1Prussian blue and collagen loaded chitosan nanofibers with NIR-controlled NO release and photothermal activities for wound healing显示文摘Nitric oxide(NO)has emerged as a potential wound therapeutic agent due to its pivotal role in the wound healing processes.Nevertheless,NO-based therapy for clinical applications is still restricted due to its gaseous state and short half-life.Here we exploited a wound dressing by incorporating sodium nitroprusside doped prussian blue nanoparticals and Type I collagen into the chitosan/poly(vinyl alcohol)nanofibers through the electrospinning method.This hybrid nanofibrous scaffold possess the excellent abilities of NIR controlled NO release,photothermal therapy,and imitation of extra-cellular matrix-like architecture.These synergistic effects could enhance their anti-bactericidal effects in vitro and furthermore accelerate wound healing in vivo when compared to control groups.Histological analysis demonstrated the scaffold could promote fibroblast growth and accelerate epithelialization.Moreover,no apparent histological toxicology and negligible damage to major organs were observed,which provided sufficient biosafety for in vivo application.These data indicate the fabricated hybrid nanofibrous scaffold could be used as an ideal candidate for accelerating wound healing and treating chronic wounds.Wenyu Wang Dejun Ding Kunpeng Zhou Man Zhang Weifen Zhang Fang Yan Ni Cheng 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,34:1

3Understanding the Correlations between Social Attention and Topic Trends of Scientific Publications显示文摘Purpose:We propose and apply a simplified nowcasting model to understand the correlations between social attention and topic trends of scientific publications.Design/methodology/approach:First,topics are generated from the obesity corpus by using the latent Dirichlet allocation(LDA) algorithm and time series of keyword search trends in Google Trends are obtained.We then establish the structural time series model using data from January 2004 to December 2012,and evaluate the model using data from January 2013.We employ a state-space model to separate different non-regression components in an observational time series(i.e.the tendency and the seasonality) and apply the 'spike and slab prior' and stepwise regression to analyze the correlations between the regression component and the social media attention.The two parts are combined using Markov-chain Monte Carlo sampling techniques to obtain our results.Findings:The results of our study show that(1) the number of publications on child obesity increases at a lower rate than that of diabetes publications;(2) the number of publication on a given topic may exhibit a relationship with the season or time of year;and(3) there exists a correlation between the number of publications on a given topic and its social media attention,i.e.the search frequency related to that topic as identified by Google Trends.We found that our model is also able to predict the number of publications related to a given topic.Research limitations:First,we study a correlation rather than causality between topics' trends and social media.As a result,the relationships might not be robust,so we cannotpredict the future in the long run.Second,we cannot identify the reasons or conditions that are driving obesity topics to present such tendencies and seasonal patterns,so we might need to do 'field' study in the future.Third,we need to improve the efficiency of our model by finding more efficient variable selection models,because the stepwise regression method is time consuming,especially for a large number of variables.Practical implications:This paper analyzes publication topic trends from three perspectives:tendency,seasonality,and correlation with social media attention,providing a new perspective for identifying and understanding topical themes in academic publications.Originality/value:To the best of our knowledge,we are the first to apply the state-space model to examine the relationships between healthcare-related publications and social media to investigate the relationships between a topic's evolvement and people's search behavior in social media.This paper thus provides a new viewpoint in the correlation analysis area,and demonstrates the value of considering social media attention in the analysis of publication topic trends.Xianlei Dong Jian Xu Ying Ding Chenwei Zhang Kunpeng Zhang Min Song 2016Journal of Data and Information Science2016,1,1:1

6Tensile Properties and Prediction Model of Recombinant Bamboo at Different Temperatures显示文摘The destruction of recombinant bamboo depends on many factors,and the complex ambient temperature is an important factor affecting its basic mechanical properties.To investigate the failure mechanism and stress–strain relationship of recombinant bamboo at different temperatures,eighteen tensile specimens of recombinant bamboo were tested.The results showed that with increasing ambient temperature,the typical failure modes of recombinant bamboo were flush fracture,toothed failure,and serrated failure.The ultimate tensile strength,ultimate strain and elastic modulus of recombinant bamboo decreased with increasing temperature,and the ultimate tensile stress decreased from 154.07 to 96.55 MPa,a decrease of 37.33%,and the ultimate strain decreased from 0.011 to 0.008,a decrease of 26.57%.Based on the Ramberg-Osgood model and the pseudo‒elastic design method,a predictive model was established for the tensile stress–strain relationship of recombinant bamboo considering the temperature level.The model can accurately evaluate the tensile stress–strain relationship of recombinant bamboo under different temperature conditions.Kunpeng Zhao Yang Wei Si Chen Kang Zhao Mingmin Ding 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,6:0
