1Coordinated flight control of miniature fixed-wing UAV swarms: methods and experiments显示文摘In this paper,we present our recent advances in both theoretical methods and field experiments for the coordinated control of miniature fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)swarms.We propose a multi-layered group-based architecture,which is modularized,mission-oriented,and can implement large-scale swarms.To accomplish the desired coordinated formation flight,we present a novel distributed coordinated-control scheme comprising a consensus-based circling rendezvous,a coordinated path-following control for the leader UAVs,and a leader-follower coordinated control for the follower UAVs.The current framework embeds a formation pattern reconfiguration technique.Moreover,we discuss two security solutions(inter-UAV collision avoidance and obstacle avoidance)in the swarm flight problem.The effectiveness of the proposed coordinated control methods was demonstrated in field experiments by deploying up to 21 fixed-wing UAVs.Xiangke WANG Lincheng SHEN Zhihong LIU Shulong ZHAO Yirui CONG Zhongkui LI Shengde JIA Hao CHEN Yangguan YU Yuan CHANG Yajing WANG 2019Science China(Information Sciences)2019,62,11:21
2Reconstruction of hydrological changes based on tree-ring data of the Haba River, northwestern China显示文摘Reconstructing the hydrological change based on dendrohydrological data has important implications for understanding the dynamic distribution and evolution pattern of a given river. The widespread, long-living coniferous forests on the Altay Mountains provide a good example for carrying out the dendrohydrological studies. In this study, a regional composite tree-ring width chronology developed by Larix sibirica Ledeb. and Picea obovata Ledeb. was used to reconstruct a 301-year annual(from preceding July to succeeding June) streamflow for the Haba River, which originates in the southern Altay Mountains, Xinjiang, China. Results indicated that the reconstructed streamflow series and the observations were fitting well, and explained 47.5% of the variation in the observed streamflow of 1957–2008. Moreover, floods and droughts in 1949–2000 were precisely captured by the streamflow reconstruction. Based on the frequencies of the wettest/driest years and decades, we identified the 19 th century as the century with the largest occurrence of hydrological fluctuations for the last 300 years. After applying a 21-year moving average, we found five wet(1724–1758, 1780–1810, 1822–1853, 1931–1967, and 1986–2004) and four dry(1759–1779, 1811–1821, 1854–1930, and 1968–1985) periods in the streamflow reconstruction. Furthermore, four periods(1770–1796, 1816–1836, 1884–1949, and 1973–1997) identified by the streamflow series had an obvious increasing trend. The increasing trend of streamflow since the 1970s was the biggest in the last 300 years and coincided with the recent warming-wetting trend in northwestern China. A significant correlation between streamflow and precipitation in the Altay Mountains indicated that the streamflow reconstruction contained not only local, but also broad-scale, hydro-climatic signals. 3Plasma biomarker screening for liver fibrosis with the N-terminal isotope tagging strategy显示文摘A non-invasive diagnostic approach is crucial for the evaluation of severity of liver disease,treatment decisions,and assessing drug efficacy.This study evaluated plasma proteomic profiling via an N-terminal isotope tagging strategy coupled with liquid chromatography/Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry measurement to detect liver fibrosis staging.Pooled plasma from different liver fibrosis stages,which were assessed in advance by the current gold-standard of liver biopsy,was quantitatively analyzed.A total of 72 plasma proteins were found to be dysregulated during the fibrogenesis process,and this finding constituted a valuable candidate plasma biomarker bank for follow-up analysis.Validation results of fibronectin by Western blotting reconfirmed the mass-based data.Ingenuity Pathways Analysis showed four types of metabolic networks for the functional effect of liver fibrosis disease in chronic hepatitis B patients.Consequently,quantitative proteomics via the N-terminal acetyl isotope labeling technique provides an effective and useful tool for screening plasma candidate biomarkers for liver fibrosis.We quantitatively monitored the fibrogenesis process in CHB patients.We discovered many new valuable candidate biomarkers for the diagnosis of liver fibrosis and also partly identified the mechanism involved in liver fibrosis disease.These results provide a clearer understanding of liver fibrosis pathophysiology and will also hopefully lead to improvement of clinical diagnosis and treatment.LI ShuLong LIU Xin WEI Lai WANG HuiFen ZHANG JiYang WEI HanDong QIAN XiaoHong JIANG Ying HE FuChu 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,5:6

