2Two-sided ultrasonic surface rolling process of aeroengine blades based on on-machine noncontact measurement显示文摘As crucial parts of an aeroengine,blades are vulnerable to damage from long-term operation in harsh environments.The ultrasonic surface rolling process(USRP)is a novel surface treatment technique that can highly improve the mechanical behavior of blades.During secondary machining,the nominal blade model cannot be used for secondary machining path generation due to the deviation between the actual and nominal blades.The clamping error of the blade also affects the precision of secondary machining.This study presents a two-sided USRP(TS-USRP)machining for aeroengine blades on the basis of on-machine noncontact measurement.First,a TS-USRP machining system for blade is developed.Second,a 3D scanning system is used to obtain the point cloud of the blade,and a series of point cloud processing steps is performed.A local point cloud automatic extraction algorithm is introduced to extract the point cloud of the strengthened region of the blade.Then,the tool path is designed on the basis of the extracted point cloud.Finally,an experiment is conducted on an actual blade,with results showing that the proposed method is effective and efficient.Shulei YAO Xian CAO Shuang LIU Congyang GONG Kaiming ZHANG Chengcheng ZHANG Xiancheng ZHANG 2020Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2020,15,2:1

4Targeting papain-like protease for broad-spectrum coronavirus inhibition显示文摘The emergence of SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern and repeated outbreaks of coronavirus epidemics in the past two decades emphasize the need for next-generation pan-coronaviral therapeutics.Drugging the multi-functional papain-like protease(PLpro)domain of the viral nsp3 holds promise.However,none of the known coronavirus PLpro inhibitors has been shown to be in vivo active.Herein,we screened a structurally diverse library of 50,080 compounds for potential coronavirus PLpro inhibitors and identified a noncovalent lead inhibitor F0213 that has broad-spectrum anti-coronaviral activity,including against the Sarbecoviruses(SARSCoV-1 and SARS-CoV-2),Merbecovirus(MERS-CoV),as well as the Alphacoronavirus(hCoV-229E and hCoVOC43).Importantly,F0213 confers protection in both SARS-CoV-2-infected hamsters and MERS-CoV-infected human DPP4-knockin mice.F0213 possesses a dual therapeutic functionality that suppresses coronavirus replication via blocking viral polyprotein cleavage,as well as promoting antiviral immunity by antagonizing the PLpro deubiquitinase activity.Despite the significant difference of substrate recognition,mode of inhibition studies suggest that F0213 is a competitive inhibitor against SARS2-PLpro via binding with the 157K amino acid residue,whereas an allosteric inhibitor of MERSPLpro interacting with its 271E position.Our proof-ofconcept findings demonstrated that PLpro is a valid target for the development of broad-spectrum anticoronavirus agents.The orally administered F0213 may serve as a promising lead compound for combating the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and future coronavirus outbreaks.Shuofeng Yuan Xiaopan Gao Kaiming Tang Jian-Piao Cai Menglong Hu Peng Luo Lei Wen Zi-Wei Ye Cuiting Luo Jessica Oi-Ling Tsang Chris Chun-Yiu Chan Yaoqiang Huang Jianli Cao Ronghui Liang Zhenzhi Qin Bo Qin Feifei Yin Hin Chu Dong-Yan Jin Ren Sun Jasper Fuk-Woo Chan Sheng Cui Kwok-Yung Yuen 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,12:0

6Approximate Optimal Filter Design for Vehicle System through Actor‑Critic Reinforcement Learning显示文摘Precise state and parameter estimations are essential for identification,analysis and control of vehicle engineering problems,especially under significant model and measurement uncertainties.The widely used filtering/estimation algorithms,such as Kalman series like Kalman filter,extended Kalman filter,unscented Kalman filter,and particle filter,generally aim to approach the true state/parameter distribution via iteratively updating the filter gain at each time step.However,the optimal-ity of these filters would be deteriorated by unrealistic initial condition or significant model error.Alternatively,this paper proposes to approximate the optimal filter gain by considering the effect factors within infinite time horizon,on the basis of estimation-control duality.The proposed approximate optimal filter(AOF)problem is designed and subsequently solved by actor-critic reinforcement learning(RL)method.The AOF design transforms the traditional optimal filtering problem with the minimum expected mean square error into an optimal control problem with the minimum accumulated estimation error,in which the estimation error is used as the surrogate system state and the infinite-horizon filter gain is the control input.The estimation-control duality is proved to hold when certain conditions about initial vehicle state distributions and policy structure are maintained.In order to evaluate of the effectiveness of AOF,a vehicle state estimation problem is then demonstrated and compared with the steady-state Kalman filter.The results showed that the obtained filter policy via RL with different discount factors can converge to theoretical optimal gain with an error within 5%,and the average estimation errors of vehicle slip angle and yaw rate are less than 1.5×10–4.Yuming Yin Shengbo Eben Li Kaiming Tang Wenhan Cao Wei Wu Hongbo Li 2022Automotive Innovation2022,5,4:0

8Metal–Oleate Complex?Derived Bimetallic Oxides Nanoparticles Encapsulated in 3D Graphene Networks as Anodes for Efficient Lithium Storage with Pseudocapacitance显示文摘In this manuscript, we have demonstrated the delicate design and synthesis of bimetallic oxides nanoparticles derived from metal–oleate complex embedded in 3D graphene networks(MnO/CoMn_2O_4  GN), as an anode material for lithium ion batteries. The novel synthesis of the MnO/CoMn_2O_4  GN consists of thermal decomposition of metal–oleate complex containing cobalt and manganese metals and oleate ligand, forming bimetallic oxides nanoparticles, followed by a selfassembly route with reduced graphene oxides. The MnO/CoMn_2O_4  GN composite, with a unique architecture of bimetallic oxides nanoparticles encapsulated in 3D graphene networks, rationally integrates several benefits including shortening the di usion path of Li^+ ions, improving electrical conductivity and mitigating volume variation during cycling. Studies show that the electrochemical reaction processes of MnO/Co Mn_2O_4  GN electrodes are dominated by the pseudocapacitive behavior, leading to fast Li^+ charge/discharge reactions. 9Numerical investigation on temperature–humidity field under mechanical ventilation in the construction period of hot-humid tunnel along the Sichuan–Tibet Railway显示文摘High temperature–humidity environment is one of the severe challenges in constructing Sichuan–Tibet railway tunnels.For enhancing construction efficiency and guaranteeing tunnel worker safety,addressing the high temperature–humidity environment has irreplaceable significance.This study innovatively investigated the distribution law and evolution process of the thermal–humidity coupling field dur-ing tunnel construction.Besides,the corresponding ventilation measures were proposed based on the evaluation heat index(HI).If the initial temperature of the surrounding rock is constant,the distance between the ventilation duct outlet and the tunnel working face should not be greater than 30 m.Otherwise,the cooling performance of ventilation will be significantly weakened;If this temperature ranges in 65–85℃,the recommended ventilation velocity is 10–25 m/s,and the ventilation distance should not exceed 20 m.The con-clusions in this study are beneficial to better understand the high temperature–humidity environment in tunnel construction and can be a guideline for practical engineering application.Kaiming Zhao Yanping Yuan Fujian Jiang Xiaoling Cao 2023Underground Space2023,,1:0
