| 1 | Cluster observations of large-scale southward movement and dawnward-duskward flapping of Earth's magnetotail current sheet显示文摘In August 2001,Cluster satellites observed that the mid-tail current sheet(CS) moved southward continuously for almost seven hours.Meanwhile,Cluster crossed back and forth the CS repeatedly.This means that the large-scale southward movement of the CS was accompanied by a small-scale CS flapping during this period.Using the minimum-variation-analysis(MVA) method and the multi-spacecraft data,we calculated the normal vector,current density and the magnetic curvature of the CS,the results showed that the CS alternated between flattened CS and tilted CS for several times.Strong dawn-dusk oscillations were found for the tilted CS,which caused the repeated crossings of the center of CS by the satellites.This feature is obviously different from the previous observations of the vertical flapping of the CS induced by the kink instability.Two types of flapping were observed:One of them is accompanied with bursty bulk flows(BBFs) and the other is not.This suggests that in this event there was no direct relationship between the CS flapping and BBFs. | DUAN AiYing CAO JinBin MA YuDuan WEI XinHua | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,1: | 6 |

| 7 | A dual-RPA based lateral flow strip for sensitive,on-site detection of CP4-EPSPS and Cry1Ab/Ac genes in genetically modified crops显示文摘Traditional transgenic detection methods require high test conditions and struggle to be both sensitive and efficient.In this study,a one-tube dual recombinase polymerase amplification(RPA)reaction system for CP4-EPSPS and Cry1Ab/Ac was proposed and combined with a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay,named“Dual-RPA-LFD”,to visualize the dual detection of genetically modified(GM)crops.In which,the herbicide tolerance gene CP4-EPSPS and the insect resistance gene Cry1Ab/Ac were selected as targets taking into account the current status of the most widespread application of insect resistance and herbicide tolerance traits and their stacked traits.Gradient diluted plasmids,transgenic standards,and actual samples were used as templates to conduct sensitivity,specificity,and practicality assays,respectively.The constructed method achieved the visual detection of plasmid at levels as low as 100 copies,demonstrating its high sensitivity.In addition,good applicability to transgenic samples was observed,with no cross-interference between two test lines and no influence from other genes.In conclusion,this strategy achieved the expected purpose of simultaneous detection of the two popular targets in GM crops within 20 min at 37°C in a rapid,equipmentfree field manner,providing a new alternative for rapid screening for transgenic assays in the field. | Jinbin Wang Yu Wang Xiuwen Hu Yifan Chen Wei Jiang Xiaofeng Liu Juan Liu Lemei Zhu Haijuan Zeng Hua Liu | 2024 | Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,1: | 1 |
| 8 | A self-tuning client-side metadata prefetching scheme for wide area network file systems显示文摘Client-side metadata prefetching is commonly used in wide area network(WAN) file systems because it can effectively hide network latency. However, most existing prefetching approaches do not meet the various prefetching requirements of multiple workloads. They are usually optimized for only one specific workload and have no or harmful effects on other workloads. In this paper, we present a new self-tuning client-side metadata prefetching scheme that uses two different prefetching strategies and dynamically adapts to workload changes. It uses a directory-directed prefetching strategy to prefetch the related file metadata in the same directory, and a correlation-directed prefetching strategy to prefetch the related file metadata accessed across directories. A novel self-tuning mechanism is proposed to efficiently convert the prefetching strategy between directory-directed and correlation-directed prefetching. Experimental results using real system traces show that the hit ratio of the client-side cache can be significantly improved by our self-tuning client-side prefetching. | 9 | Averrhoa carambola extractive inhibits breast cancer via regulating CEPT1 and LYPLA1显示文摘Liposomes have been widely exploited as a drug delivery system in treating tumors because of their advantage to enhance anti-tumor efficacy and reduce side effects. In this study, the tumor-targeted 2-dodecyl-6-methoxycyclohexa-2,5-diene-1,4-dione(DMDD, i.e., Averrhoa carambola extractive) liposomes(HA/TN-DLP) were conducted and assessed. HA/TN-DLP showed controllable drug loading(up to 83%)with high stability. In vitro and in vivo studies showed good cell uptake behavior and high inhibition rate of breast cancer compared to free DMDD. HA/TN-DLP might be the suitable for DMDD due to its better advantages in delivery, penetrability, and targeting-tumor capability. For in vivo mouse model tests,HA/TN-DLP effectively inhibited tumor growth compared to free DMDD. Further analyses indicated that HA/TN-DLP inhibited the glycerophospholipid metabolism pathway by reducing the biosynthesis of phosphatidylcholine and 1-acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine through regulating the expressions of CEPT1 and LYPLA1, and inhibited tumor cell growth by regulating the PI3K/Akt and NF-κ B signaling pathways.
