1The Global Landscape of SARS-CoV-2 Genomes, Variants, and Haplotypes in 2019nCoVR显示文摘On January 22,2020,China National Center for Bioinformation(CNCB)released the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Resource(2019nCoVR),an open-access information resource for the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).2019nCoVR features a comprehensive integration of sequence and clinical information for all publicly available SARS-CoV-2 isolates,which are manually curated with value-added annotations and quality evaluated by an automated in-house pipeline.Of particular note,2019nCoVR offers systematic analyses to generate a dynamic landscape of SARS-CoV-2 genomic variations at a global scale.It provides all identified variants and their detailed statistics for each virus isolate,and congregates the quality score,functional annotation,and population frequency for each variant.Spatiotemporal change for each variant can be visualized and historical viral haplotype network maps for the course of the outbreak are also generated based on all complete and high-quality genomes available.Moreover,2019nCoVR provides a full collection of SARS-CoV-2 relevant literature on the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),including published papers from PubMed as well as preprints from services such as bioRxiv and medRxiv through Europe PMC.Furthermore,by linking with relevant databases in CNCB,2019nCoVR offers data submission services for raw sequence reads and assembled genomes,and data sharing with NCBI.Collectively,SARS-CoV-2 is updated daily to collect the latest information on genome sequences,variants,haplotypes,and literature for a timely reflection,making 2019nCoVR a valuable resource for the global research community.2019nCoVR is accessible at http://gffzzdbc7b6aaae734bddsw9ufbqn69x6n6fv0.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/ncov/.Shuhui Song Lina Ma Dong Zou Dongmei Tian Cuiping Li Junwei Zhu Meili Chen Anke Wang Yingke Ma Mengwei Li Xufei Teng Ying Cui Guangya Duan Mochen Zhang Tong Jin Chengmin Shi Zhenglin Du Yadong Zhang Chuandong Liu Rujiao Li Jingyao Zeng Lili Hao Shuai Jiang Hua Chen Dali Han Jingfa Xiao Zhang Zhang Wenming Zhao Yongbiao Xue Yiming Bao 2020Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2020,18,6:4
2Cell viability and dopamine secretion of 6-hydroxydopamine-treated PC12 cells co-cultured with bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘In the present study, PC12 cells induced by 6-hydroxydopamine as a model of Parkinson's Disease, were used to investigate the protective effects of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells against 6-hydroxydopamine-induced neurotoxicity and to verify whether the mechanism of action relates to abnormal α-synuclein accumulation in cells. Results showed that co-culture with bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells enhanced PC12 cell viability and dopamine secretion in a cell dose-dependent manner. MitoLight staining was used to confirm that PC12 cells co-cultured with bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells demonstrate reduced levels of cell apoptosis. Immunocytochemistry and western blot analysis found the quantity of α-synuclein accumulation was significantly reduced in PC12 cell and bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cell co-cultures. 4Resistive switching and artificial synaptic performances of memristor based on low-dimensional bismuth halide perovskites显示文摘Zero-dimensional(0D)-Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9),two-dimensional(2D)-Cs_(3)Bi_(2)Br_(9),and one-dimensional(1D)-Cs3Bi2Cl9 perovskite films have been successfully grown on indium tin oxide(ITO)glass substrates,which were used to fabricate memristors with the structure of Al/Cs_(3)Bi_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,and Cl)/ITO glass.The current three types of memristors exhibited bipolar resistive switching behaviors.Both the endurance and retention time tests clearly demonstrated the excellent stability of present devices.Especially,the ON/OFF ratio of the 0D-Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)device is close to 104 at the reading voltage of 0.1 V,which is nearly 100 and 1000 times larger than those of the 1D-Cs3Bi2Cl9 device and the 2D-Cs_(3)Bi_(2)Br_(9)device,respectively.The activation energy of halide vacancies in the Cs_(3)Bi_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,and Cl)films was calculated using the density functional theory by considering a minimum migration path,demonstrating the dimensionality of the Cs_(3)Bi_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,and Cl)film affected the formation and rupture of conductive filaments.Moreover,the short-term plasticity and long-term plasticity of biological synapse were simulated by evaluating the conductance responses of Al/Cs_(3)Bi_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,and Cl)/ITO devices under various voltage pulses in detail.The duration time of long-term plasticity in all the present devices can last for up to 250 s.The 0D-Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)device showed both the highest spikeduration-dependent plasticity and paired-pulse facilitation indexes compared to the other two devices.Additionally,the 0DCs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)device successfully established the associative learning behavior by simulating the Pavlov’s dog experiment.Feifei Luo Yanzhao Wu Junwei Tong Fubo Tian Xianmin Zhang 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:1
