1Efficacy of Rebixiao Chinese herbal tablets and Chinese formula granules in acute gout arthritis patients:a randomized,multicenter,double-blind,controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Rebixiao(RBX)Chinese herbal tablets(CHT)and Chinese formula granules(CFG)in the treatment of acute gout arthritis(AGA).METHODS:This randomized,multicenter,double-blind,controlled trial included 165 AGA patients with the damp-heat symptom pattern who were randomly divided into an RBX CHT group and an RBX CFG group and treated for 7 d at three centers.The total effective rates of the joint symptom score,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)symptoms score,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),and C-reactive protein(CRP)were used to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Safety assessments were also performed.RESULTS:Of the 165 enrolled patients,147 completed the clinical observation.There was no difference in baseline between the two groups.The total effective rates of the joint symptom score were 94.36%and 97.36%,and the total effective rates of the TCM symptoms score were 95.77%and 97.36%in the CFG group and CHT group,respectively.No statistical difference was found between the two groups(P>0.05).Additionally,ESR and CRP were similar in both groups(P>0.05).Furthermore,treatment efficacy regarding TCM and joint symptoms,the ESR,and CRP were consistent within each center and among the different centers(P>0.05).In addition,the incidence of adverse events was 4.22%and 2.63%in the CFG group and CHT group,respectively,and no difference was observed between the two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION:RBX CFG and CHT have significant and similar efficacy in the treatment of AGA,and CFG did not increase adverse side effects.Wang Shasha Zhang Ying Dai Min Yang Min Leng Wenfei Peng Xiufeng Li Guojun Yang Jinbing Gan Jianping Zhu Fenglin Li Yanping Wu Bin 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,4:3

6Gd_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles modified g-C_(3)N_(4) with enhanced photocatalysis activity for degradation of organic pollutants显示文摘Gd_(2) O_(3) nanoparticles modified g-C_(3) N_(4) photocatalytic composites were synthesized by a simple one-step hydrothermal method.The structure,morphology,optical properties of the prepared photocatalyst were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),field emission transmission electron microscopy(FETEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The result demonstrates that gadolinium is mainly dispersed on the surface of g-C_(3) N_(4) in the form of Gd_(2) O_(3),and does not destroy the lattice structure of g-C_(3) N_(4).Besides,the gadolinium can cause the red shift of the absorption edge of light,narrow the band gap,and increase the separation efficiency of the photogenerated electron and hole of g-C_(3) N_(4).Especially,the specific surface area of g-C_(3) N_(4) can be significantly increased.Furthermore,g-C_(3) N_(4)/Gd-0.05 displays the highest photodegradation performance when it is used for degradation of methyl orange(MO),methylene blue(MB) and Rhodamine B(RhB).The photodegradation rate of g-C_(3) N_(4)/Gd-0.05 composites is 72.4% for MO,95.5% for RhB,100% for MB after120 min under visible light(λ> 420 nm) irradiation.Narrow band gap promotes the separation of photogenerated electron and hole,which enhances the photocatalytic activity of g-C_(3) N_(4).It is noted that g-C_(3) N_(4)/Gd-0.05 exhibits excellent photocatalytic stability by the photocurrent and the cyclic photodegradation of MO.Yipeng Zhou Fanshan Zeng Chaoyang Sun Jun Wu Yu Xie Fayun Zhang Senlin Rao Fahui Wang Jinbing Zhang Jinsheng Zhao Shiqian Li 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,11:1

8Effects of particle shape and packing style on ethylene oxidation reaction using particle-resolved CFD simulation显示文摘Gaining in-depth insights into the effects of particle shapes and packing style on ethylene oxidation reaction is of paramount industrial importance.In this work,reactor models of five packing structures with different particle shapes and three packing structures with different packing styles are established by employing software Blender and COMSOL Multiphysics to explore how the reaction-diffusion behaviors affect ethylene oxidation process.The reliabilities of rigid body dynamics model and particle-resolved reactor model are verified by comparing simulated and experimental pressure drops and ethylene conversions.In all the five packing structures with laminar flow conditions,the high bed porosity and low total particle surface area for the trilobe packing structure give rise to the lowest pressure drop of 27.8 Pa/m,while the internal voids cutting mode provides the excellent heat transfer capacity for the Raschig ring packing structure and the highest ethylene conversion and thereby the highest bed temperature rise of 25.1 K for the four-hole cylinder packing structure.Based on these analyses,changing the packing style to the bottom-up Raschig ring-four hole cylinder packing structure would be a good strategy for the effectively lowered reactor temperature rise by 4.8 K together with the slightly reduced ethylene conversion.Yao Shi Hao Chen Wenyao Chen Guanghua Ye Jin Qu Jinbing Li Xinggui Zhou Xuezhi Duan 2023Particuology2023,,11:0
9Topological effect on fluorescence emission of tetraphenylethylene-based metallacages显示文摘Herein,we describe the selective formation of a barrel-shaped or a ball-shaped fluorescent metallacage by controlling the shape and stoichiometry of the building blocks.Specifically,the tetraphenylethylene-based donor and two acceptors with different numbers of Pt(Ⅱ)centers were combined via coordination-driven self-assembly.Owing to the differences in the shapes of the assemblies,the resultant ball-shaped metallacage displayed stronger and blue-shifted fluorescence compared to the barrel-shaped one in dilute solutions,while a reversal of fluorescence intensities was observed in the aggregation process.Overall,this work demonstrates that the photophysical properties of supramolecular coordination complexes can be affected by subtle geometrical factors,which can be controlled precisely at the molecular level.Yuhang Liu Zhewen Guo Yuchen Gu Guangfeng Li Shengbing Yang Xuzhou Yan Yi Shen Jinbing Wang 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,12:0
