2A mass-conservative average flow model based on finite element method for complex textured surfaces显示文摘A mass-conservative average flow model based on the finite element method(FEM) is introduced to predict the performances of textured surfaces applied in mechanical seals or thrust bearings.In this model,the Jakobsson-Floberg-Olsson(JFO) boundary conditions are applied to the average flow model for ensuring the mass-conservative law.Moreover,the non-uniform triangular grid is utilized,which can deal with the problem of complex geometric shapes.By adopting the modeling techniques,the model proposed here is capable of dealing with complex textured surfaces.The algorithm is proved correct by the numerical experiment.In addition,the model is employed to gain further insight into the influences of the dimples with different shapes and orientations on smooth and rough surfaces on the load-carrying capacity.XIE Yi LI YongJian SUO ShuangFu LIU XiangFeng LI JingHao WANG YuMing 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,10:8

4Integrated Control of Agricultural Non-point Source Pollution to Provide Safe and Healthy Drinking Water for Rural Areas显示文摘Agricultural non-point source pollution has become the main part of water pollution prevention and control in China. This paper made a brief introduction to the causes and hazards of agricultural non-point source pollution and the current situation of agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and control in China. 5Insights into the formation of secondary organic carbon in the summertime in urban Shanghai显示文摘To investigate formation mechanisms of secondary organic carbon(SOC) in Eastern China,measurements were conducted in an urban site in Shanghai in the summer of 2015. A period of high O_3 concentrations(daily peak > 120 ppb) was observed, during which daily maximum SOC concentrations exceeding 9.0 μg/(C·m^3). Diurnal variations of SOC concentration and SOC/organic carbon(OC) ratio exhibited both daytime and nighttime peaks. The SOC concentrations correlated well with O_x(= O_3+ NO_2) and relative humidity in the daytime and nighttime, respectively, suggesting that secondary organic aerosol formation in Shanghai is driven by both photochemical production and aqueous phase reactions. Single particle mass spectrometry was used to examine the formation pathways of SOC. Along with the daytime increase of SOC, the number fraction of elemental carbon(EC) particles coated with OC quickly increased from 38.1% to 61.9% in the size range of 250–2000 nm, which was likely due to gas-to-particle partitioning of photochemically generated semi-volatile organic compounds onto EC particles. In the nighttime, particles rich in OC components were highly hygroscopic, and number fraction of these particles correlated well with relative humidity and SOC/OC nocturnal peaks. Meanwhile, as an aqueous-phase SOC tracer, particles that contained oxalate-Fe(III) complex also peaked at night. These observations suggested that aqueous-phase processes had an important contribution to the SOC nighttime formation. 6An Android Malware Detection System Based on Feature Fusion显示文摘In order to improve the detection efficiency of Android malicious application, an Android malware detection system based on feature fusion is proposed on three levels. Feature fusion especially emphasizes on ten categories, which combines static and dynamic features and includes 377 features for classification. In order to improve the accuracy of malware detection, attribute subset selection and principle component analysis are used to reduce the dimensionality of fusion features. Random forest is used for classification. In the experiment, the dataset includes 43,822 benign applications and 8,454 malicious applications. The method can achieve 99.4% detection accuracy and 0.6% false positive rate. 7Effects of Shale and CaO Incorporation on Mechanical Properties and Autogenous Deformation of Early-age Concrete显示文摘The pre-soaked shale employed as an internal curing agent and CaO employed as expansion agent were incorporated into concrete to investigate their effects on the mechanical properties and autogenous deformation of early-age concrete.We have conducted the relevant tests for setting time,mechanical properties,internal relative humidity and autogenous deformation of early-age concrete with shale or/and CaO incorporation.The results indicate that the set behavior is delayed by shale addition but is accelerated with CaO.The shale addition firstly enhances and subsequently decreases the strength,but CEA addition has a weakening effect.Additionally,shale or/and CaO incorporation deteriorates the elastic modulus.The shale and CaO incorporation significantly improve the internal relative humidity of concrete.The internal curing efficacy of shale could synergistically mitigate the autogenous shrinkage,that is,could enhance the expansion of CaO and then greatly reduce the contraction,which is significantly beneficial to impede the shrinkage-introduced cracks of early-age concrete.赵海涛 LI Jinghao LIU Hui 徐文 LI Hua 王鹏刚 HUANG Jie ZHANG Yuming PAN Li JIANG Jianhua 2021Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2021,36,5:2
