1Clinical Observation on Electroacupuncture for Post-stroke Flaccid Paralysis显示文摘Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture (EA) in treating post-stroke flaccid paralysis. Methods:Forty patients with post-stroke flaccid paralysis were randomized by the random number table into a treatment group and a control group, 20 cases in each. The treatment group was intervened by acupuncture at Jiquan (HT 1), Tianquan (PC 2), Ququan (LR 8), Yinlingquan (SP 9), and Yongquan (KI 1), and the control group was treated by acupuncture with conventional acupoint selection. Barthel index (BI) was adopted for evaluating the activities of daily living (ADL), and therapeutic efficacy was analyzed. Results:The two groups both had marked increases of BI score after treatment. Compared to the control group after 1 treatment course and 2 treatment courses respectively, the treatment group had significant differences in BI score (P<0.01). The total effective rate was 100.0% in the treatment group versus 90.0% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). Conclusion:EA at Jiquan (HT 1), Tianquan (PC 2), Ququan (LR 8), Yinlingquan (SP 9), Yongquan (KI 1) is an effective approach in treating post-stroke flaccid paralysis.Zhu Xian-min Hou Jing-yue Hong Jue 2013Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science2013,11,4:14

3Aligned Acupuncture at Muscle Regions plus Cutaneous Needle for Upper Limb Spasticity After Stroke: A Multicenter Randomized Controlled Trial显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of aligned acupuncture at the muscle regions plus cutaneous needle for post-stroke upper limb spasticity.Methods: By adopting a design of multicenter randomized controlled clinical trial, 488 patients with post-stroke upper limb spasticity were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 244 in each group. In addition to rehabilitation training, the treatment group received aligned acupuncture at the muscle regions plus cutaneous needle therapy and the control group received conventional Western medicine. After successive 3-week treatments, the clinical efficacy, spasticity degree of the upper limb, joint function, and neurological defect degree were evaluated in the two groups. Results: The total effective rate was 93.4% in the treatment group versus 61.5% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). The upper-limb spasticity degree, joint function, and neurological defect degree were improved significantly in both groups after intervention(P<0.05), and the improvements in the treatment group were more significant than those in the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). 5Ginger-indirect moxibustion plus acupuncture versus acupuncture alone for chronic fatigue syndrome:a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the efficacy and safety of gingerindirect moxibustion for chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS).METHODS:In this central randomized,controlled trial,290 CFS participants were recruited and randomly allocated to group A(ginger-indirect moxibustion plus acupuncture)or group B(acupuncture alone).The study consisted of a treatment period of 8 weeks with a total of 24 treatments(3 sessions per week,every other day),and a follow-up period of 12 weeks.The outcome was measured by Fatigue Severity Scale(FSS),Psychological Health Report(SPHERE),the Self-rating depression scale(SDS)and the Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)at baseline,2,4,6,8,12 and 20 weeks.RESULTS:With the treatment undergoing,the changes of FSS,SPHERE,SDS and HAMA scores in both groups increased gradually,and the effect maintained at the 12th week.Between groups,significantly higher score changes were seen in group A in FSS after 4 weeks treatment(11.94 vs 9.12,95%CI:0.94,4.7)and in SPHERE after 2 weeks treatment(3.7 vs 2.27,95%CI:0.56,2.31).But for SDS and HAMA,the improvement did not differ significantly between groups.No severe adverse events were reported.CONCLUSION:Ginger-indirect moxibustion is a safe and effective intervention to relieve fatigue and accompanying physical symptoms of CFS.MA Tingting WU Jie YANG Lijie FENG Fen YANG Huilin ZHANG Jinhua ZHONG Yanjin NING Qing HUANG Lirong LIN Youbing YAN Jue CHEN Guiquan HOU Tianshu WANG Li REN Yuanfang TAN Jing 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,2:2

7Ray tracing of turning wave in elliptically anisotropic media with an irregular surface显示文摘Seismic ray tracing in anisotropic media with irregular surface is crucial for the exploration of the fine crustal structure. Elliptically anisotropic medium is the type of anisotropic media with only four independent elastic parameters. Usually, this medium can be described by only the vertical phase velocity and the horizontal phase velocity for seismic wave propagation. Model parameterization in this study is described by flexible triangular grids,which is beneficial for the description of irregular surface with high degree of approximation. Both the vertical and horizontal phase velocities are defined in the triangular grids, respectively, which are used for the description of phase velocity distribution everywhere in the model by linear interpolation. We develop a shooting ray tracing method of turning wave in the elliptically anisotropic media with irregular surface. Runge-Kutta method is applied to solve the partial differential equation of seismic ray in elliptically anisotropic media. Linearly modified method is used for adjusting emergent phase angles in the shooting scheme. Numerical tests demonstrate that ray paths coincide well with analytical trajectories in transversely homogeneous elliptically anisotropic media. 