Development of a Hand Exoskeleton System for Index Finger Rehabilitation显示文摘In order to overcome the drawbacks of traditional rehabilitation method, the robot-aided rehabilitation has been widely investigated for the recent years. And the hand rehabilitation robot,as one of the hot research fields, remains many challenging issues to be investigated. This paper presents a new hand exoskeleton system with some novel characteristics.Firstly, both active and passive rehabilitative motions are realized.Secondly, the device is elaborately designed and brings advantages in many aspects. For example, joint motion is accomplished by a parallelogram mechanism and high level motion control is therefore made very simple without the need of complicated kinematics. The adjustable joint limit design ensures that the actual joint angles don't exceed the joint range of motion(ROM) and thus the patient safety is guaranteed. This design can fit to the different patients with different joint ROM as well as to the dynamically changing ROM for individual patient. The device can also accommodate to some extent variety of hand sizes.Thirdly, the proposed control strategy simultaneously realizes the position control and force control with the motor driver which only works in force control mode.Meanwhile, the system resistance compensation is preliminary realized and the resisting force is effectively reduced. Some experiments were conducted to verify the proposed system.Experimentally collected data show that the achieved ROM is close to that of a healthy hand and the range of phalange length(ROPL) covers the size of a typical hand, satisfying the size need of regular hand rehabilitation. In order to evaluate the performance when it works as a haptic device in active mode, the equivalent moment of inertia(MOI) of the device was calculated. The results prove that the device has low inertia which is critical in order to obtain good backdrivability. The experiments also show that in the active mode the virtual interactive force is successfully feedback to the finger and the resistance is reduced by one-third;for the passive control mode, the desired trajectory is realized satisfactorily. | LI Jiting WANG Shuang WANG Ju ZHENG Ruoyin ZHANG Yuru CHEN Zhongyuan | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,2: | 12
Precise localization of small pulmonary nodules using Pre-VATS with Xper-CT in combination with real-time fluoroscopy-guided coil:report of 15 patients显示文摘Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the value of precise localization of nodules using pre-video-assisted thoracic surgery(VATS) Xper–CT in combination with real-time fluoroscopy-guided coil in the resection of pulmonary nodules using VATS. Materials and Methods: Precise localization of nodules using Xper-CT in combination with real-time fluoroscopy-guided coil and wedge resection using VATS were conducted on 15 patients with 17 small pulmonary nodules(diameter 0.5–1.5 cm) from April 2015 to January 2016. The value of localization was evaluated in terms of procedure time, type of coils, associated complications of localization, and VATS success rate. Results: The success rate of coil localization was found to be 100% in the primary stage(as shown by the CT scan), and the average procedure time was 30–45 min(35.6 ± 3.05 min). No deaths or major complications occurred. Minor complications included five incidents of pneumothorax(the morbidity was 29.4%, 5/17; no patient required chest tube drainage). The dislocation of coil was found in one patient. The results of pathological examination of 17 small pulmonary nodules revealed 11 primary lung cancers, 1 mesenchymal tumor, 3 nonspecific chronic inflammations, 1 hamartoma, and 1 tuberculosis. Two patients with primary lung cancer underwent lobectomy with mediastinal lymph node dissection. Conclusion: The preoperative precise localization of small pulmonary nodules using Xper-CT-guided coil is an effective and safe technique. It helps in the resection of nodules using VATS. It increases the rate of lung wedge resection with few complications and allows for proper diagnosis with a low thoracotomy conversion rate. | Jiemin Cheng Changyu Li Liangwen Wang Jiting Liang Zhiping Yan Jiani Hu Huibing Shi | 2018 | Journal of Interventional Medicine2018,1,2: | 8
