1Assessing the health risk of heavy metals in vegetables to the general population in Beijing,China显示文摘A systematic survey of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn concentrations in vegetables from 416 samples (involving 100 varieties) in Beijing was carried out for assessing the potential health risk to local inhabitants. The results indicated that the metal concentrations in vegetables ranged from < 0.001 to 0.479 μg/g fresh weight (fw) (As), < 0.001 to 0.101 μg/g fw (Cd), < 0.001 to 1.04 μg/g fw (Cr), 0.024 to 8.25 μg/g fw (Cu), 0.001 to 1.689 μg/g fw (Ni), < 0.001 to 0.655 μg/g fw (Pb) and 0.01 to 25.6 μg/g fw (Zn), with average concentrations of 0.013, 0.010, 0.023, 0.51, 0.053, 0.046 and 2.55 μg/g fw, respectively. The results showed that the concentrations of As, Cr, Cu, Cd, Pb and Ni in vegetables from open-fields were all significantly higher than those grown in greenhouses. In addition, in local-produced vegetables, all HMs except Zn were significantly higher than those in provincial vegetables. The estimated daily intake (EDI) of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn from vegetables was 0.080, 0.062, 0.142, 3.14, 0.327, 0.283 and 15.7 μg/(kg body weight (bw)·d) for adults, respectively. Arsenic was the major risk contributor for inhabitants since the target hazard quotient based on the weighted average concentration (THQw) of arsenic amounted to 44.3% of the total THQ (TTHQ) value according to average vegetable consumption. 2Role of trichome of Pteris vittata L. in arsenic hyperaccu-mulation显示文摘Environmental scanning electron microscope (ESEM) fitted with an energy disper- sive X-ray microanalyzer (EDX) was used to investigate the surface micromorphology and arse- nic (As) micro-distribution in Chinese brake (Pteris vittata L.). It was found that amounts of trichome, which possessed multicellular structure with the average length of 160 μm and with an average diameter of 28 μm, existed in the frond of P. vittata, and the density of trichome on the pinnate axial surface was higher than that on the petiole. Visible X-ray peak of As was recorded in the epidermal cell and trichome. The relative weight of As in the pinnate trichome, which con- tained the highest concentration of As among all tissues of the plant, was 2.4 and 3.9 times as much as that in the epidermal and mesophyllous cells, respectively. The As concentrations in the basal and stalk cells of the same trichome were higher than that in its cap cell. This is the first time to report that the trichome of P. vittata plays an important role in arsenic hyperaccumulation. 4Considering time-lag effects can improve the accuracy of NPP simulation using a light use efficiency model显示文摘Most terrestrial models synchronously calculate net primary productivity(NPP)using the input climate variable,without the consideration of time-lag effects,which may increase the uncertainty of NPP simulation.Based on Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and climate data,we used the time lag cross-correlation method to investigate the time-lag effects of temperature,precipitation,and solar radiation in different seasons on NDVI values.Then,we selected the Carnegie-Ames-Stanford approach(CASA)model to estimate the NPP of China from 2002 to 2017.The results showed that the response of vegetation growth to climate factors had an obvious lag effect,with the longest time lag in solar radiation and the shortest time lag in temperature.The time lag of vegetation to the climate variable showed great tempo-spatial heterogeneities among vegetation types,climate types,and vegetation growth periods.Based on the validation using eddy covariance data,the results showed that the simulation accuracy of the CASA model considering the time-lag effects was effectively improved.By considering the time-lag effects,the average total amount of NPP modeled by CASA during 2001-2017 in China was 3.977 PgC a^(−1),which is 11.37%higher than that of the original model.This study highlights the importance of considering the time lag for the simulation of vegetation growth,and provides a useful tool for the improvement of the vegetation productivity model.LI Chuanhua LIU Yunfan ZHU Tongbin ZHOU Min DOU Tianbao LIU Lihui WU Xiaodong 2023Journal of Geographical Sciences2023,33,5:1
