Chemical vapor deposition of monolayer WS2 nano- sheets on Au foils toward direct application in hydrogen evolution显示文摘Monolayer tungsten disulfide (WS2), a typical member of the semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenide family has drawn considerable interest because of its unique properties. Intriguingly the edge of WS2 exhibits an ideal hydrogen binding energy which makes WS2 a potential alternative to Pt-based electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Here, we demonstrate for the first time the successful synthesis of uniform monolayer WS2 nanosheets on centimeter- scale Au foils using a facile, low-pressure chemical vapor deposition method. The edge lengths of the universally observed triangular WS2 nanosheets are tunable from -100 to N1,000 nm. The WS2 nanosheets on Au foils featuring abundant edges were then discovered to be efficient catalysts for the HER, exhibiting a rather high exchange current density of -30.20 μA/cm2 and a small onset potential of Nl10 mV. The effects of coverage and domain size (which correlate closely with the active edge density of WS2) on the electrocatalytic activity were investigated. This work not only provides a novel route toward the batch-production of monolayer WS2 via the introduction of metal foil substrates but also opens up its direct application for facile HER.Yanshuo Zhang Jianping Shi Gaofeng Han Minjie Li Qingqing Ji Donglin Ma Yu Zhang Cong Li Xingyou Lang Yanfeng Zhang Zhongfan Liu 2015Nano Research2015,8,9:7
Aneuploidy of chromosome 8 in circulating tumor cells correlates with prognosis in patients with advanced gastric cancer显示文摘Objective: Previous work indicated that aneuploidy of chromosome 8 in circulating tumor cells(CTCs)correlated with therapeutic efficacy for advanced gastric cancer(AGC) patients. In this follow-up study performed on the same population of AGC patients, we investigated whether and how aneuploidy of chromosome 8 in CTCs correlates with patients' clinical prognosis. Methods: The prospective study was performed on 31 patients with newly diagnosed AGC. Previously established integrated subtraction enrichment(SE) and immunostaining-fluorescence in situ hybridization(i FISH)platform was applied to identify, enumerate and characterize CTCs. Quantification of CTCs and analysis of their aneuploidy of chromosome 8 were performed on patients before and after therapy. Results: CTCs were measured in 93.5% of AGC patients, and two CTC subtypes with diverse threshold values were identified, multiploid CTCs with the threshold of ≥2 per 7.5 m L and multiploid plus triploid CTCs with the threshold of ≥4, which were found to significantly correlate with poor progression-free survival(PFS) and overall survival(OS). In particular, patients with ≥10% increased multiploid CTCs after an initial 6 weeks of therapy had poor PFS and OS, whereas improved PFS and OS were observed on those who had ≥10% decreased multiploid CTCs. After adjusting for clinically significant factors, ≥10% increased post-therapy multiploid CTCs was the only independent predictor of PFS and OS.Conclusions: Aneuploidy of CTCs correlates with prognosis of AGC patients. Quantitative comparison monitoring multiploid CTCs before and after therapy may help predict improved or inferior prognosis and chemoresistance.Yilin Li Xiaotian Zhang Jifang Gong Qiyue Zhang Jing Gao Yanshuo Cao Daisy Dandan Wang Peter Ping Lin Lin Shen 2016Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2016,28,6:7
Synthesis and pervaporation performance of high-reproducibility silicalite-1 membranes显示文摘High-reproducibility silicalite-1 membranes were synthesized on silica tubes by in-situ hydrothermal synthesis, and the relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) of average separation factor for eight membranes was only 7.5%. By using an effective method called 'solution-filling (SF)', the average flux of membranes prepared with SF method was improved by about 49% compared to membranes prepared without SF method, and the highest flux of membrane prepared with SF method towards ethanol/H2O mixture at 80℃ was 1.49 kg/(m2·h). Pervaporation experiments showed that the fluxes of silicalite-1 membranes at 60℃ were 2.63, 0.87, 0.24, and 0.20 kg/(m2·h) towards methanol/H2O, ethanol/H2O, 2-propanol/H2O, and 1-propanol/H2O mixtures, respectively, and the corresponding separation factors were 22, 69, 81, and159, respectively.CHEN HongLiang LI YanShuo Zhu GuangQi LIU Jie YANG WeiShen 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,22:3
