| 1 | Nutrients concentration and changes in decade-scale in the central Bohai Sea显示文摘The nutrients contents and distributions are discussed briefly, based on the data obtained in 1998~1999. Besides explanation of the results,a 20 a time series data of nutrients and biological parameters for central Bohai Sea are reviewed. It is found that both concentration and relative content of nutrients have been changed dramatically. The increase of nitrogen and decrease of phosphate and silicate led to the dramatically increase of N/P ratio and the decrease of Si/N ratio. The situation of nitrogen limiting in central Bohai Sea is gradually changing to that of relative lack of phosphate and silicate. The decrease of the Huanghe River input to the Bohai Sea may be responsible for this change. These in turn may limit the growth of diatom and thus promote the development of pyrrophyta if other conditions (e.g. temperature and hydrodynamics) are suitable. | 2 | Roasting and leaching behaviors of vanadium and chromium in calcification roasting–acid leaching of high-chromium vanadium slag显示文摘Calcification roasting–acid leaching of high-chromium vanadium slag(HCVS)was conducted to elucidate the roasting and leaching behaviors of vanadium and chromium.The effects of the purity of Ca O,molar ratio between Ca O and V_2O_5(n(Ca O)/n(V_2O_5)),roasting temperature,holding time,and the heating rate used in the oxidation–calcification processes were investigated.The roasting process and mechanism were analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and thermogravimetry–differential scanning calorimetry(TG–DSC).The results show that most of vanadium reacted with Ca O to generate calcium vanadates and transferred into the leaching liquid,whereas almost all of the chromium remained in the leaching residue in the form of(Fe_(0.6)Cr_(0.4))_2O_3.Variation trends of the vanadium and chromium leaching ratios were always opposite because of the competitive reactions of oxidation and calcification between vanadium and chromium with Ca O.Moreover,Ca O was more likely to combine with vanadium,as further confirmed by thermodynamic analysis.When the HCVS with Ca O added in an n(Ca O)/n(V_2O_5)ratio of 0.5 was roasted in an air atmosphere at a heating rate of 10°C/min from room temperature to 950°C and maintained at this temperature for 60 min,the leaching ratios of vanadium and chromium reached91.14%and 0.49%,respectively;thus,efficient extraction of vanadium from HCVS was achieved and the leaching residue could be used as a new raw material for the extraction of chromium.Furthermore,the oxidation and calcification reactions of the spinel phases occurred at 592and 630°C for n(Ca O)/n(V_2O_5)ratios of 0.5 and 5,respectively. | Jing Wen Tao Jiang Mi Zhou Hui-yang Gao Jia-yi Liu Xiang-xin Xue | 2018 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2018,25,5: | 14 |
| 3 | Accumulation and speciation of selenium in Cardamine sp. in Yutangba Se Mining Field, Enshi, China显示文摘A naturally selenium-accumulating Cardamine sp. is growing in Yutangba Selenium Mining Field, Enshi area, Hubei Province, China, where the geochemical environment is selenium-enriched and endemic selenosis ever occurred in humans. The present study investigated the characteristics of accumulation, speciation and quantity of selenium in Cardamine sp. with HPLC-ICP-MS. Results show that Cardamine sp. can accumulate Se at most 1427 mg/kg in seedling leaves. Even after the biomass incensement of growing up, the plant still could accumulate Se up to several hundred of mg/kg in concentration. Moreover, the biomass enrichment coefficient(BEC) of Se is exceedingly high, in the seedling leaves mostly, higher than 50 mg/kg; in the range of 43.7–68 mg/kg; and the lowest value is higher than 3 mg/kg in mature fronds. Se is present in the plant predominantly in form of Se Cys2 with the highest concentration in seeds; up to 1081 mg/kg as Se. In contrast, Se Cys2 levels are low during early growth period; they are 136.1 mg/kg as Se in seedling fronds and 39.4 mg/kg as Se in mature fronds, respectively. Se Met concentration is comparatively low; 10.6 mg/kg as Se in seedling frond and 5.3 mg/kg as Se in half mature fronds, respectively. This indicates that Cardamine sp. is extremely efficient in extracting Se from soil and translocating it