1Micro-light-emitting diodes with quantum dots in display technology显示文摘Micro-light-emitting diodes(μ-LEDs)are regarded as the cornerstone of next-generation display technology to meet the personalised demands of advanced applications,such as mobile phones,wearable watches,virtual/augmented reality,micro-projectors and ultrahigh-definition TVs.However,as the LED chip size shrinks to below 20μm,conventional phosphor colour conversion cannot present sufficient luminance and yield to support highresolution displays due to the low absorption cross-section.The emergence of quantum dot(QD)materials is expected to fill this gap due to their remarkable photoluminescence,narrow bandwidth emission,colour tuneability,high quantum yield and nanoscale size,providing a powerful full-colour solution for μ-LED displays.Here,we comprehensively review the latest progress concerning the implementation of μ-LEDs and QDs in display technology,including μ-LED design and fabrication,large-scale μ-LED transfer and QD full-colour strategy.Outlooks on QD stability,patterning and deposition and challenges of μ-LED displays are also provided.Finally,we discuss the advanced applications of QD-based μ-LED displays,showing the bright future of this technology.Zhaojun Liu Chun-Ho Lin Byung-Ryool Hyun Chin-Wei Sher Zhijian Lv Bingqing Luo Fulong Jiang Tom Wu Chih-Hsiang Ho Hao-Chung Kuo Jr-Hau He 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:12
2Facile synthesis of bimodal macroporous g-C_3N_4/SnO_2 nanohybrids with enhanced photocatalytic activity显示文摘It is of vital importance to construct highly interconnected,macroporous photocatalyst to improve its efficiency and applicability in solar energy conversion and environment remediation.Graphitic-like C_3N_4(g-C_3N_4),as an analogy to two-dimensional(2D)graphene,is highly identified as a visible-lightresponsive polymeric semiconductor.Moreover,the feasibility of g-C_3N_4 in making porous structures has been well established.However,the preparation of macroporous g-C_3N_4 with abundant porous networks and exposure surface,still constitutes a difficulty.To solve it,we report a first facile preparation of bimodal macroporous g-C_3N_4 hybrids with abundant in-plane holes,which is simply enabled by in-situ modification through thermally treating the mixture of thiourea and SnCl_4(pore modifier)after rotary evaporation.For one hand,the formed in-plane macropores endow the g-C_3N_4 system with plentiful active sites and short,cross-plane diffusion channels that can greatly speed up mass transport and transfer.For another,the heterojunctions founded between g-C_3N_4 and SnO_2 consolidate the electron transfer reaction to greatly reduce the recombination probability.As a consequence,the resulted macroporous gC_3N_4/SnO_2 nanohybrid had a high specific surface area(SSA)of 44.3 m^2/g that was quite comparable to most nano/mesoporous g-C_3N_4 reported.The interconnected porous network also rendered a highly intensified light absorption by strengthening the light penetration.Together with the improved mass transport and electron transfer,the macroporous g-C_3N_4/SnO_2 hybrid exhibited about 2.4-fold increment in the photoactivity compared with pure g-C_3N_4.Additionally,the recyclability of such hybrid could be guaranteed after eight successive uses.Yingzhi Chen Wenhao Li Dongjian Jiang Kuo Men Zhen Li Ling Li Shizheng Sun Jingyuan Li Zheng-Hong Huang Lu-Ning Wang 2019Science Bulletin2019,64,1:7
3Phase transition and heterogeneous strengthening mechanism in CoCrFeNiMn high-entropy alloy fabricated by laser-engineered net shaping via annealing at intermediate-temperature显示文摘High-entropy alloys(HEAs)have attracted tremendous attention owing to their controllable mechanical properties,whereas additive manufacturing(AM)is an efficient and flexible processing route for novel materials design.However,a profound appraisal of the fundamental material physics behind the strengthening of AM-printed HEAs upon low/intermediate-temperature annealing is essential.In this work,Co CrFe Ni Mn HEAs have been prepared using laser-engineered net shaping(LENS)and subsequently annealed at different temperatures.The Co Cr Fe Ni Mn HEA annealed at intermediate-temperature(873 K)exhibits a strong strain hardening capability,resulting in ultimate strength of 725 MPa and plasticity of 22%.A ternary heterogeneous strengthening mechanism is proposed to explain this phenomenon,in which equiaxed