1Temperature-induced Lifshitz transition in topological insulator candidate HfTe_5显示文摘The ongoing discoveries and studies of novel topological quantum materials have become an emergent and important field of condensed matter physics.Recently,HfTe_5 ignited renewed interest as a candidate of a novel topological material.The single-layer HfTe_5 is predicted to be a two-dimensional large band gap topological insulator and can be stacked into a bulk that may host a temperature-driven topological phase transition.Historically,HfTe_5 attracted considerable interest for its anomalous transport properties characterized by a peculiar resistivity peak accompanied by a sign reversal carrier type.The origin of the transport anomaly remains under a hot debate.Here we report the first high-resolution laser-based angle-resolved photoemission measurements on the temperature-dependent electronic structure in HfTe_5.Our results indicated that a temperature-induced Lifshitz transition occurs in HfTe_5,which provides a natural understanding on the origin of the transport anomaly in HfTe_5.In addition,our observations suggest that HfTe_5 is a weak topological insulator that is located at the phase boundary between weak and strong topological insulators at very low temperature.Yan Zhang Chenlu Wang Guodong Liu Aiji Liang Lingxiao Zhao Jianwei Huang Qiang Gao Bing Shen Jing Liu Cheng Hu Wenjuan Zhao Genfu Chen Xiaowen Jia Li Yu Lin Zhao Shaolong He Fengfeng Zhang Shenjin Zhang Feng Yang Zhimin Wang Qinjun Peng Zuyan Xu Chuangtian Chen Xingjiang Zhou 2017Science Bulletin2017,62,13:4
2Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) emissions from electric arc furnaces for steelmaking显示文摘The proportion of steel produced using electric arc furnaces(EAFs)is increasing.In this study,polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs)concentrations and patterns in stack gas samples from three typical EAFs in steelmaking plants were determined to allow the contributions of EAFs in steelmaking plants to PCDD/Fs emissions in China to be assessed.Samples collection was accomplished by adopting the automatic isokinetic sampling technique,then the PCDD/Fs congeners concentrations were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by isotope dilution high-resolution gas chromatography high-resolution mass spectrometry(HRGC-HRMS).The mean PCDD/Fs mass concentrations in stack gases emitted during the scrap preheating phase of plants E1,E2,and E3 were 0.48,385.55,and 0.34 ng Nm^-3,respectively,and the total toxic equivalent(WHO2005-TEQ)concentrations were 0.05,33.16,and 0.03 ng Nm^-3,respectively.The PCDD/Fs mass concentration in stack gases emitted during the melting phase at plant E3 was 0.12 ng Nm^-3(0.02 ng WHO2005-TEQ Nm^-3).The operational temperature of the bag filter of the preheating in the E2 EAF was as high as 230℃,which is conducive to the generation of PCDD/Fs,whether the temperature in the bag filter of E1(150℃)and E3(120℃)are not.Moreover,the bag filter temperature is suggested to be best controlled to below 150℃.The emission factors(EF)for PCDD/Fs released into the air during the scrap preheating phase for plants E1,E2,and E3 were 0.13,52,and 0.10 mg WHO2005-TEQ t1,respectively,and the EF for the smelting phase from plant E3 was 0.14 mg WHO2005-TEQ t1.The emission factor in E2 is 5 times higher than the highest current UNEP toolkit factor for EAFs(10 mg TEQ/tonne steel).Therefore,an update for the UNEP toolkit emission factor for a few case plants is suggested.Several congeners,including 2,3,7,8-TeCDF,1,2,3,4,6,7,8-HpCDF,and 1,2,3,4,6,7,8-HpCDD,were dominant during the preheating phase,while 2,3,7,8-TeCDF,1,2,3,7,8-PeCDF,and 2,3,4,7,8-PeCDF were dominant during the smelting phase.The monitoring data from the case plants helps to better understand the PCDD/Fs emissions of EAFs using preheating process stages.However,a more complete emission inventory requires more case investigations on the PCDD/Fs emissions from representative EAFs steelmaking plants.Qiuting Yang Lili Yang Jia Shen Yuanping Yang Minxiang Wang Xiaoyun Liu Xuejing Shen Changliang Li Jia Xu Fengfeng Li Da Li Guorui Liu Minghui Zheng 2020Emerging Contaminants2020,6,1:3