Two-step pyrolysis of ZIF-8 functionalized with ammonium ferric citrate for efficient oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs) are widely employed in catalyst synthesis as parental materials for electrochemical energy storage and conversion. Herein, we have demonstrated a facile synthesis of highly efficient catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction in both alkaline and acidic medium, which is derived from ZIF-8 functionalized with ammonium ferric citrate via two-step pyrolysis in Ar and NH_3 atmosphere. The results reveal that the catalytic activity improvement after NH3 pyrolysis benefits from mesoporedominated morphology and high utilization of Fe-containing active sites. The optimum catalyst shows excellent performance in zinc-air battery and polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell tests.Yifan Ye Fan Cai Chengcheng Yan Yanshuo Li Guoxiong Wang Xinhe Bao 2017Journal of Energy Chemistry2017,26,6:2
Preparation of high selectivity silicalite-1 membranes by two-step in situ hydrothermal synthesis显示文摘High selectivity silicalite-1 membranes were synthesized on silica tubes by in situ hydrothermal synthesis. Using a two-step synthesis, a membrane with a separation factor of 99 was prepared for separating an ethanol/water mixture at 60°C. The average (n = 4) flux and separation factor of the membranes were 0.47 kg m-2 h-1 and 89, respectively. The membranes exhibited high reproducibility, and the relative standard deviation of the average (n = 4) flux and separation factor were only 5.3% and 9.2%, respectively. These results suggest that silica is a suitable support for synthesis of high-performance silicalite-1 membranes.CHEN HongLiang LI YanShuo YANG JiSong HOU YongXia SONG XueYing HU XiaoJun YANG WeiShen 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,33:2

Electromagnetic modification of faceted-faceted Ni_(31)Si_(12)-Ni_2Si eutectic alloy显示文摘In an electromagnetic field, the morphology of a binary faceted-faceted (FF) Ni31Si12-Ni2Si eutectic microstructure and the alloy's mechanical properties were investigated. Hardness experiments demonstrated that the solidified ingots were significantly strengthened, and the hardness was improved to 63.1 and 786.6 on the Rockwell hardness C and Vickers hardness scales, respectively. Tests of friction and wear in stirred FF eutectic alloys showed excellent anti-fatigue and anti-adhesion wear performance. Alloy changed from an anomalous microstructure to a refined quasi-regular structure, and there was an increase in the lamellar microstructure fraction. The formation process of the refined quasi-regular microstructure and the resulting mechanical properties were investigated.LU YiPing LI GuoBin DU YanYan JI YanShuo JIN Qun LI TingJu 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,13:1
Synthesis and separation performance of silicalite-1 membranes on silica tubes显示文摘High-performance silicalite-1 membranes were synthesized on silica tubes by in-situ hydrothermal synthesis. By using the 'solution-filling (SF)' method, the average flux of membranes with the SF method was improved by about 25% compared to that of the membranes without using the SF method; the flux and the separation factor of the membranes prepared with the SF method for an ethanol/water mixture at 60 ℃ were 0.99 kg/(m2·h) and 73, respectively. It was found that the membranes synthesized on silica tubes exhibited high thermal stability and high reproducibility, and the relatively standard deviations (R.S.D.) of the average flux and separation factor were only 9.6% and 5.6%, respectively, which suggests that the silica support is more suitable than other kinds of supports for preparing high-performance silicalite-1 membranes.CHEN HongLiang LI YanShuo ZHU GuangQi YANG WeiShen 2009Science China Chemistry2009,52,5:0