Multi-objective evolutionary optimization for geostationary orbit satellite mission planning显示文摘In the past few decades, applications of geostationary orbit(GEO) satellites have attracted increasing attention, and with the development of optical technologies, GEO optical satellites have become popular worldwide. This paper proposes a general working pattern for a GEO optical satellite, as well as a target observation mission planning model. After analyzing the requirements of users and satellite control agencies, two objectives are simultaneously considered: maximization of total profit and minimization of satellite attitude maneuver angle. An NSGA-II based multi-objective optimization algorithm is proposed, which contains some heuristic principles in the initialization phase and mutation operator, and is embedded with a traveling salesman problem(TSP) optimization. The validity and performance of the proposed method are verified by extensive numerical simulations that include several types of point target distributions. | Jiting Li Sheng Zhang Xiaolu Liu Renjie He | 2017 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2017,28,5: | 3

A BINOL Based Fluorescence Sensor for Distinction of D-Glucose显示文摘A saccharide fluorescent receptor based on 1,1'-binaphthol was developed. The boronic acids groups are di-rectly attached to the 3,3'-positions of BINOL which acted as probes to saccharides. The methyl protected receptor R1 showed better response to D-fructose compared to other saccharides in the fluorescence quenching experiment. To improve the selectivity of D-glucose,the triethylene glycol protected receptor R2 was developed.Receptor R2 has a better water-solubility than R1 that can be applied in completely aqueous environment. With receptor R2,D-glucose has a different response to other saccharides that can be useful for the distinction of D-glucose. | Bangyu Xu Jiting Hou Kun Li Zhengwei Lu Xiaoqi Yu | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2015,33,1: | 1
Experiments on plasma dynamics of electrical wire explosion in air显示文摘Besides a typical high‐density plasma source, electrical explosion of conductors is also indispensable in switches, nanomaterial synthesis, shock‐wave sources, etc. In this paper,an experimental study regarding plasma dynamics of electrical wire explosions(μs‐timescale)is presented, with spatiotemporal resolved diagnostics.Pure Cu/Ni wire and Cu‐Ni alloy wire were used and compared. The alloy wire usually has a higher resistivity, resulting in a higher initial energy deposition(heating)rate.Abel inverse transformation indicated that the plasma radiation focussed on the outer region of the discharge channel for the alloy wire.In addition, the metallic vapour determined by the material properties had a considerable influence on the plasma process and resulting nanomaterials. In particular, both transverse and axial‐layered structures were observed in alloy wire vapour. In addition, for the first time, the expanding arc‐like plasma of explosion products was understood and examined from aspects of material properties and energy relaxation. The later stage of wire explosion resembled the state of regular metal vapour arcs under 1 MPa pressure. Finally, the core factor for the fast energy deposition stage of wire explosion was ascertained.Correlations between pre‐exposition circuit parameters and post‐explosion dynamic effects were found, which is significant for practical applications. | Ruoyu Han Chen Li Wei Yuan Jiting Ouyang Jiawei Wu Yanan Wang Weidong Ding Yongmin Zhang | 2022 | High Voltage2022,7,1: | 1
Modeling hepatoblastoma development with human fetal liver organoids reveals YAP1 activation is sufficient for tumorigenesis显示文摘Dear Editor,Hepatoblastoma(HB)is a predominant hepatic neoplasm that develops in children from 0 to 4 years of age at the rate of 2.16 per 1,000,000.It originates from abnormal differentiation of hepatocyte precursors(hepatoblasts)during embryogenesis(Sumazin et al.,2017).Approximately 20%of children with HB have metastasis in lung at diagnosis, which indicates poor prognosis(Angelico et al.,2019).While surgery in combination of chemotherapy and/or metastasectomy is the most popular therapy, relapse happens in a significant portion of HB patients(Zhang et al.,2021).Therefore,novel and less aggressive therapies targeting the pathogenesis of HB should be explored to prolong patients’s disease-free survival as well as to improve their quality of life. | Li Yang Jin Chen Jianqing Liang Yufeng Zhang Qingzhe Wang Xiaojun Ren Jinsong Wei Qianchun Gong Jiting Zhang Ning Jiang Xinhua Lin Jin Li Bing Zhao | 2022 | Protein & Cell2022,13,9: | 1