into its above-ground biomass. Therefore, Cardamine sp., found in Yutangba Se Mining Field may be a new Se hyperaccumulator. It is still uncertain whether the Se-accumulation or detoxification of Cardamine sp. happens through the pathway of Se Cys methylated to form Se-methylseleno Cys or through the formation of Se-carboxymethyl- selenohomocysteine. | 5 | Nitrous oxide emissions following seasonal freeze-thaw events from arable soils in Northeast China显示文摘Seasonal soil freeze-thaw events may enhance soil nitrogen transformation and thus stimulate nitrous oxide(N_2O)emissions in cold regions.However,the mechanisms of soil N_2O emission during the freeze-thaw cycling in the field remain unclear.We evaluated N_2O emissions and soil biotic and abiotic factors in maize and paddy fields over 20 months in Northeast China,and the structural equation model(SEM)was used to determine which factors affected N_2O production during non-growing season.Our results verified that the seasonal freeze-thaw cycles mitigated the available soil nitrogen and carbon limitation during spring thawing period,but simultaneously increased the gaseous N_2O-N losses at the annual time scale under field condition.The N_2O-N cumulative losses during the non-growing season amounted to 0.71 and 0.55 kg N ha^(–1) for the paddy and maize fields,respectively,and contributed to 66 and 18%of the annual total.The highest emission rates(199.2–257.4μg m^(–2) h^(–1))were observed during soil thawing for both fields,but we did not observe an emission peak during soil freezing in early winter.Although the pulses of N_2O emission in spring were short-lived(18 d),it resulted in approximately80%of the non-growing season N_2O-N loss.The N_2O burst during the spring thawing was triggered by the combined impact of high soil moisture,flush available nitrogen and carbon,and rapid recovery of microbial biomass.SEM analysis indicated that the soil moisture,available substrates including NH_4^+and dissolved organic carbon(DOC),and microbial biomass nitrogen(MBN)explained 32,36,16 and 51%of the N_2O flux variation,respectively,during the non-growing season.Our results suggested that N_2O emission during the spring thawing make a vital contribution of the annual nitrogen budget,and the vast seasonally frozen and snow-covered croplands will have high potential to exert a positive feedback on climate change considering the sensitive response of nitrogen biogeochemical cycling to the freeze-thaw disturbance. | CHEN Zhe YANG Shi-qi ZHANG Ai-ping JING Xin SONG Wei-min MI Zhao-rong ZHANG Qing-wen WANG Wen-ying YANG Zheng-li | 2018 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2018,17,1: | 8 |
| 6 | Bioactive Study on Mixtures of Epimedin C and Icariin Monomers with Invariant Molarity to Zebrafish Osteoporosis Model显示文摘Objective To evaluate the anti-osteoporosis effect of the mixtures of epimedin C and icariin monomers with invariant molarity on zebrafish osteoporosis model. Methods The zebrafishes, fertilized 4 d ago, were exposed in 11 groups of nutrient solutions with prednisolone(25 μmol/L) as well as epimedin C and icariin(15 μmol/L) of various contents. The ratio of epimedin C and icariin in the 11 groups were as follows: A(10:0), B(9:1), C(8:2), D(7:3), E(6:4), F(5:5), G(4:6), H(3:7), I(2:8), J(1:9), and K(0:10). Meanwhile, a negative control group with prednisolone(25 μmol/L) was prepare as S. The selected zebrafish fetus was put into the 24-hole culture plate, and ensure every 5 zebrafishes in 1 hole and 2 holes as a group. They were placed in incubator at 28.5 o C, and the daily changes of fluid were investigated until they were put to death on day 8and then fixed. After dyeing with alizarin red, the segmental venter of zebrafish skulls was observed and quantitative analysis of dyed area was conducted. Results Compared with the negative control group S, the integrated optical density(IOD) values of cranial dyed area in all groups increased significantly(P < 0.05); Compared with group S, the IOD value of cranial dyed area in mixtures of epimedium monomers increased significantly(P < 0.05). The mixtures of epimedium monomers were all effective in facilitating zebrafish cranial mineralization and preventing prednisolone from inducing osteoporosis. According to mixtures of A-K groups, zebrafish cranial mineralization