| 7 | Milk fat globule membrane supplementation protects againstβ-lactoglobul-ininduced food allergy in mice via upregulation of regulatory T cells and enhancement of intestinal barrier in a microbiota-derived short-chain fatty acids manner显示文摘Milk fat globule membrane(MFGM),which contains abundant glycoproteins and phospholipids,exerts beneficial effects on intestinal health and immunomodulation.The aim of this study was to evaluate the protective effects and possible underlying mechanisms of MFGM on cow’s milk allergy(CMA)in aβ-lactoglobulin(BLG)-induced allergic mice model.MFGM was supplemented to allergic mice induced by BLG at a dose of 400 mg/kg body weight.Results demonstrated that MFGM alleviated food allergy symptoms,decreased serum levels of lipopolysaccharide,pro-inflammatory cytokines,immunoglobulin(Ig)E,Ig G1,and Th2 cytokines including interleukin(IL)-4,while increased serum levels of Th1 cytokines including interferon-γand regulatory T cells(Tregs)cytokines including IL-10 and transforming growth factor-β.MFGM modulated gut microbiota and enhanced intestinal barrier of BLG-allergic mice,as evidenced by decreased relative abundance of Desulfobacterota,Rikenellaceae,Lachnospiraceae,and Desulfovibrionaceae,while increased relative abundance of Bacteroidetes,Lactobacillaceae and Muribaculaceae,and enhanced expressions of tight junction proteins including Occludin,Claudin-1 and zonula occludens-1.Furthermore,MFGM increased fecal short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)levels,which elevated G protein-coupled receptor(GPR)43 and GPR109A expressions.The increased expressions of GPR43 and GPR109A induced CD103+dendritic cells accumulation and promoted Tregs differentiation in mesenteric lymph node to a certain extent.In summary,MFGM alleviated CMA in a BLG-induced allergic mice model through enhancing intestinal barrier and promoting Tregs differentiation,which may be correlated with SCFAs-mediated activation of GPRs.These findings suggest that MFGM may be useful as a promising functional ingredient against CMA. | Han Gong Tiange Li Dong Liang Jingxin Gao Xiaohan Liu Xueying Mao | 2024 | Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,1: | 1 |
| 8 | Responses of nitrification performance,triclosan resistome and diversity of microbes to continuous triclosan stress in activated sludge system显示文摘Triclosan(TCS)is commonly found in wastewater treatment plants,which often affects biological treatment processes.The responses of nitrification,antibiotic resistome and microbial community under different TCS concentrations in activated sludge system were evaluated in this study.The experiment was conducted in a sequencing batch reactor(SBR)for 240 days.Quantitative PCR results demonstrated that the abundance of ammonium oxidizing bacteria could be temporarily inhibited by 1 mg/L TCS and then gradually recovered.And the abundances of nitrite oxidizing bacteria(NOB)under 2.5 and 4 mg/L TCS were three orders of magnitude lower than that of seed sludge,which accounted for partial nitrification.When the addition of TCS was stopped,the abundance of NOB increased.The mass balance experiments of TCS demonstrated that the primary removal pathway of TCS changed from adsorption to biodegradation as TCS was continuously added into the SBR system.Moreover,TCS increased the abundance of mexB,indicating the efflux pump might be the main TCS-resistance mechanism.As a response to TCS,bacteria could secrete more protein(PN)than polysaccharide.Three-dimensional excitation-emission matrix revealed that tryptophan PN-like substances might be the main component in PN to resist TCS.High-throughput sequencing found that the relative abundances of Paracoccus,Pseudoxanthomonas and Thauera increased,which could secrete extracellular polymeric substances(EPS).And Sphingopyxis might be the main TCS-degrading bacteria.Overall,TCS could cause partial nitrification and increase the relative abundances of EPS-secreting bacteria and TCS-degrading bacteria. | Da Zhang Jingfeng Gao Lifang Zhang Wenzhi Zhang Jingxin Jia Huihui Dai Zhiqi Wang | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,6: | 1 |

| 10 | Detection and recognition of veterinary drug residues in beef using hyperspectral discrete wavelet transform and deep learning显示文摘A fast,non-destructive recognition method for veterinary drug residues in beef was proposed to mitigate the laborious sample preparation and long detection times associated with conventional chemical detection techniques.Control beef samples free of veterinary drug residues and four groups of beef sprayed with relevant concentrations of metronidazole,ofloxacin,salbutamol,and dexamethasone under ambient conditions were analyzed by 400-1000 nm hyperspectral imaging followed by multiplicative scatter correction preprocessing.Data dimension reduction was performed using Competitive Adaptive Reweighted Sampling(CARS),Principal Component Analysis(PCA),and Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT)based on