2Isolation and genetic charac-terization of a fragile plant mutant in rice (Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘The fragile rice mutant was isolated from an M2 population of indica variety Shuang Ke Zao (SKZ) treated with γ-rays, and designated as fp1 {fragile plant 1) because of its fragile leaves and culms. To map FP1 locus, an F2 mapping population was derived from a cross between the fp1 and C-bao, a polymorphic japonic variety. The primary mapping result places the FP1 locus in an interval between two molecular markers, microsatellite marker RM16 (3.1 cM proximal to FP1) and STS marker G144a (9.1 cM distal to FP1) in the centromere region of chromosome 3. A CAPS marker C524a was further developed between RM16 and G144a, with 0.4 cM genetic distances to the FP1 locus, providing a practical starting point for constructing a BAC con-tig spanning the FP1 locus and cloning the fp1 gene. 3ζ-Carotene Isomerase Suppresses Tillering in Rice through the Coordinated Biosynthesis of Strigolactone and Abscisic Acid显示文摘Rice tillering is an important agronomic trait affecting grain yield.Here,we identified a high-tillering mutant tillering20(t20),which could be restored to the wild type by treatment with the strigolactone(SL)analog rac-GR24.T20 encodes a chloroplast ζ-carotene isomerase(Z-ISO),which is involved in the biosynthesis of ca-rotenoids and their metabolites,SL and abscisic acid(ABA).The t20 mutant has reduced SL and ABA,raising the question of how SL and ABA biosynthesis is coordinated,and whether they have overlapping functions in tillering.We discovered that rac-GR24 stimulated T20 expression and enhanced all-trans-p-carotene biosynthesis.Importantly,rac-GR24 also stimulated expression of Oryza sativa 9-CIS-EPOXY-CAROTENOID DIOXYGENASE 1(OsNCED1)through induction of Oryza sativa HOMEOBOX12(0sHOX12),promoting ABA biosynthesis in shoot base.On the other hand,ABA treatment significantly repressed SL biosynthesis and the ABA biosynthetic mutants displayed elevated SL biosynthesis.ABA treatment reduced the number of basal tillers in both t20 and wild-type plants.Furthermore,while ABA-deficient mu-tants aba1 and aba2 had the same number of basal tillers as wild type,they had more unproductive upper tillers at maturity.This work demonstrates complex interactions in the biosynthesis of carotenoid,SLs and ABA,and reveals a role for ABA in the regulation of rice tillering.Xue Liu Qingliang Hu Jijun Yan Kai Sun Yan Liang Meiru Jia Xiangbing Meng Shuang Fang Yiqin Wang Yanhui Jing Guifu Liu Dianxing Wu Chengcai Chu Steven M.Smith Jinfang Chu Yonghong Wang Jiayang Li Bing Wang 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,12:11

6Poisonings Caused by Wild Mushroom Containing Amanitin Toxins—Shaoxing City,Zhejiang Province,China,2019显示文摘What is already known about this topic?Among all food poisoning,poisonings caused by wild mushrooms containing amanitin toxins have the highest case fatality rate.Amanitin toxins can cause acute liver function damage,and symptoms of the poisoning can include vomiting and diarrhea in early stages and progressive liver damage 2–3 days later.What is added by this report?Before 2019,there were about 1–2 cases of wild mushroom containing amanitin toxins poisoning each year in Zhejiang Province.In 2019,10 cases were identified through disease investigation and toxin detection and biological identification in Shaoxing City,Zhejiang Province.All patients had a history of wild mushroom consumption.What are the implications for public health practice?In the summer,some people collect the wild mushrooms for consumption.In China,about 20 species of mushrooms can cause death,and most people lack the ability to identify which mushrooms are edible.To combat this,effective science popularization and prevention and control work will be able to reduce the occurrence of related poisoning events.Xiaomin Xu Liang Sun Yizhe Zhang Jiayang Song Chao Xing Hongshun Zhang 2020China CDC weekly2020,2,29:2

13Effects of different processing methods on the lipid composition of hazelnut oil:a lipidomics analysis显示文摘Although hazelnut oil is rich in nutrients,its quality is greatly affected by how it is processed.However,no studies to date have comprehensively analyzed the lipid composition of hazelnut oil using different processing methods.Here,we conducted a lipidomics analysis using UPLC-QTOF-MS to characterize the lipid composition of cold-pressed hazelnut oil(CPO),ultrasonic-assisted hexane hazelnut oil(UHO)and enzyme-assisted aqueous hazelnut oil(EAO).A total of 10 subclasses of 98 lipids were identified,including35 glycerolipids(GLs),56 glycerophospholipids(GPs)and 7 sphingolipids(SPs).The total lipid and GL content were the highest in CPO,GP content was the highest in UHO and the ceramide content in SPs was most abundant in EAO.Multivariate statistical analysis showed that the lipid profiles of hazelnut oil prepared with different processing methods varied.Twelve significantly different lipids(TAG 54:3,TAG 52:2,TAG54:4,TAG 54:2,TAG 52:3,TAG 54:5,DAG 36:2,DAG 36:4,DAG 36:3,PC 36:2,PA 36:2 and PE 36:3)were identified,and these lipids could potentially be used as biomarkers to distinguish between hazelnut oil subjected to different processing methods.Our results provide useful information for hazelnut oil applications and new insight into the effects of edible oil processing.Jiayang Sun Xiaonuo Feng Chunmao Lyu Shuang Zhou Zixuan Liu 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,2:1