3Sol-gel preparation and phosphorescence property of Mn^(2+)-doped zinc boro-silicate glass thin films显示文摘Mn2+-doped zinc borosilicate (ZBSM) glass thin films were first synthesized by sol-gel method. In the experiment, a thin gel film was depos-ited onto quartz glass substrates by dip-coating method and then heat-treated to form a Mn2+-doped zinc borosilicate glass thin film. Long lasting phosphorescence (LLP) and photo-stimulated long lasting phosphorescence (PSLLP) were found in the film sample. According to fluorescence spectra, LLP emission spectra, and PSLLP emission spectra, both LLP and PSLLP emissions are attributed to the energy level transition of 4Eg→4A1g from Mn2+. Both the phosphorescence intensity decay curves contain a fast decay component and another slow decay one. The thermoluminescence (TL) spectra show that the sample has two kinds of traps at least and their energy level values are about 0.8 eV and 1.02 eV, which could be estimated by the Randall and Willcins formula. The infrared absorption spectra (IR) consist of characteristic vi-bration bands of Si-O-Si, Si-O-Zn, B-O in [BO3], B-O group, and Zn-O in [ZnO4]. 6N-doped nanocarbon embedded in hierarchically porous metal-organic frameworks for highly efficient CO_(2) fixation显示文摘The rational integration of multi-functional components with metal–organic frameworks(MOFs) to form MOF-based catalysts can often afford enhanced catalytic activity for specific reactions. Herein, we propose a novel strategy for the synthesis of hierarchically porous MOFs(e.g., MIL-101)-encapsulated N-doped nanocarbon(CN@MIL) by controlled pyrolysis of ionic liquids@MIL-101 precursors(ILs@MIL). The obtained CN@MIL composites not only possess abundant enlarged mesopores,but also show multi-active sites without the sacrifice of their structure stability. The CN@MIL can efficiently facilitate the mass transfer of substrates, exhibiting excellent catalytic performance in the synthesis of cyclic carbonates from epoxides and CO_(2) under mild and co-catalyst-free conditions(i.e., 90 ℃ and ambient pressure of CO_(2)). Furthermore, the multi-active Lewis acid sites and nucleophilic sites(Br ions) as well as the strong affinity of catalysts toward CO_(2)also contribute to the excellent catalytic activity of the CN@MIL. 9Expression,localization,and a regulated target gene(ccnd1)of miR-202-5p in the Japanese flounder gonads显示文摘MiR-202-5p is identified as the maker microRNA(miRNA)of germplasm in fish.However,the role of miR-202-5p in gonadal development is still unclear.Here we investigated the expression patterns of miR-202-5p in Japanese flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus).Real-time PCR displayed that miR-202-5p was specifically expressed in bisexual gonads,and its transcription in the testis was relatively abundant than that in the ovary.Moreover,it was gradually increased in testis from stage II to stage IV.Fluorescent in situ hybridization(FISH)illustrated that miR-202-5p was co-localized with vasa(a marker gene of germ cells)in testis,and it was predominately expressed in spermatogonia and spermatocytes,implying that miR-202-5p might participate in spermatogenesis.Considering the important role of retinoic acid(RA)on regulating meiosis during spermatogenesis,we treated Japanese flounders by injecting all-trans retinoic acid(ATRA).MiR-202-5p in testis was shown to be up-regulated,and ccnd1,a key cell cycle regulator,was found to be down-regulated after ATRA treatment.Furthermore,ccnd1 was demonstrated to be a direct regulatory target of miR-202-5p using Dual-luciferase assay.In the primary testis cell from Japanese flounder,we further confirmed that ccnd1 was down-regulated by miR-202-5p.The results suggest that miR-202-5p exerts a crucial role in gonadal development by inhibiting ccnd1 in Japanese flounder.Fengfeng Shen Qinghe Chao Zhenxi Cai Haoran Zhang Jikui Wu Junling Zhang 2023Aquaculture and Fisheries2023,8,3:0
10Enhanced afterglow performance of CaAl_(2)O_(4):Eu^(2+),Nd^(3+) phosphors by co-doping Gd^(3+)显示文摘In order to effectively improve the afterglow properties of CaAl_(2)O_(4):Eu^(2+),Nd^(3+) phosphors,a series of Ca_(0.982-x)Al_(2)O_(4):0.012 Eu^(2+),0.006 Nd^(3+),xGd^(3+)(x=0,0.012,0.024,0.036,0.048,0.060 mol) phosphors were prepared by a high-temperature solid-phase approach.Crystalline composition and microstructure were characterized by XRD,TEM,HRTEM,and XPS,luminescence properties were systematically analyzed by fluorescence spectra,afterglow decay curves and TL glow curve.Results show that all of Ca_(0.982-x)Al_(2)O_(4):0.012 Eu^(2+),0.006 Nd^(3+),xGd^(3+)phosphors belong to monoclinic CaAl_(2)O_(4),without other cystalline phase.The blue emission at 442 nm is observed,which is assigned to the 4f^(6)5 d→4f^(7) transition of Eu^(2+) ions.Doping with appropriate amount of Gd^(3+) ions(x=0.036 mol) significantly improves the afterglow properties of phosphors,but the excessive doping of Gd^(3+) induces the fluorescent quenching.The doping of moderate Gd^(3+) changes the traps states,the trap depth varies from 0.598 to 0.644 eV and the trap concentration is also greatly improved,thus significantly improving afterglow performance.Mingxi Zhang Fengfeng Li Yongcheng Lin Yan Li Yi Shen 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,8:0
