4Performance research and optimization on the fan test system based on experiment显示文摘To investigate the fan performance of air conditioning system, two different configuration fan test systems are designed. All scale simulation of the two systems provide the basis for design and improvement of air conditioning system fans to improve the internal flow, increase air volume, and reduce the noise. The conclusion that disturbance on flow of nuzzle outlet is the main sources of measurement error about 5% can be proved by the comparative analysis of the results between computation and experiment. 8Visualization and Experiment of Tip Vortex Phenomenon in Cooling Fan using Digital Particle Image Velocimetry显示文摘The Digital Particle Image Velocimetry (DPIV) is an efficient method for measuring the internal flow field of a low-speed cooling fan. This paper studied the velocity field by means of PIV technology for a leading edge swept axial-flow fan without casing, and the tip vortex phenomenon was observed. Time-averaged velocity measurements were taken near the pressure surface, the suction surface and the tip of blade, etc. Moreover, the flow characteristics were visualized using numerical techniques. Experimental results showed that this tip vortex existed at the leading edge of the blade. The generating, developing and dissipating evolvement process of the tip vortex from the blade leading edge to downstream were discussed in detail. In addition, by comparing DPIV results and numerical results, a good agreement between them indicated a possibility to predict flow field using CFD tools. 12Numerical Analysis and PIV Measurements of Tip Vortex in an Axial Rotor with Skewed-Swept Blade at Its Leading Edge显示文摘Based on the characteristics of axial fans of outdoor units of centralized air-conditioners, using the finite-volume method, applying three-dimensional steady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations coupled with Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model equation, and adopting SIMPLE algorithm, numerical analysis is made and applied to analyze the internal flow field of axial rotors with skewed-swept blade at its leading edge. This numerical simulation mainly investigates the formation and development of the tip vortex. Based on the tip vortex characteristics that have been captured, the internal flow numerical results are compared with those obtained by the PIV experiments. This comparison indicates a good agreement between numerical results and PIV results, thus proving the validity of the numerical simulation. In addition, based on the internal flow analyses of the axial rotor with skewed-swept blade at its leading edge, different flow phenomena features are presented. 13An adaptive artificial viscosity for the displacement shallow water wave equation显示文摘The numerical oscillation problem is a difficulty for the simulation of rapidly varying shallow water surfaces which are often caused by the unsmooth uneven bottom,the moving wet-dry interface,and so on.In this paper,an adaptive artificial viscosity(AAV)is proposed and combined with the displacement shallow water wave equation(DSWWE)to establish an effective model which can accurately predict the evolution of multiple shocks effected by the uneven bottom and the wet-dry interface.The effectiveness of the proposed AAV is first illustrated by using the steady-state solution and the small perturbation analysis.Then,the action mechanism of the AAV on the shallow water waves with the uneven bottom is explained by using the Fourier theory.It is shown that the AVV can suppress the wave with the large wave number,and can also suppress the numerical oscillations for the rapidly varying bottom.Finally,four numerical examples are given,and the numerical results show that the DSWWE combined with the AAV can effectively simulate the shock waves,accurately capture the movements of wet-dry interfaces,and precisely preserve the mass.Keqi YE Yuelin ZHAO Feng WU Wanxie ZHONG 2022Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,2:0
14Conformation Changes of Enkephalin in Coordination with Pb^(2+) Investigated by Gas Phase Hydrogen/Deuterium Exchange Mass Spectrometry Combined with Theoretical Calculations显示文摘In this study, the effects of lead ions(Pb^(2+)) on the conformations of leucine encephalin(LE) and methionine encephalin(ME) in gas phase were studied using hydrogen/deuterium exchange mass spectrometry(HDX-MS) and quantum chemistry theoretical calculations at the molecular level. The HDX-MS result revealed that the complexes with the monovalent compounds [LE+Pb–H]+ and [ME+Pb–H]+had a 1:1 stoichiometric ratio, and different HDX reactivates were observed in a follow of [ME+H]+>[LE+H]+>[LE+Pb–H]+> [ME+Pb–H]+. Combining the collision-induced dissociation energies of the complexes and their HDX results, it was found that the more stable the complex, the harder it was for HDX. In addition, the favo-rable conformations of the complexes were obtained by theoretical calculations, revealing that the similar coordination type with diffe-rent bond lengths was obtained. Then, the proton affinity(PA) values of the optimized complexes were calculated to interpret the HDX observations, indicating that the higher the PA values, the more difficult it was for HDX. Overall, the experiments and theoretical calculations revealed that Pb^(2+) could induce conformational changes of LE and ME, and generate ME into a more rigid conformation than LE.
