1Characteristics and formation mechanism of regional haze episodes in the Pearl River Delta of China显示文摘To investigate the characteristics and the specific mechanism of continuous haze,comprehensive measurements were conducted from 15 October to 19 November in the Atmospheric Environment Monitoring Super-Station in Heshan of Guangdong province.Five haze episodes occurred in October and November 2014 in the Pearl River Delta(PRD)region. The meteorological parameters, gas data, chemical compositions, and optical parameters of the aerosols were obtained. Among these events, the second haze episode,with the highest concentration of PM2.5 of 187.51 μg/m^3, was the most severe. NO^3-was always higher than SO_4^(2-), which indicated that motor vehicles played an important role in the haze, even though the oxidation rate from SO_2 to SO_4^(2-)was faster than that of NOXto NO_3^-. The difference between the hourly averages of Na+and K+during the haze episode and clean days was small, implying that straw combustion and sea salt had no significant effect on the occurrence of haze, and the backward trajectories of the air masses also conformed with this result. The air pollutants were difficult to disperse because of the significant decrease in the planetary boundary layer(PBL) height. 3Learning-Based Joint Resource Slicing and Scheduling in Space-Terrestrial Integrated Vehicular Networks显示文摘In this paper,we investigate the resource slicing and scheduling problem in the space-terrestrial integrated vehicular networks to support both delay-sensitive services(DSSs)and delay-tolerant services(DTSs).Resource slicing and scheduling are to allocate spectrum resources to different slices and determine user association and bandwidth allocation for individual vehicles.To accommodate the dynamic network conditions,we first formulate a joint resource slicing and scheduling(JRSS)problem to minimize the long-term system cost,including the DSS requirement violation cost,DTS delay cost,and slice reconfiguration cost.Since resource slicing and scheduling decisions are interdependent with different timescales,we decompose the JRSS problem into a large-timescale resource slicing subproblem and a small-timescale resource scheduling subproblem.We propose a two-layered reinforcement learning(RL)-based JRSS scheme to find the solutions to the subproblems.In the resource slicing layer,spectrum resources are pre-allocated to different slices via a proximal policy optimization-based RL algorithm.In the resource scheduling layer,spectrum resources in each slice are scheduled to individual vehicles based on dynamic network conditions and service requirements via matching-based algorithms.We conduct extensive trace-driven experiments to demonstrate that the proposed scheme can effectively reduce the system cost while satisfying service quality requirements.Huaqing Wu Jiayin Chen Conghao Zhou Junling Li Xuemin(Sherman)Shen 2021Journal of Communications and Information Networks2021,6,3:3
4Designing of multifunctional and flame retardant separator towards safer high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Owing to unprecedented merits such as high theoretical capacity,superior energy density and low cost,lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)show a bright future both in scientific and industrial areas.Whereas,the inherent issues,including highly insulating character,undesired shuttle behavior and lithium dendrites growth,are seriously impeding its practical usage.Here,a metal-organic-frameworks(MOFs)derived N,S co-doped carbon nanotube hollow architecture confining with CoS_(2) nanoparticles(CoS_(2)/NSCNHF)modified separator is designed to surmount these obstacles.Compared with Celgard separator,this designed separator shows obviously enhanced flame retardancy,giving 73.1%and 53.0%reductions in peak heat release rate and total heat release,separately.Concretely,its hollow structure,conductive feature,electrocatalytic activity and Lewis acid-base interaction enable the efficient inhibition on shuttle behavior as well as boost in polysulfides conversion kinetics.The cell with modified separator delivers a high discharge capacity of 1,284.5 mAh·g^(−1).After running for 100 cycles,a discharge capacity of 661.3 mAh·g^(−1) is remained.Markedly,the suppression on lithium dendrites growth is also observed,manifesting the enhanced battery safety.Overall,this work may shed light on the effective usage of MOFs-derived hierarchical composite in achieving LSBs with high electrochemical performance as well as safety.Junling Wang Wei Cai Xiaowei Mu Longfei Han Na Wu Can Liao Yongchun Kan Yuan Hu 2021Nano Research2021,14,12:3