8The Impact on Extraction Effect of Polysaccharide from Ganoderma lucidum by Different Pretreatment显示文摘[Objectives] The research aimed to study the impact on extraction effect of polysaccharide from Ganoderma lucidum( lingzhi) by different pretreatment methods. [Methods] The impacts on extraction of G. lucidum polysaccharide by soaking,microwave and air flow fine pulverization were contrasted,and the extraction effect of G. lucidum polysaccharide by combining the optimal pretreatment manner with hot water extraction,alcohol extraction,alkali extraction,ultrasonic binding enzyme extraction,and microwave extraction was compared. Finally,the property of G. lucidum polysaccharide obtained after air flow fine pulverization pretreatment was detected and analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. [Results] The optimal pretreatment method was air flow fine pulverization. Compared with traditional method-direct extraction( coarse grinding combining hot water extraction),crude yield changed little,while polysaccharide content and yield were improved by 114% and 104%. The best combination manner was air flow fine pulverization pretreatment combining with alkali extraction. Compared with traditional method,crude yield,polysaccharide content and yield were improved by 76%,78% and 215% respectively. The property of G. lucidum polysaccharide obtained after air flow fine pulverization pretreatment was detected and analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. It was found that the treatment method had little impact on the property of G. lucidum polysaccharide. [Conclusions]Air flow fine pulverization pretreatment could greatly improve extraction effect of G. lucidum polysaccharide,which mainly improved the content and yield of G. lucidum polysaccharide,and extraction was more complete,with less impact on the property of the extracted polysaccharide. 9The advance in obtaining fault slip rate of strike slip fault-A review显示文摘Slip rate along the major active fault is an important parameter in the quantitative study of active tectonics.It is the average rate of fault slip during a certain period of time,reflecting the rate of strain energy accumulation on the fault zone.It cannot only be directly applied to evaluate the activity of the fault,the probabilistic seismic hazard analysis,but also important basic data for the study of geodynamics.However,due to the nonstandardized process of obtaining fault slip rates for a given strike-slip fault,the results could be diverse based on various methods by different researchers.In this review,we analyzed the main advances in the approaches to obtain fault slip rate.We found that there are four main sources affecting the final results of slip rate:the displacement along the fault,the dating of the corresponding displacement,the fitting of the displacement and corresponding dating results,and paleoslip analysis.The main advances in obtaining fault slip rates are based on improving the reli-ability of the above four main factors.To obtain a more reasonable and reliable slip rate for a given fault,it is necessary to select a suitable method according to the specific situation.Jinrui Liu Zhikun Ren Wei Min Guanghao Ha Jinghao Lei 2021Earthquake Research Advances2021,1,4:2
10Enabling a stable and dendrite-suppressed Zn anode via facile surface roughness engineering显示文摘The safety and cycle lifespan of zinc metal-based aqueous batteries are greatly restricted by zinc anode.The poor cycling performance of zinc metal anode is often considered to be impacted by the dendrite growth,surface passivation,zinc metal corrosion and hydrogen evolution reaction,while surface roughness is a matter that has often been ignored in past studies.Herein,a roughness gradient is constructed on the zinc anode surface by a simple grinding and pasting method.It has been found the modified zinc anodes with lower surface roughness exhibit the smaller zinc deposition overpotential and longer cycle life.Further,in situ optical microscopy photographs indicate that the zinc anode with an optimized roughness enables more uniform distribution of zinc precipitation and corrosion sites,which will facilitate a stable cycling performance of aqueous zinc ion batteries.The Zn anode dendrite-suppressing mechanism via surface roughness engineering was revealed through finite element computational simulation.These results emphasize the effectiveness of roughness engineering for tuning the surface physics of Zn anode and provide a facile strategy to develop better and safer aqueous zinc ion batteries.Jinghao Li Kehan Le Wei Wei 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,7:2
11Functional Metagenomics to Mine Soil Microbiome for Novel Cadmium Resistance Genetic Determinants显示文摘Metal resistance genes are valuable resources for genetic engineering of bioremediation tools. In this study, novel genetic determinants involved in cadmium(Cd) resistance were identified using a small-insert metagenomic DNA library constructed from an arable soil microbiome. A total of 16 recombinant plasmids harboring 49 putative open reading frames(ORFs) were found to be associated with enhanced Cd tolerance. In addition to several ORFs for ion transport/chelation and stress response, most ORFs were assumed to be associated with non-direct metal resistance mechanisms such as energy metabolism, protein/amino acid metabolism,carbohydrate/fatty acid metabolism, and signal transduction. Furthermore, 13 ORFs from five clones selected at random were cloned and subject to Cd resistance assay. Eight of these ORFs were positive for Cd resistance when expressed in Escherichia coli, among which four ORFs significantly reduced Cd accumulation and one increased Cd enrichment of the host cells. Notably, C1-ORF1, potentially encoding a histidine kinase-like adenosine triphosphatase, was the most effective Cd resistance determinant and reduced host Cd accumulation by 33.9%. 