, slightly overpressured or highly overpressured; from the well test data, the pressure-depth gradient in oil-producing intervals implies hydrostatic pressure in general. Most seismic profiles in the Damintun depression are of sufficiently high quality for seismic velocities to be measured. The fluid pressures, excess pressures and pressure coefficients in 47 representative seismic profiles are predicted using formula calculation methods, and further transformed to fluid potentials. The resultant pressure profiles show normal pressure, moderate overpressure and intense overpressure increasing with depth. The pressure evolution can be divided into three stages as initial generation, partial dissipation and re-accumulation. Fluid potential is the principal factor controlling hydrocarbon migration in a reservoir. Its distribution varies with depth; above the T4 interface a gravity-flow dominates, whereas beneath it a compaction flow dominates. The development of overpressure in the Damintun depression has a crucial influence on the distribution of fluid potentials, which agrees with that of overpressure in general. 5Research on carbon and oxygen isotopes in phosphorus-bearing rock series of the Late Neoproteroic-Early Cambrian Taozichong Formation in Qingzhen City, Guizhou Province, Southwest China显示文摘In the study of the phosphate-bearing stratum at the bottom of the Cambrian system, the authors found that there occurred carbon isotope negative anomalies in the Taozichong section phosphate-bearing stratum in Qingzhen, Guizhou Province; they can be correspondingly compared with other synsedimentary carbon isotope negative anomalies both at home and abroad. The results showed that there occurred three negative anomalies of carbon isotopes in the Neoproterozoic-Early Cambrian Taozichong Formation, indicating that the temporal palaeo-oceanographical environment changed significantly, in which there happened two times of intensive carbon isotope variation, corresponding to creature extinction. 8Single Nucleotide Polymorphism of FSHβ Gene Associated with Reproductive Traits in Japanese Flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus)显示文摘Follicle stimulating hormone β (FSHβ) of Japanese flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) plays a key role in the regulation of gonadal development.This study aimed to investigate molecular genetic characteristics of the FSHβ gene and elucidate the effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of FSHβ on reproductive traits in Japanese flounder.We used polymerase chain reaction single-strand conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) and sequencing of the FSHβ gene in 60 individuals.We identified only an SNP (T/C) in the coding region of exon3 of FSHβ.The SNP (T/C) did not lead to amino acid changes at the position 340 bp of FSHβ gene.Statistical analysis showed that the SNP was significantly associated with testosterone (T) level and gonadosomatic index (GSI) (P<0.05).Individuals with genotype TC of the SNP had significantly higher serum T levels and GSI (P<0.05) than that of genotype CC.Therefore, FSHβ gene could be a useful molecular marker in selection for prominent reproductive trait in Japanese Flounder.HE Feng WEN Haishen YU Dahui LI Jifang SHI Bao CHEN Caifang ZHANG Jiaren JIN Guoxiong CHEN Xiaoyan Shi Dan Yang Yanping 2010Journal of Ocean University of China2010,9,4:4

10Green and Near-Infrared Dual-Mode Afterglow of Carbon Dots and Their Applications for Confidential Information Readout显示文摘Near-infrared(NIR),particularly NIR-containing dual-/multimode afterglow,is very attractive in many fields of application,but it is still a great challenge to achieve such property of materials. Herein,we report a facile method to prepare green and NIR dual-mode afterglow of carbon dots(CDs) through in situ embedding o-CDs(being prepared from o-phenylenediamine) into cyanuric acid(CA) matrix(named o-CDs@CA). Further studies reveal that the green and NIR afterglows of o-CDs@CA originate from thermal activated delayed fluorescence(TADF) and room temperature phosphorescence(RTP) of o-CDs,respectively. In addition,the formation of covalent bonds between o-CDs and CA,and the presence of multiple fixation and rigid e ects to the triplet states of o-CDs are confirmed to be critical for activating the observed dual-mode afterglow. Due to the shorter lifetime and insensitiveness to human vision of the NIR RTP of o-CDs@CA,it is completely covered by the green TADF during directly observing. The NIR RTP signal,however,can be readily captured if an optical filter(cut-o wavelength of 600 nm) being used. By utilizing these unique features,the applications of o-CDs@CA in anti-counterfeiting and information encryption have been demonstrated with great confidentiality. 11Tectonic uplift history of the Yitong Basin since the Oligocene,Northeast China:Evidence from apatite fission track ages and geological relationship显示文摘The Yitong Basin is an oilbearing basin with unique characteristics in Northeast China. On the basis of apatite fission track ages and geological relationship, the tectonic uplift history of the Yitong Basin since the Oligo-cene was discussed. Based on apatite fission track analysis of five samples from the Luxiang and Chaluhe fault depressions and basin modeling study, it can be concluded that since the Oligocene (36.6 Ma) in the Yitong Basin, the Chaluhe fault depression has undergone two episodes of uplift during 24.9-19.1 Ma and 6.9-4.9 Ma. And the Luxiang fault depression also had undergone two episodes of uplift during 30-27.8 Ma and 22.6-11.1 Ma. Moreover, the average apparent exhumation rates for the Chaluhe fault depression and Luxiang fault depression, could be calculated to be 70.34 and 60.33 m/Ma since 21.8 Ma and 18.9 Ma, respectively. 