2Development of EST-SSR primers and their practicability test for Laminaria显示文摘Laminaria (Saccharina) is one of the economic important seaweeds.Through sequence analysis of 4 099 ESTs from Laminaria (971 were generated from our own cDNA laboratories and 3 128 were downloaded from updated EST databases) with SSRIT software,two hundred and fifty-four SSRs in 206 ESTs were found.From the 254 SSRs,sixty-three SSR primer-pairs were designed. In order to test their practicability, the 63 primer-pairs were tested in commonly used SSR reaction conditions using 12 Laminara DNA samples as templates. The results show that 23 SSR primer-pairs gave good amplification patterns on most (more than 80%) of the 12 Laminara DNA templates. 3Learning-Based Joint Resource Slicing and Scheduling in Space-Terrestrial Integrated Vehicular Networks显示文摘In this paper,we investigate the resource slicing and scheduling problem in the space-terrestrial integrated vehicular networks to support both delay-sensitive services(DSSs)and delay-tolerant services(DTSs).Resource slicing and scheduling are to allocate spectrum resources to different slices and determine user association and bandwidth allocation for individual vehicles.To accommodate the dynamic network conditions,we first formulate a joint resource slicing and scheduling(JRSS)problem to minimize the long-term system cost,including the DSS requirement violation cost,DTS delay cost,and slice reconfiguration cost.Since resource slicing and scheduling decisions are interdependent with different timescales,we decompose the JRSS problem into a large-timescale resource slicing subproblem and a small-timescale resource scheduling subproblem.We propose a two-layered reinforcement learning(RL)-based JRSS scheme to find the solutions to the subproblems.In the resource slicing layer,spectrum resources are pre-allocated to different slices via a proximal policy optimization-based RL algorithm.In the resource scheduling layer,spectrum resources in each slice are scheduled to individual vehicles based on dynamic network conditions and service requirements via matching-based algorithms.We conduct extensive trace-driven experiments to demonstrate that the proposed scheme can effectively reduce the system cost while satisfying service quality requirements.Huaqing Wu Jiayin Chen Conghao Zhou Junling Li Xuemin(Sherman)Shen 2021Journal of Communications and Information Networks2021,6,3:3
4Hierarchical mesoporous S,N-codoped carbon nanostructures composed of Co/Co-Cu-S/carbon nanoplate arrays on carbon nanofibers as a self-supported air cathode for long-lasting rechargeable Zn-air batteries显示文摘One of the primary roadblocks to widespread applications of rechargeable Zn-air batteries is the durability issue with oxygen reduction and evolution processes(ORR/OER)bifunctional electrocatalysts.We herein report the construction of a selfsupported air cathode for Zn-air batteries made of S,N-codoped porous complex carbon nanostructures of Co/Co-Cu-S/carbon nanoplate arrays and carbon nanofibers(denoted as Co/Co-Cu-S@SNPCP-CFs).The hierarchical heteroatom-doped mesoporous carbon nanohybrids with multiple active species not only provide a high surface-to-volume ratio,exposing more catalytic sites and accelerating the charge and mass transfer,but also boost the activity and durability.The Co/Co-Cu-S@SNPCP-CFs catalyst reveals a small potential gap(ΔE=0.67 V)between the half-wave potential of ORR and OER potential at 10 m A ccm^(-2),demonstrating outstanding bifunctional performance.Furthermore,the rechargeable Zn-air battery made with the as-obtained electrocatalyst exhibits a high-power density of 220 m W cm^(-2)and a long cycling time of over 800 h at 10 m A ccm^(-2),and the flexible solid-state rechargeable Zn-air battery based on Co/Co-Cu-S@SNPCP-CFs self-supporting air cathode also displays a long duration time of over 60 h.XU ZhuYing YAN Lei SHEN JunLing YANG XiaoJing NING JiQiang ZHONG YiJun HU Yong 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,3:2

7Contrasting patterns of accumulation,partitioning,and remobilization of biomass and phosphorus in a maize cultivar显示文摘Maize growth,organ development,and yield formation are highly controlled by the manner in which the plant captures,partition,and remobilizes biomass and phosphorus(P).Better understanding of biomass and P accumulation,partition,and remobilization processes will improve modeling of crop resource use.However,there is still a lack of detailed data to parameterize the modeling of these processes,particula rly for modern maize cultivars.A two-year(2016 and 2017)field experiment with three P fertilization treatments(0(P0),75(P75),and 300(P300)kg P_(2)O_(5)ha^(-1))was conducted on a Fluvo-aquic soil(Quzhou,Hebei province,China)to collect data and quantify key processes for a representative modern maize cultivar(Zhengdan 958)widely grown in China.The proportions of biomass and P partitioned into various maize organs were unaffected by P application rate.Zhengdan 958 showed a much lower leaf-senescence rate than older cultivars,resulting in post-silking leaf photosynthesis being sufficient to meet grain biomass demand.In contrast,50%-85%of leaf P and 15%-50%of stem P accumulated pre-silking were remobilized into grain,in spite of the large proportion of post-silking P uptake.Our results are consistent with the theory that plants use resources according to the priority order of re-allocation from senescence followed by assimilation and uptake,with the re-translocation of reserves last.The results also enabled us to estimate the threshold P concentrations of Zhengdan 958 for modeling crop P demand.The critical leaf P concentration for individual leaves was 0.25%-0.30%,with a corresponding specific leaf P(SLP)of 75-100 mg P m^(-2).The structural P concentration for leaf was 0.01%,corresponding to an SLP of 3.8 mg P m^(-2).The maximum P concentrations of leaves and stems were 0.33%and 0.29%.The residual P concentration for stems was 0.006%.Weina Zhang Haigang Li Junling Zhang Jianbo Shen Hamish Brown Enli Wang 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,1:1