12Brillouin scattering spectrum for liquid detection and applications in oceanography显示文摘The Brillouin scattering spectrum has been used to investigate the properties of a liquid medium.Here,we propose an improved method based on the double-edge technique to obtain the Brillouin spectrum of a liquid.We calculated the transmission ratios and deduced the Brillouin shift and linewidth to construct the Brillouin spectrum by extracting the Brillouin edge signal through filtered double-edge data.We built a detection system to test the performance of this method and measured the Brillouin spectrum for distilled water at different temperatures and compared it with the theoretical prediction.The observed difference between the experimental and theoretical values for Brillouin shift and linewidth is less than 4.3 MHz and 3.2 MHz,respectively.Moreover,based on the double-edge technique,the accuracy of the extracted temperatures and salinity is approximately 0.1°C and 0.5‰,respectively,indicating significant potential for application in water detection and oceanography.Yuanqing Wang Jinghao Zhang Yongchao Zheng Yangrui Xu Jiaqi Xu Jiao Jiao Yun Su Hai-Feng Lü Kun Liang 2023Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,1:2

14Characteristics of root pullout resistance of Caragana korshinskii Kom.in the loess area of northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,China显示文摘Roots exert pullout resistance under pullout force,allowing plants to resist uprooting.However,the pullout resistance characteristics of taproot-type shrub species of different ages remain unclear.In this study,in order to improve our knowledge of pullout resistance characteristics of taproot systems of shrub species,we selected the shrub species Caragana korshinskii Kom.in different growth periods as the research plant and conducted in situ root pullout test.The relationships among the maximum pullout resistance,peak root displacement,shrub growth period,and aboveground growth indices(plant height and plant crown breadth)were analyzed,as well as the mechanical process of uprooting.Pullout resistance of 4-15 year-old C.korshinskii ranged from 2.49(±0.25)to 14.71(±4.96)kN,and the peak displacement ranged from 11.77(±8.61)to 26.50(±16.09)cm.The maximum pullout resistance and the peak displacement of roots increased as a power function(R^(2)=0.9038)and a linear function(R^(2)=0.8242)with increasing age,respectively.The maximum pullout resistance and the peak displacement increased with increasing plant height;however,this relationship was not significant.The maximum pullout resistance increased exponentially(R^(2)=0.5522)as the crown breadth increased.There was no significant relationship between the peak displacement and crown breadth.The pullout resistance and displacement curve were divided into three stages:the initial nonlinear growth,linear growth,and nonlinear stages.Two modes of failure of a single root occurred when the roots were subjected to vertical loading forces:the synchronous breakage mode and the periderm preferential breakage mode.These findings provide a foundation for further investigation of the soil reinforcement and slope protection mechanisms of this shrub species in the loess area of northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,China.LIU Yabin SHI Chuan YU Dongmei WANG Shu PANG Jinghao ZHU Haili LI Guorong HU Xiasong 2022Journal of Arid Land2022,14,7:2

18Dietary fat intake and liver cancer risk: A prospective cohort study in Chinese women显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to determine whether dietary fat intake increased liver cancer risk in Chinese women from a prospective population-based cohort.Methods:A total of 72,704 Chinese women were followed up from the time of baseline recruitment(1996–2000)to the end of 2016.Dietary fat intake was calculated using a validated food frequency questionnaire.The Cox regression model was used to assess the hazard ratio(HR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)for dietary fat intake and liver cancer risk.Results:We identified 252 incident liver cancer cases out of 1,267,845 person-years during the overall follow-up time.Null associations,neither in quartiles nor per standard deviation(SD)increment,were detected between liver cancer risk and dietary total fat,fat subtypes and subtype ratios,and food sources.The HR(95%CI)of the 1-SD increment was 1.03(0.90–1.17)for total fat,1.06(0.93–1.20)for saturated fat,1.06(0.93–1.21)for monounsaturated fat,and 1.00(0.89–1.13)for polyunsaturated fat.Similar null associations were observed in stratification analyses according to body mass index and menopausal status.Conclusions:In our prospective cohort study,no significant association was observed in Chinese women between dietary fat and liver cancer risk,and in stratification and sensitivity analyses.Xiaowei Ji Jing Wang Zhuoying Li Qiuming Shen Jiayi Tuo Jinghao Bi Yuting Tan Honglan Li Yongbing Xiang 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,3:1