Haar,db3,bior1.5,sym5,and rbio1.3 wavelet basis functions.Treated data were subjected to Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),Multilayer Perceptron(MLP),Random Forest(RF),and Support Vector Machine(SVM)modelling.CNN,MLP,SVM,and RF algorithms achieved overall accuracies of 91.6%,88.6%,87.6%,and 86.2%,respectively,when combined with DWT(wavelet basis functions and numbers of transform layers being Haar-4,db3-2,bior1.5-4,and sym5-3,respectively).The algorithm Kappa coefficients(0.89,0.86,0.85,and 0.83,respectively)and time consumption for prediction(140.60 ms,57.85 ms,70.67 ms,and 87.16 ms,respectively)were also superior to models based on CARS and PCA.DWT combined with deep learning can shorten prediction times,considerably improve the accuracy of classification and recognition,and alleviate the Hughes phenomenon,thus providing a new method for the fast,non-destructive detection and recognition of veterinary drug residues in beef. | Rongchang Jiang Jingxin Shen Xinran Li Rui Gao Qinghe Zhao Zhongbin Su | 2022 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,1: | 0 |

The DNA of common livestock and poultry meat( including mutton,beef,pork,rabbit meat,pigeon meat,quail meat,chicken,duck and goose) was used as template. Though PCR amplification and specific detection,a quick determination method was established to identify the avian-derived ingredients. The results showed that the selected primers could identify the ingredients of animal origin effectively and quickly. | 14 | Energy Consumption in China's Construction Industry: Energy Driving and Driven Abilities from a Regional Perspective显示文摘The construction industry is one of the largest energy consumers in China. It not only uses energy directly but also consumes a large amount of embodied energy hidden in intermediate goods and services from other industries. This paper utilizes the multi-regional input-output(MRIO)model to measure the embodied energy consumption in China's construction industry at the province level. To quantify the backward and forward linkages between the construction industry and other industries, the energy-driven and energy-driving abilities of the construction industry are investigated for 30 provinces. The results show that the values of the energy-driven coefficients are significantly larger than the energy-driving coefficients, indicating that the construction industry is highly dependent on products from other industries and other regions, not vice versa. The construction industries in the southwest and northwest regions of China have the highest energy-driven coefficients, showing that the construction industries in west China heavily rely on indirect energy embodied in goods and services. This particularly applies in Guangxi and Hainan provinces, which have the highest energydriven abilities and the lowest energy-driving abilities. | 15 | Analysis of Causes of “7.21” Rainstorm in Zhongwei City显示文摘Conventional information of Micaps,NCEP reanalysis data,and data from regional automatic weather stations were used to analyze the causes of rainstorm in southern mountains of Zhongwei City on July 21,2012. The results showed that the favorable circulation situation ' high in east and low in west' to rainfall in NIngxia formed at 500 hPa before the precipitation appeared,and the heavy rainfall generated when cold air over Lake Baikal moved eastward and joined with warm and wet airflow on the northwest side of 584 line in Hetao region. Ground frontal surface and shear lines at 700 and 500 hPa were main influencing systems of heavy rainfall. Positive vorticity area at low levels,water vapor convergence,ascending motion and stratification instability provided thermal,dynamic and energy conditions for the formation of the rainstorm. The rainstorm area was situated in wind direction convergence zone where southwest airflow changed into easterly airflow at 700 hPa. Sounding data show that temperature and humidity were high in the lower atmosphere which was nearly saturated,and atmospheric convection was unstable before the rainstorm appeared. | 16 | CTCF organizes inter-A compartment interactions through RYBP-dependent phase separation显示文摘Chromatin is spatially organized into three-dimensional structures at different levels including A/B compartments, topologically associating domains and loops. The canonical CTCF-mediated loop extrusion model can explain the formation of loops. However, the organization mechanisms underlying long-range chromatin interactions such as interactions between A–A compartments are still poorly understood. Here we show that different from the canonical loop extrusion model, RYBP-mediated phase separation of CTCF organizes inter-A compartment interactions. Based on this model, we designed and verified an induced CTCF phase separation system in embryonic stem cells (ESCs), which facilitated inter-A compartment interactions, improved self-renewal of ESCs and inhibited their differentiation toward neural progenitor cells.