gradually decreased with gradually reduced content of epimedin C, with significant difference among groups(P < 0.05). | 7 | Substrate stiffness differentially impacts autophagy of endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells显示文摘Stiffening of blood vessels is one of the most important characteristics in the process of many cardiovascular pathologies such as atherosclerosis,angiosteosis,and vascular aging.Increased stiffness of the vascular extracellular matrix drives artery pathology and alters phenotypes of vascular cell.Understanding how substrate stiffness impacts vascular cell behaviors is of great importance to the biomaterial design in tissue engineering,regenerative medicine,and medical devices.Here we report that changing substrate stiffness has a significant impact on the autophagy of vascular endothelial cells(VECs)and smooth muscle cells(VSMCs).Interestingly,our findings demonstrate that,with the increase of substrate stiffness,the autophagy level of VECs and VSMCs showed differential changes:endothelial autophagy levels reduced,leading to the reductions in a range of gene expression associated with endothelial function;while,autophagy levels of VSMCs increased,showing a transition from contractile to the synthetic phenotype.We further demonstrate that,by inhibiting cell autophagy,the expressions of endothelial functional gene were further reduced and the expression of VSMC calponin increased,suggesting an important role of autophagy in response of the cells to the challenge of microenvironment stiffness changing.Although the underlying mechanism requires further study,this work highlights the relationship of substrate stiffness,autophagy,and vascular cell behaviors,and enlightening the design principles of surface stiffness of biomaterials in cardiovascular practical applications. | Mi Hu Fan Jia Wei-Pin Huang Xu Li Deng-Feng Hu Jing Wang Ke-Feng Ren Guo-Sheng Fu Yun-Bing Wang Jian Ji | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,5: | 5 |
| 8 | Pharmacokinetics of H002, a novel S1PR_1 modulator, and its metabolites in rat blood using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry显示文摘A rapid and sensitive liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry(LC–MS/MS) method was developed and validated for the simultaneous determination of H002 and its phosphorylated metabolite, H002-P and hydroxylated metabolite H002-M, in rat blood. H001, an analogue of H002, was used as the internal standard.Blood samples were prepared by simple protein precipitation. The analytes and internal standard were separated on a Zorbax SB-C18 column with a gradient mobile phase consisting of methanol and water containing 0.1% formic acid at a flow rate of 0.2 mL /min with an operating temperature of 20 1C. The detection was performed on a triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer with positive electrospray ionization in multiple-reaction monitoring mode.Linear detection responses were obtained from 0.2–100 ng/mL for H002 and H002-M, while 0.5–100 ng/mL for H002-P. The intra- and inter-day precision(RSD%) was within 11.76%, with the accuracy(RE%) ranging from –9.84% to 9.12%. | 10 | Application of the Guiding Template Designed by Three-dimensional Printing Data for the Insertion of Sacroiliac Screws:a New Clinical Technique显示文摘This study is aimed to explore the clinical application of the guiding template designed by three-dimensional printing data for the insertion of sacroiliac screws.A retrospective study of 7 cases (from July 2016 to December 2016),in which the guiding template printed by the three-dimensional printing technique was used for the insertion of sacroiliac screws of patients with posterior ring injuries of pelvis,was performed.Totally,4 males and 3 females were included in template group,aged from 38to 65years old (mean 50.86±8.90).Of them,5 had sacral fractures (3 with Denis type Ⅰ and 2 with type Ⅱ)and 2 the separation of sacroiliac joint.Guiding templates were firstly made by the three-dimensional printing technique based on the pre-operative CT data. Surgical operations for the stabilization of pelvic ring by applying the guiding templates were carried out.A group of 8 patients with sacroiliac injuries treated by percutaneous sacroiliac screws were analyzed as a control group retrospectively.The