9Notes on index of quantum integrability显示文摘A quantum integrability index was proposed in Komatsu et al(2019 SciPost Phys.7065).It systematizes the Goldschmidt and Witten's operator counting argument(Goldschmidt and Witten 1980 Phys.Lett.B 91392)by using the conformal symmetry.In this work we compute the quantum integrability indexes for the symmetric coset models SU(N)/SO(N)and SO(2N)/SO(N)×SO(N).The indexes of these theories are all non-positive except for the case of SO(4)/SO(2)×SO(2).Moreover we extend the analysis to the theories with fermions and consider a concrete theory:the CP~N model coupled with a massless Dirac fermion.We find that the indexes for this class of models are non-positive as well.Jia Tian Jue Hou Bin Chen 2021Communications in Theoretical Physics2021,73,5:0
10Preparation of dynamic polyurethane networks with UV-triggered photothermal self-healing properties based on hydrogen and ion bonds for antibacterial applications显示文摘Photo-induced self-healing composites have attracted more and more attention as a kind of materials that can be controlled remotely and accurately in real time.Here,we report a strategy of a photo-responsive system based on hydrogen and ion bonds capable of performing self-healing process by ultraviolet wave-lengths,which is covalently cross-linked zinc-dimethylglyoxime-polyurethane coordination network with triple dynamic bonds.The recombination of hydrogen bond and metal coordination bond produces ef-fective healing performance.The self-healing behavior and temperature dependence of 3D micro-crack is investigated by molecular dynamics simulations to reveal the mechanism of self-healing at molecu-lar level.Moreover,the hybrid of copper-doped zinc oxide not only provides metal coordination bonds to enhance the self-healing rate,but also enhances the photothermal effect and anti-bacterial properties of polyurethane.Importantly,doping of copper generates more defects and forms a space charge layer on the surface of zinc oxide.The defects could trap surface electrons and holes,preventing the recom-bination of photo-induced electron-hole pairs,generating more heat through lattice vibration.Therefore,under ultraviolet light irradiation,the polyurethane can reach 62.7°C for 60 s,and the scratches of the polyurethane can be healed within 30 min and fully healed within 1 h.Huimeng Feng Wei Wang Tong Wang Lei Zhang Wen Li Jue Hou Shougang Chen 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,2:0

13A metallogenic model for the supergiant gold system in Jiaodong province:Constraints from crustal velocity structure显示文摘We investigate the role of crustal architectures playing in controlling the genesis and nature of supergiant Jiaodong orogenic gold system via seismic imaging.We deployed an NWW-SEE-trending broadband seismic linear array traversing the province to construct a shear wave velocity(V_S)transect based on ambient noise tomography.Our crustal V_S transect reveals a prominent low velocity zone(LVZ)at 12–20 km depths across the whole province and high V_S anomalies at 8–12 km depths underneath the western part that hosts most of the ore tonnage.We interpret the former as a hydrothermal alteration zone related to mineralization and the latter as a crustal component containing large amounts of mafic rocks(e.g.,amphibolites).In addition,a listric fault system and a strike-slip fault system are imaged in the western and eastern parts of the province,respectively.Combining features of crustal velocities with regional geological observations that ores are tempo-spatially associated with mafic dikes,we propose a model of gold metallogenic processes.In this model,ponding and degassing of the mafic magmas led to the formation of a hydrothermal alteration LVZ in the middle crust prior to mineralization.Later,auriferous fluid was released from this intra-crustal hydrothermal alteration zone as it was heated by upwelling asthenosphere.The ore fluid ascending along the listric fault system possibly leached extra gold from the upper-crustal amphibolites.Then,the gold-rich fluid migrated up along different fault systems,leading to the disseminated-veinlet mineralization with great gold endowment in the western listric fault system and the quartz-vein type mineralization with relatively small ore tonnage in the eastern strike-slip fault system.Jue HOU Tao XU Yinshuang AI Guiping YU Yingjie YANG Bo XU Qingfei WANG 2023Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,12:0