5Metal–organic framework derived hierarchical porous TiO_2 nanopills as a super stable anode for Na-ion batteries显示文摘Hierarchical porous TiO_2 nanopills were synthesized using a titanium metal-organic framework MIL-125(Ti) as precursor. The as-synthesized TiO_2 nanopills owned a large specific surface area of 102 m^2/g and unique porous structure. Furthermore, the obtained TiO_2 nanopills were applied as anode materials for Na-ion batteries for the first time. The as-synthesized TiO_2 nanopills achieved a high discharge capacity of 196.4 m Ah/g at a current density of 0.1 A/g. A discharge capacity of 115.9 m Ah/g was obtained at a high current density of 0.5 A/g and the capacity retention was remained as high as 90% even after 3000 cycles. 13Study on Causes of Differences in Tax Burden of Value-Added Tax from the Perspective of Industrial Linkage显示文摘It is of great practical significance to analyze the differences of actual tax burden value-added tax(VAT)from the perspective of industrial linkage for accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system and promoting the formation of a new development pattern.This paper explains the differences and causes of the actual VAT tax burden in the manufacturing industry from the perspective of industrial linkage.According to the research results,the closer the intermediate input connection between an industry and other industries,the lower the actual VAT tax burden it bears.The characteristics of production network have a moderating effect on the relationship between the linkage of the manufacturing industries and the actual VAT tax burden.For the industries in the center of the production network,a stable backward linkage weakens the influence of industrial linkage on their actual tax burden.It is difficult for industries located in the spillover block to reduce their tax burden by adjusting the linkage of intermediate goods.In addition,highly linked manufacturing enterprises can also reduce their actual VAT tax burden by tax avoidance,tax shifting,adjusting the types of intermediate inputs and so on.Smoothing the domestic production network of the manufacturing industry and optimizing the VAT burden bearing mechanism of each manufacturing sub-industry will help promote the stable growth of the manufacturing industry and healthy development of the macro economy in China.Deyin Chu Yuan Li Tongbin Zhang 2023China Finance and Economic Review2023,12,4:0

15Estimate on spillover effect of environmental pollution between peripheral areas显示文摘Interaction of environmental pollution between peripheral areas has become a central topic in the field of resources and environment but little is known about the actual impact on peripheral areas in the current literature.This paper sets out a simultaneous equation model to investigate the spillover effect of environmental pollution between China's peripheral areas utilizing the panel data of 218 cities in China.Making use of indicators for measuring the impact on environmental pollution,it identifies that environmental pollution between cities of China has a significant two-way spillover effect.After standardization of variables,it is found that the spillover effect of peripheral areas on urban environmental pollution cannot be neglected.Nearly,a third of the environmental pollution level in a city is induced by the environmental pollution in peripheral areas.If the indicator of environmental pollution in peripheral areas is missing,wrong conclusions will be drawn.Therefore,government should shift the emphasis of environmental regulation from local to global,and improve the overall environmental quality through coordinated management of regional environment.Qingqing Ma Tongbin Zhang Jinkai Li 2019Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2019,17,3:0
16A five-parameter constitutive model for hysteresis shearing and energy dissipation of rock joints显示文摘Rock joints exhibit hysteresis shearing behavior and produce energy dissipation under shear cyclic loads,which however cannot be accurately depicted by existing constitutive models. This paper establishes a constitutive model for hysteresis shearing and associated energy dissipation of rock joints. Analytical expressions of the model during cyclic shearing processes are derived. Derivation of the model indicates no energy dissipation in the elastic stage. When the shear load exceeds elastic boundary, nonlinear energy dissipation takes place. Validations with experiments show that the proposed model provides good conformities with direct shear curves and hysteresis loops, and can predict the energy dissipation characteristics of rock joints under different working conditions. Compared to the constitutive models using Weibull's distribution, the proposed one is smooth at the elastic boundary and can accurately capture the maximum shear stress.