time of each screw insertion,volume of intra-operative blood loss,and the exposure to X ray were analyzed and the Matta's radiological criteria were used to evaluate the reduction quality.The Majeed score was used to evaluate postoperative living quality.The visual analogue scale (VAS)was applied at different time points to judge pain relief of coccydynia.All the 7 patients in the template group were closely followed up radiographically and clinically for 14 to 20 months,mean (16.57±2.44)months.Totally 9 sacroiliac screws for the S 1 and S2 vertebra were inserted in the 7 patients.The time length for each screw insertion ranged from 450 to 870 s,mean (690.56±135.68)s,and the number of times of exposure to X ray were 4 to 8,mean (5.78±1.20).The intra-operative blood loss ranged from 45to 120 mL,mean (75±23.32)mL.According to Matta's radiology criteria,the fracture and dislocation reduction were excellent in 6cases and good in 1.The pre-operative VAS score ranged from 5.2 to 8.1,mean (7.13±1.00).The average one-week/six-month post-operative VAS was (5.33±0.78)and (1.33±0.66),respectively (P<0.05 when compared with pre-operative VAS).The 12-month post-operative Majeed score ranged from 86 to 92,mean (90.29±2.21).The three-dimensional printed guiding template for sacroiliac screw insertion,which could significantly shorten the operation time,provide a satisfied outcome of the stabilization of the pelvic ring,and protect doctors and patients from X-ray exposure,might be a practical and valuable new clinical technique. | Yi LIU Wu ZHOU Tian XIA Jing LIU Bo-bin MI Liang-cong HU Zeng-wu SHAO Guo-hui LIU | 2018 | Current Medical Science2018,38,6: | 4 |

| 12 | Design,synthesis and preliminary biological evaluation of brain targeting L-ascorbic acid prodrugs of ibuprofen显示文摘L-Ascorbic acid(AA,vitamin C) exhibits a high concentration in the brain.The transportation of AA in brain is mainly mediated by the glucose transporter 1(GLUT1) and the Na+-dependent vitamin C transporter SVCT2.While L-ascorbic acid C6-O conjugation has been investigated as a tool to enhance brain drug delivery,C5-O conjugation and C5-O & C6-O conjugation as brain targeting tools have not been reported.In this letter,ibuprofen was linked directly to C5-O,C6-O and C5-O & C6-O positions of L-ascorbic acid with eater bonds,providing prodrug 1,2 and 3,respectively,to improve their targeting abilities in the brain.Prodrug 1,2 and 3 were synthesized in facile ways with good yields.And the preliminary evaluation in vivo illustrated that prodrug 2 had a better targeting ability than prodrug 1. | 15 | Environmental taxation and regional inequality in China显示文摘In order to combat environmental pollution, China enacted the Environmental Protection Tax Law in early 2018. Yet the impacts of the environmental tax on individual regions with different socioeconomic statuses, which are crucial for social justice and public acceptance, remain unclear. Based on a MultiRegional Input-Output(MRIO) table and a nationally regulated tax payment calculation method, this study analyzes the distributional impacts of an environmental tax based upon province’s consumption from both inter-provincial and rural-urban aspects. The national tax revenue based on the current levy mechanism is estimated to be only one seventh of the economic loss from premature mortality caused by ambient particulate matter(PM2.5). The taxation may slightly alleviate urban-rural inequality but may not be helpful with reducing inter-provincial inequality. We further analyze two alternative levy mechanisms. | 16 | Enhancement of Ti-Cr-V BCC alloys on the dehydrogenation kinetics of Li-Mg-N-H hydrogen storage materials显示文摘The hydrogen storage properties of a Li-Mg-N-H material doped by a 4 mol.% Ti3Cr3V4 body centre cubic(BCC) alloy hydride and prepared with a ball-milling method were investigated by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and Sievert's technology test.The results show that the Ti3Cr3V4 BCC alloy hydride/Li-Mg-N-H composite has good reversible hydrogen storage properties.The dehydrogenation kinetics of the Li-Mg-N-H system can be greatly improved by doping the Ti3Cr3V4 BCC alloy hydride.The composite desorbed 4.1 wt.% hydrogen in the first 60 min at 473 K under 0.1 MPa pressure,but when without the BCC alloy addition,only 3.0 wt.% hydrogen was desorbed under the same dehydrogenation condition.It can be deduced that the Ti3Cr3V4 BCC alloy uniformly distributed in the Li-Mg-N-H substrate could decrease the activating energy of hydrogen molecules to H atoms and increase H diffusion paths in the composite,enhancing the dehydrogenation kinetics of the Li-Mg-N-H system. | WANG Jingchuan,LI Zhinian,LI Hualing,MI Jing,Lü Fang,WANG Shumao,LIU Xiaopeng,and JIANG Lijun General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals,Beijing 100088,China | 2010 | Rare Metals2010,29,6: | 3 |