5Effect of rare earth La_2O_3 on the microstructure and mechanical properties of TiC/W composites显示文摘In this study, La2O3 was investigated as an additive to TiC/W composites. The composites were prepared by vacuum hot pressing, and the microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites were investigated. Experimental results show that the grain size of the TiC/W composites is reduced by TiC particles. When 0.5 wt.% La2O3 is added to the composites, the grain size is reduced further. According to TEM analysis, La2O3 can alleviate the aggregation of TiC particles. With La2O3 addition, the relative density of the TiC/W composites can be improved from 95.1% to 96.5%. The hardness and elastic modulus of the TiC/W + 0.5 wt.% La2O3 composite are little improved, but the flexural strength and the fracture toughness increase to 796 MPa and 10.07 MPa·m1/2 respectively, which are higher than those of the TiC/W composites.CHEN Yong WU Yucheng YU Fuwen CHEN Junling 2008Rare Metals2008,27,6:2
6Identification and characterization of the cellular subclones that contribute to the pathogenesis of mantle cell lymphoma显示文摘Mantle cell lymphoma(MCL)is a B-cell malignancy with poor clinical outcome and undefined pathogenesis.Development of clinically relevant cellular models for MCL research is an urgent need.Our preliminary observations lead the development of two novel hypotheses that we tested in this study:1.multicellular spheroid might be a unique growth mode of earlystage cells in MCL;2.MCL might be a polyclonal tumor.We made the following original observations that have not been reported:First,we have provided a new experiment method for enriching MCL early-stage cells and characterized the spheroid mode of growth as a unique feature of early-stage MCL cells in cell line as well as in clinical samples.Second,we have established a clinically relevant cellular model of MCL,the JeKo-1-spheroid cell line,that was highly enriched in early-stage sub-clones.JeKo-1-spheroid cells and the spheroid growing cells enriched from MCL patients exhibited comparably enhanced tumorigenic abilities and similar biological features.Third,Immunophenotypic analysis has revealed that MCL may be derived from precursor-B(pre-B),immature-B and mature-B cells,not only the mature-B cells as WHO classified in 2016.Fourth,MCL may be a polyclonal disease composed of CD19e/IgMe,CD19 e/IgMt,CD19t/IgMt three sub-clones,of which the CD19e/IgMt sub-clone might be the dominant sub-clone with the strongest tumorigenic ability.Fifth,CD19t/IgMe that differentiates MCL and normal B cells may represent a new marker for MCL early detection,minor residual disease monitoring after therapies and prognosis.Junling Tang Li Zhang Tiejun Zhou Zhiwei Sun Liangsheng Kong Li Jing Hongyun Xing Hongyan Wu Yongli Liu Shixia Zhou Jingyuan Li Mei Chen Fang Xu Jirui Tang Tao Ma Min Hu Dan Liu Jing Guo Xiaofeng Zhu Yan Chen Ting Ye Jianyu Wang Xiaoming Li H.Rosie Xing 2019Genes & Diseases2019,6,4:2

8Pomegranate-inspired porous SnSe/ZnSe@C anode:A stress-buffer nanostructure for fast and ultrastable sodium-ion storage显示文摘Tin selenide(SnSe)is considered as a potential anode for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)owing to its high theoretical specific capacity.Unfortunately,it suffers from drastic volume expansion/contraction during sodium ions insertion/extraction,resulting in poor cycling stability.Herein,a pomegranate-inspired porous carbon shell wrapped heterogeneous SnSe/ZnSe composite(SnSe/ZnSe@C)is exquisitely designed and fabricated through electrostatic spraying followed by high-temperature selenization.The polyacrylonitrile-derived carbon shell acts as an adhesive to link the porous cubic SnSe/ZnSe and form highly interconnected microcircuits to improve the electron/ion transfer efficiency and inhibit the bulk volume change of internal metallic selenide nanoparticles and polyselenides dissolution during repeated cycling.Moreover,the abundant heterostructure interface of SnSe/ZnSe further significantly accelerates the electrons/ions transport.As a result,the as-prepared SnSe/ZnSe@C electrode exhibits a high specific capacity(508.3 m Ah g^(-1)at 0.05 A g^(-1)),excellent rate performance(177.8 m Ah g^(-1)at 10.0 A g^(-1)),and remarkable cycling stability(195.9 m Ah g^(-1)after 10,000 cycles at 5.0 A g^(-1)).Furthermore,in-situ Xray diffraction(XRD)/Raman,ex-situ transmission electron microscopy,and kinetic analysis clearly reveal a four-step electrochemical reaction process and battery-capacitor dual-mode sodium storage mechanism.This work provides a new perspective for developing commercial SIBs anode materials with high capacity and long lifespan.Zhixin Liang Qinghua Li Wang Zhang Dandan Yu Wei Zhang Jiawei Wu Gaoyu Wang Wenbo Fan Junling Wang Shaoming Huang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12:2

