| 1 | Massively parallel electro-optic sampling of space-encoded optical pulses for ultrafast multi-dimensional imaging显示文摘High-speed and high-resolution imaging of surface profiles is critical for the investigation of various structures and mechanical dynamics of micro-and nano-scale devices. In particular, recent emergence of various nonlinear, transient and complex mechanical dynamics, such as anharmonic vibrations in mechanical resonators, has necessitated real-time surface deformation imaging with higher axial and lateral resolutions, speed, and dynamic range.However,real-time capturing of fast and complex mechanical dynamics has been challenging, and direct time-domain imaging of displacements and mechanical motions has been a missing element in studying full-field structural and dynamic behaviours. Here,by exploiting the electro-optic sampling with a frequency comb,we demonstrate a line-scan time-of-flight(TOF)camera that can simultaneously measure the TOF changes of more than 1000 spatial coordinates with hundreds megapixels/s pixel-rate and sub-nanometre axial resolution over several millimetres field-of-view.This unique combination of performances enables fast and precise imaging of both complex structures and dynamics in three-dimensional devices and mechanical resonators. | Yongjin Na Hyunsoo Kwak Changmin Ahn Seung Eon Lee Woojin Lee Chu-Shik Kang Jungchul Lee Junho Suh Hongki Yoo Jungwon Kim | 2023 | Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,2: | 1 |
| 2 | Advanced operation of heated fluidic resonators via mechanical and thermal loss reduction in vacuum显示文摘For simultaneous and quantitative thermophysical measurements of ultrasmall liquid volumes,we have recently developed and reported heated fluidic resonators(HFRs).In this paper,we improve the precision of HFRs in a vacuum by significantly reducing the thermal loss around the sensing element.A vacuum chamber with optical, electrical, and microfluidic access is custom-built to decrease the convection loss by two orders of magnitude under 10-4 mbar conditions. As a result, the measurement sensitivities for thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity are increased by 4.1 and 1.6 times, respectively. When differentiating between deionized water(H2O)and heavy water(D2O)with similar thermophysical properties and~10%different mass densities, the signal-to-noise ratio(property differences over standard error)for H2O and D2O is increased by 9 and 5 times for thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity, respectively. | Juhee Ko Bong Jae Lee Jungchul Lee | 2023 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,5: | 0 |
| 3 | High-throughput compositional mapping of triple-cation tin-lead perovskites for high-efficiency solar cells显示文摘Mixed tin-ead perovskites suffer from structural instability and rapid tin oxidation;thus, the investigation of their optimal composition ranges is important to address these inherent weaknesses. The critical role of triple cations in mixed Sn–Pb iodides is studied by performing a wide range of compositional screenings over mechanochemically synthesized bulk and solution-processed thin films.A ternary phase map of FA(Sn_(0.6)Pb_(0.4))I_(3),MA(Sn_(0.6)Pb_(0.4))I_(3),and Cs(Sn_(0.6)Pb_(0.4))I_(3)is formed, and a promising composition window of(FA_(0.6-x)MA_(0.4)Cs_(x))Sn_(0.6)Pb_(0.4)I_(3)(0≤x≤0.1)is demonstrated through phase, photoluminescence, and stability evaluations.Solar cell performance and chemical stability across the targeted compositional space are investigated, and FA_(0.55)MA_(0.4)Cs_(0.05)Sn_(0.6)Pb_(0.4)I_(3)with strain-relaxed lattices, reduced defect densities, and improved oxidation stability is demonstrated. The inverted perovskite solar cells with the optimal composition demonstrate a power conversion efficiency of over 22%with an open-circuit voltage of 0.867 V,which corresponds to voltage loss of 0.363 V,promising for the development of narrow-bandgap perovskite solar cells. | Rajendra Kumar Gunasekaran Jina Jung Sung Woong Yang Jungchul Yun Yeonghun Yun Devthade Vidyasagar Won Chang Choi Chang-Lyoul Lee Jun Hong Noh Dong Hoe Kim Sangwook Lee | 2023 | InfoMat2023,5,4: | 0 |
| 4 | Spontaneous resolution of gallbladder hematoma in blunt traumatic injury:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND We report a case of intragallbladder hematoma and biliary tract obstruction caused by blunt gallbladder injury. We report that the patient was safely treated by conservative treatment after the obstruction was resolved by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP).CASE SUMMARY A 67-year-old man was admitted via the emergency department due to complaints of right-sided abdominal pain that started 2 d prior.Four days prior to presentation, the patient had slipped, fallen and struck his abdomen on a motorcycle handle. His initial vital signs were stable. On physical examination,he showed right upper quadrant pain and Murphy’s sign, with decreased bowel sounds.Additionally,he had had a poor appetite for 4 d.He had been on aspirin for 2 years due to underlying hypertension.Initial simple radiography revealed a slight ileus. The laboratory findings were as follows:white blood cell count,15.5×103/µL(normal range 4.8×10^(3)–10.8×10^(3));hemoglobin,9.4 g/dL;aspartate aminotransferase/alanine transferase,423/348 U/L;total bilirubin/direct bilirubin,4.45/3.26 mg/dL;-GTP,639 U/L(normal range 5–61 U/L);and C-reactive protein,12.32 mg/dL(0–0.3).Abdominal computed tomography showed a distended gallbladder with edematous wall change and a 55 mm×40 mm hematoma.Dilatation was observed in both the intrahepatic and common bile duct areas.Antibiotic treatment was initiated, and ERCP was performed, with hemobilia found during treatment. After cannulation, the patient’s symptoms were relieved, and after conservative management, the patient was discharged with no further complications. After 1-month follow-up,the gallbladder hematoma was completely resolved.CONCLUSION In the case of traumatic injury to the gallbladder, conservative treatment is feasible even in the presence of hematoma. | Hyunseok Jang Chang-Hwan Park Yunchul Park Euisung Jeong Naa Lee Jungchul Kim Younggoun Jo | 2021 | World Journal of Clinical Cases2021,9,28: | 0 |