| 17 | Species-specific detection and quantification of scyphomedusae in Jiaozhou Bay,China,using a quantitative real-time PCR assay显示文摘Over the past decades,jellyfish occurred increasingly and abundantly in coastal areas worldwide.Usually,biomass of jellyfish,especially when they bloom,can be determined by visual counting.However,tiny individuals of jellyfish(e.g.,planulae,polyps,and ephyrae)are difficult to detect in the field.In this study,species-specific quantitative real-time PCR assays(qPCR)(SYBR Green I)targeting the mitochondrial 16S rDNA(mt-16S rDNA)of jellyfish were developed and were used to estimate the distribution and seasonal fluctuations of four jellyfish species(Nemopilema nomurai,Cyanea nozakii,Rhopilema esculentum,and Aurelia coerulea)in Jiaozhou Bay(JZB),China in 2013.The mt-16S rDNA of A.coerulea and N.nomurai was detected in most of the survey months and it peaked in July(1.03×10^(4) copies/L)and September(1.08×10^(6) copies/L),respectively.The mt-16S rDNA of C.nozakii occurred from August to October only with monthly mean values of 7.18-46.17 copies/L and was mainly located from the middle part to the outer part of the bay.The mt-16S rDNA of R.esculentum was the least abundant among the four species and was detected in only one sample(B2 station in March),with a value of 88.49 copies/L.The Spearman correlation test revealed that phytoplankton biomass was significantly and positively correlated with the mt-16S rDNA abundance of A.coerulea(R=0.37,P<0.01)and negatively with the mt-16S rDNA of N.nomurai(R=-0.36,P<0.01).The qPCR assay will enable the identification and quantification of jellyfish species in their whole life history and can be used as an approach in combination of the traditional jellyfish survey. | Jianyan WANG Tiezhu MI Zhigang YU Guoshan WANG Qinsheng WEI Jing YANG Yu ZHEN | 2021 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,4: | 3 |

Under-actuated gripper has a wildly application in the field of space robot and industrial robot because of its better shape-adaptation. However it is difficult to achieve stable grasp owning to the uncertain properties of environment. A control strategy of adaptive matching the impedance parameters is proposed to achieve stable grasp. Firstly, the unknown objects are described as linear systems with unknown dynamics, and the parameters of the object are identified with the recursive least-squares(RLS) method through tactile sensor array. Then a desired impedance model is obtained by defining a cost function that includes the contact force, velocity and displacement errors, and the critical impedance parameters are found to minimize it. | 20 | Colorimetric determination of nanomolar concentrations of silicate in natural waters after liquid-liquid extraction using methyl isobutyl ketone显示文摘A sensitive solvent extraction method for the determination of nonamolar concentrations of silicate in natural waters is developed. According to the traditional aqueous silicate method,silicomolybdenum blue formed by the reaction between silicate and ammonium molydate and reduced by metol-sulfite reagent is extracted by methyl isobutyl ketone. The absorbance can be enhanced substantially up to 10-folds. The detection limit of silicate is 8 nmol/dm3,which is one tenth smaller than the traditional method,with the precision of 4.0% at a silicate level of 50 nmol/dm3 and 3.2% at a silicate level of 6 μmol/dm3. Comparing the calibration curves in the distilled water and seawater,it can be seen that the salt effect also exists in the extraction method. However,the salt effect is a linear function of the salinity and can be corrected by simple calibration. The proposed method is successfully applied to the determination of silicate in natural waters.