7Recombinant chimpanzee adenovirus vector vaccine expressing the spike protein provides effective and lasting protection against SARS-CoV-2 infection in mice显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 infection is a global public health threat.Vaccines are considered amongst the most important tools to control the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.As expected,deaths from SARS-CoV-2 infection have dropped dramatically with widespread vaccination.However,there are concerns over the duration of vaccine-induced protection,as well as their effectiveness against emerging variants of concern.Here,we constructed a recombinant chimpanzee adenovirus vectored vaccine expressing the full-length spike of SARS-CoV-2(Ad C68-S).Rapid and high levels of humoral and cellular immune responses were observed after immunization of C57BL/6J mice with one or two doses of Ad C68-S.Notably,neutralizing antibodies were observed up to at least six months after vaccination,without substantial decline.Single or double doses Ad C68-S immunization resulted in lower viral loads in lungs of mice against SARS-CoV-2 challenge both in the short term(21 days)and long-term(6 months).Histopathological examination of Ad C68-S immunized mice lungs showed mild histological abnormalities after SARS-CoV-2 infection.Taken together,this study demonstrates the efficacy and durability of the Ad C68-S vaccine and constitutes a promising candidate for clinical evaluation.Mingqing Lu Kunpeng Liu Yun Peng Zhe Ding Yingwen Li Alexander Tendu Xue Hu Ge Gao Weiwei Guo Hang Liu Juhong Rao Jiaxuan Zhao Miaoyu Chen Zhiming Yuan Gary Wong Chao Shan Yanfeng Yao Jiaming Lan 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,4:0
8Predefined-time distributed multiobjective optimization for network resource allocation显示文摘We consider the multiobjective optimization problem for the resource allocation of the multiagent network,where each agent contains multiple conflicting local objective functions.The goal is to find compromise solutions minimizing all local objective functions subject to resource constraints as much as possible,i.e.,the Pareto optimums.To this end,we first reformulate the multiobjective optimization problem into one single-objective distributed optimization problem by using the weighted L_(p)preference index,where the weighting factors of all local objective functions are obtained from the optimization procedure so that the optimizer of the latter is the desired Pareto optimum of the former.Next,we propose novel predefined-time algorithms to solve the reformulated problem by time-based generators.We show that the reformulated problem is solved within a predefined time if the local objective functions are strongly convex and smooth.Moreover,the settling time can be arbitrarily preset since it does not depend on the initial values and designed parameters.Finally,numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.Kunpeng ZHANG Lei XU Xinlei YI Zhengtao DING Karl HJOHANSSON Tianyou CHAI Tao YANG 2023Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,7:0
9A novel synthesis of Nb_(2)O_(5)@rGO nanocomposite as anode material for superior sodium storage显示文摘The development of novel anode materials,with superior rate capability,is of utmost significance for the successful realization of sodium-ion batteries(SIBs).Herein,we present a nanocomposite of Nb_(2)O_(5)and reduced graphene oxide(rGO)by using hydrothermal-assisted microemulsion route.The water-in-oil microemulsion formed nanoreactors,which restrained the particle size of Nb_(2)O_(5)and shortened the diffusion length of ions.Moreover,the rGO network prevented agglomeration of Nb_(2)O_(5)nanoparticles and improved electronic conductivity.Consequently,Nb_(2)O_(5)@rGO nanocomposite is employed as anode material in SIBs,delivering a capacity of 195 mAh/g after 200 charge/discharge cycles at 0.2 A/g.Moreover,owing to conductive rGO network,the Nb_(2)O_(5)@rGO electrode rende red a specific capacity of 76 mAh/g at high current density of 10 A/g and maintained 98 mAh/g after 1000 charge/discharge cycles at 2 A/g.The Nb_(2)O_(5)@rGO electrode material prepared by microemulsion method shows promising possibilities for application of SIBs.Yu Zhang Li Fang Wang Sun Bin Shi Xiaotao Chen Yujie Gu Kunpeng Ding Zhenhua Wang Kening Sun 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,3:0
10Experimental Study on the Creep Behavior of Recombinant Bamboo显示文摘The creep behavior of bamboo due to the complicated influences of environment and stress will lead to a sustained increase in deformation,which serious effects the service performance of structures.To investigate the creep behavior of recombinant bamboo,twenty-four recombinant bamboo specimens were tested under lasting compressive and tensile loads at different load levels.The typical failure modes of recombinant bamboo under a lasting load at a high load level were buckling failure and brittle fracturing due to creep compressive creep and tensile creep development,respectively.At a high load level,the creep deformation of recombinant bamboo initially develops unsteadily and increases rapidly until failure;at a low load level,creep deformation rapidly develops in the early stage and stabilizes in the middle and late stages.The load level has notable effects on the overall creep deformation and the proportion of creep deformation.The residual deformation of creep will generally increase and the recovery of creep will decrease with increasing load level.Based on the Burgers model,predictive models that can take the load levels into account were proposed to evaluate the compressive and tensile creep behaviors of recombinant bamboo.The proposed models can be used to accurately evaluate the strain-time behavior of recombinant bamboo.Yang Wei Kunpeng Zhao Chen Hang Si Chen Mingmin Ding 2020Journal of Renewable Materials2020,8,3:0