grains,columnar grains,andσprecipitates play different roles during tensile deformation.The resultant excellent strength and ductility can be ascribed to the heterostructure-induced mismatch.The equiaxed grains provide adequate grain boundaries(GBs),which induce dislocation plugging-up and entanglement;the columnar grains induce the onset and arrest of the dislocations for plastic deformation;and theσprecipitates hinder the movement of slip dislocations.The results provide new insights into overcoming the strength-ductility trade-off of LENS-printed HEAs with complex geometries.Yunjian Bai Heng Jiang Kuo Yan Maohui Li Yanpeng Wei Kun Zhang Bingchen Wei 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,33:3
4Sesquiterpenoid and C14-polyacetylene glycosides from the rhizomes of Atractylodes lancea显示文摘Four new glycosides including a eudesmane-type sesquiterpenoid(1), a guaiane-type sesquiterpenoid(2), and two C_(14)-polyacetylenes(3, 4) were isolated from the rhizomes of Atractylodes lancea. Their structures were elucidated by means of spectroscopic and spectrometric analyses(UV, IR, 1D and 2D NMR, and HR-ESIMS). The absolute configurations of their aglycones were established based on the experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroism(ECD), whereas those of monosaccharide moieties were determined by the GC method after chiral derivatization. 5Biomedical polymers: synthesis, properties, and applications显示文摘Biomedical polymers have been extensively developed for promising applications in a lot of biomedical fields, such as therapeutic medicine delivery, disease detection and diagnosis, biosensing, regenerative medicine, and disease treatment. In this review, we summarize the most recent advances in the synthesis and application of biomedical polymers, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their property-function relationship for corresponding biomedical applications. In particular, a few burgeoning bioactive polymers, such as peptide/biomembrane/microorganism/cell-based biomedical polymers, are also introduced and highlighted as the emerging biomaterials for cancer precision therapy. Furthermore, the foreseeable challenges and outlook of the development of more efficient, healthier and safer biomedical polymers are discussed. 7Hybrid Dirac semimetal-based photodetector with efficient low-energy photon harvesting显示文摘Despite the considerable effort,fast and highly sensitive photodetection is not widely available at the low-photon-energy range(~meV)of the electromagnetic spectrum,owing to the challenging light funneling into small active areas with efficient conversion into an electrical signal.Here,we provide an alternative strategy by efficiently integrating and manipulating at the nanoscale the optoelectronic properties of topological Dirac semimetal PtSe_(2)and its van der Waals heterostructures.Explicitly,we realize strong plasmonic antenna coupling to semimetal states near the skin-depth regime(λ/10^(4)),featuring colossal photoresponse by in-plane symmetry breaking.The observed spontaneous and polarization-sensitive photocurrent are correlated to strong coupling with the nonequilibrium states in PtSe_(2)Dirac semimetal,yielding efficient light absorption in the photon range below 1.24 meV with responsivity exceeding∼0.2 A/W and noise-equivalent power(NEP)less than~38 pW/Hz^(0.5),as well as superb ambient stability.Present results pave the way to efficient engineering of a topological semimetal for high-speed and low-energy photon harvesting in areas such as biomedical imaging,remote sensing or security applications.Lin Wang Li Han Wanlong Guo Libo Zhang Chenyu Yao Zhiqingzi Chen Yulu Chen Cheng Guo Kaixuan Zhang Chia-Nung Kuo Chin Shan Lue Antonio Politano Huaizhong Xing Mengjie Jiang Xianbin Yu Xiaoshuang Chen Wei Lu 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,3:2
8Modeling of organic pollutant destruction in a stirred tank reactor by ozonation显示文摘Destruction of organic contaminants in water by ozonation is a gas liquid process which involves ozone mass transfer and fast irreversible chemical reactions. Ozonation reactor design and process optimizing require the modeling of the gas liquid interactions within the reactor. In this paper a theoretical model combining the fluid dynamic and reaction kinetic parameters is proposed for predicting the destruction rates of organic pollutants in a semi batch stirred tank reactor by ozonation.