Favorable response to immunotherapy in a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor with temozolomide-induced high tumor mutational burden显示文摘Neuroendocrine neoplasm of the pancreas is a rare tumor with limited treatment options.Among such tumors, treatment for pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor(PanNET)G3 is the most difficult.Temozolomide(TMZ)is commonly used to treat PanNET.However,TMZ may cause tumor gene alkylation, which induces drug resistance and rapid disease progression.Herein,we present a case of a female who was diagnosed with PanNET G3 and achieved a partial response to toripalimab,an anti-programmed cell death-ligand 1(anti-PD-L1)monoclonal antibody, after multiple cycles of TMZ treatment.Genomic profiling revealed that compared with the patient’s samples collected at baseline, the postTMZ-treatment samples had markedly higher levels of tumor mutational burden(TMB)associated with characteristic alkylating mutational signature representing a positive correlation with favorable response to anti-PD-1 treatment. In addition,we observed a germline truncating mutation of MUTYH(W156*)that was considered to be pathogenic and potentially conferred to genomic instability. This case suggests that anti-PD-1 therapy could be a treatment option for PanNET patients with increased TMB after TMZ-based treatment.Yanshuo Cao Yutong Ma Jiangyuan Yu Yu Sun Tingting Sun Yang Shao Jie Li Lin Shen Ming Lu 2020Cancer Communications2020,40,12:0
Preparation and pervaporation performance of high-quality silicalite-1 membranes显示文摘High-performance silicalite-1 membranes were successfully synthesized on novel porous silica tubes by two-step in-situ hydrothermal synthesis. The flux and separation factor towards ethanol/water mix- ture at 60℃were 0.56 kg/(m2·h)and 84,respectively.The as-synthesized silicalite-1 membranes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The influence of different synthesis conditions on the separation performance of the silicalite-1 membranes was investigated. It was found that the average flux of silicalite-1 membranes was improved by about 26%after filling the silica tubes with mixed solution containing glycerol and water. After calcinating at 400℃for 5 h repeatedly, membrane synthesized on silica tube still showed high pervaporation performance towards ethanol/water mixture even at a calcination rate of 4℃/min,which suggested that silica support was more suitable for pre- paring high-performance silicalite-1 membranes.CHEN HongLiang LI YanShuo LIU Jie YANG WeiShen 2007Science China Chemistry2007,50,1:0

Entropy method of measuring and evaluating periodicity of quasi-periodic trajectories显示文摘This paper presents a method for measuring the periodicity of quasi-periodic trajectories by applying discrete Fourier transform(DFT) to the trajectories and analyzing the frequency domain within the concept of entropy. Having introduced the concept of entropy, analytical derivation and numerical results indicate that entropies increase as a logarithmic function of time. Periodic trajectories typically have higher entropies, and trajectories with higher entropies mean the periodicities of the motions are stronger. Theoretical differences between two trajectories expressed as summations of trigonometric functions are also derived analytically. Trajectories in the Henon-Heiles system and the circular restricted three-body problem(CRTBP) are analyzed with the indicator entropy and compared with orthogonal fast Lyapunov indicator(OFLI). The results show that entropy is a better tool for discriminating periodicity in quasiperiodic trajectories than OFLI and can detect periodicity while excluding the spirals that are judged as periodic cases by OFLI. Finally, trajectories in the vicinity of 243 Ida and 6489 Golevka are considered as examples, and the numerical results verify these conclusions. Some trajectories near asteroids look irregular, but their higher entropy values as analyzed by this method serve as evidence of frequency regularity in three directions. Moreover, these results indicate that applying DFT to the trajectories in the vicinity of irregular small bodies and calculating their entropy in the frequency domain provides a useful quantitative analysis method for evaluating orderliness in the periodicity of quasi-periodic trajectories within a given time interval.Yanshuo Ni Konstantin Turitsyn Hexi Baoyin Junfeng Li 2018Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2018,61,6:0