11A large-scale outdoor atmospheric simulation smog chamber for studying atmospheric photochemical processes:Characterization and preliminary application显示文摘Understanding the formation mechanisms of secondary air pollution is very important for the formulation of air pollution control countermeasures in China.Thus,a large-scale outdoor atmospheric simulation smog chamber was constructed at Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences(the CRAES Chamber),which was designed for simulating the atmospheric photochemical processes under the conditions close to the real atmospheric environment.The chamber consisted of a 56-m^(3) fluorinated ethylene propylene(FEP) Teflon film reactor,an electrically-driven stainless steel alloy shield,an auxiliary system,and multiple detection instrumentations.By performing a series of characterization experiments,we obtained basic parameters of the CRAES chamber,such as the mixing ability,the background reactivity,and the wall loss rates of gaseous compounds(propene,NO,NO_(2),ozone) and aerosols(ammonium sulfate).Oxidation experiments were also performed to study the formation of ozone and secondary organic aerosol(SOA),including α-pinene ozonolysis,propene and 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene photooxidation.Temperature and seed effects on the vapor wall loss and SOA yields were obtained in this work:higher temperature and the presence of seed could reduce the vapor wall loss;SOA yield was found to depend inversely on temperature,and the presence of seed could increase SOA yield.The seed was suggested to be used in the chamber to reduce the interaction between the gas phase and chamber walls.The results above showed that the CRAES chamber was reliable and could meet the demands for investigating tropospheric chemistry.Junling Li Hong Li Xuezhong Wang Weigang Wang Maofa Ge Hao Zhang Xin Zhang Kun Li Yan Chen Zhenhai Wu Fahe Chai Fan Meng Yujing Mu Abdelwahid Mellouki Fang Bi Yujie Zhang Lingyan Wu Yongchun Liu 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4:2

17Paclitaxel liposome for injection (Lipusu) plus cisplatin versus gemcitabine plus cisplatin in the first-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic lung squamous cell carcinoma: A multicenter, randomized, open-label, parallel controlled clinical study显示文摘Background:Lipusu is the first commercialized liposomal formulation of pacli-taxel and has demonstrated promising efficacy against locally advanced lung squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC)in a small-scale study.Here,we conducted a multicenter,randomized,phase 3 study to compare the efficacy and safety of cis-platin plus Lipusu(LP)versus cisplatin plus gemcitabine(GP)as first-line treat-ment in locally advanced or metastatic LSCC.Methods:Patients enrolled were aged between 18 to 75 years,had locally advanced(clinical stage IIIB,ineligible for concurrent chemoradiation or surgery)or metastatic(Stage IV)LSCC,had no previous systemic chemother-apy and at least one measurable lesion as per the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(version 1.1)before administration of the trial drug.The primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS).The secondary endpoints included objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),overall survival(OS),and safety profiles.To explore the possible predictive value of plasma cytokines for LP treatment,plasma samples were collected from the LP group at baseline and first efficacy evaluation time and were then subjected to analysis by 45-Plex ProcartaPlex Panel 1 to detect the presence of 45 cytokines using the Luminex xMAP technology.The correlation between treatment outcomes and dynamic changes in the levels of cytokines were evaluated in preliminary analyses.Results:The median duration of follow-up was 15.4 months.237 patients in the LP group and 253 patients in the GP group were included in the per protocol set(PPS).In the PPS,the median PFS was 5.2 months versus 5.5 months in the LP and GP group(hazard rtio[HR]:1.03,P=0.742)respectively.The median OS was 14.6 months versus 12.5 months in the LP and GP group(HR:0.83,P=0.215).The ORR(41.8%versus 45.9%,P=0.412)and DCR(90.3%versus 88.1%,P=0.443)were also similar between the LP and GP group.A significantly lower proportion of patients in the LP group experienced adverse events(AEs)leading to treatment interruptions(10.9%versus 26.4%,P<0.001)or treatment termination(14.3%versus 23.1%,P=0.011).The analysis of cytokine levels in the LP group showed that low baseline levels of 27 cytokines were associated with an increased ORR,and 15 cytokines were associated with improved PFS,with 14 cytokines,including TNF-a,IFN-y,IL-6,and IL-8,demonstrating an overlapping trend.Conclusion:The LP regimen demonstrated similar PFS,OS,ORR and DCR as the GP regimen for patients with locally advanced or metastatic LSCC but had more favorable toxicity profiles.The study also identified a spectrum of different cytokines that could be potentially associated with the clinical benefit in patients who received the LP regimen.Jie Zhang Yueyin Pan Qin Shi Guojun Zhang Liyan Jiang Xiaorong Dong Kangsheng Gu Huijuan Wang Xiaochun Zhang Nong Yang Yuping Li Jianping Xiong Tienan Yi Min Peng Yong Song Yun Fan Jiuwei Cui Gongyan Chen Wei Tan Aimin Zang Qisen Guo Guangqiang Zhao Ziping Wang Jianxing He Wenxiu Yao Xiaohong Wu Kai Chen Xiaohua Hu Chunhong Hu Lu Yue Da Jiang Guangfa Wang Junfeng Liu Guohua Yu Junling Li Jianling Bai Wenmin Xie Weihong Zhao Lihong Wu Caicun Zhou 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,1:1