6Mg-doped ZnO radial spherical structures via chemical vapor deposition显示文摘Mg-doped ZnO radial spherical structures with nanorods grown on both sides of the spherical shell were successfully prepared via chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of Zn and Mg powders in the absence of a catalyst. The structures associated with different growth temperatures (700, 800, and 850°C) were monitored by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the result shows that the length of the nanorods increase progressively with the growth temperature increasing. X-ray diffraction (XRD) shows that the as-obtained samples can be indexed to high crystallinity with wurtzite structure. The growth of the nanostructures mainly depends on the formation of sphere-like Mg-doped Zn droplets before adding oxygen. 8Present Synthesizing Situation and Application Mechanism of Hercynite in Cement Kilns显示文摘The magnesia-hercynite bricks offer a new lining to rotary cement kiln. They are well adopted and widely used in the high temperature zone of cement kiln, and have obtained good performance at rigorous and severe working conditions. The synthesis of hercynite requires a suitable atmosphere with proper O2 partial pressures which makes sure FeO can stably exist at the synthesizing temperature. Current industrial production of hercynite mainly adopts fused method. The other method, sintering method, is not mature and needs further research. The magnesia-hercynite brick shows high hot toughness, high adhesion strength to kiln crust, and good corrosion resistance to alkali salt in cement kilns. 10Continuous synthesis of ultra-fine fiber for wearable mechanoluminescent textile显示文摘Continuous mechanoluminescence(ML)fibers and fiber-woven textiles have the potential to serve as new wearable devices for sensors,healthcare,human-computer interfacing,and Internet of Things.Considering the demands on wearability and adaptability for the ML textiles,it is essential to realize the continuous synthesis of fiber,while maintaining a desired small diameter.Here,we develop a novel adhere-coating method to fabricate ML composite fiber,consisting of a thin polyurethane(PU)core and ZnS:Cu/polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)shell,with the outer diameter of 120μm.By diluting PDMS to tune the thickness of liquid coating layer,droplets formation has been effectively prevented.The composite fiber exhibits a smooth surface structure and superior ML performances,including high brightness,excellent flexibility,and stability.In addition,a weft knitting textile fabricated by the continuous ML fiber can be easily delighted by manually stretching,and the ML fibers can emit visible signals upon human motion stimuli when woven into commercial cloth.Such continuous ultra-fine ML fibers are promising as wearable sensing devices for human motion detection and human-machine interactions.Shulong Chang Yuan Deng Na Li Lijun Wang Chong-Xin Shan Lin Dong 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:2

20Glutamine metabolic microenvironment drives M2 macrophage polarization tomediate trastuzumab resistance in HER2-positive gastric cancer显示文摘Background:Trastuzumab is a first-line targeted therapy for human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2)-positive gastric cancer.However,the inevitable occurrence of acquired trastuzumab resistance limits the drug benefit,and there is currently no effective reversal measure.Existing researches on the mechanism of trastuzumab resistance mainly focused on tumor cells themselves,while the understanding of the mechanisms of environment-mediated drug resistance is relatively lacking.This study aimed to further explore the mechanisms of trastuzumab resistance to identify strategies to promote survival in these patients.Methods:Trastuzumab-sensitive and trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive tumor tissues and cells were collected for transcriptome sequencing.Bioinformatics were used to analyze cell subtypes,metabolic pathways,and molecular signaling pathways.Changes in microenvironmental indicators(such as macrophage,angiogenesis,and metabolism)were verified by immunofluorescence(IF)and immunohistochemical(IHC)analyses.Finally,a multi-scale agent-based model(ABM)was constructed.The effects of combination treatment were further validated in nude mice to verify these effects predicted by the ABM.Results:Based on transcriptome sequencing,molecular biology,and in vivo experiments,we found that the level of glutamine metabolism in trastuzumabresistant HER2-positive cells was increased,and glutaminase 1(GLS1)was significantly overexpressed.Meanwhile,tumor-derived GLS1 microvesicles drove M2macrophage polarization.Furthermore,angiogenesis promoted trastuzumab resistance.IHC showed high glutamine metabolism,M2 macrophage polarization,and angiogenesis in trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive tumor tissues from patients and nudemice.Mechanistically,the cell division cycle 42(CDC42)promoted GLS1 expression in tumor cells by activating nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)p65 and drove GLS1microvesicle secretion through IQmotif-containing GTPase-activating protein 1(IQGAP1).Based on the ABM and in vivo experiments,we confirmed that the combination of anti-glutamine metabolism,anti-angiogenesis,and pro-M1 polarization therapy had the best effect in reversing trastuzumab resistance in HER2-positive gastric cancer.Conclusions:This study revealed that tumor cells secrete GLS1 microvesicles via CDC42 to promote glutamine metabolism,M2 macrophage polarization,and pro-angiogenic function of macrophages,leading to acquired trastuzumab resistance in HER2-positive gastric cancer.A combination of anti-glutamine metabolism,anti-angiogenesis,and pro-M1 polarization therapy may provide a new insight into reversing trastuzumab resistance.Xingbin Hu Zhenfeng Ma Beibei Xu Shulong Li Zhiqi Yao Bishan Liang Jiao Wang Wangjun Liao Li Lin Chunling Wang Siting Zheng Qijing Wu Qiong Huang Le Yu Fenghua Wang Min Shi 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,8:0
