1De novo assembly of a Chinese soybean genome显示文摘Soybean was domesticated in China and has become one of the most important oilseed crops. Due to bottlenecks in their introduction and dissemination, soybeans from different geographic areas exhibit extensive genetic diversity. Asia is the largest soybean market; therefore, a high-quality soybean reference genome from this area is critical for soybean research and breeding.Here, we report the de novo assembly and sequence analysis of a Chinese soybean genome for 'Zhonghuang 13' by a combination of SMRT, Hi-C and optical mapping data. The assembled genome size is 1.025 Gb with a contig N50 of 3.46 Mb and a scaffold N50 of 51.87 Mb. Comparisons between this genome and the previously reported reference genome(cv. Williams82) uncovered more than 250,000 structure variations. A total of 52,051 protein coding genes and 36,429 transposable elements were annotated for this genome, and a gene co-expression network including 39,967 genes was also established. 8Simulation of the neck growth of non-isometric biosphere during initial sintering显示文摘Because powders are mostly non-isometric during the sintering process,copper pow-ders were chosen to study the effects of four material transport mechanisms,including surface diffusion,grain-boundary diffusion,volume diffusion,and multi-couplings.These material transport mechanisms were studied with respect to sintering neck growth of a non-isometric biosphere during initial sintering.The evolution of the neck growth in the four transport mechanisms was simulated by Visual C++ as well based on the model of di?erent particles.The results show that the increase of the sintering temperature,both the grain-boundary diffusion and volume diffusion play primary roles in neck growth,while surface diffusion gradually becomes the secondary mechanism.Both the sintered neck and the shrinkage of the two centers increase with increasing temperature by means of the coupling diffusion mechanism.The radius of the sintering neck decreased,and the shrinkage rate of the two centers increased with an increase of the diameter ratio of the two spheres.Jixiang DU Shuhua LIANG Xianhui WANG Zhikang FAN 2009Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2009,22,4:1

13Robust feature learning for online discriminative tracking without large-scale pre-training显示文摘Owing to the inherent lack of training data in visual tracking,recent work in deep learning-based trackers has focused on learning a generic representation ofltine from large-scale training data and transferring the pre-trained feature representation to a tracking task.Offline pre-training is time-consuming,and the learned generic representation may be either less discriminative for tracking specific objects or overfitted to typical tracking datasets.In this paper, we propose an online discriminative tracking method based on robust feature learning without large-scale pre-training. Specifically,we first design a PCA filter bank-based convolutional neural network (CNN)architecture to learn robust features online with a few positive and negative samples in the high-dimensional feature space.Then,we use a simple softthresholding method to produce sparse features that are more robust to target appearance variations.Moreover,we increase the reliability of our tracker using edge information generated from edge box proposals during the process of visual tracking.Finally,effective visual tracking results are achieved by systematically combining the tracking information and edge box-based scores in a particle filtering framework.Extensive results on the widely used online tracking benchmark (OTB-50)with 50videos validate the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed tracker without large-scale pre-training.Jun ZHANG Bineng ZHONG Pengfei WANG Cheng WANG Jixiang DU 2018Frontiers of Computer Science2018,12,6:1

15Study on l uidity of squeeze cast AZ91D magnesium alloy with dif erent wall thicknesses显示文摘Rectangular cross-section specimens with different section thicknesses were prepared to study the infl uences of pouring temperature, mould temperature and squeeze velocity on the fl uidity of squeeze cast AZ91D magnesium alloy by means of orthogonal test design method. The results show that pouring temperature, mould temperature and squeeze velocity can significantly affect the fluidity of magnesium alloy specimens with wall thickness no more than 4 mm, and the pouring temperature is the most infl uential factor on the fl uidity of specimens with wall thickness of 1, 2 and 3 mm, while mould temperature is the one for specimens with wall thickness of 4 mm. Increasing pouring temperature between 700 °C and 750 °C is benefi cial to the fl uidity of AZ91D magnesium alloy, and increasing mould temperature signifi cantly enhances the fi lling ability of thick(3 and 4 mm) section castings. The fl uidity of squeeze cast magnesium alloy increases with the increase of wall thickness. It is not recommended to produce magnesium alloy casting with wall thickness of smaller than 3 mm by squeeze cast process due to the poor fl uidity. 17Tile selection method based on error minimization for photomosaic image creation显示文摘Photomosaic images are composite images composed of many small images called tiles.In its overall visual effect,a photomosaic image is similar to the target image,and photomosaics are also called“montage art”.Noisy blocks and the loss of local information are the major obstacles in most methods or programs that create photomosaic images.To solve these problems and generate a photomosaic image in this study,we propose a tile selection method based on error minimization.A photomosaic image can be generated by partitioning the target image in a rectangular pattern,selecting appropriate tile images,and then adding them with a weight coefficient.Based on the principles of montage art,the quality of the generated photomosaic image can be evaluated by both global and local error.Under the proposed framework,via an error function analysis,the results show that selecting a tile image using a global minimum distance minimizes both the global error and the local error simultaneously.Moreover,the weight coefficient of the image superposition can be used to adjust the ratio of the global and local errors.Finally,to verify the proposed method,we built a new photomosaic creation dataset during this study.The experimental results show that the proposed method achieves a low mean absolute error and that the generated photomosaic images have a more artistic effect than do the existing approaches.Hongbo ZHANG Xin GAO Jixiang DU Qing LEI Lijie YANG 2021Frontiers of Computer Science2021,15,3:0