14Prenatal diagnosis of spinocerebellar ataxia type 3/Machado-Joseph disease in China's Mainland A case report显示文摘Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3/Machado-Joseph disease (SCA3/MJD) is a progressive, currently untreatable and ultimately fatal ataxic disorder that belongs to the group of neurological disorders known as CAG-repeat or polyglutamine diseases. Here, we present the first prenatal diagnosis of SCA3/MJD in China's Mainland in a woman who was known to carry an expanded CAG-trinucleotide repeat in the MJD1 gene. After evaluating motivation and psychological tolerance of the couple, amniocentesis was performed after 14 weeks of gestation. Polymerase chain reactions followed by T-vector cloning and direct sequencing were employed to evaluate the CAG-repeat number of the fetal MJD1 gene. This paper introduces the power supply, load demand, power grid construction and the present situation of multinational interregional interconnection in the Iberian Peninsula of the Tour of Mediterranean in Europe(Portugal and Spain) and the Western Maghreb countries(Morocco and Algeria). And the driving force and influence factors of regional power grid interconnection are also analyzed. According to the MEDGRID project aimed at realizing the Mediterranean power grid interconnection, this paper presents the interconnection schemes of the Iberian Peninsula and the Western Maghreb. 18Deep learning autofluorescence-harmonic microscopy显示文摘Laser scanning microscopy has inherent tradeoffs between imaging speed,field of view(FOV),and spatial resolution due to the limitations of sophisticated mechanical and optical setups,and deep learning networks have emerged to overcome these limitations without changing the system.Here,we demonstrate deep learning autofluorescence-harmonic microscopy(DLAM)based on self-alignment attention-guided residual-in-residual dense generative adversarial networks to close the gap between speed,FOV;and quality.Using the framework,we demonstrate label-free large-field multimodal imaging of clinicopathological tissues with enhanced spatial resolution and running time advantages.Statistical quality assessments show that the attention-guided residual dense conneaions minimize the persistent noise,distortions,and scanning fringes that degrade the autofluorescence-harmonic images and avoid reconstruction artifaas in the output images.With the advantages of high contrast,high fidelity,and high speed in image reconstruction,DLAM can act as a powerful tool for the noninvasive evaluation of diseases,neural activity,and embryogenesis.Binglin Shen Shaowen Liu Yanping Li Ying Pan Yuan Lu Rui Hu Junle Qu Liwei Liu 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,4:0
19Expression,localization,and a regulated target gene(ccnd1)of miR-202-5p in the Japanese flounder gonads显示文摘MiR-202-5p is identified as the maker microRNA(miRNA)of germplasm in fish.However,the role of miR-202-5p in gonadal development is still unclear.Here we investigated the expression patterns of miR-202-5p in Japanese flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus).Real-time PCR displayed that miR-202-5p was specifically expressed in bisexual gonads,and its transcription in the testis was relatively abundant than that in the ovary.Moreover,it was gradually increased in testis from stage II to stage IV.Fluorescent in situ hybridization(FISH)illustrated that miR-202-5p was co-localized with vasa(a marker gene of germ cells)in testis,and it was predominately expressed in spermatogonia and spermatocytes,implying that miR-202-5p might participate in spermatogenesis.Considering the important role of retinoic acid(RA)on regulating meiosis during spermatogenesis,we treated Japanese flounders by injecting all-trans retinoic acid(ATRA).MiR-202-5p in testis was shown to be up-regulated,and ccnd1,a key cell cycle regulator,was found to be down-regulated after ATRA treatment.Furthermore,ccnd1 was demonstrated to be a direct regulatory target of miR-202-5p using Dual-luciferase assay.In the primary testis cell from Japanese flounder,we further confirmed that ccnd1 was down-regulated by miR-202-5p.The results suggest that miR-202-5p exerts a crucial role in gonadal development by inhibiting ccnd1 in Japanese flounder.Fengfeng Shen Qinghe Chao Zhenxi Cai Haoran Zhang Jikui Wu Junling Zhang 2023Aquaculture and Fisheries2023,8,3:0
20Rare TBK1 variants in patients with frontotemporal dementia and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in a Chinese cohort显示文摘Background:The TANK-Binding Kinase 1(TBK1)gene has recently been identified as the third or fourth most frequent cause of frontotemporal dementia(FTD)and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS).The aim of this study was to assess the genetic contribution of TBK1 in a Chinese cohort.Methods:A total of 270 cases with ALS,FTD,or their combination were recruited into this study.All the coding exons of TBK1 and intron-exon boundaries were sequenced using Sanger sequencing.The frequency of TBK1 variants and the correlation with clinical phenotypes were analyzed.Results:A novel mutation(c.1959_1960insGT,p.E653fs)was identified in a sporadic case with semantic dementia,secondarily developing ALS.Another novel variant(c.2063_2064delTT,p.L688Rfs*14)was found in an ALS-FTD family.Totally,the TBK1 variants could only account for 0.7% of cases.Conclusions:This study enlarges the genetic and phenotypic spectrum of TBK1 mutation in a Chinese cohort.Our data indicates that TBK1 mutation is not a common cause for ALS and FTD in Chinese patients.Bin Jiao Qiying Sun Zhenhua Yuan Junling Wang Lin Zhou Xinxiang Yan Beisha Tang Lu Shen 2018Translational Neurodegeneration2018,7,1:0