12Enabling robust and hour-level organic long persistent luminescence from carbon dots by covalent fixation显示文摘The first carbon dot(CD)-based organic long persistent luminescence(OLPL)system exhibiting more than 1 h of duration was developed.In contrast to the established OLPL systems,herein,the reported CDs-based system(named m-CDs@CA)can be facilely and effectively fabricated using a household microwave oven,and more impressively,its LPL can be observed under ambient conditions and even in aqueous media.XRD and TEM characterizations,afterglow decay,time-resolved spectroscopy,and ESR analysis were performed,showing the successful composition of CDs and.CA,the formation of exciplexes and long-lived charged-separated states.Further studies suggest that the production of covalent bonds between CA and CDs plays pivotal roles in activating LPL and preventing its quenching from oxygen and water.To the best of our knowledge,this is a very rare example of an OLPL system that exhibits hourlevel afterglow under ambient conditions.Finally,applications of m-CDs@C.A in glow-in-the-dark paints for emergency signs and multicolored luminous pearls were preliminarily demonstrated.This work may provide new insights for the development of rare earth-free and robust OLPL materials.Kai Jiang Yuci Wang Cunjian Lin Licheng Zheng Jiaren Du Yixi Zhuang Rongjun Xie Zhongjun Li Hengwei Lin 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,4:3
13Immune and non-immune responses to hepatitis C virus infection显示文摘The host innate and adaptive immune systems are involved in nearly every step of hepatitis C virus(HCV) infection. In patients,the outcome is determined by a series of complex host-virus interactions,whether it is a natural infection or results from clinical intervention. Strong and persistent CD8+ and CD4+ T-cell responses are critical in HCV clearance,as well as cytokineinduced factors that can directly inhibit virus replication. Newly available direct-acting antivirals(DAAs) are very effective in viral clearance in patients. DAA treatment may further result in the down-regulation of programmed death-1,leading to rapid restoration of HCV-specific CD8+ T cell functions. In this review,we focus on recent studies that address the host responses critical for viral clearance and disease resolution. Additional discussion is devoted to the prophylactic vaccine development as well as to current efforts aimed at understanding the host innate responses against HCV infection. 14Molecular and Isotopic Characteristics of Mature Condensates from the East China Sea Shelf Basin Using GC×GC-TOFMS and GC-IRMS显示文摘In this study, biomarkers, together with stable carbon(δ13 C) and hydrogen(δD) isotopic compositions of n-alkanes have been examined in a suite of condensates collected from the East China Sea Shelf Basin(ECSSB) in order to delineate their source organic matter input, depositional conditions and evaluate their thermal maturity. Previously, GC-MS analyses have shown that all the condensates are formed in oxidizing environment with terrestrial plants as their main source input. No significant differences were apparent for biomarker parameters, likely due to the low biomarker content and high maturity of these condensates. Conventional GC-MS analysis however, may provides limited information on the sources and thermal maturity of complex mixtures due to insufficient component resolution. In the current study, we used comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography with time-of-flight mass spectrometry(GC×GC-TOFMS) to increase the chromatographic resolution. Compounds such as alkyl cyclohexanes, alkyl cyclopentanes and diamondoids, which can be difficult to identify using conventional GC-MS analysis, were successfully identified using GC×GC-TOFMS. From our analyses we propose two possibly unreported indicators, including one maturity indicator(C5--cyclohexane/C5+-cyclohexane) and one oxidation-reduction environment indicator(alkyl-cyclohexane/alkyl-cyclopentane). Multiple petroleum charging events were proposed as an explanation for the maturity indicators indexes discrepancy between methyl-phenanthrene index(MPI) and methyl-adamantane index(MDI). In addition, the stable isotopic results show that condensates from the Paleogene have significantly higher positive δ13 C values of individual n-alkanes than the Neogene samples. Based on δD values, the samples can be divided into two groups, the differences between which are likely to be attributed to different biosynthetic precursors. 15Evaluation of Petroleum System in Xihu Depression, East China Sea Shelf Basin显示文摘According to the theory of petroleum system and the characteristics of petroleum geology, the Xihu depression in the East China Sea shelf basin is divided into four petroleum systems: the Pinghu Formation as source rock and the Huagang Formation as reservoir rock, the Huagang Formation as source rock and reservoir rock, the Paleocene as source rock and the burial-hill as reservoir rock, and the Miocene as source rock and reservoir rock. 18Hydrocarbon Generation, Migration, and Accumulation in the Eocene Niubao Formation in the Lunpola Basin, Tibet, China: Insights from Basin Modeling and Fluid Inclusion Analysis显示文摘The Eocene Niubao Formation is the primary research target of oil exploration in the Lunpola Basin.Crude oil was extracted from Well Z1 on the northern margin of the basin in 1993.In this study,an integrated evaluation of the source rock geothermal,and maturity histories and the fluid inclusion and fluid potential distributions was performed to aid in predicting areas of hydrocarbon accumulation.Due to the abundance of organic matter,the kerogen types,maturity,and oil-sources correlate with the geochemical data.The middle submember of the second member of the Niubao Formation(E2n^2-2)is the most favorable source rock based on the amount of oil produced from the E2n^2-3and E2n^3-1reservoirs.One-and twodimensional basin modeling,using BasinMod software,shows that the E2n^2-2source rock started to generate hydrocarbon at 35-30 Ma,reached a maturity of Ro=0.7%at 25-20 Ma,and at present,it has reached the peak oil generation stage with a thermal maturity of Ro=0.8%to less than Ro=1.0%.By using fluid inclusion petrography,fluorescence spectroscopy,and microthermometry,two major periods of oil charging have been revealed at 26.1-17.5 and 32.4-24.6 Ma.The oil accumulation modeling results,conducted by using the Trinity software,show a good fit of the oil shows in the wells and predict that the structural highs and lithologic transitions within the Jiangriaco and Paco sags are potential oil traps.Yiming Liu Jiaren Ye Qiang Cao Baolin Yang Zhongrong Liu 2020Journal of Earth Science2020,31,1:2