5Densely nested top-down flows for salient object detection显示文摘With the goal of identifying pixel-wise salient object regions from each input image,salient object detection(SOD)has been receiving great attention in recent years.One kind of mainstream SOD method is formed by a bottom-up feature encoding procedure and a top-down information decoding procedure.While numerous approaches have explored the bottom-up feature extraction for this task,the design of top-down flows remains under-studied.To this end,this paper revisits the role of top-down modeling in salient object detection and designs a novel densely nested top-down flows(DNTDF)-based framework.In every stage of DNTDF,features from higher levels are read in via the progressive compression shortcut paths(PCSPs).The notable characteristics of our proposed method are as follows.(1)The propagation of high-level features which usually have relatively strong semantic information is enhanced in the decoding procedure.(2)With the help of PCSP,the gradient vanishing issues caused by non-linear operations in top-down information flows can be alleviated.(3)Thanks to the full exploration of high-level features,the decoding process of our method is relatively memory-efficient compared to those of existing methods.Integrating DNTDF with EfficientN et,we construct a highly light-weighted SOD model,with very low computational complexity.To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model,comprehensive experiments are conducted on six widely-used benchmark datasets.The comparisons to the most state-of-the-art methods as well as the carefully-designed baseline models verify our insights on the top-down flow modeling for SOD.Chaowei FANG Haibin TIAN Dingwen ZHANG Qiang ZHANG Jungong HAN Junwei HAN 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,8:1

12BoMyrosinase plays an essential role in sulforaphane accumulation in response to selenite treatment in broccoli显示文摘Sulforaphane, a naturally specialized metabolite, plays significant roles in human disease prevention and plant defense. Myrosinase(MY) is a key gene responsible for the catalysis of sulforaphane formation, but the molecular mechanisms through which MY regulates sulforaphane biosynthesis in plants remains largely unknown. Here, we discovered that the change of sulforaphane content in broccoli sprouts caused by exogenous selenite treatments is positively related to BoMY expression. BoMY overexpression in the Arabidopsis thaliana tgg1 mutants could dramatically increase myrosinase activity and sulforaphane content in the rosette leaves of 35S::BoMY/tgg1 and rescue its phenotypes.Moreover, an obvious increase of myrosinase activity and sulforaphane content was displayed in transgenic BoMY-overexpressed broccoli lines.In addition, a 2 033 bp promoter fragment of BoMY was isolated. Yeast one-hybrid(Y1H) library screening experiment uncovered that one bHLH transcription factor, BoFAMA, could directly bind to BoMY promoter to activate its expression, which was further evidenced by Y1H assay and dual-luciferase reporter assay. BoFAMA is a selenite-responsive transcription factor that is highly expressed in broccoli leaves;its protein is solely localized to nucleus. Additionally, genetic evidence suggested that the knockdown of FAMA gene in Arabidopsis thaliana could significantly decrease sulforaphane yield by inhibiting the expression of myrosinase genes. Interestingly, exogenous selenite supply could partially restore the low level of sulforaphane content in transgenic Arabidopsis FAMA-silencing plants. 