18CRISPR-powered optothermal nanotweezers:Diverse bio-nanoparticle manipulation and single nucleotide identification显示文摘Optothermal nanotweezers have emerged as an innovative optical manipulation technique in the past decade,which revolutionized classical optical manipulation by efficiently capturing a broader range of nanoparticles.However,the optothermal temperature field was merely employed for in-situ manipulation of nanoparticles,its potential for identifying bio-nanoparticles remains largely untapped.Hence,based on the synergistic effect of optothermal manipulation and CRIPSR-based bio-detection,we developed CRISPR-powered optothermal nanotweezers(CRONT).Specifically,by harnessing diffusiophoresis and thermo-osmotic flows near the substrate upon optothermal excitation,we successfully trapped and enriched DNA functionalized gold nanoparticles,CRISPR-associated proteins,as well as DNA strands.Remarkably,we built an optothermal scheme for enhancing CRISPR-based single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)detection at single molecule level,while also introducing a novel CRISPR methodology for observing nucleotide cleavage.Therefore,this innovative approach has endowed optical tweezers with DNA identification ability in aqueous solution which was unattainable before.With its high specificity and feasibility for in-situ bio-nanoparticle manipulation and identification,CRONT will become a universal tool in point-of-care diagnosis,biophotonics,and bio-nanotechnology.Jiajie Chen Zhi Chen Changle Meng Jianxing Zhou Yuhang Peng Xiaoqi Dai Jingfeng Li Yili Zhong Xiaolin Chen Wu Yuan Ho-Pui Ho Bruce Zhi Gao Junle Qu Xueji Zhang Han Zhang Yonghong Shao 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,12:0
19The state-of-the-arts of the study on grid interconnection between Iberian Peninsula and West Maghreb region显示文摘With the change of energy structure in Europe and the trend of diversification of energy supply, the interconnection of the power grid in the Mediterranean region has gradually become a hotspot in European energy research. This paper introduces the power supply, load demand, power grid construction and the present situation of multinational interregional interconnection in the Iberian Peninsula of the Tour of Mediterranean in Europe(Portugal and Spain) and the Western Maghreb countries(Morocco and Algeria). And the driving force and influence factors of regional power grid interconnection are also analyzed. According to the MEDGRID project aimed at realizing the Mediterranean power grid interconnection, this paper presents the interconnection schemes of the Iberian Peninsula and the Western Maghreb. 20Models of steam-assisted gravity drainage(SAGD) steam chamber expanding velocity in double horizontal wells and its application显示文摘The development of steam chamber can be used to evaluate steam-assisted gravity drainage(SAGD) performance. The velocity of steam chamber expanding is the key parameter for evaluating the development of steam chamber. Based on SAGD technology theory and heat transfer theory, two calculation model methods, observation well temperature method and steam chamber edge method for estimating the horizontal expanding velocity of steam chamber, were presented. Through analyzing the monitoring data and numerical simulation results of a typical super heavy oil block developed by SAGD in Fengcheng oilfield in Xinjiang, NW China, the development patterns of steam chamber and temperature variation law in the observation well at different stages are determined. The observed temperature data was used to calculate steam chamber expanding velocity. The calculated chamber velocity at different time was applied to predict the temperature distribution of oil drainage zone at the edge of steam chamber and SAGD oil rate. The results indicate that temperature function of high temperature zone in the observation well temperature curve has a linear relationship with measuring depth.The characteristic section can be used to calculate key parameters such as the angle of the drainage interface, expanding edge and velocity of steam chamber.