Regional gray matter atrophy and neuropsychologcal problems in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis显示文摘In multiple sclerosis, gray matter atrophy is extensive, and cognitive deficits and mood disorders are frequently encountered. It has been conjectured that focal atrophy is associated with emotional decline. However, conventional MRI has revealed that the pathological characteristics cannot fully account for the mood disorders. Moreover, there is no correlation between cognitive disorders and MRI results in clinically isolated syndromes or in cases of definite multiple sclerosis. In this casecontrol study, voxel-based morphometric analysis was performed on 11 subjects with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis, and the results show that these patients exhibit gray matter atrophy. Moreover, the gray matter atrophy in the superior and middle gyri of the right frontal lobe in patients with multiple sclerosis was correlated with scores from the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale. The scores obtained with the Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status were associated with gray matter atrophy in the middle gyrus of the left frontal lobe, the superior and middle gyrus of the right frontal lobe, the middle gyrus of the left cingulate, the superior and middle gyri of the left frontal lobe, and the triangular area of the left frontal lobe. However, there was no statistical significance. These findings suggest that the cingulate and frontal cortices of the dominant hemisphere are the most severely atrophic regions of the brain, and this atrophy is correlated with cognitive decline and emotional abnormalities. | Aiyu Lin Fuyong Chen Fang Liu Zhiwen Li Ying Liu Shifang Lin Xiaoyi Wang Jiting Zhu | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,21: | 0
Experiments on the characteristics of underwater electrical wire explosions for reservoir stimulation显示文摘Underwater shock waves generated by pulsed electrical discharges are an effective, economical, and environmentally friendly means of stimulating reservoirs, and this technology has received much attention and intensive research in the past few years. This paper reviews the main results of recent work on underwater electrical wire explosion(UEWE)for reservoir stimulation.Aplatform is developed for microsecond singlewire explosions in water, and diagnostics based on a voltage probe, current coil, pressure probe, photodiode, and spectrometer are used to characterize the UEWE process and accompanying shock waves.First, the UEWE characteristics under different discharge types are studied and general principles are clarified.Second, the shock-wave generation mechanism is investigated experimentally by interrupting the electrical energy injection into the wire at different stages of the wire-explosion process. It is found that the vaporization process is vital for the formation of shock waves, whereas the energy deposited after voltage collapse has only a limited effect.Furthermore, the relationships between the electrical-circuit and shock-wave parameters are investigated, and an empirical approach is developed for estimating the shock-wave parameters.Third, how the wire material and water state affect the wire-explosion process is studied. To adjust the shock-wave parameters,a promising method concerning energetic material load is proposed and tested. Finally, the fracturing effect of the pulsed-discharge shock waves is discussed,as briefly are some of the difficulties associated with UEWE-based reservoir stimulation. | Ruoyu Han Jiawei Wu Haibin Zhou Yongmin Zhang Aici Qiu Jiaqi Yan Weidong Ding Chen Li Chenyang Zhang Jiting Ouyang | 2020 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2020,5,4: | 0

Characterization and structure analysis of the heterosolvate of erythromycin thiocyanate显示文摘Erythromycin thiocyanate is widely used for the production of other macrolide antibiotics. In this work, a novel heterosolvate of this pharmaceutical compound has been obtained and characterized for the first time, which was transformed from the dihydrate form in the acetone solvent through evaporation crystallization. Thermal behavior together with compositional analysis revealed that both water and acetone molecules participated in the formation of the crystal lattice which is rarely reported before. The general chemical name of the heterosolvate may be defined as erythromycin thiocyanate sesquihydrate hemiacetonate. Furthermore, studies on solid-state spectral analysis provided strong evidence of intermolecular hydrogen bonds in heterosolvate crystals. According to the crystal structure determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction, the formation mechanism of the heterosolvate is proposed in which strong multihydrogen bondings between water and solute molecules form the layer structure. While acetone molecules form single-hydrogen bonds with solutes and reside in channels between layers. This well explains why acetone solvent is easy to escape from the crystal structure during desolvation. | Yuanjie Li Qiuxiang Yin Meijing Zhang Ying Bao Baohong Hou Jingkang Wang Jiting Huang Ling Zhou | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,4: | 0