14Electrically manipulating magnetization reversal via energy band engineering显示文摘Realization of a magnetization reversal by an external electric field is vital for developing ultra-low-power spintronic devices.In this report,starting from energy band engineering,a general design principle is proposed for achieving electrical manipulation of a nonvolatile 180°magnetization reversal.A half semiconductor(HSC)and a bipolar magnetic semiconductor(BMS)are selected as the model of magnetic layers,whose conduction-band minimum and valence-band maximum are in the same and opposite spin states,respectively.Based on the analysis of virtual hopping and tight-binding models,the interlayer coupling of HSC/insulator/BMS devices is successfully tuned between ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions by varying electric field directions.Moreover,the interlayer coupling nearly disappears after removing the electric field,proving the nonvolatile magnetization reversal.Using first-principles calculations,the feasibility of present design strategy is further confirmed by a representative device with the structure of CrBr3/h-BN/2H-VSe_(2).This design guideline and physical phenomena may open an avenue to explore magnetoelectric coupling mechanisms and develop next-generation spintronic devices.Junwei Tong Yanzhao Wu Feifei Luo Fubo Tian Xianmin Zhang 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,5:0

16High-efficiency resistive switch and artificial synaptic simulation in antimony-based perovskite devices显示文摘Three kinds of Cs_(3)Sb_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,Cl)perovskite films have been prepared to fabricate the resistive memory devices with the structure of Al/Cs_(3)Sb_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,Cl)/indium tin oxide(ITO)glass.All devices exhibited a bipolar resistive switching behavior at room temperature by applying scanning voltage of 0→1→0→-1.8→0 V.The switching voltages in the Al/Cs_(3)Sb_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,Cl)/ITO devices gradually decreased with the X from I,Br to Cl due to the different migration rates of halide vacancy in perovskite films,which is confirmed by the first-principles calculations of activation energy.The ON/OFF ratio under the reading voltage of 0.1 V significantly increased up to 100 in the Al/Cs_(3)Sb_(2)Cl_(9)/ITO device,which is nearly 10 and 3 times larger than that of the Al/Cs3Sb2I9/ITO device and the Al/Cs_(3)Sb_(2)Br_(9)/ITO device,respectively.The endurance cycles and retention time of current devices were evaluated,showing the excellent electrical stability.Importantly,the three kinds of Al/Cs_(3)Sb_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,Cl)/ITO device can successfully simulate the short-term plasticity of biological synapse.The Al/Cs_(3)Sb_(2)Cl_(9)/ITO device showed the highest paired-pulsed facilitation index compared with that of other two devices,which was explored for the longterm plasticity and learning experience processes of synapse.In addition,the Al/Cs_(3)Sb_(2)Cl_(9)/ITO device established associative learning behavior by simulating the Pavlov’s dog experiment.LUO FeiFei WU YanZhao TONG JunWei XU DaKe QIN GaoWu TIAN FuBo ZHANG XianMin 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,4:0

18Associative Tasks Computing Offloading Scheme in Internet of Medical Things with Deep Reinforcement Learning显示文摘The Internet of Medical Things(IoMT)is regarded as a critical technology for intelligent healthcare in the foreseeable 6G era.Nevertheless,due to the limited computing power capability of edge devices and task-related coupling relationships,IoMT faces unprecedented challenges.Considering the associative connections among tasks,this paper proposes a computing offloading policy for multiple-user devices(UDs)considering device-to-device(D2D)communication and a multi-access edge computing(MEC)technique under the scenario of IoMT.Specifically,to minimize the total delay and energy consumption concerning the requirement of IoMT,we first analyze and model the detailed local execution,MEC execution,D2D execution,and associated tasks offloading exchange model.Consequently,the associated tasks’offloading scheme of multi-UDs is formulated as a mixed-integer nonconvex optimization problem.Considering the advantages of deep reinforcement learning(DRL)in processing tasks related to coupling relationships,a Double DQN based associative tasks computing offloading(DDATO)algorithm is then proposed to obtain the optimal solution,which can make the best offloading decision under the condition that tasks of UDs are associative.Furthermore,to reduce Received:Aug.02,2023 Revised:Oct.06,2023 Editor:Wang Chaowei the complexity of the DDATO algorithm,the cacheaided procedure is intentionally introduced before the data training process.This avoids redundant offloading and computing procedures concerning tasks that previously have already been cached by other UDs.In addition,we use a dynamicε−greedy strategy in the action selection section of the algorithm,thus preventing the algorithm from falling into a locally optimal solution.Simulation results demonstrate that compared with other existing methods for associative task models concerning different structures in the IoMT network,the proposed algorithm can lower the total cost more effectively and efficiently while also providing a tradeoff between delay and energy consumption tolerance.Jiang Fan Qin Junwei Liu Lei Tian Hui 2024China Communications2024,21,4:0
