| 1 | Synthesis and evaluation of an oil-soluble viscosity reducer for heavy oil显示文摘To reduce the viscosity of highly-viscous oil of the Tahe oilfield (Xinjiang,China),an oilsoluble polybasic copolymer viscosity reducer for heavy oil was synthesized using the orthogonal method.The optimum reaction conditions are obtained as follows:under the protection of nitrogen,a reaction time of 9 h,monomer mole ratio of reaction materials of 3:2:2 (The monomers are 2-propenoic acid,docosyl ester,maleic anhydride and styrene,respectively),initiator amount of 0.8% (mass percent of the sum of all the monomers) and reaction temperature of 80 oC.This synthesized viscosity reducer is more effective than commercial viscosity reducers.The rate of viscosity reduction reached 95.5% at 50 oC.Infrared spectra (IR) and interfacial tensions of heavy oil with and without viscosity reducer were investigated to understand the viscosity reduction mechanism.When viscosity reducer is added,the molecules of the viscosity reducer are inserted amongst the molecules of crude oil,altering the original intermolecular structure of crude oil and weakening its ability to form hydrogen bonds with hydroxyl or carboxyl groups,so the viscosity of crude oil is reduced.Field tests of the newly developed oil-soluble viscosity reducer was carried out in the Tahe Oilfield,and the results showed that 44.5% less light oil was needed to dilute the heavy oil to achieve the needed viscosity. | Guo Jixiang Wang Heyi Chen Chaogang Chen Yun Xie Xiaohai | 2010 | Petroleum Science2010,7,4: | 24 |
| 2 | Poxue Huayu and Tianjing Busui Decoction for cerebral hemorrhage Upregulation of neurotrophic factor expression显示文摘This study established a rat model of cerebral hemorrhage by injecting autologous anticoagulated blood.Rat models were intragastrically administered 5,10,20 g/kg Poxue Huayu and Tianjing Busui Decoction,supplemented with Hirudo,raw rhubarb,raw Pollen Typhae,gadfly,Fructrs Trichosanthis,Radix Notoginseng,Rhizoma Acori Talarinowii,and glue of tortoise plastron,once a day,for 14 consecutive days.Results demonstrated that brain water content significantly reduced in rats with cerebral hemorrhage,and intracerebral hematoma volume markedly reduced after treatment.Immunohistochemical staining revealed that brain-derived neurotrophic factor,tyrosine kinase B and vascular endothelial growth factor expression noticeably increased around the surrounding hematoma.Reverse transcription-PCR revealed that brain-derived neurotrophic factor and tyrosine kinase B mRNA expression significantly increased around the surrounding hematoma.Neurologic impairment obviously reduced.These results indicated that Poxue Huayu and Tianjing Busui Decoction exert therapeutic effects on cerebral hemorrhage by upregulating the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor. | Jixiang Ren Xiangyu Zhou Jian Wang Jianjun Zhao Pengguo Zhang | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,22: | 19 |

| 6 | De novo assembly of a Chinese soybean genome显示文摘Soybean was domesticated in China and has become one of the most important oilseed crops. Due to bottlenecks in their introduction and dissemination, soybeans from different geographic areas exhibit extensive genetic diversity. Asia is the largest soybean market; therefore, a high-quality soybean reference genome from this area is critical for soybean research and breeding.Here, we report the de novo assembly and sequence analysis of a Chinese soybean genome for 'Zhonghuang 13' by a combination of SMRT, Hi-C and optical mapping data. The assembled genome size is 1.025 Gb with a contig N50 of 3.46 Mb and a scaffold N50 of 51.87 Mb. Comparisons between this genome and the previously reported reference genome(cv. Williams82) uncovered more than 250,000 structure variations. A total of 52,051 protein coding genes and 36,429 transposable elements were annotated for this genome, and a gene co-expression network including 39,967 genes was also established. | 8 | Influences of water treatment agents on oil-water interfacial properties of oilfield produced water显示文摘The emulsion stability of oilfield produced water is related to the oil-water interfacial film strength and the zeta potential of the oil droplets. We investigated the effects of water treatment agents (corrosion inhibitor SL-2, scale inhibitor HEDP, germicide 1227, and flocculant polyaluminium chloride PAC) on the stability of oilfield produced water. The influence of these treatment agents on oil-water interfacial properties and the mechanism of these agents acting on the oilfield produced water were studied by measuring the interfacial shear viscosity, interfacial tension and zeta electric potential. The results indicated that the scale inhibitor HEDP could increase the oil-water interfacial film strength, and it could also increase the absolute value of the zeta potential of oil droplets. HEDP played an important role in the stability of the emulsion. Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) reduced the stability of the emulsion by considerably decreasing the absolute value of the zeta potential of oil droplets. The wastewater was deeply treated by a chemical coagulation-centrifugal separation-ozone catalytic oxidation combined process. The factors (i.e. pH value, chemical dosage, reaction time, etc.) influencing the treatment effect were investigated, and pH = 7 was determined as optimal for the coagulation; polymeric aluminum chloride (PAC) was selected as the optimal coagulant with a dosage of 18 g/L; cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) with molecular weight of 8 million was selected as the optimal coagulant aid with an optimum dosage of 8 mg/L; and the optimal condition of catalytic ozonation was found to be a pH of 12 and an oxidation time of 40 min. The results showed that the combined treatment process was effective. | 16 | Selective hydrogenation of acetylene on SiO_2-supported Ni-Ga alloy and intermetallic compound显示文摘Ni/Si O_2 and bimetallic Ni_xGa/SiO_2 catalysts with different Ni/Ga atomic ratios(x = 10~2) were investigated for the selective hydrogenation of acetylene.It was found that Ni_xGa/SiO_2 showed higher selectivity to ethylene than Ni/Si O_2.This is attributed to the formation Ni-Ga alloy and Ni3 Ga intermetallic compound(IMC) where there was a charge transfer from Ga to Ni,which is favorable for reducing the adsorption strength and amount of ethylene on Ni atoms.As a result,the over-hydrogenation,the C–C bond hydrogenolysis and the polymerization were suppressed,and subsequently the selectivity to ethylene was enhanced.With the decrease of Ni/Ga atomic ratio,the activity and stability of the Ni_xGa/SiO_2 catalysts increased first and then decreased,while the ethylene selectivity tended to increase.Ni_5 Ga/SiO_2 exhibited the best performance.Under the conditions of 180 °C,0.1 MPa,and a reactant(1.0 vol% acetylene,5.0 vol% H_2 and 94 vol% N_2) with the space velocity of 36,000 m L h^(-1) g^(-1),the acetylene conversion maintained at 100% on Ni_5 Ga/SiO_2 during 120 h time on stream and the selectivity to ethylene was 75%~81%after reaction for 68 h.It was also found that the formation of Ni-Ga alloy and Ni_3 Ga IMC suppressed the incorporation of carbon to form NiCx,subsequently enhancing the catalyst stability.Additionally,with increasing the Ga content,the catalyst acid amount and strength tended to increase,which promoted the polymerization and carbon deposition and so the catalyst deactivation. | Lei Wang Fengxu Li Yanjun Chen Jixiang Chen | 2019 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,2: | 6 |
| 17 | Viable but nonculturable bacteria and their resuscitation:implications for cultivating uncultured marine microorganisms显示文摘Culturing has been the cornerstone of microbiology since Robert Koch first successfully cultured bacteria in the late nineteenth century. However, even today, the majority of microorganisms in the marine environment remain uncultivated. There are various explanations for the inability to culture bacteria in the laboratory, including lack of essential nutrients, osmotic support or incubation conditions, low growth rate, development of micro-colonies, and the presence of senescent or viable but nonculturable (VBNC) cells. In the marine environment, many bacteria have been associated with dormancy, as typified by the VBNC state. VBNC refers to a state where bacteria are metabolically active, but are no longer culturable on routine growth media. It is apparently a unique survival strategy that has been adopted by many microorganisms in response to harsh environmental conditions and the bacterial cells in the VBNC state may regain culturability under favorable conditions. The resuscitation of VBNC cells may well be an important way to cultivate the otherwise uncultured microorganisms in marine environments. Many resuscitation stimuli that promote the restoration of culturability have so far been identified;these include sodium pyruvate, quorum sensing autoinducers, resuscitation-promoting factors Rpfs and YeaZ, and catalase. In this review, we focus on the issues associated with bacterial culturability, the diversity of bacteria entering the VBNC state, mechanisms of induction into the VBNC state, resuscitation factors of VBNC cells and implications of VBNC resuscitation stimuli for cultivating these otherwise uncultured microorganisms. They are also the crux of the most prominent problems of the Yellow River. To solve these problems, the regimes of flow and sediment load have to be improved by increasing water, reducing sediment load, and by using reservoirs to regulate flow and sediment load. The results of experiments for regulating the flow and sediment load in the last three years by the Xiaolangdi Reservoir have indicated that this measure is a realistic and effective way to mitigate the prominent problems in flood control of the Lower Yellow River at present and in the near future. | 20 | The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure.