14Joint tomographic inversion of first-arrival and reflection traveltimes for recovering 2-D seismic velocity structure with an irregular free surface显示文摘Irregular surface flattening,which is based on a boundary conforming grid and the transformation between curvilinear and Cartesian coordinate systems,is a mathematical method that can elegantly handle irregular surfaces,but has been limited to obtaining first arrivals only.By combining a multistage scheme with the fast-sweeping method(FSM,the method to obtain first-arrival traveltime in curvilinear coordinates),the reflected waves from a crustal interface can be traced in a topographic model,in which the reflected wavefront is obtained by reinitializing traveltimes in the interface for upwind branches.A local triangulation is applied to make a connection between velocity and interface nodes.Then a joint inversion of first-arrival and reflection traveltimes for imaging seismic velocity structures in complex terrains is presented.Numerical examples all perform well with different seismic velocity models.The increasing topographic complexity and even use of a high curvature reflector in these models demonstrate the reliability,accuracy and robustness of the new working scheme;checkerboard testing illustrates the method's high resolution.Noise tolerance testing indicates the method's ability to yield practical traveltime tomography.Further development of the multistage scheme will allow other later arrivals to be traced and used in the traveltime inversion.XinYan Zhang ZhiMing Bai Tao Xu Rui Gao QiuSheng Li Jue Hou José Badal 2018Earth and Planetary Physics2018,2,3:0
15Combined effects of earthworms and biochar on PAHs-contaminated soil remediation:A review显示文摘Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)in soil pose a threat to the health of humans and other organisms due to their persistence.The remediation method of combined application of biochar and earthworms has received growing attention owing to its effectiveness in PAHs removal.However,the earthworm-biochar interaction and its influence on PAHs in soil has not been systematically reviewed.This review focuses on the effectiveness of combined application of earthworms and biochar in the remediation of PAHs-contaminated soils and the underlying mechanisms,including adsorption,bioaccumulation,and biodegradation.Earthworm-biochar interaction activates the functional microorganisms in soil and the PAHs-degrading microorganisms in earthworm guts,promoting PAHs biodegradation.This review provides a theoretical support for the combined application of biochar and earthworms in the remediation of PAHs-contaminated soils,points out the limitations of this remediation method,and finally shows the prospects for future research.Shuyu Hou Jue Wang Jun Dai Mohammed Boussafir Chi Zhang 2023Soil Ecology Letters2023,5,2:0
16The deep background of large-scale,Mesozoic Cu-Au-W metallogenesis in northeastern South China:Constraints from Yingshan-Changshan wide-angle seismic reflection/refraction data显示文摘To investigate the geodynamic processes of Mesozoic large-scale mineralization in South China,we deployed a 350-km-long,wide-angle seismic reflection/refraction sounding profile between Yingshan in Hubei and Changshan in Zhejiang.This profile traverses the Cu-Au metallogenic belt in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River(YMB),the Jiangnan W-polymetal metallogenic belt(JNMB),and the Qinhang Cu-polymetal metallogenic belt(QHMB).Our imaging results reveal various interesting velocity features along the profile.(1)The velocity structure is characterized by vertical layering and horizontal blocking;(2)the YMB is marked by high velocity and high V_(p)/V_(s) ratios in general with a significantly uplifted Moho interface and a thin crust of~31 km,and the lower crust contains high-velocity anomalies and has the characteristics of a crustmantle transition zone;(3)the JNMB is bounded by the Jiangnan fault and Jingdezhen-Huangshan fault and has low-velocity anomalies and low V_(p)/V_(s) ratios;and(4)the QHMB is characterized by high-velocity anomalies and high V_(p)/V_(s) ratios.The highvelocity anomalies in the YMB and QHMB represent relatively Cu-Au-rich mafic juvenile lower crust.The formation of this kind of crust is considered to be related to mantle-derived magma underplating or residues of Neoproterozoic oceanic crustal materials,and it also provided sources for large-scale Cu-Au mineralization in the Mesozoic.The JNMB has features similar to those of ancient crusts enriched in W-Sn,the partial melting of which played a leading role in the formation of the superlarge W deposits in this belt.Considering these results and other regional geological data,we propose that a large-scale oblique upwelling of the asthenosphere along the collisional belt of the Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks during the Mesozoic was the deep driving mechanism for the explosive mineralization of Cu,Au,and W in northeastern South China.The boundaries of the blocks or terrains and discontinuities of the lithosphere were the main channels for deep heat and magmas and therefore controlled the spatial distribution of the metallogenic belt.Jue HOU Tao XU Qingtian LV Zhiming BAI Yongqian ZHANG Zhiyu ZHANG Dan YANG 2022Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,11:0
